So, what if I'm different from everybody else, or that I'm too much to handle? That's your problem, not mine. I'm my own person, and I don't need to change myself just because you can't handle it.

Classes in the Pine Orphanage for Successful Children had just finished, releasing all the children to do whatever activities they pleased.

Among these children was a boy named Luke Alistar, not quite the age of eighteen yet. He had messy brown hair that matched his similarly colored eyes, a lean build, and loosely fitting, blue and yellow clothing.

Right now, he was excited to join a game of kickball the high schoolers had organized. Due to a very rich philanthropist, the orphanage was able to invest in educational and sports facilities, making it almost as large as a school. It was also one of the largest orphanages in the region and one of the few to have a sponsor.

As classes went, Luke wasn't very interested in most of them. School in general felt very dull, and Luke wasn't one for sitting still. Because of this, many people, teachers and students alike, found him to be a handful.

Despite his energetic and reckless tendencies, or maybe because of it, he was very popular when it came to sports. He was very athletic and typically very good at most of the sports he played, even if he wasn't a team player. Unfortunately, though, most people avoided him when they were off the field. Luke had the habit of talking people's ears off about whatever he was thinking at that moment, whether or not people were willing to hear him.

A respectable crowd of around fifty high schoolers were gathered on the field, splitting up into four slightly uneven teams, with Luke being one of the first picks. They set up a tournament bracket and got ready for the game.

With his team playing offense first, Luke took the fifth position, sitting on the bench next to a boy he recognized from one of his classes.

"Are you ready for the game?" asked Luke, scooting over to him. "Cause I'm definitely ready. We may have one less player than the other team, but it doesn't really matter. All we have to do is aim our kicks away from the opposing team while launching it as far as we can."

The boy nodded, trying to keep up with how fast Luke was speaking. "What about defense?"

Luke rubbed his hands together, his excitement growing as he practically bounced in his seat. "That's where the real fun begins! We've got really good defense players on our team. Have you seen Aiden before, he could catch a meteor from the sky if he wanted to. And once that girl over there has the ball, she can run with it or just chuck it across the field like it's nobody's business."

The boy nodded again. "You seem to know these people well. I haven't been here for more than two weeks, how about you?"

"All my life. You should check out the library computers, the time you get on them is limited to an hour a day, but you get pretty much unrestricted access."

The boy stared at him. "Go back a bit, you said you've been here your whole life?"

Luke shrugged. "Yeah, since I was born apparently. It doesn't really matter. The orphanage is a home to me, and probably will be more of a home than anyplace else. Besides, most people didn't want to choose me because of unruly behavior or something. Now, where was I again?"

The boy was about to respond when the opposing team broke out into cheers, having gotten Luke's team their third out. The boy gave Luke a questioning look, a smile on his face.

"What happened to all the hype?"

"To be fair, I was hyping up our defense. A lot of kids here are really good at defense. Honestly, it probably has to do with the fact that running around, chasing people with a ball and tossing it all over the place is more fun than just a one and done kick. But people like different things. Offense might also-"

"Luke!" shouted the team captain, interrupting his train of speech. "You got midfield. New kid, you got second base."

"Welp, see ya," said Luke, giving the kid a salute. "We'll talk after, what's your name?"

"Damien."

"Nice, I'm Luke. Make sure to play a killer defense. I'll be leading by example, so make sure to watch me crush it out here."

"Will do. Just know I'm holding very high expectations."

Luke laughed, settling into position. The first kicker lined up, taking multiple practice kicks. The pitcher got ready and performed a powerful underhand throw, sending the ball bouncing towards the kicker.

With on fluid motion, the kicker wheeled around and slammed his foot into the ball, sending it flying upwards. Completely confident in his ability, the kicker lightly jogged towards first base, not expending any effort to run.

Luke had other plans, however. He broke into a run, his eyes glued to the red ball as it descended to the ground. His team cheered him on as he got under the ball, reaching directly for it.

However, his hands failed to close around the ball. Instead, the ball hit him directly in the face, sending him sprawling as his world faded to black.

When Luke woke up, his entire world was white with a red splotch. As his eyes focused, he realized he was looking directly at a wall, the red splotch being a fire alarm pull station.

He rolled off his side and sat up with a groan, spots swirling in his eyes as his head throbbed. He now realized he was on a hospital bed. Presumably, he'd been taken to the orphanage infirmary.

