Jake took Rose back home while JJ called Jayne to fill her in. He asked her to stay at Kelly's and keep an eye on her. Robert was livid, he put a few more officers on their house. He was in the other room.
JJ walked over to Holly and sat down. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine, I should be asking you. I know that had to be scary." Holly knew how much JJ loved his grandmother and how heartbroken he had been since losing Joe.
"Gran's okay. She's with Jake and Jayne. I'll be okay. I just need to take care of my family which includes you and Robert." JJ told Holly.
Holly smiled at her son-in-law. She loved how much he wanted to protect their family. "You are very special to us. A great addition to our family. We have to figure this out before your little bundle arrives but I know we will. I was so scared for your grandmother."
"I'm very glad she has you. I think having you, Robert and her other friends around her has helped her. Losing my father was such a huge loss to us both but having this family means the world to us." JJ told Holly as Robert walked back in the room.
"I have a few more men on Kelly's and some here. We are going to find who is doing this." Robert was determined.
Kelly's
Rose and Jake walked inside and were greeted by Jayne. She hugged Rose tightly. "Seana is upstairs taking a nap. I hope you don't care that I closed up early."
Rose hugged Jayne back and shook her head. "Not at all. Thank you for doing that. I'm fine, thankful to still be here but honestly who you need to call is your mom. She seemed really shaken up."
"I will call her. I wish I could go see her but I promised JJ I would stay here." Jayne told Rose. She wanted to stay with her but she also wanted to hug her mom.
"Why don't you video call her? There's a lot of cops there right now, you are probably better off here for right now." Rose suggested as the door to Kelly's swung open.
"Jayne!" Barry stumbled in, looking pretty roughed up.
"Barry!" Jayne hurried over to him as did Jake. Jake helped him to a chair.
Rose went to call Robert as Jayne sat down with him. "Do you need to go to the hospital?"
Barry shook his head, refusing to go. "I can't."
