Chapter 16 Night of Fire
Ant-man stood on top of a rooftop overlooking the city that was currently flickering on and off, "Benta, talk to me what's going on?" he said into his communicator.
"It's Rad Volt!" yelled Benta followed by a flurry of typing, "He just hit one of the power terminals."
"Just one?"
"Yes but he's sending a strange volt of electricity through the power grid, check your phone." Izuku looked at his phone as Benta showed him the satellite images of Japan as he saw the city flickering begin to spread, "At this rate he'll shut down the power to central Japan."
"Worse with his quirk he can make the damage almost un repairable." said Izuku as he realized the dangers of the situation. "What Heroes are close by?"
"You." said Benta.
"What?"
"This was set up." yelled Sarah, "All the other heroes were called out of town."
"There were several robberies all reported away from the power station," said Hanah as she and her sister looked at the news. "It looks like all the big heroes were lured away."
"Great, I'm on my way," yelled Izuku as he shrunk down and landed on a flying ant, riding towards Rad Volt. "How long do I have?"
"Um I'm not a hundred percent familiar with our power grid but," Benta quickly went through some calculations. "I'd say you have about fifteen minutes before the damage becomes too great."
"Got it."
"Why the hell is he even doing this," Asked Kenta, "What the hell does he get out of this?"
"He's probably hired to do so," Said Genta, "With all the heroes being too far away and the power going out, who knows what kind of crime can happen."
"He's right," said Izuku. "Rad Volt is doing this for someone else and it looks like I got to stop him."

On the other side of the city All Might was in the middle of a fight in the open streets, which is no problem for the hero, the real problem was the hostages that were tied up to a traffic light. 'Shit,' Thought All Might as he stared down the small group of villains that were surrounding a group of tied up hostages, 'These villains are pushovers but their too close to the hostages for me to take them all out in one blow, I have to play this smart but I'm running out of time,' The sudden flickering of lights was also something he was worried about, 'I know a trap when I see one, but for the first time in a long time, this doesn't feel like it's for me.'
All Might was brought out of his thoughts when he heard the motor sound of a motorcycle. "Who the hell is that?" asked a Goon.
All Might looked over at the motorcycle, 'So that's not one of theirs, then who is- what I know that bike!' as All Might eyes went wide as he saw the rider was a woman. "No way."
The woman on the bike pressed a button on her cycle before jumping up on the bike and using as a springboard jumping into the air doing several flips before landing on the villain in front of the hostages, "Get down."
"Wha?" spurted out one of the hostages before their bonds were suddenly cut.
The woman then grabbed the hostages and pulled them down, "NOW!"
"Yes Ma'am!" said All Might as he quickly dashed forward, punching the criminals taking each of them out. He double checked and made sure they were all down before turning to the hostages and the woman, "Is everyone alright?"
"Yeah don't worry, they're fine," said the woman as she stood up and began to walk to her bike.
Before All Might could speak to her the other civilians came to thank him, "Thank you so much for saving us All Might, if it wasn't for you and the lady, we'd be goners."
"Yes yes, but don't worry we'll-"
"HEY!" they all turned to the woman who got back to her bike, "Sign autograph later we got to go, unless you're going to tell me that this light show is normal."
All Might gently pushed aside the civilians, "I'm afraid not, but what are you doing here in Japan?"
"I'm looking for one of my brats," as she got back on her motorcycle, "You know the one."
"I do?" asked All Might with a bit of dread in his voice, the woman nodded, "oh...oh no.." As All Might started to sweat, "You know I don't think I'm uhhh the right person for this." The woman turned her head to All Might and even though he couldn't see her eyes he could feel her glare. "Okay, I'm coming, but don't blame me if things get worse with me tagging along."
"That's why I called my brother," said the woman as she revered her bike once before driving off. "Come on."
"Your brother!" yelped All Might as he realized he was about to be dragged into a family issue. "This is going to be a long night." as he ran after the woman on the bike.

