For Sparky it was normal that nobody paid him any attention, not even his parents after that incident, this made him inwardly shutter, he didn't like the memory of his biggest mistake in life. That was until he was paired with Lolbit who for some god damn reasons was his roommate even if she was a girl and this was only boys building. The same girl that was currently peeking over his shoulder, he didn't get her fascination she had over him, it was weird. What was even weirder was how fast she changed in the bathroom from her way too formal suit to the clothing she had now.

He could see her reflection in the mirror that was just leaning against the desk. Now her hair was let loose, lengthwise her hair was down to the middle of her back, pretty long if anyone asked him. Next, she was wearing an orange shirt, plain and simple, nothing that special. On top of that said shirt was her short jacket, it was black, he could respect that, at least she had some great eye for color combinations. Pants now replaced by a skirt that had square design on it, each square had a white outline and the skirt was held up by a belt that had hearts on it.

Suddenly her purple eyes flashed with mischief as she took a few steps back, much to his relief, it didn't take long for that said relief to be washed away as she spun in place her skirt and hair twirling with the motion.

"So, what do you think? Does it fit me, Sparks?" if that wasn't enough, she even winked at him, he really should have ignored her instead of inspecting her through the mirror, what a mistake, now he even had to answer. Turning around in his chair he faced her, trying his hardest to appear as neutral as possible not showing any emotion that she might take advantage of in her goal of annoying him.

"Well compared to your outfit before, you look like you don't want to cut me a deal of my lifetime anymore." Okay he has to admit, seeing her in that business suit was kind of amusing, mostly because when she arrived all her luggage fell on top of her in a heap of clothing and other stuff, unfortunately because she packed so much and he was helping her clean up as having messy room was not exactly pleasant, they arrived a little late to the gym for the gathering.

"Awh come on! Is that the best compliment you can come up with? I thought your brain could spark up some better interaction." She punted like a five-year-old, it was probably to mock him or something, he didn't know, he had low rate of communication with people as it was, much less with girls. Come to think of it, apart from Mangle, that was already two years ago, the only girl or woman he ever talked to was his aunt Alice. He really needed better friends Springtrap and his band of misfits. What kind of problem will he cause this time? Only time could tell.

Suddenly he was brought back to reality by fingers being snapped right in front of his nose with Lolbit repeating something along the lines of 'Earth to Sparky, do you hear me?' pushing her hand away and straightening his posture while wiping his shirt he looked at her, she was closer than before, probably, he couldn't tell it required more thinking than he wanted to do right now.

"I do hear you, even though I wish I didn't, also will you stop calling me Sparks, I hate that." With that she took a bouncy step away, was she really that happy to have a roommate or was it all just a play pretend? It doesn't matter, once the issue is fixed, she will be moved to the girl building, easy peasy all problems fixed! Lately he hardly spoke to himself, but with Lolbit it was about to change, he could feel it.

Suddenly her ears perked up, the look in her eyes changed from mischievous to excited and he wasn't sure if that was a good or bad sign, he would go with the latter.

"Let's go explore! That would for sure be more fun than sitting at your computer playing whatever!" She was practically beaming with excitement, it was probably normal since she was new and all, but for him who attended this school since beginning it wasn't as exciting as it was for her.

And just like any gentleman would act towards a girl that just wanted to spend some time with him obviously he finally said "No." With the flattest tone that anyone on this planet could ever hear.

However, it seemed like what she said was not a question, but a statement as his hand was suddenly grabbed. Before he could even register what was happening, she was already dragging him through the hallway who knows where.

Looking at the signs it seemed like she was heading for the cafeteria, that was the last place he imagined when she was talking about exploration. Along the way he could see the other newbie, Foxy Smith, he saw him briefly when getting called to the stage after arriving late. His red fur, the gray hoodie and white shirt with normal looking jeans were still present on him. His gold eyes were the same as Mangle's, he always found Mangle's eyes interesting but now that he saw Smith had the same it was nothing compared to the interesting purple eyes of Lolbit, he didn't catch if Smith was surrounded by his friends that he also saw talking with him at the gathering.

Just when it looked like it couldn't get worse it actually did when he saw Lolbit going straight to Mangle, Bon, Chi-Chi and Fred. That wasn't good, not good at all, last time Mangle found out that he joined Springtrap she was less than pleased to say the least and so were her friends, that's how their friendship ended.

They didn't talk anymore after that, and now Lolbit was dragging him towards them, he couldn't let that happen so with his free arm he gripped one of the tables near him, it gave a loud screech making everyone look in their direction.

