Shadow heard a voice asking him p, as they were going to the Wachowski family's house as it belonged to his and Sonic's other baby girl, Shadette or Shade as she was nicknamed by her daddy Sonic along with her papa Shadow and Uncle Stone.
The five and a half year old black-brown and red quilled and furred hedgehog female cub lived with her papa, Shadow, Toni lived with Sonic along with Tom and Maddie as her grandparents but looked likecShade but had blue quills instead of red ones like Shadow's but she had a fun loving, adventoyrous spirit like her and Shade's daddy while Shade was shy but loved books and stories along with flying as she'd grown her wings like her papa's and hadn't seen Toni in a while since they were babies but they had a twin bond but Sonic and Shadow decided they needed each other as twin siblings were best friends and Shade didn't go to kindergarten likecToni as Sonic wanted Toni to learn how to read since he had trouble reading not wanting her to inherit that. "My lil Princess don't worry. Toni is your twin sister and loves you like your daddy and I love you and Toni. Maybe we'll read a story aloud to daddy and Toni." Shadow reassured her.
Shade smiled, as she could read and loved books and stories plus had her own library card like her dad so ran into Tom and Maddie's house seeing her daddy hugging his leg majingvSonic grin hugging her back seeingvToni come downstairs with a storybook, one of the ones Maddie had written making Shade grin seeing her twin hug her as she'd missed her making Shade feel her anxiety dim like the stars when they were far away.
"Shadey daddy says you're really good at books. Can you help me." Toni asked.
"Yes, Yes I can. You wanna go to your room or show me." Shade replied.
Toni nodded leading the way upstairs to her room, which made Shaxe grin. It was warm and welcoming, but messy with toys everywhere makijg Toni blush in embarrassment as Maddie had told her to clean it up seeing Shade helping clean up stunning Toni but appreciating her help because then they could play or read a story together seeing Toni cuddling a stuffie of their daddy but saw something in the toy box, Shads the stuffie Shadow and Sonic had given her as a lil baby hedgehog but thought she'd lost him or her.
"Yeah daddy said I should look after it, until you came back. He's gonna be so happy you foubd him." Toni said to her.
"Her you mean. She's me and your one's a mini you even if she looks like daddy." Shade shyly said as Toni loved that idea sitting on beanbags as Lil Shade and Toni were with them, as Shade was reading the book impressing Maddie surprised Toni's room was clean bringing snacks.. "Yep, she did a good job Grandma Maddie Pkus I found Lil Shade like Toni has lil Toni the stuffies our dads gave us when we were babies." Shade told her making Maddie happy as she left them be.
Later that early evening back at her uncle Stine's house where she and her dad lived, Shade was playing with Lil Shade and other toys from her toy chest hearing wingbears as her dad was going flying meaning what this happened, Stone was in charge and bedtime was soon picking up her toys putting them back in her toy chest except for Lil Shade putting her in her bed going to pee and put on her pyjamas relievibg Stone as the cub had a long day so resting would refresh her.
She was unaware her papa was talking to her and Toni's dad about them moving back in to the Wachowski house like when both twin cubs had came into the universe but because of GUN it was why they weren't living with them which he hadn't told Shade in case Shade got upset so Stone was hoping it would happen as Shade needed a stable family life seeing Shade in her Team Dark pyjamas getting into bed with Lil Shade into bed as Stone told her a story but left her room seeing Shadow back after a while saying he and Shaxe were moving into thecWachowski house with Sonic making him happy knowing Shade would be excited in the morning.
The next morning, Shade was surprised hearing from her papa they were moving in with her daddy, Toni along with Tom and Maddie so couldn't wait to tell Toni making Shadow chuckle drinking coffee along withbStone making her ask something if Uncle Stone was gonna move with them seeing Stone shake his head. "I'm staying here but we'll still see each other." Stone told her as she was eating oatmeal but was thinking about this news making Shadow get it but it would be okay seeing her brush her quills making him chuckle as he'd taught her some life skills knowing she was going to Tom and Maddie's seeing her packing her backpack while he and Stone were doing adult stuff packing her favourite stuffie, Lil Shade for naptime as she was leaving with him.