Antman regrew to regular size as he dropped down in front of the power station, "Rad Volt!" he yelled getting the villains attention, "If you wanted a light show, I would suggest going to a rave."
Rad Volt smiled under his mask, "Why would I need to go anywhere when were about to have a party right here."
Izuku got into a loose fighting stance as he started bouncing a little on his feet, "Alright Rad Volts, I kicked your ass once and I'll do it again. Let's dance."
"You're mistaken this won't just be a tango for two." said Rad Volt.
"Uh oh." said Antman as he then heard a massive thud behind him to see Flame Elephant. "Shit."
"You have no idea how much shit you are in this time, Antman." said Flame Elephant as a bit of fire came out of his nose, "We are going to squish you like the bug you are."
"It's time you learn what happens to those who try to play hero in these parts." Antman turned around to see The Walking Shadow stepping out of the ground with two pistols pointed at Antman.
Antman looked around at the three villains, "Well this is a fun little reunion, three on one, not the best odds but I'm more than willing to give it a shot."
"Count again." said a voice.
Antman was about to turn in the direction of the voice when a playing card landed at his feet and saw a digital countdown on the card. He quickly shrunk down and quickly tried to fly on an ant away but the exploding card caused him to fall off of his ant, he fell to the ground still small and quickly looked up to see a familiar man walking towards him. "Timebomb."
Timebomb looked around, not clearly able to see where he was on the ground but he did hear him call his name. "Hello Antman, let's cut to the chase, grow back to normal size and let's get this over with."
'Yeah right, like hell I'm going to do that.' Thought Izuku, 'This was a trap for me, so I better get out of here while I can but I should at least do something about Rad Volt so he doesn't attack our electrical system again.' as he hopped on a flying Antman and rode towards Rad Volts.
Timebomb could tell by the silence he was up to something, "Camo, you're up."
Camo who was standing on top of a nearby building looked down at the group, she took a deep breath and noticed the tiny man, "I have his heat signature." Her right hand ignited as she threw out an energy blast that curved in the air.
Izuku had just enough time to look up and see the energy blast before it burst like a firework in a dozen sparks of light sending him flying, this time forcing him to return to his full size. 'Shit a sniper,' as he looked up and saw Camo on the rooftop, 'How did she see me from way up there?'
Izuku didn't have time to think as both Flame Elephant and Rad Volts fired their quirk at him. Izuku quickly threw an enlargement disc down on a rock making it as large as a car to shield him from the attacks. "Don't let up, kill him." Yelled Timebomb.
"Holy fuck this is bad." said Izuku as he felt the heat of the lightning and the flames melting the rock. "Shit this real bad," he then saw in the corner of his eye another one of Camo's exploding fast ball coming right, "Oh come on." as he quickly divide and shrunk away from the explosion.

"OH SHIT!" yelled Kenta as he and the others watched the fight from the Ant-hill.
"Izuku!" yelled Sarah and Hanah.
"Yo Benta, how long until back up gets there?" asked Genta worried.
"Uh give me a moment," as he started typing on his computer.
"He don't got time," said Kenta as he walked over to a locker in the garage and pulled out a baseball, "Genta, come on, you and me are going to go and get him out of there, Benta use your computer stuff call the heroes, your girlfriend, whoever you think might be able to help." He then turned to Sarah and Hanah, "You two help him."
"Wait." shouted Hanah.
"We want to go with you." said Sarah.
Kenta threw his keys at Benta, "No, we're grabbing Izuku and bringing him right back here, we ain't duking it out with anyone, so in the meantime cover for Izuku if his mom calls and help Benta." he said as he and Genta ran to his car. "Not to mention I'm sure Izuku would kill us if anything happened to you two."
"Wait," Yelled Benta, "Shouldn't you guys take the other car?"
"No way, it ain't ready yet," Yelled Genta as he got into the driver seat of the car, "We'll be right back." Before gunning the car out of the garage.