Lolbit obviously surprised by him grabbing the table in order not to be dragged just looked back at him, her eyes reflecting her emotion perfectly, the amusement, confusion and a slight frustration.

"What's wrong?" She asked softly, probably so the others in the room wouldn't hear, or if it was just a play pretend to care, whatever the reason everyone was looking at them anyway.

With a sigh he decided to answer, there was nothing else to do anyway and for the record she deserved to know why he didn't want to go there.

"You see, they don't actually like me much." He winced internally in his mind, of course they wouldn't like him, he messed with Mangle and if you mess with one you mess with everyone.

"So yeah, going near them is a death wish for me."

She seemed to ponder over what he just told her, probably also looking for a solution if there was any, that was a guess as she wasn't looking his way anymore and so he couldn't see her face.

Her ears perked up again as she came up with something, her tail swishing like a metronome on steroids. "No worries! I'll be there with you; nothing will happen trust me!"

And that's exactly how he found himself sitting at a table with Lolbit and the 'toy group'.

It was easy to feel the daggers they were all staring at him apart from Lolbit, she didn't know him nor what he did so there was no reason for her to try and kill him with her glare, unlike Mangle that was sitting right across him.

What an uncomfortable feeling, even the atmosphere was weird, thick so much that anyone could cut it with a knife and yet it wouldn't lift up even a little.

He really didn't like being in that situation, that's why he was glancing around in case there would be a good opportunity to leave. Springtrap would probably call him a coward if he saw him but to be honest nothing is as scary as an angry woman, at least to him.

Lolbit gave a little awkward cough drawing the attention of others to her instead of him. Finally, he could breathe a little and not feel like dying any second.

"So, this is. . .. a nice table?" He could hear the awkwardness in Lolbit's voice, probably because she expected them all just to talk and question each other about their hobbies and such and instead was met with a pretty uncomfortable situation. "My name is Lolbit, I know you all heard at the gathering but I didn't catch yours since we were both late!"

They all introduced themselves, even allowing her to call them by their nicknames, all seemed okay between them, a perfect time for him to slip out and go about his own things like walking to his dorm and start regretting ever coming back to the school.

That was until Lolbit grabbed him by the shoulders and said that he was her friend, this was way too confusing, they knew each other for like seven hours at most and she was already calling him her friend? Normally he would be frustrated, but at this point he gave up arguing with her, so far it always ended up with her doing whatever she wanted anyway. Just like in the morning, arguing with her that she can unpack later and all that stuff but she was all 'no no it cannot wait!' and in the end both of them arrived late, his aunt even called him to get off his ass and get to the assembly.

His thoughts were interrupted by Bon calling him nothing but a filthy backstabber upon hearing Lolbit call him her friend. He couldn't argue because it was true, he stabbed them all in the back by abandoning them and joining a group that at first seemed like the best thing in the world, but lately it felt like the opposite.

Internally wincing when she said that it couldn't be true that he wasn't looking or acting like a backstabber at all, if only she knew who her roommate actually was in reality. Poor her, having to figure it out sooner or later. The banter went on for a while and got louder each second drawing the gaze of others in the cafeteria at the noise. Deciding that enough is enough he stood up and walked away from there, it was only when he was already in the hallway that he could hear the footsteps running after him, it didn't take a genius to figure out that the person who went after him was Lolbit.

She actually ran around his right side only to stop in front of him looking like she was about to ask something, the question was clear enough without her saying anything, it was the look of is it true what they said? He had to laugh to himself, not out loud though.

"Yes, all they said is true, and no I'm not lying I did betray them." He was watching her face intently, wanting to see what emotions would play on her features, in her eyes and expression. What he found was only the look of confusion, a silent why? Clearly written in her eyes.

"You should go back to them, you deserve real friends and honestly they are better friend material than I ever will be." there was no point in lying, in pretending or trying to save his own skin, the truth would come up later anyway, better to cut the shit out as soon as possible before it can cause some nasty damage.

She looked like she was about to argue with him, looking like dragging him back too and probably wanting to make things right between them all, what a waste of time it would be, but then suddenly someone called her name, by the sound of the soft and kind of melodic voice it was clear that this someone calling for Lolbit was Mangle herself.

Looking back at him and her it was clear that Lolbit was torn between going back with or without him, but then it struck him, what if she would reveal that they are roommates? Not only would it make a few of them panic and question how it's possible but he was sure that anyone from the toy group would go and kill him.

