23. Wanderer

A/N: Hello guys, this is Dave and I'm back with a new chapter of 'Blazblue Advent' or as of the time this been published 'Blazblue: Crumbling Advent'. I thought about changing the title since I felt it was bland and with some help from a friend of mine on a Discord, help me come up with this title. Again, sorry I took this long to complete chapter but Hope you guys enjoy it and without further ado, let us begin.

The Melancholy Wanderer

At the hill, Celica and Kokonoe were just walking nearby in the burned house. Despite being abandoned for a long time, the house has a very clean and clear air as Celica moves up to hill to see something.

"This is my grave." Celica says as she stares at a grave with the name "Celica A Mercury" on the headstone as she thought 'I've always wanted to see it, but now that I'm here it feels weird… This is MY grave.'

"Professor, can you give me some alone time with my grave? I need some time to think." Celica says, which Kokonoe nods at this. Dying is one thing but being revive and get to see your grave and is another weird thing. Kokonoe understands that fact so she understands Celica's situation without ever mention about her sister or Ragna.

"Hey, I'll be over there. If you need anything, just call me." Kokonoe says, pointing at where she's going to stand.

"Okay, I'll try to be not too long." Celica says, understand the concern of Kokonoe.

"Please don't leave without letting me know, first. I don't want to lose you in the wilderness." Kokonoe says with a sigh and her eyes closed, remember about Celica's lack of sense when comes to road. If you let someone like that wonder alone, it will take a long time to find that person or even lose that person entirely, which Kokone couldn't afford to.

"Um… What's that supposed to mean?" Celica asked, unaware of her lack of direction.

"So, you're not aware." Kokonoe says, turning her back to Celica as she cocked her head to one side, turn around and headed towards the church ruins.

"…." Celica just stare at Kokonoe's directions before look back at her grave again.

'I just gotta focus and do my job, right? I just can't do everything by myself like my sister, anyways.' Celica thought back of her sister as she slapped some colors into her cheeks and nodded… Then she felt a sense of unease.

She felt the presence behind her back, so suddenly that she couldn't help but turn around and when she did; she saw 3 shadows which were not there just a moment earlier had appeared. The visitors felt so alien that she just stood there without a word.

"Why are you "here"?" A voice ask as out comes the Imperator, Phantom and Dizzy; who were all shocked that someone come to visit here but decide to mask it.

"Yeah, vhy bother *Sqeek* come here in the first place?" Dizzy added, intimidation on his voice to scare Celica but she was completely distracted by the 3rd person that she doesn't hear the two questions in the first place.

"Big… Big sister?" Celica asked once she think of who could Phantom be.

"We slipped… Or we were drawn here." Phantom says with her eyes closed.

"…" Phantom says, think of it as well.

"Well then, let's leave out of here vhile we can *Sqeek*" Dizzy says, doesn't want to this to be any longer.

"Agreed. Phantom, teleport please." Imperator says, agreed on Dizzy's word and orders Phantom as it teleport all three of them out of here, leaving Celica alone.

"Teleportation magic? Then that means she was…" Celica says, gasped at the magic that just happen before her very eyes.

"Celica, are you alright? What did I just sense now?" Kokonoe asked as soon as she runs up to her after sense something in the area.

"Oh, Professor Kokonoe…" Celica says.

"You ok? What the hell happened?" Kokonoe asked, wonder what that felling was.

"…I'm not really sure." Celica answer unsurely as they make their way back to the ruins while Celica tells Kokonoe what just happen.

"Huh, that doesn't sound right. You said that the Imperator came here? But for what purpose?" Kokonoe asked, wonder why would the Imperator came in the first place.

"…" Celica close her eyes, wondering that as well.

"Damnit, whatever the reason, I'm need to assume that they know of Celica's presence now. I couldn't have predicted this." Kokonoe says frustratingly.

"Um, I'm really sorry…" Celica apologize, felling this is all her fault that this happens.

"This isn't your fault, don't blame yourself." Kokonoe says, calm Celica down of her suppose guilt "But we need to get out of here, sticking around is too much trouble."

Having the Imperator knowing Celica is one thing, but letting someone else more dangerous saw her is another so she needs to make pace as fast as possible.

'Was that really my sister?' Celica thought back of who Phantom could be as they move out of there as fast as they can.

