A complete solar eclipse, with the sky turning red signaled the beginning of the end of the cycle and the start of the next. For both the gods and the demons once waged war for dominance of planet Earth, which only ended when an agreement was reached. Where a human was chosen at random where they be the one who would decide on which side would rule for the next 2 thousand years before a new chosen one was selected.
The young chosen one once revealed would have 1 year to prepare themselves to battle against the 13 demon champions, who are like the chosen one will be roughly around their age to make it a fair fight. With him would 2 human companions who will help the chosen one to defeat the demons as well as 13th young gods who would give them their blessings, giving them the power they will need. The demons would be allowed to test the will of the chosen one during the year, but can't harm, control, or trick them in anyway, haven't to be completely honest with that they offering, who they are, and what they would do if they win.
This cycle chosen one according to the clue given when the chosen one was born, is that they would try to enter the hero school of U.A. on their 14th birthday. Young gods and demons were sent to enter the entrance exams, all on the lookout for the chosen one. The gods on the look out for someone who has a powerful quirk, befriending them so that if they're the chosen one, it would make things easier. Having spent the 4 years till the chosen one's 18th birthday, growing up along side with them, they would either have form a friendship or at least be known to the chosen one.
The demons would also do the same to temp the chosen one, who are also the ones that the chosen one would be facing, so that if they're fail to corrupt the chosen one they would know how the chosen one fights and what their quirk is. With the 13 demon champions also attending to be able to have a good idea of what the chosen one would be like and how strong they are. All of them having passed the test to be one of the 13 demon champions for this cycle.
Erma Williams an onryo who is half human and is an apocalypse maiden. She has telekinesis and hair control and Swiss Army Superpowers that make her extremely powerful in combat. She a sweet girl who loves horror, who just wants to spend time with friends, watch her favorite shows, and play with her dog. But once she's mad, she's just plain scary.
Mitsu & Momo Yureimoto, Erma's twin cousins, a pair of Zashiki-Warashi. They're able to transform into spirit forms that are made up of plant materials, pollen and leaves that allow them to fly, and makes them unable to be harm while in their spirit forms. They're dysfunctional troublemakers who enjoy terrorizing others. Picked so that they could trick and outwit the chosen one's, as strength alone isn't what wins battles.
Six, a mysterious girl who always wears a yellow raincoat. She rarely talks, is very stoic showing little, and likes to cook. She is able to sunk the energy out of anything, electrical powers from machines, and life energy out of living things. The more she sucks the stronger she gets.
Amity Blight, the youngest daughter of the Blight family who runs the Blight Chemical factory. She is a rare type of slime, having a solid body but is able to cover her body with large amounts of slime that can morph into any shape she wants. Smart and tactical, who can also use magic.
Hilda, a fairy human hybrid, who unlike modern fictions about them, the fair folks on the most part aren't the cute pixies or elves that make toys. In the past they would interact with humans with no thought to the consequences of their actions, or they would be tricksters that deliberately delighted in the utter mess they made of mortal lives. Thanks to how utterly their morals and way of thinking aren't anywhere close to how humans think, with only a few taking the time to try to understand how humans think, which Hilda can understand both human and fairy ways of thinking and morals, thanks to her mother being half human herself after her grandfather had fallen for a human woman. She's a powerful magic user but prefers to use melee over spells.
Karin Maker, is a cute, bubbly, and slightly ditzy girl. She is a unvampire, who gives blood and has none of the weaknesses or strengths of a vampire. She was chosen as she gives the other demon champions a power boost with her giving them her blood, which also heals them. She has to give others her extra blood or it comes out as a nose bleed. She was picked also to give the chosen one a moral dilemma as Karin is a friendly girl and be someone they be reluctant to fight.
Ahri, a girl with fox ears and a single fox tail that later she grew 8 more, a kumiho who looks like a kitsune but is much more blood hungry than their cousins. She can create illusions that fools all five senses, and has learned to use special effects used in films to make it better. She uses psychological warfare, SFX skills, hypnosis, to break people mentally. She can manipulate people with her perfect illusions. There's no sure-fire way to tell if the illusions are fake or real unless you can gain excellent knowledge of the subject the illusion is covering. Only those who can't see are completely immune to her illusions, have protection, and those who have strong minds or just dumb. Her power also doesn't work on those who are insane, or those who have powerful other senses like being able to smell if something is real or not. And young children because of their still developing minds are immune to her powers as well.
