Chapter 2-5: All Part of the Fun
Sometime later, Dylla is waiting for everyone to come out with their new outfits.
Soon, the first to walk out is Epel, wearing his White Rabbit outfit. His outfit has light pink and light bluish color sleeved outfit with a cover all with white and pale bluish green. It also has a matching ribbon with frills. He is also wearing gloves, and a pink puffy collar around his neck, with a dark ribbon. He is also wearing a bonnet and pink ribbons, with white rabbit ears.
Epel says, "I'm all ready!"
The next person to come out is Silver, he's wearing a white rabbit outfit as well, is a lightish bluish tunic jacket with gold buttons, and a pink sash with light pink ribbons. The pants and hat are the same color. The hat, looks kind of like a hat that band members wear, but shorter, with a gold band and white rabbit ears as well
"I've changed as well," Silver says.
"Wow! Talk about a perfect fit!" Dylla happily says.
"Long ears, fluffy tail... The very picture of the White Rabbit. I had imagined these festival costumes would be simple things, but they're quite elaborate," Silver says.
"Yours is meant to be a marching band uniform. Don't you love how elaborate it is?" Dylla asks.
"I do! It's so fancy, but it looks really gallant on you, Silver," Epel says.
"I'll take your word for it," Silver says.
"Mine came with a cape. And check out this incredible collar!" Epel says.
"That's called a ruff," Dylla says, "Nobles would wear them in the old days. No one wears them nowadays, even in the Queendom of Roses, but they make for a fun costume. And you'll certainly stand out from the crowd!"
"It suits you well, Epel," Silver says.
"Thank you. I thought I'd be more embarrassed to dress up as a rabbit, but I really love this. Maybe because Deuce's own mother picked it out for me?" Epel says.
Suddenly, they hear Briar's voice, "We've finished changing."
Everyone turns to see Briar, Sereia and Trinket walk out wearing their new outfits.
Briar is wearing a light blue knee-length dress with short puffy sleeves and matching blue rounded collar. She also wears white stockings that have black stripes on it, and black mary janes. The pinafore apron she is wearing is white that goes up to the shoulders of the dress, and has the picture of the white rabbit silhouette of gold on it. It's also tied with a pink ribbon to her back. On her head, she is wearing a white headband that has white bunny ears attached to it, and wears a black ribbon on it. She also has a small bag that looks almost like a cookie with the word, 'Eat Me,' on it.
Sereia is wearing a similar outfit, but hers is a light greenish color. Instead of an apron, she is wearing a white vest with gold buttons on it, and a pink sash with light green ribbons on it, and her dress goes a few inches before her ankles, covering her white and blue striped stockings, and black mary janes. On her head, she is wearing a white frilled hairband with white bunny ears on it, and has a pink ribbon on it. She too has a small pouch in the shape of a bottle that has a keychain that looks like a table that reads, 'Drink Me.'
Trinket is wearing a small outfit that actually looks similar to the girls, only hers is bright green, and her hair has been styled to look like bunny ears with some bunny ear hair clips attached, and instead of mary janes, she wears small boots.
"What do you all think?" Sereia asks, blushing a bit.
"Wow. You all look great," Epel says, amazed.
"It looks good on you," Silver says.
"Thank you," Briar says.
"Thank you. I really like it, and the bunny ears are cute," Sereia says.
"Hmm, but I have to wonder why our clothes look somewhat different than you guys," Briar says.
Dylla says, "Easy, when Deuce told me a few girls are coming over, I've decided to use some inspiration for the curious girl."
"Curious girl?" The girls reply.
"Yes. The Curious Girl is about a young girl who wandered into a new world following the White Rabbit you see before. She traveled to the kingdom of madness and soon met the Queen of Hearts herself," Dylla says.
"Really? The girl traveled to another world?" Briar asks.
"Wow. Just like you, Briar," Seriea says.
"I guess so," Briar says.
Soon, Tanzanite and Jasper walk out.
"Okay, we're done," Tanzanite says.
"I'm not sure about it," Jasper says.
Jasper and Tanzanite walk out and reveal that their attire looks a lot similar to the white rabbit topiaries they've seen earlier. Of course there's a different color scheme. Tanzanite wears a dark blue shirt with gray pants, and white shoes. He wears an aqua green ruff with a white flag on the front that also has a red heart and a light rabbit on it. He is also wearing glasses similar to the rabbit's as well.
Jasper is wearing an orange shirt and gray pants, and black shoes. He is wearing a light yellow ruff with a white flag and has a red diamond and a light yellow rabbit on it.
Of course, both of them are wearing white rabbit ears on their heads, and white rabbit tails on their pants.
"Wow, you both look great," Briar says.
"I agree, they suit you both," Silver says.
"Thanks," Tanzanite says with a smile.
