Concerned about the Black Ace making another move, and this so-called darkness being real, Yukina informed her friends about her concerns. Despite what they think, they all agree that something should be done and that the Malicious Fiends should be destroyed for good. In order to find a way to do so, they need to know more about the origins of the Malicious Fiends, and they thought they could find answers if they know where they were sealed away at before Diego got his hands on them.

"How about it, Arthur?" Yukina questioned as she was speaking with him and the rest of Team Camelot over video. "Can you tell us anything about where you got Dark Warrior? This could be important."

"Well... It's not like I went treasure hunting for the card." Arthur said. "However, I could make some calls and use my connections to try and find out where."

"Any help you could give us would be appreciated." Yukina said. "Also, be careful, Arthur. Diego isn't the type to give up on his ambitions. He wants that card, and he will try to get it. The Black Ace is sure to make another move soon. You need to keep that card safe."

"I will. I'll let you know what I find." Arthur said and ended the call. At the same time, Felix was speaking with Dana, Snyder, and Marcus about the same matter.

"How about it, Dana and Snyder? Does anything come to mind?" Felix asked.

"Sorry. I wish I could help, but they treated me more like a tool when they brainwashed me in becoming Persephone." Dana claimed.

"Yeah, and I wasn't the type of duelist they were looking for to have one of the Malicious Fiends. They just used me to get to Dana, so they wouldn't tell me anything important." Snyder said.

"However, we'll let you know if we do find anything out." Dana said.

"You guys really have nothing to worry about." Marcus said. "Just tell me where the Black Ace is now and I'll take care of them. After all, if Yukina could take those guys, they can't be all that."

"You're really saying that after everything you went through with them?" Felix reminded and bruised Marcus' ego. "Nice to see your energy hasn't diminished. Just let us know if you do find anything." He ended the call there, but was hoping there would be more.

"No luck with Dana and Snyder?" Yukina asked.

"No, but they'll keep their eyes open." Felix said.

"I just talked to Yuxuan and the rest of Fangrong. They'll see what intel they can find as well." Cindy said. "With all our friends around the world looking, we're sure to learn something. All we need is to learn just one location, right?"

"That's the idea, at least." Yukina claimed. "It doesn't look like there's much that we can do now. I guess all we can really do is wait until we hear something, but I do hope it's soon."

"This isn't usually like you, Yukina. You're acting a little serious." Felix said. "Are you going to be okay?" Yukina knew he was right, and she can't hide it from them.

"The Malicious Fiends just continue to cause so much harm and pain. The Black Ace aids in that." Yukina said. "They forced Marcus to go against his two closest friends. They've caused my friends to suffer. They took my father from me. Even though we win against them, they still continue to ruin what dueling should really be about. They just won't stop until they ruin everything for everyone. It has to stop." They can certainly understand Yukina feeling that. She's been after the Black Ace since they first met her. It's no wonder she wants to deal with them.

"We will, Yukina. You know you can rely on us." Felix assured.

"That's right. We can do this." Cindy claimed. That did help Yukina feel much better.

"Yeah. You're right." Yukina said. "Well, I guess we should get going."

"By the way, what are we going to do about Cray?" Cindy asked. "We could sure use his help."

"You know how he can be, but I think Kent went to talk to him." Felix claimed. "Kent might be Cray's most devoted fan, soulmate, or whatever he calls himself; but he also understands this is important. Hopefully, he can convince Cray to help us out."

"I'm not too worried about that. Knowing Cray, he'll be there." Yukina said with her fully sure of that. "He acts like he doesn't care or is only interested in his own goals, but I think that's just the nice guy trying to look tough."

Cray

"Cray, don't you understand?" Kent asked. Kent met up with Cray and was trying to convince him to help. "You know how bad these guys can be."

"You're not telling me you actually believe all that nonsense." Cray argued.

"No, but I do know that you want to help. You've always helped Yukina out before when you didn't have to." Kent claimed. "You're always willing to help."

"That's not because I care. It's because I want to be able to face Yukina again." Cray claimed. "Defeating her is the only goal I care about."

"Yeah, I know that, but you know what stopping these guys mean to her." Kent claimed. That was when something came to Cray

"You might be on to something." Cray said. "Yukina is rather focused on taking down the Malicious Fiends, and they are powerful cards." Cray doesn't seem interested in helping them, but he might if there's something in it for them.

Yukina

It became late, but Yukina still had some trouble sleeping. Yukina couldn't stop thinking about what might happen. The Malicious Fiends have had a profound impact on her for such a long time. No matter how many times she beats them, they just keep coming back to haunt her. It's no wonder why.