He looked around, wondering where the nurses were. That's when he noticed that other than the emergency light, the one directly above him, all lights were off. The window outside showed that it was already night time.

Next to him on a table was a cup of water, two pills, and a get well card perched atop a small box of four cupcakes.

Picking up the card, he saw it was from Damien, congratulating him for getting the lead kicker out and wishing him a swift recovery. Apparently, Luke had managed to catch the ball while unconscious, which people had accepted after much argument.

He put the card down and picked up the medicine, swallowing it with the glass of water. After that, he opened the box of cupcakes, silently thanking Damien.

Suddenly, he heard a scream from his side, causing him to jump as he dropped the cupcake. He turned to the sound of the noise and leapt off the bed, putting up his arms in a defensive position.

That's when he noticed another patient on the bed beside him, the cream having come from her. She seemed to be asleep, meaning she was most likely having a nightmare.

Surprisingly, he didn't recognize her, despite the girl looking to be around his age. There were only around ninety-seven kids ages fifteen to seventeen in the orphanage, and Luke knew most by name.

The girl had long hair that was purple near the roots and became several shades lighter on the way down. She wore a long white dress with gold colored edges, the sides of the dress lavender colored.

At the moment, Luke could hear her muttering things in her sleep. While he couldn't make out most of it, he heard something about a sorcerer, light, and The Consumer. Hearing the name alone sent chills down his spine.

The girl clearly seemed to be in distress. Without even thinking about it, Luke reached forward and gently tapped her on the shoulder.

The girl's reaction was instant. Her eyes flew open, surprise and fear on her face as she tumbled off the bed and bolted to her feet. Luke's eyes widened as he noticed her sharp black eyes and her hands were both glowing.

The girl's panic faded and was instead replaced with annoyance as she saw it was only a kid, the glow fading from her eyes and hands.

"Were you watching me sleep?" she asked, her voice sounding much older than she was. "That's actually really creepy, what's wrong with you? Are you some kind of per-"

Luke shook his head. "You were screaming in your sleep, so I just tapped you, that's all. Also, were your eyes glowing?"

The girl slightly turned red. "Oh, sorry. You can ignore everything I said, and my eyes weren't glowing, that's just plain crazy. You have a red mark on your forehead, you probably hit your head on something."

Luke shook his head. "I didn't hit- well, I did hit my head on something. But I know what I saw, your hands and your eyes were glowing! Also, who's The Consumer? He sounds like a comic book villain-"

The girl gave him an annoyed look. "I said you could forget everything I said! Look, I'm not supposed to be here, so please leave me alone. Where am I anyways?"

"An orphanage. I don't think you can leave right now though, you'll have to wait until tomorrow morning to talk to the staff. They'll ask you how old you are, where are your paren-"

"I know how an orphanage works, I mean what city."

"It's a town actually, Asealia Town."

"Of course, I am. I'm guessing the Gloom Organization is the leading government power here, and that they're Chosen running around, rebelling against them?"

"Who're the Chosen?"

"Chosen, Accursed, whatever this damn place calls them nowadays. Stop being an idiot and answer the question."

"Maybe you should stop being rude first."

The girl closed her eyes and let out a breath she'd been holding in. "Okay, sorry. Look, I'm under a lot of stress right now. Could you please tell me what day it is?"

"Wednesday."

The girl paused, letting out a string of curses as she walked around the room. "Four days, I've been out for four days. How big was the last Ult-"

She cut herself off and looked outside. "Alright kid, it's been fun talking to you. If anyone asks where I went, deny ever seeing me, no matter what. I've been in one place for way too long."

Luke looked at her, his suspicion rising. "You're a criminal, aren't you?"

The girl looked at him, but he cut her off before she could speak.

"That's why you're so afraid of being seen, and why you're trying to leave as soon as you can," accused Luke, backing up towards the fire alarm pull station. "Wait, you're one of the Accursed, that's why your eyes were glowing."

"So, what if I am?" said the girl, her eyes glowing again as shadows gathered around her. "If you know what's good for you, put the cup down, slowly. And stay quiet."

Luke gave her a hard stare. "Nah."

With that, he pulled the alarm, closing his eyes and expecting the worst. It was right then that the wall exploded, electricity crackling through the air as Luke was sent flying by the force of the impact.

He got to his feet, surprised he was still alive. When his vision cleared, he saw an armored man with a black cloak, two jet black wings appearing from his back. His entire body was coursing with electricity, powering up his strength and movement. This was The Ideal One.