Camo looked down at the destruction she just made, not seeing Antman or his remains anywhere, "I've lost sight of the target, how about you Lilith?" she asked over her coms.
Not too far away on another building were her squad mates. "Sorry boss, you made too much heat, I can sense his heat signature."
"Kazuri?"
The woman sniffed the air, "The scent is weak but I have him, he's heading north through the alley."
"I got him." shouted Julie as she ran across the roofs before jumping right over the alley and forming an energy ball in her hand and throwing it right down.
Izuku looked up and saw the girl throwing the ball, "Protect me." he told his ants as the flying swarm made a ball around Izuku before the energy ball exploded into several sparkling fireworks sending the small ant ball flying down the alleyway. 'How did they find me?' He then remembered the first woman he saw on the roof, what that woman was different than the girl just now but they both just used the same quirk, how?' before he could think about it any further he saw as the alleyway was suddenly filled with a stream of flame the began to move around his ball of ants like a snake. "What now?"
The flame then lifted the ball of ants into the sky to the roof of the buildings until the ball was eye level with a woman with fiery red hair wearing a camo vest. "Why hello there Antman, you are in their right, underneath all those weird ants."
"Yeah, I am so, would you mind turning down the heat?" asked Izuku as his brain quickened as he tried to think of his next move, before her flames toasted him.
"Oh no can do, sweetie," said Lilith, "But you have the honor of being killed by the A-force's Phoenix."
"Well then let me probably introduce myself properly, my name is ANT-MAN!" yelled Izuku as he took several of his enlargement discs and slammed them down on his ants growing them.
In a split second Lilith was face to face with several large ants and screamed like a little girl as she fell back as the ants landed on the roof in front of her. "Not so tough when coming face to face with a giant ant." he said as he regrew on top of the lead ant. "Now let's see how well you fare against a giant fire ant miss Phoenix." Before he could give any orders Kazuri jumped between them before growling at him. "Are you...growling at me?" asked Antman, now off put by the sudden savage girl but noticed she was also wearing a camo patterned coat as the others.
Kazuri then pounced at Antman, quickly hopping over his giant ants and doing a flip in the air with the grace of a gymnast, trying to land right on him.
Antman quickly shrunk down as the girl landed on him, using his small body but regular sized strength to grab her coat and throw her off his ant, "Ha, take that bitch," it was then that he realized he just threw over the edge and off the roof. "Oh Shit!"
Kazuri didn't try anything to catch herself or to soften her fall as she fell to the hard concrete floor below, breaking several bones causing her limbs to bend in every unnatural way possible.
"I...I Killed her." said Antman with a bit of dread in his voice, he may not have been a true hero like everyone else but he still didn't really like the idea of killing.
"Please, that bitch is too stubborn to die." Antman looked in time to see Lilith creating a wall of fire, keeping him on the corner of the roof. "Well, you dumbasses going to do anything?"
As if on cue several attacks struck his corner of the roof causing it to crumble underneath him. "Oh crap, time to go!" as Izuku shrunk him and his ants down to size as he called his winged ants to catch him, "Alright now time to make my getaway." As the ant then began to fly down the alleyway away from the villains, Izuku then heard a grunting noise as he turned around and saw the same girl that fell down and broke everyone of her bones, "YOU'RE ALIVE!"
The girl responded by clapping her hands together, trying to catch Antman but was just out of reach but the sudden and close gust of wind caused him to fall. Since he was small the fall didn't really hurt Izuku much, but he heard a distinctive "Ow." he looked over to see the girl landed wrong and now her bone in her arm was now sticking out of her arm and through her camo jacket. She stood up, grabbed her arm and with a small grunt shoved the bone back into place as her skin healed over her wound.
"Oh so that's how you're alive, you got super regeneration." said Izuku as he stood up and dusted himself off slightly. "That's super cool and super lucky, I thought I killed you for a moment."
"I'll make sure you're dead by the end of tonight." she said as she gave him a death glare.
"Noted."