After both pairs left, the church returned to its peace and silence. All the tragedy forgotten by the mute building. A moments later, After both pairs left, the church returned to its peace and silence. Moments later, however; the peace and silence were broken again. With the gentle scent of rose…

"Huh? Hey Rabbit, why the hell are we back here?" Ragna asked once he, Rachel and Buckfire were teleport back to the church as he glance at the church and looked away, remember his childhood "Hey, we don't have business here. Let's get the hell out of…"

"That's enough, you loud and angry vermin." Rachel interrupt angrily.

"Geez, What's got your panties in a twist?" Ragna asked mockingly.

"Whatever it is, it must be important for someone like her to notice." Buckfire says.

"This "Realm" has been thrown into chaos." Rachel answer, her skin paler than before.

"Huh? Your skins are all pale, Did you drink someone's blood again?" Ragna asked, but Rachel didn't pay attention as she was worrying about something else.

"Whatever it is, it can't be good at all." Buckfire says as he looks around the burned church and he saw something odd. Two footsteps were there, one resembles a vulture and the other a pair of shoes. He could figure out who's the Vulture could be but can't know the other.

'So, my younger brother visits here. If that's the case, who's he travelling with?' Buckfire thought in confusion. If it were one of his Brother's workers than he could understand but the fact that footstep doesn't resemble an animal, which is what Vulturon's workers are based on, make him knows that this isn't one of them.

"Can it be… Multiple Interventions? No…" Rachel says, unsure of what this feeling is.

"Multiple Interventions? You're being more pretentious than usual." Ragna says, not sure what makes Rachel brings him all the way here.

"As usual, Ragna, you are leading the charge where angels would fear to tread." Rachel says cryptically.

"What? What the hell does that mean?" Ragna says.

"I have a good feeling but I don't know if I should tell you." Buckfire answer, have a good felling what does the vampire know about this but isn't sure about it himself.

"Are you satisfied with your visit to that sepulcher? Aren't there things you must do?" Rachel asked.

"Hmm... Well, I have some thing on my mind too." Ragna answer.

"This is why you're useless, you dullard. You're a stone gathering muss unless someone gets you rolling… Could I ask for more of a pathetic manservant?" Rachel says mockingly and cryptically.

"Just shut up, Rabit. I have a lot in my mind too, that's why…" Ragna says as he looks up before looked away uncomfortably. He couldn't stand being dressed down over the grave of his benefactor.

"I take that you think about your past life, huh?" Buckfire asked sadly.

"You're right, Buckfire. I was thinking about that." Ragna answer as the memories were on his mind.

"Whatever… let's be on our way. This is not a pleasant place." Rachel says.

"Yeah, I think something's weird about this place as well." Buckfire added.

"We're on the same page then." Ragna says.

"Until next time then." Rachel whisper softly as all three were teleported. As she teleported, Rachel's lips completed the sentence with someone's name, but no one was around to hear it.

At the evening, Bifrost was walking through the forest with a worried look, the thought of Hakumen's true identity still in his mind.

"If what Hakumen says is true, it means that this world run through two different timelines and some things from the first timeline have to come to the second timeline to stable it." Bifrost says once concluded what he heard from Hakumen "It sounds convoluted but it's the only one I have so until there's another theory that make sense, I have to accept this theory for now."

"Though I got to wonder, how does Rachel or the previous Observer felt when experience all of the events that transpire?" Bifrost asked himself. He knows from one of his brothers that Rachel's an observer and has been watch everything thus far "Though, she has been active more than usual and it might harm her."

Due to her being an Observer, Rachel cannot interfere the events that transpire but from what Bifrost heard, she has been doing that recently. This does concern the Croconoid as he knows that due to interfere the events, Rachel's Power will be weakened and consider she has a bone to pick with Terumi, it can be a bad thing.

"Well, well. What do we have here?" A cold yet polite voice asked as Bifrost felt something odd about it. It felt like it wants to fight and enjoy it, like a animal hunting for prey and enjoy devour it as the Croconoid turns to see Azrael standing there, a smirk on his face.

"What a person like you doing here, Mad Dog?" Bifrost asked, tense up.

"I just walking around here, looking for someone." Azrael answer, isn't fazed at the Crocodile the slightest. Not even in the fact that he knows him and his moniker.