The Ideal One currently had his arm outstretched, holding the girl in a chokehold and raising her several centimeters off the ground. The girl struggled against his grip, her powers fading.

Luke snapped to attention, trying to figure out what to do. True, the girl was potentially evil and had been threatening him, but this armored guy was clearly evil and would kill someone right in front of him. He couldn't let that happen, right?

Picking up the small table, he ran forward, swinging the table in an arc. The Ideal One threw the girl into a wall and dodged Luke' attack, spinning around and landing a powerful kick that sent him flying into one of the hospital beds.

The girl got to her feet, her body glowing as two bat-like wings manifested on her back. Her wings glowed as blue light gathered in front of her.

"You're not getting away Celica," said The Ideal One, his own wings powering up.

"Just watch me. Tell The Consumer to get a damn life. I'm not becoming a part of their freak show."

With that, Celica fired a beam of light at The Ideal One, taking off almost immediately afterwards. The Ideal One didn't flinch, dodging the attack and taking off after her.

Luke painfully got to his feet, watching as the two figures clashed in the air. Lightning flashed as The Ideal One struck Celica with multiple blows, Celica desperately trying to shield herself through the use of shadows. With one sweep of her wings, she propelled herself backwards as she landed on the ground inside of the infirmary, trying to escape.

The Ideal One landed shortly afterwards, dashing towards Celica. Luke used the opportunity to shove one of the wheeled beds at him, but the bed simply exploded as The Ideal One smashed it.

Celica found herself back against a wall, her fear growing as The Ideal One advanced. Her powers began to rise to dangerous levels as her wings began to glow, only adding to her fear.

"Leave me alone!" she shouted, grabbing the nearest object and chucking it at The Ideal One. "You don't know what you're doing!"

The Ideal One paused, but not out of uncertainty. "Oh, I know exactly what I'm doing."

Before Luke could react, The Ideal One lunged for Celica, his wings sparking with electricity as he flew. However, he never reached her.

Instead, there was an explosion of energy as reality itself seemed to shake. Luke was thrown to the ground as The Ideal One crouched, digging his gauntleted hand into the ground and riding the chaos with ease. There was an incredibly loud and painful sound as rifts in reality began to tear.

Luke' eyes widened as he realized what was happening. All around him, portals began to open, Ultra Wormholes. Celica disappeared into one that opened right next to her, The Ideal One moving to follow. However, a large red fist blocked the way, the portal seeming to expand as a creature began exiting from it.

The creature looked to be a Pokémon but looked much scarier and a lot more dangerous. It had four red, well-muscled legs, attached to an even more muscular body. The creature had multiple wings on its back and a long, needle-like mouth. There was a flash of red as an aura surrounded it, its strength increasing.

Luke stared at the creature before him. "What… is that?"

The Ideal One began to laugh. "That is an Ultra Beast. A fearsome Pokémon from another reality! Finally, after three long years of abusing her power… we've finally encountered one. Count yourself lucky kid. You get to see a monster of absolute power and beauty, one that can rival legendaries themselves!"

"Lucky? We're all going to-"

He never got to finish as the Ultra Beast swung its arm around, creating a massive shockwave that blasted everything in all different directions. Luke hit the ground and rolled several meters, wondering how he was still alive. From his view outside the orphanage, he could see that the entire medical wing had been demolished. He only hoped the fire alarm had gotten everyone out safely.

Meanwhile, The Ideal One was engaged in combat with the Ultra Beast. Unlike his previous fights, which had usually been about overwhelming his foe, he had to fight very carefully here. A single one of those strikes had leveled the entire building section, a direct hit could easily damage his armor and maybe even him.

The Ideal One focused his electricity towards his wings, dodging the Ultra Beast's powerful, singular blows. Sensing an opportunity, he dove in, attacking the Ultra Beast's midsection with multiple electrified blows.

The attacks, however, didn't seem to do much. The Ultra Beast brought its arm down for a crushing blow, narrowly missing as The Ideal One flew backwards. Despite the fact it didn't hit directly, The Ideal One was still thrown back from the incredible force behind it.

He righted himself in mid-air and took off, flying behind the Ultra Beast and gathering his electricity for a powerful Bolt Strike, hitting the Ultra Beast's head. He then took off, confident that he had its attention.

The Ultra Beast, having been hurt from the attack, took off with its wings to chase him down. The Ideal One landed on top of the orphanage main building, waiting for the Ultra Beast to take the bait. As it flew down, its arms poised for a powerful strike, The Ideal One leapt away, watching as it crashed through the ceiling and landed, rubble crashing down on it. The Ideal One flew in once it hit, aiming multiple strikes all over its body.