"Father..." Yukina muttered. When Yukina first faced one of the Malicious Fiends, it was when her father attempted to stop Raika and Diego from taking Life Destroyer. She believed that was the only Malicious Fiend, but she later learned there were six of them. Her father failed to stop them from leaving with Life Destroyer, and she lost her father in that battle. After that, she set on that journey to find them and make sure that card was sealed away once again. During that journey, she found her way to Lustrous City and made the friends she has now that have stuck by her side and fought with her against these dangerous enemies. "I promise Dad... I'll make sure the Malicious Fiends are stopped once and for all." She tried to get to sleep after that, but that was when she got a call. "Hello?" She answered.

"Sorry to wake you, Yukina. It's Justin."

"It's fine. I couldn't sleep that much. What's going on?" Yukina questioned.

"I think we might have found something." Justin claimed. They managed to find something already? This could be the break that they've been looking for.

...

Justin's Office

As soon as Yukina was told that they might have found something, she got the others and came straight back to Justin's office.

"Boy... You guys don't waste any time." Cindy said with her trying to rub the sleep out of her eyes. "It's the middle of the night. Did you really find something?"

"I believe so." Justin claimed. "We tried to follow Diego's movements, or any relation to the Malicious Fiends in the time frame between Duel Battlers and the Worldwide Supreme Tournament. It was a little tricky, and we had to use various sources over the network and such. We even resorted to using social media since this was of great importance and couldn't leave anything to chance."

"And you ended up with something?" Felix asked.

"Yes. Thanks to the various sources we used, I think we might have pinpointed at least one location that the Black Ace has been to within that time frame." Justin claimed.

"It's better than nothing. Where?" Yukina questioned.

"Here." Justin said. He gestured to his map of the world and the location appeared to have landed on a small island in the middle of the ocean that held a volcano.

"That island? You know they've been there?" Cindy asked.

"It's a bit of a long shot, but there is a legend tied to that island." Justin claimed. "The people of that island worshipped a fire deity that holds a connection to that volcano. They said that within the volcano was a dormant power."

"Do you think that volcano could have been where one of the Malicious Fiends was sealed away?" Felix asked.

"It makes sense if you think about it." Cindy said. "Life Destroyer was sealed away in Yukina's hometown, Decker. Hardly anyone knew about that place."

"Even if we're right, it doesn't mean we'll find anything." Felix said. "After all, there wasn't much in Decker that could tell us about the origin of those cards. The same could be said there."

"I get all of that, but it's at least worth a shot." Yukina said. "We've got to at least check it out."

"I agree. At the moment, we can't fly you out because air vehicles are unable to land on the island." Justin said. "We'll have to send you by boat, but the earliest we can get you there is tomorrow." That sounded good to the others. That means that tomorrow they can begin their quest to find the origin of the Malicious Fiends so that they can destroy them.

...

The Next Day

Thanks to Justin, he made arrangements to get those three transported to the island by boat. They were all about to set out, but just needed Kent to show up.

"I wish you all luck." Justin claimed. "While you're away, we'll continue our search to see if there is anything else we can find. I'll let you know if hear anything from anyone."

"Thank you, Justin. You've done so much for us that I don't know how to repay you." Yukina said.

"Well, like you all, I was once a young and inspiring duelist myself." Justin claimed. "I feel the same way about it as the rest of you do. That's why I'm willing to do what I can."

"Well, we just need Kent to show. What's taking him so long?" Cindy questioned.

"Over here! Don't leave without us!" They all looked to see Kent hurrying over to help them.

"There he is!" Yukina said.

"Did he say "us"?" Felix questioned. That was when they noticed Cray was joining them. "It's Cray!"

"You weren't seriously going to leave without us, were you?" Cray said.

"No, but we didn't know you were coming. You made it clear that you didn't want to help." Cindy said. "This is great. We could sure use your help along the way. I'm glad to see you came to your senses and are coming to help us out."

"No. That's not why." Cray claimed. "I'm coming along so that I can have a chance of facing all six Malicious Fiends. They're just another set of cards to me. Once I defeat them, I'll know I'll have what it takes to defeat you, Yukina. That's the only reason I'm coming along." That makes more sense. Cray's only coming so that he can be ready to defeat Yukina. It's the same reason he's done everything else until now.

"Okay. If that's what works for you." Yukina said.

"Sheesh. Cray needs to get his priorities straight." Felix complained.

"What are you talking about?! Just you wait! Cray can easily defeat all of the Malicious Fiends, and then not even Yukina has a chance against him!" Kent claimed.

"So, what are we waiting for? Let's get this show on the road." Cray claimed with him getting on the boat. They all climbed aboard and set sail for a brand new adventure.

"Good luck, all of you." Justin said with him wishing them all well. 'I'm confident that they can stop whatever it is that the Black Ace will try because they've done it before. However, there is something that has me concerned. If everything Yukina says is the truth, what great darkness and evil is trying to revive? What could it be that the Malicious Fiends are needed for it? I guess I can only hope they succeed and prevent it from happening.' That's the whole reason for all of this. They're looking for answers that could help stop this evil. Hopefully, they can make it in time.
