The ride back to Ilvermorny was uneventful. Lily and Heather met up in the training room to help her get ready a little bit for her match the next day against Michael. They were mostly working on studying him through watching his previous matches both his singles and doubles. Lily took notes for Heather as she spoke on what his weaknesses were and any particular strengths that he had that should be noted.

After watching the last film, Lily looked at the notes. There were quite a few. Heather took the notes. She said, "Thank you again for your help, Lily. You should be studying or hanging out with your friends."

Lily said, "I can hang out with them anytime. Homework is done for the day. Teachers went lenient on us. Think they are trying to ease us back into the fold."

Heather said, "That is weird. Most teachers except for fifth and seventh years would get you right back into the thick of things."

Lily shrugged her shoulders. Classes were cancelled the next day as the tennis tournament and would probably run most of the day due to the amount of matches and the uncertainty of how long they would take. The matches would start at 10am and go until they were all finished. The elves were setting up a concession stand for the watchers and players so that they could eat without going all the way up to the school. A few vendors from the village came too. It was a lively atmosphere. Lily and her friends just walked around the crowds. The announcer was hyping everyone up with talking about the previous matches.

At five minutes to ten, Lily heard the announcer start to announce who would be playing first.

"On Court 1, we have Lucas Renner and Roger Strickland. On court 2: Lee Chang and Bryan Wetz. In court 3: Lisa Ritz and Vince Hopkins. And Finally on court 4 we have Sean Wright and Freddy Johnston. Players please make your way to your courts so we can begin today's matches! Good luck! Others pay attention to the announcements and your pagers. Your pagers will tell you what court to go!"

Lily made her way over to court three in support of her teammate, Vince. There she found most of the team. Unfortunately, Vince lost quickly. He came of the court swearing. As the day continued, Lily and her friends continued to watch the matches. Jasmine and James were amongst the crowd. Lily knew that Jasmine was there to support her sister, Heather. Heather ended up playing about 2 o'clock against Michael on Court 1. Lily stood beside her brother and future sister-in-law. It was nice to know that she would have a sister.

Jasmine said, "Oh, Lily. I've been meaning to ask. Will you be one of my bridesmaids when the time comes for the wedding? We don't know when we will be having it yet, but I'm trying to get the small things like bridesmaids out of the way."

Lily said, "Of course!"

"Jasmine! James!"

The three of them turned and there walking towards them was Jasmine and Heather's parents. Lucinda said, "We got her just time looks like it."

Lily turned towards the court and said, "Yep. They just did the coin toss."

Robert said, "Work was being a pain and didn't want to let me leave."

Lily nodded. She had heard rumors that the tennis set-up was being changed yet again for next year. It will be announced in a couple of weeks on what is going to happen. She was anxious to hear about it. She liked playing tennis so hopefully it just meant that they were adding more games.

The rest of the day was a blur. Heather ended up winning her match along with Ben, Sarah, Jewel, and Kevin. The team commiserated with Stephanie, Sam, Vince, and Michael. Robert and Lucinda ended up staying the rest of the day.

The rest of the semester passed seamlessly. Lucas ended up winning the tennis tournament which shocked a lot of the players as he was only a third year.

There hadn't been any tryouts for the Tennis teams as there was talk of them doing something akin to the tournament the following year, but all year with the exception of the winter months. Anyone can enter, and depending on how many enter, depended on how many brackets were needed. Considering there were close to 1000 students at Ilvermorny, that could be a big bracket.

Next to the last day of school, they received their grades. Lily read hers:
