"Hey, Paimon?" said Mualani between bites of chicken skewer. "There's something I was wondering. The UHA constitution says that Tubby is the godmother to all of Aether's kids. So, what does that make you?"
Paimon gave a smug little smirk. Arms on her hips, she proudly declared.
"Paimon will be Godmother number 1. Tubby will be Godmother number 2."
Mualani cocked her head. "Wait, why is Tubby number 2? She's the president."
"Paimon was here first," said the fairy as a matter of fact. "That's the best friend privilege."
"Really? Is the best friend privilege written down somewhere in the Constitution?"
"W-well, no. But it still applies!"