"And what would that be?" Bifrost asked.

"I'm looking for Kokonoe. Do you know where she is?" Azrael says calmy, but Bifrost knows there's something underneath the man he staring at.

"I have no clue as to where she is." Bifrost answer.

"Oh well, I guess in exchange for that, you may as well prepare for what's coming to you." Azrael says, a smile on his face as Bifrost realize what the Mad Dog just said.

"Hghh, I see this coming from a long shot so come at me if you dare." Bifrost says, prepare for what's to come.

(Cue the Tyrant from Blazblue)

Azrael starts runs down to Bifrost and unleash a punch but Bifrost able to counter it with his own fist. Bifrost release his breath to Azrael, who jumps off once he felt the coldness of the breath as a mass of icicles appear in the Breath's location but Bifrost counted on that to happen as he release his Croco Wheels next then jumps into the icicles, crushing them as two of them aims at The Mad Dog while the other two flew about him, leaving Azarel unable to defend himself as he was being hurt by the wheels and icicles before the Mad dog breaks the wheels and comes right back to attack Bifrost, who block it with his jaw as the Croconoid took the chance and bite the Mad Dog down before spit him out in case of Azrael do an attack through his mouth.

"You're quite good for a giant." Azrael says once he stands back up as he stomps his foot to the ground, shake Bifrost a bit as Azrael charges in and punch the Croconoid in the face as Bifrost slides a few instances.

"No wonder you earn the title of Mad Dog." Bifrost says as he turns back and charge at Azrael with his jaws open as the mad dog cracks.

"That ain't going to happen a second time as I have something up my sleeve." Azrael says as he chants "Enchantment Dragunov level 1, Release."

As soon as Azrael chants done, one of his tattoos suddenly disappear as the Mad Dog hold Bifrost's jaws once it was close then throws him away, damage him immensely since the Croconoid was thrown into a bunch of trees.

"That was painful to say the least." Bifrost says as he stands back up and sees Azrael charging at him with a fist ready as the Croconoid opens his jaws and fire off his icicles, which all lands on Azrael as he didn't bother to dodge them but the icicles able to freeze him in place as Bifrost took the chance to run and attack him with his fist before slam with his tail, breaking the ice that Azrael was surrounded and flung him inches away.

'This guy's breath is much colder than my jail cell and that's saying something.' Azrael thought. He remembers that when he was imprisons for his crimes, Azrael was thrown into ice jail made for him and hibernate there until someone from the Sector Seven lets him out to do them a mission. One that while he saw was wrong,

"You sure know to take advantage of everything while possible." Azrael says as he gets back up and prepare for an attack, which Bifrost jumps for distance.

"Phalanx Cannon!" Azrael shouts as he flings his arm to form a fireball projectile, aim at Bifrost as the Psuderoid fires off his wheel but Azrael's projectile cut through the wheel as Bifrost blocks it with his arms, flames on his arms for a moment after the blast connects before fizzle out as Azrael charges at him with a punch but the Croconoid times it right and release his breath, freezing Azrael and stop him in his track.

"Hope you like a taste of this." Bifrost shouts as he jumps up and lands on Azrael, damage the Mad Dog immensely and break the ice as well as The Croconoid jumps back in case of an attack as Azrael gets back up right after, little hurt but still capable off fighting.

"You sure put up a good fight." Azrael says excitedly.

"There's a reason why I'm like this in the first place." Bifrost says, recalls the promise that he and his brothers make. It was one of things that kept him moving and he isn't going to waste his second chance anytime soon.

"That just means that I just get to be more powerful." Azrael says as he held his right arm up "Enchant Dragunov Level 2, Release."

A tattoo from his right arm suddenly disappears as Bifrost realizes what this could mean.

'He holds himself to have a long fight.' Bifrost thought 'If I could knock him off before he reaches his maximum strength, I could survive but that's going to be difficult since he's no pushover at the slightest.'

"Here I come." Azrael shouts as he charges in and prepare for more battle as Bifrost prepares himself. Bifrost blocks Azrael's assault with his own, looking for an opportunity to strike. Despite the power boost that Azrael gets, Bifrost was able to held his own fine since he's been training a lot for the battle against the NOL.