"Kazuri down!" yelled Camo, Kazuri hit the ground as she launched a bolt of lightning at Antman, attempting to blast the area.
Izuku jumped and reverted back to his full size as the blast pushed him out of the alley and rolled into an empty street. He looked up at the night sky breathing heavily, "I am really getting tired of all you jackasses trying to blast me."
"Then hold still," said Camo, who was floating above him.
At this point Izuku wasn't surprised, "Okay now I know you have some sort of bullshit quirk. What is it?" as he sat up holding a disc in a closed fist, 'The second she lifts her arm to attack, I'll shrink her.'
"You won't live to find out." Stated Camo as she lifted her arm.
Izuku was about to quick throw the disc when he saw a figure on the roof behind Camo, it jumped in the air and Izuku saw the glint of metal come out of the figures fist as he came down, landing right on Camo while simultaneously stabbing her with their metal claws. "HOLY SHIT!" yelled Izuku as he got to his feet and took step back as he looked at the man standing on the woman, he saw the dark yellow costume and thought he was dreaming, "No way...no fucking way!"
The man stood up tall as Timebomb and the other villains showed up and looked at the man, "Oh you have got to be kidding me! WOLVERINE!" yelled Timebomb as he and the others looked upon the costume of the legendary hero.
"That's not Wolverine," said Kazuri angrily as she stepped forward. "What are you doing here?"
The man in the wolverine costume locked eyes with Kazuri and gave her a big smile, "Kazuri, it's been too long, how about you come over here and give your uncle a big hug." as he stepped off Camo with wide open arms.
Everyone's eyes shifted to Kazuri who continued to glare daggers at her 'uncle'. "Let me repeat myself, what are you doing here, Daken?"
The man's smile turned to frown as he looked at Kazuri, "Seriously, well for one I live here, Japan is my home country but that aside what happened to that cute little girl that would run into my arms yelling for her dear uncle?"
A massive tic mark appeared on Kazuri's head, "She grew up, now what do you want?"
"Well originally I heard that my niece was causing trouble in my country and I thought I should come by and say hello but now I see you guys bullying my new favorite hero and well I can't just let that happen, not to mention your mother has been looking for you."
"She can go fuck off for all I care, same goes for you, now get out of our way, we have a job to do."
"Ah yes your job," said Daken as he turned to the fallen Camo, "Are you going to lay there all day or are you going to get up, your ability is to copy anyone's abilities that's on your team right...team leader."
Camo's eyes shot open, she rolled over and shot a massive fireball at the man, he didn't even move an inch as he got roasted, for a second Izuku and a few others thought he was dead, but as the smoke cleared revealed the man still standing with his costume burnt and all of his wounds quickly healing. Camo gave a sigh of defeat as she stood up and dusted herself off, "So you're the dark Wolverine, son of the first wolverine."
"Ah someone's done their homework," said Daken as he turned to Kazuri, "Or by chance did you tell her, if so I hope it was the good parts."
Kazuri rolled her eyes, "Just get out of the way uncle."
"No can do young lady," said Daken getting as he pointed at her, "You're grounded and you're going home with-" 'KABOOM' He wasn't able to finish as he got hit by one of Timebomb's cards.
"KILL ANT-MAN NOW!" yelled Timebomb as the villains rushed past Daken and went straight for Izuku.
"Oh shit," yelped Izuku as he saw all the villains aiming for him.
"Have no fear," came a mighty voice as All Might appeared and punched both Flame Elephant and Rad Volt with one punch. "For I am here!"
"ALL MIGHT!" yelled the villains and Izuku as they saw the man appear.
'No, we can't kill Ant-man like this,' Thought Timebomb, "Walking Shadow, kill him now!"
Ant-man turned around to see the Shadow man coming up from behind with two barrels pointing at him. "I have you now."
Suddenly the two guns in his hands were sliced into pieces, as a woman suddenly appeared next to the shadow man, placing her fist on the man's shoulder, "I wouldn't try that if I were you." she said as she used her other hand to take off her biker helmet.