Luke could not sit idly by while the beloved orphanage he lived at for all his life was being destroyed. He ran into the main building, looking for whatever he could use as a weapon. He found a heavy glass jug from the kitchen and ran back to where the fight was taking place, watching as it moved towards the main gym.

Luke didn't bother waiting for an opportunity to strike. He simply ran forward and threw the glass jar at the Ultra Beast face, the glass exploding on impact and sending jagged shards flying into one of its exposed areas. Sprinting to the weight room, he was launched forward as the ground behind him exploded, the Ultra Beast slamming an arm into the floor.

He got to his feet and kept running, making his way to the weight room. To his surprise, he found the door locked, not budging at all as he tried to open it by force.

More surprising however, was when the door opened, the scared face of a fourteen-year-old girl looking up at him.

The girl looked outside, seeing the Ultra Beast . Her eyes widened in fear as she stepped to the side, beckoning Luke inside. "Hurry!"

As she pulled Luke inside, he looked around and noticed around ten other people hole up in the room. Some of them were as little as five, all silent and subdued at the destruction going on just outside the room.

"Why haven't you guys evacuated?" asked Luke, looking around.

"We tried to," explained the girl. "But we heard loud explosions coming from the medical wing, so we followed the lockdown procedure and stayed here. Maybe we should've risked it, but now all we can do is just sit here and pray."

Luke shook his head, heading over to a dumbbell cart. "Nuh uh, that's thing is going to go."

"Are you insane?" asked the girl, yanking him backwards. "That thing could kill you with a sneeze! What are you trying to prove here?"

"I don't care how strong that armored guy is, he's not going to make it on his own. I know I can't do much, but I have to help."

"Why exactly?"

"Because if no one else is going to do it, I will. This place is important to me, you guys are important to me, even if I don't exactly know you. We're screwed whether we stay here or not, I might as well try and do something."

The girl looked at him, completely unconvinced. "I don't know you, and it's not my life. Just keep it away from this place. I'll make sure to tell stories about how you died bravely."

"I'll take that as you believing in me."

Without another word, he rolled the cart out of the weight room, back to the scene of the battle.

Luke realized with a sense of dread that The Ideal One was currently knocked to the ground, his armor cracked down the middle. Yet, the man didn't seem to falter, electricity still coursing through his body despite his injuries. This man truly believed in his cause, so why should Luke?

With a new resolve, he hefted a forty kilogram dumbbell into two hands, running forward and throwing it as hard as he could. The dumbbell hit the Ultra Beast in the leg, causing it to turn around and face Luke.

Unfortunately for Luke, his forty kilogram attack required him to get close. Despite that, he grabbed another dumbbell and threw it, grabbing another and jumping backwards as the Ultra Beast raised a fist to strike.

He threw another dumbbell and fell backwards as the floor erupted beneath him, getting thrown several meters into the air. This was it, he was going to die. At least he'd been able to give the man some time. Even though the man was most likely evil, he may be the only one capable of taking this thing down.

Suddenly, there was a flash of electricity as a cage of lightning surrounded the Ultra Beast, shocking it multiple times before it broke free. In the same instance, something caught Luke mid-flight and set him on the ground.

As his eyes refocused, Luke found himself staring into a being made from pure electricity. It appeared to have multiple little red eyes, all x of them glowing.

Luke of no name, you require my power.

Luke was surprised this apparent Pokémon was speaking to him. "Me?"

Yes. I see into your heart, you are of a wild and impulsive nature. Yet, this seemingly detrimental behavior can be of much benefit. While others remain still and fearful, you are pushed to act. Not only do you act, but you act in accordance with what is right, no matter how conflicting it may be to your nature of survival. I deem you worthy, Luke of no name, you shall receive my power, so you may turn the hand of fate and fight against an evil destiny.

Luke shook his head. "You've got one thing wrong. I'm not Luke of no name. I'm Luke Alistar."

I see. You truly believe in your values, I commend you. I am Regieleki, one of the Legendary Guardians and one of the titans under the command of Regigigas. This world needs you to fight against a darkness, one that has long since arrived. I hereby name you one of the Chosen, my personal champion.

Luke was surrounded with a powerful glow, one that seemed to light every atom in his being on fire. He felt a connection growing between him and Regieleki, a power awakening within him.