"You sure are pretty strong." Azrael says as he kicks Bifrost's legs, which hurts but he held the pain and continue the fight.

"That's because I've been trained a lot, Azrael." Bifrost says as he swipes his tail and hit Azrael with it but the Mad Dog was able to grab it and spins the Croconoid around before throwing him to a boulder, damage him immensely as The Psuderoid gets back up and turns back to Azrael.

"That was nothing compare to this." Bifrost screams as he fires off Icicle fang missiles to Azrael, the Mad Dog laughs and cover himself in a red aura as most of the missile fangs didn't damage him but a few flies around and hit Azrael, damage him as Azrael grunts and Bifrost took this opportunity and charge at him with his mouth open once his fangs regrow, crushing the Mad Dog once in range as the Pseuderoid spits out once again to a nearby tree, damage him greatly.

"You're pretty good for a giant dog." Azrael says.

"1: Thank you for the compliment and 2: I'm not a dog, I'm a crocodile." Bifrost says annoyed.

"Oh, sorry for the misconception, but I doubt it's going to matter since you'll be dead soon." Azrael says.

"Someone says the same thing to me and I live to tell the tale." Bifrost says fiercely, recall the time Magnus went to kill him but fail to do so.

"That's because whoever says that is weak." Azrael reasons as he picks up the tree that he crash into and throws it to Bifrost, The Croconoid crush it with a swing from his right arm.

"That's not true, he is strong in his own right but not as skillful as me." Bifrost says as he stomps the ground hard, shaking Azrael as the Croconoid took this chance and runs into the Mad Dog with his teeth once again but Azrael was able to held the jaw once in close range as the two struggle with Bifrost tried to close the jaw down while Azrael tries to throw the former off again.

"Give up, you have no chance against me." Azarel taunts, fiercely as ever.

"That may be the case but that doesn't mean that I'm going to give up and die, I have reasons to live and I will do them no matter what." Bifrost boasts, somehow clearly when still holding his jaws up as he decides to drawn in the cold breath, freezing Azrael up before the Croconoid bites down the Mad Dog, damage him as he spits out Azrael and the Dog stands back up with his right arm gripping.

"Powerful you are, but let's see if you can handle this or not." Azrael says as he throws out a Phalanx canon from his right arm, one that's more bigger than before as Bifrost opens his jaws once again, blocking the cannon out as it pushes him a few inches, his mouth has some flame and his fangs destroyed from the collision as they regrow and with the Pseuderoid's breath, able to turn that fire off as the Pseuderoid looks up to see Azrael charging at him with a kick, connecting the hit as Bifrost slides away even more from the impact, not enough to crash into a boulder a few inches.

"Hggh, that was close. I should end this or else, I'm dead." Bifrost says to himself as he looks up to see Azrael once again charging at him with a punch once again as the Pseuderoid counter that with his own as the two once again attack and counter each other, looking for a chance to strike back.

'Yes, this is what I've been wanted. A good fight and i get to enjoy every single moment of it. Even though this guy is going to die, I will have fun while it last.' Azrael thought in excitement. All he ever wanted in his life was a good fight and he hasn't had one due to his imprisonment from a long time, which makes this moment more excotong. Sure, he fought Bullet before, but she wasn't exciting and powerful as Bifrost is.

'From the looks of things, he is all brawn and little to no brain. If I could deliver a decisive blow, I would able to end this quickly but I need to find the right moment to do so and this guy ain't a pushover so that will be hard to do.' Bifrost thought, looking for an opportunity to end this quickly as possible as the fight draw on. He couldn't let down his brothers and he'll make sure of it. After some time of counter each assault from each other, Azrael then breaks it off by headbutt Bifrost's mouth and kick the ground, shaking the Croconoid a bit.

"It was fun while it last, but I'll end this quickly." Azrael says as he swings out his legs for the finish blow but Bifrost was able to intercept it with his hand as the Croconoid took this opportunity and freeze him once again with his breath.

"The one that's going to end this fight isn't you, but me." Bifrost says fiercely as instead of jumping to Azrael, he releases the Croco wheels as they spin towards the Mad dog, break parts of the ice and damage the body parts that was exposed as Azrael broke the ice sometime after, knocking the wheels out as well.