After she took a step forward it was clear that the choice she made was to go back to them, but before she could walk past him, he stopped her for a bit trying to make it go as unnoticed as possible, he told her not to say that they were roommates which she agreed even if her expression was one of a bigger confusion than before but it had to do. Then she was gone and he was free, just like he wanted, but why was he feeling so lonely? He was used to being the lone wolf, pun intended, so why was he feeling this way now after all those five years?

No matter, as he resumed his walk not sure where to go, guess it was up to where his legs would take him.

Sooner or later, he found himself in the familiar hallway of the building of the boys' dorm, maybe he could go back to his room and play some good old Honkai Star Rail, or literally anything else, he had no shortage of games, his only companions in times of need and relaxation.

That's when a greenish hand warped around his shoulder like Lolbit's hand did before in the cafeteria, this however didn't leave any warm feeling, it actually felt cold and dangerous.

Looking to his left side he was met with the face of Springtrap, to his right he could see both Shadow Freddy and Shadow Bonnie, those two were never too apart from each other. Anyway, what kind of shit could Springtrap want today was the better question.

"So, I saw you arrive late at the gathering, which wouldn't be a problem at all, but you didn't arrive alone." The greenish bunny started, with Shadow Freddy snickering in the background and Shadow Bonnie doing whatever he couldn't see him anyway.

"Yeah? And what about it?" He asked him, this was not looking good but maybe he could play it off and Springtrap would let him be? Maybe not, friend or not friend when it came to Springtrap it didn't matter you didn't do as told you are going to get punished no matter what, which often resulted in a beating if seeing what often happened to others was any proof.

"You wouldn't ditch us for a girl would you right Sparky?" That sounded less like a question and more like a threat, daring him to do so and he would see and definitely feel the consequences.

"What are you talking about Springtrap?" Maybe playing dumb would help him get out of this situation, or maybe make it worse, who knows. But the fact was that he was already pissed of listening to Mangle and her friends talking shit to him as much as it was deserved.

"You know what? Fuck you Miller." With that he shook Springtrap's arm off himself and he would continue walking his own way, that is if he didn't realize how big of a mistake, he made by telling him off. Second, he was rammed to the wall and lifted up by a hand tightly wrapped around his neck, it hurt a lot and hanging in the air like that was not optimal either.

"Let me ask you this once, how is it possible that you and that girl arrived at the same time? And you better not lie to me otherwise you won't like what would happen next understood?"

He couldn't even nod in understanding, not in that position, thankfully the grip was not strong enough to stop him from answering.

"That was a coincidence, coincidences fucking happen, okay?" It was a lie and he hoped that Springtrap couldn't see through it. And by the looks of it as he was seemingly scanning him before losing his grip it looked like it worked.

Next thing he knew was that he was thrown to the ground, hitting his left side hard, it almost made him give out a pained cry, thankfully almost, it was known that this bastard of a bunny enjoyed the pain of others, again no matter if it was friend or a foe, what a fucking nightmare.

"Well if it was really just a coincidence, then I suppose it's okay, what I cannot say was okay was the disrespect from you."

Thankfully all three of them started to turn around and walk off, with Shadow Freddy talking that next time he would show disrespect it wouldn't be as pleasant as this, which if this was pleasant then who knows how not pleasant would look like. Shadow Bonnie looked at him last time with an expression of pity and maybe regret, it was hard to tell from the ground, not like it mattered anyway.

As they disappeared from his sight, he slowly stood up again, this was hell of a new school year beginning, maybe this year would actually finish him off, that would make things easier for everyone.

He had to get to his room, that was the only safe place in the school, his thoughts drifted back to Lolbit, as much as he didn't want to admit it he hoped that she wouldn't face Springtrap any time soon and if so then hopefully within her friend group that could protect her, he still had no idea why he cared so much, maybe because she was a newcomer or was it because he was starting to have enough of all the shit? After all he traded his old friend group for a different one that seemed like the best thing in the school at that time and now, he constantly regretted that since it was stupid decision of his younger dumb self, if only he could take it all back maybe he wouldn't be in such a deep shit all the time or mentally drained.

After finally getting to his dorm, it was already 3pm, deciding that there was nothing to do. He made himself some quick food while waiting for his PC to turn on. He was in need of some relaxation, and what's better than playing games?

Now equipped with food and the PC being on just like the game he decided to play he dived in, gacha games were interesting, the second you got into it and spend some time playing it you would find yourself unable to stop because your brain would constantly remind you that the time you already spend there would be wasted if you just quit playing it. The wishing system worked the same. It was just an addiction, luckily, he didn't spend much money on it, but still that game brought him happiness in times of need.