When the light faded, Luke found himself surrounded by electricity, an aura awakening within him.

I mustn't tarry no longer. My only mission was to provide aid in the fight against one of the Ultra Beasts. More aid is coming, for this is a fight you cannot defeat alone. However, you can protect that which is important to you with my power. As for the future, that is yours to decide.

And with another flash of lightning, Regieleki was gone.

Luke had no time to reflect on how cool this was. Springing into action, he ran at the Ultra Beast, leaping into the air feet first. However, he largely underestimated his speed and flew into a wall, electricity trailing around him.

He got to his feet and dashed forward, racing around the Ultra Beast as a bolt of electricity, confusing the Ultra Beast as it tried to land a hit on him. In this confusion, it didn't notice The Ideal One flying towards its head, landing a powerful Bolt Strike as an explosion of electricity enveloped it.

Using this opportunity, Luke exploded forward, racing up The Ultra Beast's legs. He launched a barrage of electrified punches at its midsection, landing well over a hundred before it recovered and threw him upwards.

Before it could follow up on its attack, The Ideal One grabbed Luke in mid-air, dropping him to the ground away from the attack.

"Loathe as I am to work with you, this Ultra Beast must be subdued. Killing you would only serve as a detriment to my mission."

Luke laughed. "Same goes for you, minus the killing part."

The Ideal One didn't return the laugh. "Physical attacks are useless on your part. You were Chosen by Regieleki, focus more on ranged ones."

"Right, how do I do that?"

The Ideal One sighed. "Just keep it busy."

Luke nodded, electricity surrounding his body as he dashed forward. He ran circles around the Ultra Beast, darting back and forth as he landed multiple strikes on its legs.

While it was focused on Luke, The Ideal One flew in from behind, his leg charged with electricity as he landed a kick on the back of its head, causing it to stumble forward.

The Ultra Beast made an angry buzzing sound, its muscles flexing as its aura exploded, knocking Luke and The Ideal One backwards. In a fit of rage, it slammed its fists on the floor, smashing through it and sending shockwaves throughout the building foundation.

Luke struggled to his feet, his adrenaline long spent. Since The Ideal One appeared, he'd been getting beaten around, barely holding on. Now, he had no more stamina, his legs feeling as if they were stuck in sludge.

Before the building could collapse however, a layer of ice filled the entire gym, freezing over the Ultra Beast's arms and legs and preventing further damage from happening.

Luke looked up in surprise, seeing a new figure standing there. She was a girl with a light blue ponytail, wearing what appeared to be a school uniform. Behind her was a young man with a yellow shirt with white stripes on the side, as well as a white head band and black sweatpants.

"Would you look at who it is," said The Ideal One, getting to one knee. "The man and girl who escaped from me."

"I didn't expect we'd see each other so soon," said Kai, his voice steady and calm. "I'm suspecting the appearance of an Ultra Beast was your doing."

Luke could easily see that there was some negative history between The Ideal One and the two newcomers. "There's no time to argue, they're people still trapped in the building."

"I-I'll minimize damage," said Cyan, frost beginning to develop on her body. "St-"

The Ultra Beast gave another buzz as it broke free, ripping a chunk of concrete floor and throwing it at Cyan.

Kai ran forward, blasting through the concrete with a Wicked Blow. He reached the Ultra Beast and launched a series of Surging Strikes before leaping away from a powerful attack.

The moment Kai was out of the way, frost exploded behind Cyan, the air itself freezing as she sent the icicles flying at the Ultra Beast. It blocked the attack with its arms, ice shards flying everywhere.

Cyan's eyes began to glow as she snapped her fingers. The ice particles floating in the air expanded and attached to the Ultra Beast, freezing its body in multiple places. From there, the ice covered its body, turning it into a frozen statue.

Kai went to Cyan, checking on her as she shivered, crouching on the ground as she rubbed her shoulders.

"I-I'm f-f-ine. C-check on the kid."

Kai nodded, running towards the kid. Whipping around, he raised his arms as he blocked a flying kick from The Ideal One, sending him skidding across the ground.

From there, The Ideal One grabbed Luke and reversed his direction and flew into the Ultra Beast, surrounding himself with electricity as he plowed into it. All the consecutive attacks it had taken proved too much for it, its aura fading as its strength reverted to normal.

The Ideal One produced a pokéball from his armor. This pokéball appeared to be made from dark magic crystals, four blue bands stretching from its button to the back of the ball. He threw it at the Ultra Beast, purple light surrounding it as it was forcefully pulled into the ball.