"We'll see about that, big guy." Azrael shouts as he takes off his coat and tries to smack Bifrost with it but he dodges it with ease and lets out another pair of Croco Wheels as they spin towards the Mad Dog. Azrael then puts his coat back on before deal with them with a stomp to the ground, shaking the wheels off balance and falls down before charging back to the Pseuderoid with a kick this time full of power as Bifrost block it with his hand but Azrael kicks his lower jaw with his other foot as Bifrost flinch for a moment, leaving Azrael a chance to attack once he stands back up and use it to attack his lower body, punching his stomach and kick his legs down as Bifrost felt pain from the attack as he tries to attack back but Azrael was able to block it as he goes for the private area, hurting the Pseuderoid even more as the Mad Dog continue to attacks his lower body to but Bifrost has other plans as he slips both his foots and falling down, crushing Azrael along the way as the Croconoid gets back up quickly and jumps out of the way as soon as he could, lands into the boulder that was near him and crush into pieces as the Mad Dog gets back up soon after, hurt but still capable of continuing no matter what as both were breathing hardly.

'That was close as that could have been the end for me.' Bifrost thought about how close Azrael was to kill him in his weak spot 'I should be careful or else, I'm done for.'

"You sure are resilient." Azrael says menacingly.

"Like I said before, I have reasons to live and I'm going to continue it to the end." Bifrost says fiercely, determine to not die here and now.

"You have a strong will, I like that." Azrael says as he prepares to charge into Bifrost "But let's see how much more can you handle."

Azrael charge backs in for doing more damage onto Bifrost but he lost balance for a moment due to stepping on a puddle that the ice melts as Bifrost took this chance and grabs the wheels that were on the ground and throws them with his hands. Azrael notices this as he narrowly dodges one wheel but the other hits him in the arm as he endures it for a moment before grabs it and breaks the Wheel once he regains his balance before prepare for charge back in, only for Bifrost to bites him down once in range as he chews on the Mad dog for a few seconds before spitting him out once again as Azrael was able to grip himself, barely dodge a tree that was behind him.

"Looks like the one that needs to handle more is you." Bifrost taunts.

"We'll see about that, you big l." Azrael says as he grabs the tree, lifts it up with his strength as the root been pulled and pebbles and throws it to Bifrost, who crush it with his fang as Azrael use the distraction to charges in and charge his fist to The Croconoid full power as Bifrost tries to dodges it and narrowly does so as Azrael's fist was a few inches away from connect the hit as the Pseuderoid use this chance and slam his arms, plowing him to the ground as Bifrost took this opportunity to freeze the Mad Dog once again with his breath as the Croconoid jumps forward once done breathing and crush Azarel as he once again jumps back and the Mad Dog stands back up soon after.

"You sure are one reselient dog, Azrael." Bifrost says, impress by Azrael's durabillity. Then again, he should expect this from someone who is capable of causing destruction by himself in the first place.

"Of course I am. I haven't had this much fun as I am now and I think I'm going to be enjoying it much more." Azrael says excitedly, ready or more .

'This guy is like Fenri but has no limits whatsoever.' Bifrost thought of one of Vulturon's men as Azrael hold his hand out with his other for something and Bifrost realize what he could be doing.

"Oh no, you don't." Bifrost shouts as he makes a run to Azrael before he can do what the Dog's about to do.

"Enchant Dragunov…" Azrael says, ready to let out more power but the Croconoid was able to prevent it with a shoulder bash as the Mad dog was pushed away, still standing and losing focus.

"I know what you're gonna do and I ain't having it happen at the slightest." Bifrost says as he swings his tail to Azrael, who dodge the first swipe but was caught off guard by the second as it makes contact and hurt Azrael a bit as he grabs the tail and attempt throw the Croconoid again but Bifrost saw it coming and decides to froze his tail with his power, freezing Azrael's body along with it but not his legs as the Croconoid attempts to slam the Mad Dog to a cliff but the Mad Dog use his legs to avoid collision as he tries to break the ice off but Bifrost wasn't having it as he swings his tail once again but this time, it heads to a boulder nearby which connects, leading to Azrael being injured and the ice cracks as well. Bifrost then decides to slam his tail to the ground to inflict more pain on Azrael, who's feeling the pain from the slam whenever Bifrost did this as the Croconoid decides to once again slam him to the mountain as Azrael tries to prevent it with his legs but the damage that Bifrost inflicts on him cause makes the legs unable to block it as the Mad Dog takes damage from the mountain but it was also enough for the ice to be crack to pieces that barely holding together, give Azrael a chance to break free as he takes the chance to break the ice and lunge to Bifrost for a kick, who was caught off guard as he was hit by the kick, slamming him to a nearby tree as it falls down from the collision to the Croconoid's head, down but not out.

