Story Start!
One day, it clicked.
2B watched over Naruto for several years, forced him to learn everything that she could cram into his skull, and though he wasn't a genius like his parents, he worked harder than anyone could ask of him. By the age of 9 years old, he had managed to study and become a master of many fields of science that were above her own understanding of them.
Then, he started working on a project of his own.
It was a sphere.
Half of the sphere was made of silvery and gold material, the same ASM that her own skeleton was made of that made her immune to most form of magic. The silver material was something she didn't understand though, but silver traces of her own hair came out of the small machine and filtered through the glass of the other half of the machine. She could see that the small sphere was empty on the inside, with the glass half of the small machine being clear with some silver cords in the glass to show the inside of it.
"What is that?" 2B asked as Naruto seemed to be hesitating on if he wanted to turn the machine he had completed on or not.
"Infinite Power."
"Infinite Power?" 2B asked the young 12 year old boy, since he had been working on his project of his for 3 years and seemed to have finally had something click with him. The small sphere that was only the size of a softball was infinite power? That was hard for her to conceptualize, and even stranger was that she didn't know what he meant by power. "Power as in fighting strength, or power as in fuel?" 2B wanted him to explain it.
"Both..."
"Both?" 2B questioned the young boy, leaning down to be on his level so that she could look over his shoulder at what he was working on. No longer did they stay at the church they did when he was 7, years ago they had moved away from there due to being discovered by A2 once more, and having to retreat. Now their current place they were staying was deep behind Russian borders, it was cold, though she wasn't bothered by the cold.
Naruto pressed a small button.
It turned on.
Inside of the machine, 1 spiral formed... and then another formed as a couple of sparks flew in the middle of the spirals. Then, once the machine warmed up, more and more spirals started to add themselves into the spirals until she saw the inside of the machine turn into a bright yellow spiralling sphere of chaotic energy.
"Infinite power... I created this machine to siphon off small amounts of energy from infinite timelines, dimensions, separate realities, universes. The more power the machine has, the more durable it becomes, so the machine is always capable of withstanding holding infinite power." Naruto explained, and she didn't understand what he was saying other than his small little machine was now connected to infinity and beyond the universe itself.
"How?" 2B asked with a whisper, taking the ball from his hand.
"I don't know... but while it's turned on, it can't be broken, and it can provide infinite energy to anything plugged into it." Naruto explained it like it made sense, and to him the creator of the machine it seemed like it would make sense.
She was holding actual infinity in the palm of her hand.
Her hands started to tremble as it dawned on her.
She saw a small galaxy forming inside of the sphere as a minature universe started to form, before the universe inside of the sphere was consumed and turned into more spirals of energy. She watched as infinite power was contained, destroyed, created, destroyed, contained, and multiple universes were born and destroyed inside of the sphere as it became pure spirals over and over again. Infinite mass was contained and destroyed inside of the sphere, but it was no heavier than a 15 lb ball.
Infinity in the palm of her hand.
Infinite power, and not just "power that couldn't be measured", but ACTUAL infinite power was contained and constantly growing in the palm of her hand. The strength and durability of the machine itself was growing and growing to match the power contained inside of the ball as universes were born, and destroyed, before he very eyes as she looked within the glass part of the machine, with the glass also having infinite durability due to how it seemed to work.
"How did you think... why did you think of doing this?"
"... Because you got hurt last time we ran away from those androids, and I don't want you to get hurt anymore." Naruto took the power source away from her, before he got up started started to walk out of the building. He walked through the snow as he started to make his way towards the hanger, they were currently hiding in an abandoned airport junkyard. He had a lot to work with towards studying machines, and when she went to work in the city she had to leave him alone with her Pod.
She followed him.
He opened the hanger door.
A humanoid shaped jet.
"What... is this?" 2B whispered as she walked towards the jet, and looked at how banged up the parts were. She watched as Naruto walked around the backside of the jet, before he placed the infinite power core into the back of the jet.
It sprung to life.
Infinite power coursed through the machine as lights all across it lit up, going from empty on power to full instantly. The grey beat up steel turned silver, before it turned white as power levels in the machine soared.
"It's limited on how much power it can take... want to try and fly it?" Naruto asked her, and when she took a step forward, part of the jet opened up to reveal a place for her to stand within the unit. Her eyes widened, gazing at the beautiful piece of machinery as the creation repaired all of the damage it had from the junk parts it used.
It transformed.
The steel it had been made of transformed to a completely different material altogether, and she looked at Naruto, who was gazing at her. She nodded her head, turned around and walked backwards so that she entered the unit. It attached to her body, and she felt her system integrate with the flying machine. Her body became one with it, and when she tried to move her arms, instead the arms of the machine moved.