The ball shrunk and flew back to him, reattaching itself to The Ideal One's armor. He landed on the ground, holding Luke in one hand.

"Stand down, Chosen, or the kid dies."

Neither Kai nor Cyan moved. Cyan was slow to react to the situation, canceling her powers as The Ideal One stared at her. Kai was on his feet, fists raised.

"How do we know you'll keep your word," said Kai.

"You could trust me, or I could kill the kid and escape."

"A-As i-if we'll let you."

"What will you do, freeze me in place? Remember, I'm holding a captive."

"Are you?" asked Luke.

Suddenly, his body flashed with electricity as he used Thunder Cage, wrapping both of them in electricity. The Ideal One dropped Luke as electricity flooded through his armor, overloading it and causing several parts of it to explode, knocking him back many meters and eviscerating his cloak.

The Ideal One tried rising to his feet, but fell back down, holding himself up on one knee. The pokéball laid halfway between him and Luke, who was currently unconscious.

With his cloak gone and masked damaged, he appeared to be close to his middle age, with wavy dark gray hair. The portion of the mask that had broken off revealed part of a large scar across his face.

"Don't move," said Kai, walking forward. "You've lost."

Before he could get any further, a figure appeared in front of him. He had pure silver hair and glowing lavender eyes, a black prism mask covering half on his face. He wore a black suit and a black fedora, posed dramatically in front of Kai.

With a smirk, he placed a hand on the pokéball. "You don't move, you-"

A torrent of ice surged forward, surrounding Andras and freezing him in place. Raising an eyebrow, he teleported out of the ice, shaking off some stray fragments.

"That was quite rude of you, attacking a man while he's not ready. Yet you call yourselves heroes."

Kai lunged forward, his fists a blur as he used Surging Strikes. Andras blocked the blows and teleported next to The Ideal One, teleporting them both to the front of the gym remains.

"Farewell Chosen, may we meet again."

Suddenly, they were gone. Leaving a troubled Kai, nearly hypothermic Cyan, and an unconscious and sparking Luke in the destroyed gym.

Andras dropped The Ideal One in the private medical wing of the Gloom Organization base, examining the pokéball he'd recovered.

"So, this contains an Ultra Beast, a monster of a Pokémon fabled in old legends. Splendid job Zek, this is why I can always count on you."

Zek scoffed, disengaging his armor. "I don't need praise from you. I'm surprised you decided to only come at the end of the fight and leave soon after. Aren't you always spoiling for a fight?"

"If I intervened, Selena would have my head, and my will if she tried. Besides, I figured you were more than capable of handling it. The Consumer will be pleased."

Zek looked away. "I let one of the Chosen live. I should've ended him before he was Chosen in the first place."

Andras shook his head. "Capturing the Ultra Beast was of higher priority. You did well."

Zek nodded, lying back onto the bed. Andras quietly left the room, leaving him to recover.

As he walked down one of the hallways, a frantic looking agent in a white lab coat ran up to him, holding a tablet.

"Sir! Master Andras!"

"What is it?" asked Andras, sounding somewhat annoyed.

"Sorry to disturb you, but I have dire news! One of our laboratories in the Outlands was discovered and attacked! All fifteen cores we had housed there were stolen!"

"Who did it?" asked Andras, his voice low.

"It was an organized attack by Pokémon! We don't know how they discovered this, or why they cooperated like this. Our forces stationed at the laboratory were quickly overwhelmed. According to some scouting drones, they're headed south towards the city section. What should we do?"

Andras paused, considering for a moment. "Leave them."

"What?"

"Leave them. A full-scale invasion from an army of organized Pokémon will keep the Chosen busy. Not only that, but it will draw out the Legendaries as well. From there, we can complete one of our main objectives, picking up the pieces and painting the Gloom Organization as heroes once more."

"Of course, sir! A brilliant plan! One more thing, we've recently picked up signs of an Ultra Wormhole in the now abandoned Luster City. It was strange to say the least. The energy readings from it were unstable, and they flickered out soon after."

"Perhaps it has to do with Celica, or it could be something else. It may be worth checking out. Anything else?"

"No sir. Have a good day, Master Andras."

Andras nodded, turning to walk away. Lots of things were changing, many in their favor. Once they amassed enough power, no one would be able to stand in their way. Not the Chosen, not the Legendary Guardians, no one.