When he got bored it was already 6pm and Lolbit was nowhere to be seen, that could mean two things. Either she got lost or and something he hoped was happening is that the toy group accepted her as their friend and were showing her around the school now meaning that she would arrive even later. Not like he missed her or anything, she was just interesting to watch, he still couldn't figure her out though which if it continued would drive him crazy, or her hyperactivity might drive him crazy before that.

Anyway it was time for a shower, there was no way he would go to classes stinky tomorrow and besides taking shower was relaxing on itself, gathering his pajamas and other things he went to the bathroom locking the doors from the inside in case Lolbit would arrive while he was showering and wanted to perhaps wash her face or maybe paint her nails, he wasn't woman there was no way he would know what girls do in bathrooms or toilets half an hour at times and he was glad he didn't know actually.

It was around 6:45pm when he came back from his shower and almost got a heart attack because upon opening the door Lolbit was already back, he didn't hear the main doors open or close, nor did he hear any footsteps. How quiet was this girl?

She was on her upper bunk bed reading a book and not paying him any attention, compared to the whole day of her dragging him everywhere and talking like they knew each other from childhood and even going as far as to call him her friend it was unusual. But then again, they probably told Lolbit about all his bad deeds and maybe she just decided to distance herself? If so, that was actually a good thing for her, being friends with him and he himself being 'friend' with Springtrap would not make her stay at the school pleasant.

There was nothing to do and he definitely didn't want to start a conversation with Lolbit not only because she was reading, so going to sit on his own bed that was underneath her own he pulled up his phone and headphones, maybe watching YouTube until sleep time would be enough entertainment, lately he found everything to be so boring, he was always alone and as much as it benefited him in the past it was already half a year when it started bothering him.

Exactly 58 minutes later he felt the whole bunk bed shake as Lolbit went down the stairs leading to the upper bed and gathered her clothes from the wardrobe before disappearing into the bathroom herself, she didn't have her book when she went down so this was a great opportunity to look what kind of book she was reading.

Getting up he had to stand on his toes to even look if there was the book and surprise, it was there in her pillow just laying.

Climbing the leader enough to see the title he almost laughed, it was 101 Dalmatians, classic Disney book and film. Not that it was a bad taste in books but till now he had no idea it existed in this form.

So going back to sit on his bed again he got a perfect idea, setting a stop watch on his phone he decided to see how long will it take for her to get back compared to his 45 minutes.

She came back at 9:53 so exactly two hours and ten minutes. That time was insane to spend showering, or maybe it wasn't because she has long hair and girls in general take hygiene to the extremes even. She didn't even look at him and went straight to bed.

He should too to be honest it was almost 10pm and they had classes tomorrow, so with that he shut off the lights and laid down covering himself with his own blanket.

It was quite apart from the rustling of the blanket above him as Lolbit apparently turned around.

Just as he was about to close his eyes she spoke up even if quietly.

"You know," she started, sounding quite unsure if she could continue but doing so anyway. "Mangle and others told me about your betrayal of abandoning them and instead joining a different friend group, a friend group that turned into a school bullies' squad."

He gave her a little 'hmm' in acknowledgment, there was no point in arguing, once again it was true and he wasn't afraid of admitting his mistake even to a stranger like her. What caught him off guard was what she said next however.

"I'm not going to pretend that what you did to them wasn't nasty," he could hear her much clearer now as she raised her voice to the normal conversation volume and exhaled. "But I have a feeling that you already regret that decision and it's also not my place to judge, I still want to be your friend as well, I know being alone for almost anything isn't a pleasant feeling."

Was she just giving him a chance at friendship even if she was told of his wrong doings? Did it not disturb her even a bit? If he was honestly, he expected her to announce that she would be talking to the principal about being put into the girl dorms but apparently, she decided that even a fuck up like him deserved a chance.

All he mustered up at that point was a quiet 'thanks' part of him hoped that she didn't hear it or something, but based on the chuckle she let out it was clear she did.

"So will you accept my friend request?" What a cheeky little fox, actually she was taller than him which was embarrassing to say the least.

"I don't think that's a good idea Lolbit, as Mangle said I'm not the best friend material around and you should probably keep your distance." screw the fact that he wasn't a friend material, if Springtrap somehow found out that he was becoming friends with her both of them would be dead, this was a suicide choice to say the least.

"We will work on the attitude and the mental image you have of yourself, don't worry, I'm not known for giving up!" as much as cheerful she sounded the faintly picked up the disappointment in her voice, but there was no way he could endanger both of them.

To say that imagining both of them as friends wasn't the worst thing in the world was true however, too bad that it wasn't reachable right now. And with that he finally fell asleep leaving the tiring day behind him.