She started to float as the machine took to the air, at a simple thought.
It acted as if she had always been in control, and data about how to fly the machine became known to her as if she had always known it. Her Black Box connected with the-
"Rasengan..." 2B whispered.
"That's the name for the Infinite Power Unit... I saw Mom and Dad's notes on it, and they always wanted to build an infinite power generator... I don't know who my parents were, but I wanted to complete this for them too... it wasn't just for you." Naruto admitted with a small amount of shame that his reasons weren't purely to help her.
"You completed the Rasengan Engine... Min... your father only theorized that it was possible to complete. He could never actually connect multiple universes together in a stable way." 2B was astonished by the achievement that may never become known to the world. It was a tiny machine that could change the entire world forever, much like how his parents had changed the world with their androids.
"Well... are you going to try out flying?"
She nodded and took off.
'Energy readings at 100%, seeing no dropping in power... speed is stable, but I barely feel the wind.' 2B glanced back, before she blinked.
She had only been flying for a few seconds, but where was she?
The hanger that Naruto had been in was no longer in sight, and she didn't know if she had been going that fast. She didn't feel like she was achieving that level of speed.
*Current Location: Atalantic Ocean*
"I'm-"
A small screen appeared in front of her face.
"Seems the machine worked, you're about a mile above the middle of the Atalantic ocean." Naruto spoke to her from the other side of the screen, and she turned and looked everywhere, only to see ocean as far as the eye could see. "The machine you're in doesn't fly, instead it moves you through the space around you. It's kind of like you're standing in one place, while the rest of the world moves instead of you." Naruto explained to her.
"I see... so I move without generating... I'm not affected by the law of Inertia..." 2B moved through the air.
This time she tracked her speed.
She was moving at a speed of 86,000 miles per second, but she barely felt like she was moving at a speed of 10 miles per hour. She flew through a city, right through the center of a city, but her body moving at such extreme speeds barely caused more than a light breeze. She was already above some continent, she crossed an ocean, went above a snow covered place where it was really cold. She went across the world many times over in a matter of minutes.
"Really try it out go up, full speed."
The screen in front of her face showed Naruto still paying attention to her.
*10,000% Overcharge Mode Initiated*
It didn't FEEL like she was going as fast as she did, but when she went straight up, she left... she left the solar system in a matter of moments. Earth was no longer even slightly visible to her from where she was, and she saw a shield was generated around her to allow her to be protected from the extreme elements of the raw universe.
"I'm... in space." 2B stated as she looked around.
It was beautiful.
Still, she was too far away from Naruto, so she intitiated the 10,000% Overcharge Mode again and went straight back to Earth. She blinked, it was like blinking and suddenly she was hovering a few feet above the ground, her machine having stopped her from crashing. The ground below her became a 10 foot crater as a tiny amount of the inertia she would have generated from her speed was still achieved.
She flew back to the hanger where Naruto was waiting for her.
He was standing, waiting.
The machine she was in opened up and she disconnected, landing on her feet once more as she turned and looked at the machine. Naruto walked back behind the machine, and he unplugged the Rasengan Engine from the machine.
It turned to dust.
The entire jet he had worked on for her turned to dust.
"The Rasengan Engine connected to the machine, and it formed a barrier around you, and around the jet. It cancelled out inertia for you and your surroundings, but not the jet... instead the infinite durability from the Rasengan Engine allowed the jet to survive those speeds... but the second the core is pulled out, the two barriers collapse in on each other, and destroy the jet once it is no longer infinitely durable." Naruto explained when she looked at the pile of ash on the ground.
A delayed reaction.
"So... if I had been in there when the core was removed..."
"You would have been fine, but falling towards the ground when the jet destroyed itself. The Rasengan Engine transforms anything it's connected to as..." Naruto took out a small phone, a dead phone that was junk. He took a cord out of the Rasengan Engine, and plugged it into the phone.
The phone turned silver, before turning white as it was transformed, and Naruto unplugged the power and it transformed back to what it was before.
"This... is no mere science."
"It's Science and Alchemy mixed together..." Naruto told her with a proud grin.
"... If you connected that to an android..." 2B wondered what would happen.
"It can't directly connect to an android, it needs another machine to act as a buffer, so you don't get the brunt of your AI trying to calculate infinite power." Naruto didn't have to worry about that. He turned off the Rasengan Engine, and she watched as the spiralling energy inside of the machine started to fade away.
"Where did... the energy go?"
"Back to the universes I got it from." Naruto stated as if it were the most normal thing.
"I see... very well... Naruto... Naruto?" 2B watched as Naruto's eyes started to roll into the back of his head.
Days of not sleeping as he worked on his Rasengan Engine finally caught up with him.
He collapsed face first into the snow.