Delta, a muscle headed dog girl, possessing superhuman strength and senses and has the speed to match them. She uses brute force and if that doesn't work, to use even more brute force. Delta is described as fighting like a loose cannon. She relies mostly on instincts, but her ferocity, supernatural strength, and speed make her one of the physically strongest fighter of the Demon champions.
Zeta, a catgirl who is both strong and skilled in fighting but gets bored when she learns a new skill that prevents her from mastering the skill. She is able to use any kind of weapon and knows every type of unarmed fighting style, but because she's lazy she hasn't mastered any.
Yua, a girl with dragon wings and can breathe, fire, ice, and lightning, a dragon in human form. Her dense scales and naturally immunity to magic, makes her very hard to hurt. She is also physically the strongest and knows how to fight. Uses a shovel to fight with as unlike other weapons, she can always just go to a garden store and buy a new one. And she likes the old game, Shovel Knight.
Sunset Shimmer, a unicorn who seeks to have revenge on the one who abandoned her. A skilled magic user and has powerful telekinesis that has no limits. Has a cunning, tactical mind and is completely ruthless, a born leader and leads the others.
Charlie Morningstar, is compassionate and empathetic to a fault, feeling genuinely upset at the idea of harm coming to others. She is also the princess of Hell, being the daughter of Lucifer and Lilith Morningstar. She's the most powerful of all the demon champions but is the nice one and the heart of the group, and lets Sunset take the lead. She wants to prove to the gods that demons like her can be good and that under their rule would be better than how they had ruled. (1)
They like the god champions would had entered the school and either befriended or learn all about the chosen one. That was the plan anyways but they all left the school after passing the exams, all for a boy, Izuku Midoriya. They had all grown up on Earth and all had befriended the same human boy who helped them learn how to use their powers which they said are quirks. Which is how they all became the demon champions.
Then even with him getting enough points by helping the other kids during the exam, he wasn't allowed into the hero classes as he didn't had a quirk. The girls seeing their friend not being allowed to try to become a hero because he doesn't have a quirk, also all left as well, leaving the school scrambling to fill in the empty spots. Also having to deal with the fallout as some of the parents of the girls who left also were donating lots of money to the school. Which they withdrew seeing how their kids weren't in the school there's no reason to donate.
The parents were disappointed in the girls decision to leave the school but there were other kids who could do the same both in the current grade and upper grade levels, even some of the school staff. The girls followed Izuku to the new hero school that had opened up in Pelican Town in Stardew Valley, that has been given new life after the Blight chemical plant was built there. Which became home to many of the yokai in the area, for the jobs that open up thanks to the plant. Which they had passed off as being humans with quirks that made them look like yokai.
With the announcement of the chosen one, the representatives of the gods and demons had gathered at U.A. to reveal the chosen one who would decide which faction would rule Earth till the next chosen one in the next cycle was born. Thor of the gods and demons had Asmodeus, Sin of Lust, are there to reveal which of the students of the school is the chosen one.
"I can't wait to see who it is," said Luz Noceda, a foreign student whose mother moved to Japan for a job in the local hospital. She is also a big fan of the book series Good Witch Azura, but models herself after Villainous Lucy. As she was bullied while she was in the states for believing in becoming a magic user and took up being like Villainous Lucy, becoming the bully instead to the kids who use to pick on her. Her quirk is that she can turn any liquid into its gas form. (2)
"I can't wait either," Izuku said to his friend looking up in the sky with the others.
He's at the apartment block where he's been living at with the girls who chose to stay with him when the school rejected him, because he doesn't have a quirk. Leaving his old life behind to start anew in this town by the sea, leaving his mother who never believed in him and everything else behind. Making other friends like Luz who don't care he's quirkless.
The magic orb that was being used to reveal who the chosen one among the students of U.A. suddenly zoomed out above the school.
"What's it doing?" Luz asks looking out as the screen above them began to move away from the school.
"Maybe the chosen one isn't at school," Izuku said as he and the others had left school to celebrate his birthday after the final bell.
The screen stopped and zoomed in showing Izuku on the roof top of the apartment where he and the others are celebrating his birthday.
"What? But the orb's clue said that the chosen one would be at the school," Thor said looking up staring at Izuku who he remembers being the boy that his daughter Torunn, use to pick on for thinking that he a quirkless boy could be a hero. Also being the reason why the champions of the demon side had all left the school after they had passed, as the school wouldn't accept the boy into the hero course after he had earned the points to get in.
