Chapter Four
A few weeks past and Claire had a few day left, before she returns to school to finish out her year.
Right now she was putting her plan into action, she came up with a good idea to prank Gordon.
She had asked Brains if there was a function that could make it look like someone painted Gordon's bird. With a little thinking Brains manged to make a function like that, Claire had just made TB4 look like the a bright pink.
She ran upstairs and sat on the sofa next to Virgil, who was going through some new ideas for TB2.
It was all quite till someone screams and everyone heard, Jeff and Scott ran out the office as they thought it was claire Screaming.
Seeing as Claire was sitting on the sofa with Virgil, both Jeff and Scott sigh in relief.
Walking into the living room, Gordon wasn't happy. "Who painted my bird"
Looking confused Scott asked. "What are you talking about"
Gordon explained how he went down to the hanger to do some maintenance on TB4, and he noticed his bird was now the colour of bright pink.
Everyone laughed at the fact that no one painted Gordon's bird. Gordon left to go and see what he could do to make his bird yellow again.
She could help but laugh so much that she fell off the sofa in a fit of giggles.
Raising his eyebrow Jeff asked. "Claire princess do you know who painted Gordon's bird?"
After she stopped laughing Claire replies. "No one painted TB4……. I asked Brains if there was a way to make a function that would make TB4 pink, all Gordon has to do is flip the switch and his bird will be yellow again"
They couldn't help chucking as the prankster of the family, got pranked by the youngest member of the of the family.
Trying to stop chuckling Scott says. "Claire we have go down and see for ourselves"
All four of them went do to the hanger, they see Gordon looking unhappy.
She went inside TB4 and flipped the switch, TB4 changed from bright pink to yellow. As the colour changed back yellow, Gordon fell on his bottom in surprise.
Everyone tried to stifle their laughs, Claire came out and looks to Gordon.
She sighs. "I wouldn't paint TB4…… there is a switch that you can switch, at least you won't have to put up with being bullied or made to do the fitness class"
After that Claire walked off and went to her room, she closed the door and she walked over to her bed then laid down. She couldn't help but let her tears out, as the next two months were going to be torture for her.
Sighing Virgil told his father and big brother. "you should both know that Claire has been having nightmares, about her accident, what the bullies will do to her and…….. and us leaving her alone"
Both Jeff and Scott were shocked and worried about Claire.
Jeff asked. "How do you know that?"
Looking to his father he replies. "Claire comes to me when she has a nightmare during the night"
Sighing Scott says. "She knows that she can come to all of us"
Both Virgil and Jeff nods as they needed to make sure that Claire was safe.
Thinking for a minute Scott says. "I have a few week's vacation time, I can spend a week with Claire at school"
Nodding Jeff replies. I think that's a good idea, we all can take it in turns…… and I can arrange for you boys to help in her classes too"
All three boys nod and head back upstairs, Jeff went to his office and contacted the principal about the idea he has. Scott and Virgil went to their sisters room, to cheer her up. While Gordon went to Alan's room, he told him and John about the idea Scott had.
The next few days went by quickly, Scott took his sister back to school, he said that he's staying for a week with her.
Being back at school made Claire feel anxious, she kept her down as she and Scott went to her dorm room.
Once inside Claire unpacked her things, then went to the kitchen to make something to drink. Scott walked in and sat down watching Claire.
She sat down after handing Scott a cup of coffee. "These next two months are going to be long"
After taking a sip of coffee and putting his cup down.
Sighing he replies. "You don't have to worry, the principal made sure that I'm helping in all of your classes"
After a few hours and after dinner, Claire sat at her desk and was doing her homework.
Scott was catching up on writing his mission reports, and then Scott sent them to his father by email.
She almost jumped when someone knocked on the door, she got up and went over and opened the door. Scott had also come up to stand behind his sister.
Sighing Claire asked. "Holly what can I do for you"
The girl Holly has short ruby red hair and hazel eyes.
She replies. "I just wanted to say, you better watch your back"
He was angry that someone was threating his little sister. "It would be better if you and the other girls to leave my sister alone"
He frightened Holly so much that she ran away.
After that Claire closed the door, then she went back to what she was doing.
A few hours later it was night time and Claire to go to bed, Claire slept in her bed while Scott slept on the sofa. Tomorrow was the first day of school for Claire and first day for Scott to help out in her classes.
