After Belle sent her newborn son away with the blue fairy to keep him from Gold and having him sever his destiny. She hated doing it and hated not having her son, but it was the only thing she could do, and Gold left her no other choice. As she recovered, she knew that Gold would never stop looking for Gideon and she feared that he would find him. Gold got strands of hair from Belle's hairbrush and used it with his to find Gideon. It failed and Gold knew that the blue fairy must have used magic on Gideon to shield him from Gold. Gold hated this and hated the blue fairy more than he ever did. He knew that no matter what he did, he would never be able to find Gideon and the only person that could help was the blue fairy. Gold immediately left the shop and headed straight to the convent. He arrived outside and went inside to see all the fairies scrambling. He was not expecting this and grabbed one and demanded "Where's mother superior".
The fairy answered "She's been injured. We just brought her back. We found her in the forest. She has been seriously injured".
Gold demanded "Where is she. Where is my son".
The fairy directed her head down the hall and Gold left her heading straight to mother superior. As he entered a fairy said "Get out. You can't be here".
Gold demanded "Shut up you winged gnat. I need to speak to your mother superior".
Blue said "Gold. Gold. Is that you".
Gold walked over and asked, "What happened to you".
Blue answered "It was dark. And I fought as hard as I could but, but. I couldn't stop her".
Gold asked "Who. Who came attacked you".
Blue answered, "The Black fairy".
Gold became angered and sneered "Mother". Gold then asked "Did she take him. Did she take my son".
Blue answered "No. I saved him. I did the only thing I could and sent him through a portal. I sent him away".
Gold demanded "Where. Where did you send him".
Blue answered weakly "I don't know. I had to do it so fast I couldn't tell or decide".
Gold demanded "Then take the spell off. Take the spell off my son so I can find him before my mother does".
Blue responded, "I can't".
Gold asked, "What do you mean you can't".
Blue told him "I don't have any magic anymore. I used it all up to protect your son".
Gold asked, "What did you do".
Blue answered "To keep your mother from him. I used all my magic to speed that realm up. I sacrificed my magic so your mother could never get your son".
Gold knew that the magic it would take to do that was immense and so powerful that it would take someone's magic away. But it was also very dangerous and unpredictable. Gold said "I need to talk to Belle. Where is she".
A fairy said "She's gone. We sent her home after we healed her".
Gold was happy because of the gold bracelet he put on her to track her. He knew exactly where she was and told the fairies "I'll be right back. And you better tell everything to her. I know she won't believe me". Gold then used his magic to leave the convent and go straight to Belle.
After Belle was healed, she went to the lake and sat there holding a toy bear that she had already bought for her son. And thought about giving it to him and playing with it. She missed her son and wanted him back in her arms and hated how her ex-husband had forced her to send him away. Gold went over to her and said "Belle". Belle turned to him, and he told her "We need to talk".
Belle responded "Don't Rumple. Don't ask. I will not be telling you where I 've sent our son".
Gold told her "Belle, he's gone". Belle turned to him was shocked to hear this. Belle stood up and Gold said "I was just at the convent. I went there to demand the mother superior to tell me where she took our son. But when I arrived, I saw that she was injured. She had been attacked".
Belle shook off the belief and said "I'm not doing this. I'm not believing you. This is just a tactic to get me to tell you where I sent our son".
Gold responded "Okay, I understand. I know my words mean nothing to you now, so let's start with actions". Gold then took off the gold bracelet and Belle was surprised to see this. Gold said "There. This is not about control but that our son's in danger and we need to save him right now".
Everything in her was screaming to not trust Gold but this was different. This was for her son, and she needed to make sure that he was safe. Belle said "Okay, take me to the convent. I wanna speak to Blue myself".
Gold used magic to teleport them to the blue fairies room and upon seeing that they were there the blue fairy called out weakly "Belle".
Belle turned to her and seeing that she was injured rushed over and asked "Blue. Blue. What happened. Tell me what happened to my son".
Blue answered, "The Black fairy". Belle was shocked to hear this and knew that it was Gold's mother. The blue fairy said "She tried to take him. She tried to take him, but I stopped her".
Belle asked "You stopped her. What happened to my son. Where's my baby".
Blue answered, "I sent him away". Belle was shocked and horrified to hear this as the blue fairy continued "I sent him to another realm. I sent him and used all my magic to protect him". The blue fairy groaned before she said, "I had to, I had to speed up that realms time so she couldn't get him".
Belle asked, "You sped up that realms time".
Blue answered "Yes. It was the only way I could save him. I had to it and had to sacrifice my own magic to do it".
Belle asked, "You don't have any magic anymore".
Blue answered "No. And I can't take the spell off your son so you can find him. I'm sorry Belle but it was the best thing I could do".
Belle asked, "Do you know where he is".
Blue answered "No. I didn't have time to choose or see where I sent him. I had to save him first".
Belle turned to Gold and asked "Where is he. How do we find him".
Gold answered "I can't. I can't as long as that spell remains up, I can't do anything".
Belle silently screamed and said "I can't be doing this. I can't lose my son".
Gold put his hands on her shoulders and said "We'll find him. We'll find him and save him".
Belle then was immediately sent to the dream world and was shocked to no longer see Gold or be in mother superiors room at the convent. She knew that she was in her and her son's dream world and looked around until she heard a babies cry. She turned to see a baby in a wooden basket at the bottom of a tree with the book 'her handsome hero' sticking out of it. She knew that it was Gideon and rushed to him. She went over and picked up her son. She told him "It's all right, it's all right. Stop your crying. Mummy's here. Mummy's here for you". Gideon calmed down and Belle sat down and began to stroke Gideon's head. She said "Mummy's sorry for what happened baby. She had no idea, if she did, she would have never left you. She's sorry. She's so sorry. But she's coming for you. She's coming for you and will hold you again. This time she won't let you go and be the best mum in the world, she promises". Belle then began to sing to Gideon and as he began to fall back asleep. She heard loud thumps, and Gideon began to cry again. She was shocked to hear it and was panicked by it. She held her son closer to her and said "It's all right baby. It's all right. Mummy's here and she's not going anywhere. She loves you Gideon and she will always be with you. She will find you. She will not stop looking until you are back in her arms. You'll always be in my heart, Gideon. I love you". Belle attempted to kiss Gideon's forehead when he vanished, and Belle screamed and cried "Gideon. Gideon".
Belle immediately awoke from the dream word and was shocked to see where she was. She turned to Gold and said "Rumple. He's not safe. He's in danger and we need to save him now".
Gold said "We will. Now I can't but I know the saviour can".
Belle said "Good. We need to save our son right now. He's needs us and we're not going to stop until he's safe". Gold agreed and he used his magic to take them to the apartment of Snow White and Prince Charming.
