Note: I never thought that I would do another one of these, but here we are. To clarify, one of my first ever stories for the site was a compilation of 100 stories. Each one was ether a crossover between multiple franchises or a story centered around a single franchise. With that in mind, it seemed like I wouldn't come back to the concept, considering how I have several stories that are currently ongoing. But as we all know, things change, including stuff that we barely pay attention to. This, of course, can lead to people changing their minds about certain things, like how I have.

With this new compilation, I will be able to practice certain ideas that I wouldn't dedicate an entire story to. Not only that, but it gives me the opportunity to write stories for franchises that I haven't written for before. As a warning, not all of them will be crossovers, so be on the lookout for ones that are centered around a single franchise. This will be rated M to be safe, as some stories may contain adult themes. And no, profanity isn't the ONLY adult theme in certain stories. Of course, you probably already know what I'm talking about. For that, I apologize for sounding condescending.

Now, in order to prevent myself from rambling, it's time for the first story.

Story 1: Stuck in a Hole

It was just a fine summer day in the forest, the sun shining over the trees. Birds were flying around, chirping and looking for food. There were no humans in the area, not even a hiker looking for the highest point of the forest. Everything seemed quiet, if not for the sound of static coming out of a hole in the ground. In the middle of a forest was a big hole, looking much bigger than one an ordinary animal would make. That was because it was made by a certain hare, who was inside it with a familiar screwball duck.

From inside the rabbit hole, Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck were sitting on the couch, watching an old sitcom. It was from the eighties, so the two laughed at the cheesy acting and tried to look for an actor who had a role before they went on to become a major star. The episodes the hare and mallard watched didn't feature any special guest stars, just the usual cast. However, they didn't mind, as they still had fun. While the small marathon of episodes would be ending in the next hour, Bugs and Daffy figured that it was worth it. They even promised themselves that they would seek out more episodes.

When the programming was done for the day, Daffy went to climb out of Bugs' hole, promising to see him tomorrow. He climbed up the ladder, poking his head out. After that, the mallard reached his hands out of the hole, touching the ground. The moment his torso was poking out of the hole, he was intent on pulling the rest of his body out and heading home. Once he tried to do it, however, the duck found himself unable to move the lower half of his body. Not only that, but he couldn't pull himself up anymore.

"Eh, Daffy, are you stuck?" Bugs asked, his voice coming out of the hole.

"Yeah!" Daffy spoke. "And I can't pull myself up any farther! Seriously, Bugs, how do you manage to get into it and out of it as you go about your day?!"

"Hang on, Doc!" The hare said. "I'll find a way to get you through it!"

To begin, Bugs decided to get Daffy out of the hole by pushing the lower half of his body. At the same time, Daffy held onto the grass, trying to pull while his friend pushed. However, it failed to get the duck through, as he was still stuck in the hole. After another try, they gave up on that idea, knowing that it wasn't working. It was going to take something else to free Daffy from the hole, though it wouldn't require force. Bugs worked out another idea, intent in getting the mallard out of the hole as quickly as possible.

Next, Bugs thought about climbing up the ladder himself and using a shovel to make the hole bigger. However, he decided against doing so. While it would free Daffy, it would also cause him to come crashing down on top of Bugs, which would knock him off the ladder. The two would have to go to a doctor after that and it would undoubtedly lead to them being in casts for the next few months. Not only that, but Daffy would probably want to sue once he recovered from his injuries. Bugs didn't have a whole lot of money, so he would lose his home in the lawsuit. With that in mind, using the shovel to free Daffy was ruled out.

With Daffy still in the hole, Bugs thought about different ideas that would free his friend. He thought about calling his girlfriend Lola Bunny, but she was busy working at her coffee kiosk throughout the day. Another idea was to use a pin to poke Daffy's rear end, with the shock being enough to launch him out of the hole. Bugs knew that it wouldn't work, so he ruled out that idea. Regardless, the rabbit had to try something in order to get Daffy out of his rabbit hole. If not, he would be stuck until he either starved to death or got eaten by a predator.

After a moment of thinking, Bugs got out a jar of stuff he kept on his bookshelf. Climbing up the ladder, he dipped his finger in the stuff that was inside the jar. The rabbit then rubbed it around Daffy's waist, practically coating his feathers. When that was out of the way, he climbed down from the ladder, putting the jar back on his bookcase.

"Okay, Daffy, try to pull yourself up!" Bugs spoke.

Daffy then strained again, trying to free himself from the hole again. Suddenly, the lower half of his body was launched out of the hole, as if it were a missile. From outside, the mallard was heard letting out a pained groan, having hit the ground. He was finally free from the hole, though it came at the risk of being launched and thrown to the ground.

"You know, Doc, you should try to lose some weight!" Bugs said.

"You're despicable, you know that?" Daffy said, peeking his head into the hole.

"I was just giving you some advice." The rabbit said.

"I have to ask you something and I know that I'm not going to like the answer, but what did you rub on me?" The duck asked.

"A lubricant." The hare said. "It's something I only use for special occasions."

"Oh." The mallard said. "Well, thanks for helping me get out of your hole! I'll see you whenever!"

After that, Daffy walked away from Bugs' rabbit hole, making his way back to the pond. While he was grateful for the rabbit helping him, he couldn't help but wonder why he kept a jar of lubricant (he heard the glass being touched and grabbed). It was helpful, but it seemed strange that he would rarely use it. There were plenty of guesses the mallard had about it, but he decided not to dwell on them. For now, he was focused on getting back to the pond and hanging out with the other ducks. Maybe he would ask Bugs about the lubricant the next time he visited him.

Note: Not a bad story, isn't it? You might have noticed that I labeled the first chapter as a story instead of a chapter. That's because these chapters are meant to be a single story instead of interlocking chapters that are connected to each other. Granted, some might be connected, but those will be rare. In fact, aside from a few characters appearing in several stories, a majority of the stories will have a loose continuity, focusing on a single idea. There might be a few song-based stories as well.

Until next time, this is ElectricWizard99, signing off. Peace!
