The mansion was in full swing, preparing for easter. The UHA and UBA dyed eggs for the Easter egg hunt. Aether and Xiangling prepared a big feast for the Easter lunch. And of course, Venti prepared the singers for the Easter springtime celebration. All the little kids from the House of the Hearth waited with bated breath. Kachina, Yaoyao, Qiqi, Klee, Helior, and the many other kids snacked on chocolate bunnies. So yes, everything was hunky-dory in the mansion.

Suddenly, though, little Klee asked Aether, "Mr. Honorary Knight, why do we celebrate Easter?"

"Well, you see, Klee," he said with his profound wisdom, "Easter is a special holiday that exists in other worlds too. We celebrate it to commemorate the day Venti—I mean—Barbatos died and rose from the dead."

Jean and Barbara looked at Aether with mild concern. Klee cocked her head.

"Um… what?"

Aether sat Klee down on his knee in his fatherly way.

"Well, Klee, in other worlds, there's this dude named Jesus. He started a faith called Christianity. In Teyvat, your version of Jesus goes by the name Barbatos. Like Jesus, he died and was resurrected, ascending to Celestia to sit at the right hand of Morax."

Across the room, Zhongli looked at Venti. His eyes said, "What's he talking about now?" Venti just shrugged.

Zhongli cleared his throat. "Traveler. Barbatos and Morax are not co-deities."

"Oh. I see," he said thoughtfully. He examined Klee and said, "My mistake. You see, Morax is actually the equivalent of Buddha. Barbatos is the equivalent of Jesus. They're from different religions. Now, let me explain why Venti—I mean—Barbatos is in fact Jesus."

"Okay, Aether," said Amber gently, "Stop confusing her. You've got to get back to the kitchen."

Aether picked up his apron and rejoined Xiangling at the stove. Klee just sat in the chair, more confused than ever. Amber chuckled indulgently.

"Don't worry," she said, "he's just pulling your leg. Easter's when we celebrate the arrival of spring."

"Oh, okay! Then, Klee will eat a whole lot of chocolate bunnies!"

"That's the spirit," said Amber proudly.