"Actually, it just said that the chosen one would try to enter the school when they were 14. Nothing about him actually being a student, Izuku there while he did earned the points needed to get in Nezu over there decided that a quirkless boy couldn't be a hero, like everyone else has been telling him all of his life. With the exception of the girls with him who always believed he could be a hero without a quirk and followed him when he was told he couldn't be a hero. And the girls who believed in him are all on the demon side, while the ones on the gods side like your daughter, either bullied him or told him to give up his dream," Asmodeus smirks at Thor who quickly realized how bad it's for the gods now.
"Hi uncle Ozzi!" Charlie shouted waving to her uncle.
"Hi Charlie, she's the princess of Hell," Asmodeus said.
"All of you are demons?" Izuku asks looking around at his friends.
"Some of us, I'm a unicorn and Hilda is a fairy, we're just on the demon side like others are," Sunset said.
"And as the chosen one, I'm suppose to fight all of you within a year?" Izuku asks.
"That's what is suppose to happen but you know what the ones on the gods side are like. They will only be supportive and act nice to you only because you are the chosen one, they never were nice or believe that someone who is quirkless like you could be a hero," Charlie said.
"And don't forget what All Might said to you," Ahri said using her power to replay the scene where All Might whose secret has been already been revealed years ago, told Izuku that he couldn't be a hero.
"He was born quirkless and was given All For One, a quirk that can be passed down to others that also takes the quirk of the new host too. Which for someone who already has a quirk rapidly ages them, which is what happened to that wannabe young hero when he was given the quirk," Asmodeus said.
"Boy I can't change the past but I can promise you that things will be different for you. The demons can't be allowed to rule, the U.A. school and its staff failed you after you earned the right to try to be a hero. The heroes of Japan and All Might, failed you. But I the god of thunder will not. I will personally train you to be a hero among heroes. The young gods chosen for this cycle will give you their blessings with two mortal companions," Thor said.
"And what of your daughter who use to torment me, while you did nothing?" Izuku asks remembering how Thor had done nothing while his daughter beat him.
"All I can do is ask for forgiveness on my part and ask you to forgive her and the others," Thor said.
"So you won't punish them at all, just ask me to forgive them. Why should I believe in anything you say when you never cared before?" Izuku asks. "I refuse to work with them."
"My daughter and the others are the ones who have been chosen to be your companions to help you to defeat the demon champions. You need their power to be able to defeat the demons," Thor said.
"Then let me use her and the others as my training dummies, where I will beat them bloody, break their bodies, make them scream for it to stop like they did to me," Izuku said.
"I can't allow that," Thor said.
"Then this discussion is over. I'm switching sides. I'm with my friends who always believed in me," Izuku said.
"Glad to hear that kid," Lucifer said appearing out of a portal.
"Dad, what are you doing here?" Charlie asks.
"Welcoming the chosen one to the demon side. Come on kids step through the portal and we can continue Izuku's party in Hell and your parents can join as we have much to talk about," Lucifer said stepping aside so that the party goers could enter.
"So Charlie's dad you're the real king of hell the fallen angel right?" Luz asks.
"Yes," Lucifer said.
"Can you empower me with real magic after making a deal with the devil?" Luz asks.
"Yes but it will condemn you to Hell," Lucifer said.
"Ok, and for the power I become Charlie's servant," Luz said.
"What?" Charlie asks.
"What I get to have real magic and serve as your court witch," Luz said and runs into the portal.
"I didn't agree to that!" Charlie said running after her into the portal.
"Let's go," Izuku said walking to the portal.
"No, don't do it we can work something out!" Thor shouted.
"You had your chance," Izuku said not looking back as he enters the portal to Hell.
The screen playing all over the world switched back to just showing Thor and Asmodeus who is clapping.
"This is just beautiful. The higher ups really must have a wicked sense of humor. Picking a quirkless kid like Izuku who was bullied by the young gods who were suppose to befriend him, while Charlie and her group did befriend him and believed in his dream of being a hero. You on the gods side have really shot yourselves in the foot here. And you refusing to punish your brat and the others, just sealed the deal. Just beautiful," Asmodeus said wiping away tears in his eyes. "Now I have a party to get to and welcome the chosen one to my side. But don't think you gods don't have a chance. All you have to do is make it up to Izuku and get him to trust you all and befriend him, which you only have a year to do before it's official. We on the demon side will be ruling Earth for the next 2 thousand years before a new chosen one is selected for the next cycle."
With that the bird like demon of the sin of Lust left by a portal. Leaving Thor and the members of the school by themselves, right before the impact of what happen hits, and the people around the world react as they normally do when they're hit by bad news of this scale.
