The Pack Reacts
The change was subtle.
Harry didn't announce it.
He didn't say anything.
But the pack?
They felt it.
Because suddenly—
Harry wasn't avoiding them anymore.
He let Malia drag him into ridiculous arguments.
He let Lydia shove a scarf at him with an unimpressed look, silently demanding he wear it because it was "too damn cold for his tiny body."
He let Stiles ramble at him, let Derek give him those silent, knowing looks, let the pack be around him without resisting.
And Peter?
Peter smirked, because he had known it would happen eventually.
The pack had claimed Harry.
And now, finally, Harry had claimed them back.
The Final Straw for Scott
Scott was not handling it well.
Harry could see it every time the other alpha looked at him—anger, frustration, something raw and bitter.
And it was getting worse.
So when Scott finally snapped, it wasn't a surprise.
It was a disaster.