Jasper says, "I feel silly wearing this fluffy collar," and gently tugs it.
Epel walks to Jasper, "Your ears are bent. Let me fix that for you," And fixes his ears, "There you go!"
"Thanks," Jasper says, still embarrassed about wearing them.
Silver then says to Tanzanite, "You look like one of the topiaries from the park come to life. You even have the spectacles."
"Thank you. Dylla got them for me," Tanzanite says.
"The ears, the tail! You really pull them off!" Epel says.
And soon enough, Grim walks out, and he is wearing a new ribbon. Grim's ribbon is white with a blue and yellow triangle pattern on it, and a gold lace around his neck.
Grim happily says, "And look at me! I got a ribbon on! Whaddya think?"
"It's very colorful," Silver says.
"And I love the frills!" Epel says.
"I like the colors," Sereia says.
And Dylla says, "You look great! I'm sure Deuce will think so too."
Soon, Ortho calls out, "We're back!"
Everyone looks and is surprised to see Ortho's outfit. It's a yellow and green scheme with a color ruff and puffy sleeves, and his legs are white with a yellow and green ribbon around his left leg. He also has ears on his head.
"I finished my costume!" Ortho says happily.
Everyone is amazed, "Whoa!"
"You MADE this? You were only gone a few minutes! That's amazing!" Grim says, impressed.
"Wow. you look really great, Ortho!" Jasper says.
"I call it Rabbit Gear!" Ortho says.
"That's so cute," Sereia says.
"Hard to believe you put that together so quickly. It truly captures that rabbit-like cuteness," Silver says.
"I have to agree. You even have cute bunny ears on you, and a tail as well. I think it actually moved," Briar says.
"You're amazing, Ortho!" Sereia says.
Trinket agrees.
Ortho giggles, "Heh heh, thanks!"
Then Epel notices, "Something else seems different about you, Ortho. I can't quite put my finger on it though."
Silver notices, "He's not floating."
"Oh, you're right!" Epel says, quick yo notice.
"I've omitted the anti-gravity unit this time. I prioritized being as similar to the White Rabbit as possible. So I removed a lot of components from my usual School Uniform Gear. After all, this is White Rabbit Fest! I wanted to get into the spirit of things with everyone," Ortho says
"Such attention to detail…" Epel says.
Then Silver notices, "Wait, where is Deuce?"
"We came back and changed at the same time, so he should be ready…" Ortho says.
Then Silver says, "...Now that you mention it, I see a pair of rabbit ears peeking out of the door."
Everyone looks to see bunny ears sticking out, and those ears and that hair is Deuce.
"THERE you are, Deuce!" Dylla says, walking over, "Don't be shy—come on out."
Deuce then slowly walks out to reveal his outfit. His outfit is a blue, light gold, and white scheme. A jacket with puffed sleeves and wrist cuffs, a blue vest, a white dressed shirt underneath, wearing dark blue suspenders. He also has a yellow bow tie. He also has a pin that has ribbons tied to look like a flower with a white rabbit on it. He also wears a watch as well with gold and white colored ribbons. He also wears a blue top hat with white diamonds, a yellow and orange ribbon, a blue puffball, and bunny ears.
Deuce blushes and says, "This is so embarrassing."
"You look really cool, Deuce!" Epel says.
Deuce asks, "Y-you think so?"
"It suits you perfectly. Probably because it was selected by someone who knows you so well," Silver says.
"The blue fabric is really cool. It just screams 'Deuce.'" Epel says.
"And the diamond motif is striking," Ortho says.
"It's a popular pattern in the Queendom of Roses," Deuce says.
"The mini top hat and the rosette are cool accents as well!" Ortho says.
"Gotta admit, it looks really cool," Jasper says.
"It looks nice," Tanzanite says.
"It's stylish, but a little comical too, right? Perfect for a festival,"Dylla says.
Deuce then says, "B-but isn't it a bit over the top? What if I toned it down and just wore the ears and tail...?"
"Over the top? For White Rabbit Fest? No such thing!" Dylla says, "Wearing something you'd never be caught dead in normally is all part of the fun. You should be embarrassed NOT to wear this."
"Never thought of it that way…" Deuce says.
"I wasn't sure at first either, but now that we're all dressed up, I'm getting excited!" Epel says.
"It feels like we're in a parade!" Ortho says.
"Me too," Sereia says.
"Hm, you know, I think you're right. Thanks everyone. Especially, you, Mom!" Deuce says.
"You look really cute, Deuce," Briar says.
"That's a compliment...right?" Deuce asks.
"Of course it is," Briar says.
Deuce smiles and says, "I hate wearing stuff like this, but I guess it's fine for a festival. Your outfit is really cute too, Briar."
"Thank you," Briar says.