Izuku saw her features and then turned to Kazuri as he saw the similarities, "Wait your..."
"Mom!" seethed Kazuri, if looks could kill she would have killed her mother several times over. "What the fuck are you doing here?"
"Hey Laura," waved Daken, "I found Kazuri."
Laura smiled, "Thank you Akihiro." she said before kicking the Walking Shadow so hard he was out cold before he hit the ground, "Now then Kazuri, you are coming home right now young lady."
"Excuse me," Kazuri said In disbelief, "I am a grown ass woman, you can't tell me what to do."
"I am your mother, Kazuri, I have full right to tell you what to do, especially when you're acting like a little shit." yelled Laura.
"Now, now," said All Might as he stood between the mother and daughter while also holding both Flame Elephant and Rad Volts who were struggling in a choke hold under his arms, "Let's not fight here."
"You're not my boyfriend anymore, you can't tell me shit." said Kazuri her words causing everyone to freeze, even Rad Volts and Flame Elephant stop struggling as they looked up at the number one hero.
"Wait," Izuku looked between the two while pointing his fingers. "You two DATED!"
All Might suddenly panicked, "It was back in college, when I was studying back in America."
"What but that was like twenty five to thirty years ago," said Izuku as he remembered the history of All Might, he then also realized that Kazuri had a regeneration quirk, "How old are you?"
Kazuri's face went tomato red as she tried to look away, "Eighteen."
"Bullshit." called out Laura, "I had you ages ago."
"SHUT UP MOM!"
Ant-man looked at All Might for answers, "Yeah, she's kind of sensitive about her age, it's actually part of the reason we broke up, I was uncomfortable dating someone who was over-"
"SHUT UP! yelled Kazuri whose face was still red.
"Oh sweetie, you need to learn to relax," said Daken, "Once you get to over a hundred years old you learn not to care about such things." Laura nodded in agreement, "Look we all might be fighting right now but let's just end it now, trust me it doesn't really work out for in-fighting in our family, I wasted a lot of time hating father and it really got me nowhere. Do you really want to waste your years hating your mother?"
Kazuri didn't say a word and just kept glaring at her family until she reached into her jacket and brought two sets of claws and put them on her fist.
"Fine I guess we're doing this." said Laura as two metal claws extended from her knuckles.
Daken sighed as he raised his hand causing two claws to come out of the top of his knuckles and one from below each of his palms, "I guess we're doing this."
"Nope." said Timebomb as he had his hands on the floor as several 2s appeared circling the heroes.
As the family was talking All Might loosened his grip, the second they saw the numbers both Flame Elephant and Rad volt pulled themselves free and jumped to safety.
The encircling explosions were small and Izuku knew that meant it was supposed to be the man attack and as expected he saw right in the middle of the circle was a large 1. 'No time to ask,' he thought as he threw the shrinking discs at the heroes before the explosion went off.
All of the villains looked at the smoke for a moment as they tried to see if the heroes were still alive, "Time to move," yelled Timebomb as he started running, "Flame Elephant grab Walking Shadow, let's move people."
They soon followed him down the street, "Why?" asked Kazuri with anger in her voice.
"You're shitting me right?" asked Timebomb, "We are hired to kill Ant-man and I seriously doubt we can do that if we're fighting All Might and TWO Wolverines, we'll just have to go back to our other plan so we won't have to deal with your family, speaking of which what the FUCK!?"
"It's my business, one that I will end," said Kazuri as she pointed a claw at Timebomb, "Get in my way again and I'll-"
"Kazuri stop," ordered Camo, "He's right our mission comes first, personal vendettas later."
"Fine." Huffed Kazuri as she put away her claws.
As they ran Rad Volts asked the question, "Wait, so how old are you?" What resulted next reinforced the statement of never asking a woman her age.

Back at the abandoned street a small mound of ants opened up revealing the four heroes inside, "Is everyone okay?" asked Ant-Man.
