Chapter 941: B. Lewis Easter Sunday time.
(April 20. B. Lewis Residence, Olive Street. Royal Woods, Michigan.)
Lincoln leaves his bedroom, and he reaches downstairs, and then out of the house. He sees his big sister, and two moms are waiting outside. "Ready to go everyone." They see the bird Pokémon of Michelle are also waiting, and they will be the ones keeping an eye on them should the Assassin bother to show up.
Luna goes over and she hugs her brother. "Alright, time to go and enjoy some nice Easter Sunday time."
Michelle and Amanda nod, and so they all go inside of Luna's car this time, and they drive off. Metagross also follows them along with the five bird Pokémon, leaving only Pidgeot and Serperior back at the house to watch over everything else.
(Somewhere else in Royal Woods.)
The car of Luna stops and then parks right in front of St. Herald's Church. The B. Lewis family come out, and they look to the church and marvel at it's amazing architecture, since this is the first church and one of the oldest buildings within their town.
They then see the statue of our savior Jesus Christ, and they touch his feet, and they go inside and see there are some folks already here. They light some candles, and then take their seat at the pews and listen as the sermon of Easter Sunday has begun, with Father Roland also telling the tale of Jesus Christ.
Lincoln smiles, and likes being here. Deep down, it feels normal and peaceful and rejuvenating. 'Maybe we can attend church every once in a while. It seems… Kinda nice here, I like it.' They're Pokémon are at the open windows and listening on this, and Metagross sneaks in through the doors and stands behind the pews.
(Later.)
After a nice time at church, they went to the mall but only for a short while to do some window shopping, and nothing more. They did on the other hand bought some breakfast sandwiches and now they're here in Tall Timbers Park, and enjoying the big Easter Egg Hunt.
They can see that the one who has hidden the Easter Eggs, for this year there are two Easter Bunnies, and the gals are Leslie Silver and Stella Zhau, both dressed as cute bunny rabbit girls, with frilly skirts and rabbit ears. Even their Pokémon are dressed, with rabbit ears… Is this weird?
The B. Lewis' chuckle seeing all of this happen, and the children around the Park are enjoying the big Easter egg hunt, and Becca Chang is by the trees, and keeping a close eye on things, to make sure the kids don't accidentally grab something that is not an Easter Egg.
The twins are having fun doing this, and same with Darcy, Lisa and Lily. They're Pokémon are not allowed to help with the Easter Egg hunt, because that would be cheating.
"This feels so much better, a calm and peaceful and fun moment here" replied Luna.
"Really does bring back the memories of when I would be part of this Easter Egg hunt" replied Lincoln.
Then Michelle speaks. "Under the bush, three spaces far from us behind the tree. There is one below the bench we're sitting on, there are two hiding in the crab grass. There are some in the bushes at the north east, a few hidden by the water reeds by the Lake, and there is one next to a sleeping Bulbasaur who is part of the trick, and there are several Pokémon who are part of this to make sure the eggs are hidden."
"But the chocolate rabbit is a tough one, or is it hiding somewhere on the back of Grotle? Which explains why he is wandering around while the kids are searching."
They remain silent, and even Leslie and Stella are shocked she knew this. "Wait, wait. How did you know where their hidden?" asked Amanda.
Michelle chuckles and she explains. "For three years, I was the Easter Bunny Girl in my hometown, and I knew where to hide the eggs. Leslie and Stella, I can easily see through the tactics you both would use, and I knew where each and every egg is hidden, and same with the Chocolate Rabbit, am I right?"
Leslie and Stella are baffled and surprised. They all didn't know about this side of Michelle, she seems to be very good at this. "But, I will not tell anyone else where the eggs are, or the Easter Chocolate Rabbit and—What the heck is going on over there?"
They see some kids scramble away from the bushes, and a glowing light is shown, and something walks out from there, and it's an Exegutor. This surprises them.
Exegutor.
Coconut Pokémon. Grass and Psychic Type.
When they work together, Exeggutor's three heads can put out powerful psychic energy. Cloudy days make this Pokémon sluggish. Its cries are very noisy. This is because each of the 3 heads thinks about whatever it likes. Legend has it that on rare occasions, one of its heads will drop off and continue on as an Exeggcute. Evolved from Exeggcute.
Becca also sees this. "Dang it! They must've accidentally bothered a cluster of Exeggcute!"
"And they got ticked off and evolved!" yelled Lincoln. "We have to fend it off and—"
They see Lechonk charge at the Exegutor, but he kicks the little pig away, and this angers Grotle and he charges in, and dodges the incoming psychic blasts from this Pokémon. Grotle uses vine whip, well so does Exegutor and this knocks Grotle away.
But then Lechonk uses, Roll-out and he rolls onto the ground and tries to hit Exegutor, but he knocks Lechonk away and he is caught by Grotle, and the two Pokémon from Leslie and Stella stand fast and defend the scared children.
But then both of them glow, and this means they are now evolving. The light fades, and they see Grotle and Lechonk are gone, and taking their place are, Torterra and Oinkologne.
Torterra.
Continent Pokémon. Grass and Ground Type.
Groups of this Pokémon migrating in search of water have been mistaken for "moving forests." Small Pokémon occasionally gather on its unmoving back to begin building their nests. Some Pokémon are born on a Torterra's back and spend their entire life there. This remarkable, large-bodied Pokémon would serve beautifully as borrowed scenery for a garden, and its strength is peerless. Torterra roams the wilderness in search of clean water. Evolved from Grotle.
Oinkologne.
Hog Pokémon. Normal Type.
This Pokémon sends a flowerlike scent wafting about. Well-developed muscles in its legs allow it to leap more than 16 feet with no trouble at all. This is a meticulous Pokémon that likes to keep things tidy. It shrouds itself in a floral aroma that soothes the Pokémon around it. Evolved from Lechonk. Stella's Oinkologne is female.
This amazes everyone, and now Stella feels bad. 'All this time, he is a she? I feel bad for giving him a baby blue blanket every night, and also having him wear a baseball cap a lot.'
Exegutor is about to charge up Solar Beam, but then Oinkologne uses double team and agility and she charges into the fight, and then tackles Exegutor knocking his solar beam off course and into the sky. Torterra roars, and slams the ground sending a shockwave that causes Exegutor to stumble.
Oinkologne then uses Focus Beam, and then a total shocker, she rolls-out again, and this time hits one of the heads of Exegutor. Then Torterra lifts Exegutor with his vines, and then slams him back onto the ground, and then spins him around and sends Exegutor far away from them.
Everyone is stunned at first, and then the children cheer and are happy, they go over and hug Oinkologne, and Torterra, they are happy to have helped save them from that angry Psychic Coconut Pokémon. Leslie and Stella go over, and are proud of their companions.
Just then, the tree of Torterra, something falls and lands in Lily's basket, and she sees it's the chocolate rabbit, she cheers and runs back to Rita to show her and Marill. Lola and Lana and Lisa are shocked to know it was there the whole time. "And even I did not think it was there" replied Lisa.
Lincoln and the others are still baffled by this, they evolved from defending the children and the whole Easter event. Leslie then looks to Torterra and she realizes. "We're gonna need an even bigger door, because god dang you are big!"
