Category: Who's the Boss
Summary: What happens when you mix too much wine and a secret love?
Rating:NC-17, NSFW, M
Spoilers: Wedding Bells
Disclaimer: I don't own these characters.

This story contains content for mature audiences only - please be warned. If people want, I can try to mark the sections so you can skip those parts if you prefer not to read them but still want the rest of the story. If enough people ask I can try!

This story is complete (I think) but it has multiple chapters. I'll upload them as fast as I can. I kept them to 1200-1500 words for the most part because I think that's manageable to read without having to binge the whole thing!

I wrote most of these a long time ago. I apologize for any mistakes, but I will try to edit as I go!

I'm moving my Who's the Boss fics from various other sites to here. Feedback welcome - good or bad - and appreciated :) Enjoy.

Friday night, Angela is exhausted after a long week. Luckily she can keep food down, but this pregnancy is exhausting her and after work, after Tony forces her to drink a healthy smoothie, she lies down on the couch before dinner.

She's barely dozing off when she hears the kids come down the stairs. Suddenly, Tony is there.

"Quiet, quiet, quiet," he shushes them. "Can't you see your mother is sleeping?"

"Why is she sleeping?" Jonathan asks. "It's not even dark."

"She had a long day at work. Now go outside or go upstairs or go in the kitchen."

"Jeez, dad. Okay."

When she hears the front door close, she calls his name.

"Tony, they're going to suspect something if you keep behaving like this."

"Did they wake you?"

"No," she says, opening her eyes. "I wasn't really sleeping."

"Are you feeling alright?"

"Yeah. I'm fine."

"I'm gonna make supper now. Don't fall asleep for too long."

"Okay," she says, as she closes her eyes again. She feels his lips on her forehead and she smiles.

Dinner is surf and turf - iron rich steak and protein rich shrimp.

"You have to eat more than that," Tony says.

"I'm full, Tony, you gave me the biggest piece of steak."

"I'll have your shrimp," Mona says, reaching out with her fork.

"No!" Tony says. "No, Angela is going to eat all her supper."

"Otherwise she won't be able to leave the table," Mona teases. "What's with you?"

"Nothing," he says. "Nothing. I just made this especially for her and I want her to eat it all."

"Go ahead, mother, I can't eat another bite."

Mona reaches out again, tentatively with an eye on Tony. Tony isn't happy but he doesn't say anything, he just looks at Angela.

When they are finished with dinner Angela sits in the kitchen while Tony does the dishes.

"I'm sorry, Tony, my appetite just hasn't come back yet."

"It's okay, Angela, but I just don't think you're eating enough. I may not have been around when Marie was first pregnant but I remember when Mrs. Rosini had her youngest son and she ate a lot, I mean a LOT."

"I'm sure I'll get hungry as this trimester ends."

"Alright, come on. Go get your coat."

"What?"

"Go get your coat, I want to show you something outside."

"Tony, I don't feel like going out right now."

"Come on. Fresh air will do you good. Go, get your jacket. I'll meet you in the backyard."

She sighs, but stands and leaves the kitchen. Tony rushes out the back door. He set everything up while she was napping, and he quickly lights the candles and makes sure the rose petals are perfect. There is a light dusting of snow on the ground and it's created a beautiful effect. He pulls the ring box from his pocket and gets down on his knee.

"Tony, it's so cold, I don't - " She stops when she sees him.

"Angela," he says, reaching out his hand for her. She comes to him, taking his hand. Her other hand covers her mouth as tears fill her eyes.

"Angela, I want you to know that I have loved you for a very long time. I tried not to fall in love with you, I really did, but it was impossible. You're smart, you're funny, you're kind, you're beautiful. You're everything I want. You make me so happy, Angela. Will you marry me?"

Tony's certain she'll say yes - she's already agreed to marriage - but he's still got a nagging doubt in the back of his mind. As tears fall from her eyes, he holds his breath waiting for her answer.

"Oh, Tony. Yes, of course I will."

"Alright!" Tony says, getting to his feet. He pulls the ring out of the box and slides it on to her finger.

"I hope you like this. When my dad died it's one of the things he left me."

"It's beautiful," she says, looking at the diamond ring. Tony knows it's a bit old fashioned looking, but it's a nice size diamond and he had it professionally cleaned. He doesn't have the money for anything better.

"I kissed you here the night we made our baby," he smiles, pulling her close to him.

"I remember," she says softly. She kisses him. "Thank you, Tony."

"Thank you," he grins. "I'm so happy, Angela. I hope you are, too."

"I'm very happy," she says, kissing him again.

"I can't wait to marry you," he says, hugging her. "Come on, let's go back in. Don't want baby to get cold."

Tony blows out the candles, which isn't difficult in the chilly weather. He puts his arm around his fiance and they go inside together.

"Will you sleep with me tonight?" she asks.

"Nothing could keep me away," he says.