"We're so tiny!" said Daken as he looked around amazed at how things looked on the smaller side.
"I'm fine but this is weird." said All Might as he looked around small, "I'm used to being one of or the biggest guy in the room, so this is new, but that aside thank you Ant-man and thank you brave ants for the protection."
Laura had a different reaction, "You damn brat," she seethed as she grabbed Ant-man by his suit, "Do you have any idea how long I've been trying to find my daughter and I finally had her right in front of me."
"Uh Ma'am how about you calm down for a moment," suggested All Might, causing Laura's look of rage towards him making him shake a little, "Wow that's a scary look."
Daken stepped forward a put a hand on his sister's shoulder, "Sis how about you let him go, so that we can at least get back to normal size." Laura gave a huff before dropping Ant-man, "Sorry about that buddy," as he helped Izuku, "My sister is just having some issues with her kid, you'll understand when you become a parent."
Izuku looked at Laura, "Yeah, sure thing." he said as he got out the enlarging discs, 'God I hope I don't have issues like this with my kids.' He then threw them at the heroes enlarging them all back to their regular size.
They all checked as they were returned to normal size, "Thanks ki- huh?" they all looked around and saw that Ant-man wasn't there.
"What, where'd he go?" asked All Might as he looked around not seeing Ant-Man, "WAIT ANT-MAN COME BACK I NEED TO TALK TO YOU?" he yelled but got no response.
"Toshi, that's not going to work," said Daken, "He's long gone."
"Why would he do that?" asked Laura, "Isn't he a hero?"
Daken shook his head, "Not exactly."
"Well in any case we'll most likely see him again, Kazuri's after him, meaning she might stick around her long enough for me to knock some sense into her."
"Are you sure that's the best idea, you could just talk to her." pointed out Daken.
"That's rich coming from you, Akihiro."
"Okay so I tried to kill dad a few times, it was a long time ago."
"Uhhhh?" they both turned to All Might who was looking at them with a deadpan stare, "You guys...your family has issues."
"We know." said both siblings as they truly knew how crazy their family was.

Ant-Man walked out of an alleyway panting hard as a familiar car came by. "Hey guys."
Kenta stuck his head out of the window, "Hey you alright, you kind of look like shit."
Izuku opened the back door and plopped down in the back seat, "I feel like shit," as he took off his helmet and held it out for Kenta, "Mind holding this for a moment."
"Sure thing man," as Kenta held the helmet before telling Genta, "Drive us back to the Ant Hill."
Izuku then noticed the bat in the front next to Kenta's legs, "Did you guys come to help me out?"
"Of course man." said Genta, "We were watching through the Ant-cams and saw you were outnumbered."
"We knew we had to get you out, luckily backup arrived, by the way who was that guy in the Wolverine outfit?" asked Kenta.
Izuku smiled at his friends, he knew they were crazy but happy they were crazy enough to help him, "If I got the context right, that was the son of Wolverine," he said answering Kenta's question as he took his gloves off, "I kind of wish he'd actually killed those bitches in camo ahh-" groaned Izuku in pain.
"Yo Izuku do you need to be taken to hospital or something?"
"Nah I'm good, thanks though. Those a-holes really tossed me around with those explosions and fire, I'm going to need to repair my suit and take a nap."
"Don't worry man, I'll help out with the suit, I might not know how to fix all the tech stuff, but I should be able to clean all the burn marks off." offered Kenta.
"That would be nice, thanks man." said Izuku as he started feeling the aches and pains from the fight as his adrenaline started to die down, 'I'm going to need to come up with something to deal with a big group like that, especially when they have someone that can track me when I'm small, I've never been pushed that much on the defensive before, I didn't really even get a chance to fight back...I guess I could have just made my ants bigger as a distraction but they wouldn't last long against quirks like that, not even the elemental ones...wait a minute...' Izuku looked down at his hands, "Bigger?"