"You sure are resilient, Big guy." Azrael says, impress that Bifrost was able to stand after what's happen to him.

"'Never back down until the fight is over so keep going until you can't'. That's a line that I said to my siblings and I'm going live through it." Bifrost says, determine to walk out of this fight alive.

"Powerful line and you sure deliver it quite well." Azrael says as he touches a large fragment boulder that the Dog was slam into "But let's see how much can you handle left."

Azrael picks up the fragment and throws it to Bifrost as the Croconoid blocks it with the remain tree parts as the two shatter to pieces from collision as Bifrost took the chance and fire off his icicle fangs in the middle of it, able to caught Azrael off guard since the tree and rock creates big dust during when collided as the icicles hit their target and freeze him once again as Bifrost figures the distant is too far for him to jump and crush Azrael so he instead uses the Croco Wheels as they spin towards the frozen dog and breaks apart the piece to damage his legs as the Mad Dog breaks it off shortly after a while, the wheels being flown as well as he charges in and kicks Bifrost as the Croconoid slides from the force of the kick and crash into the mountain, hurt more. The Mad Dog figure he isn't out yet so he charges in once again to deliver a powerful punch as something block it as the collision was enough for the dust to settle to see that Bifrost block it with his mouth as he lets out cold breath, this time all in as the breath was cold that he freeze Azrael instantly as opposed to slowly freeze as the Croconoid then throws off the Croco Wheels once again as they slid through the cracks that Bifrost intentionally provide to hit Azrael while still in ice. Bifrost then decides to back off for distance once he steps away from the mountain as he knows well that Azrael will take a very long time to able to break the ice out before running as fast as he can as he stops before jump into the frozen dog, full force as he crushes Azrael full force as the ice shattered, flowing every direction from small to large ones and the wheels were flown as well as they were destroyed from the force and impact to the rocks. Once the dust settled, Bifrost was standing on Azrael, who is still laying down as he looks at the Croconoid tired but not out.

"You sure are one tough and resilient guy." Azrael compliments.

"Thanks, now will you leave me alone now or what?" Bifrost asked, wants to end this as much as possible.

"Normally I wouldn't back off from a fight but I sense though that you don't want to fight more and only to end it so I'm letting you go for now." Azrael answer.

"Are you sure?" Bifrost asked in caution as Azrael nods at the question "So if I let you go, you'll leave me alone, right?"

"Yep, I got a lot of fun from this battle but it won't be as fun with your lack of will to continue the fight. Besides, I have something to take care of so I'll be leaving you for now." Azrael answer, remember that he has to do something for the Sector Seven.

"If you say so." Bifrost says as he steps out of Azrael as the mad dog stands back up and polish himself from the dust.

"I admit, you are one of the most tough opponents that I ever have the pleasure to fight." Azrael says "Should our path crosses again; we will fight once more."

"I'll take your words with a grain of salt." Bifrost says, isn't sure whether to be impress or not to Azrael's word.

"See you next time, Crocodile." Azrael says as he walks away, leaving an intimidating pressence.

(End song)

"Huh, it was a long fight but I was able to survive it so that's good at least." Bifrost says, glad that he's able to stand still after his fight against Azrael. If the fight continues on, he might have been done for at that point.

"I should probably get going." Bifrost says as he starts walking away from the field, only for moments to hear footsteps nearby as the Croconoid turns back and see Vulturon, Rin and Mattrex walking to the area, sawing what just happen.

'So, Brother's here? Wonder what's he doing out here and who is that girl that he's with?' Bifrost thought confusingly at the girl's Pressence.

"I think that something or someone cause all of this destruction, boss." Mattrex says sternly as Vulturon nods. "Yeah, but in order to do this, they need a lot of strength to cause this much destruction." Rin says, observing the battlefield as Vulturon nods at this as well as he hops around the field until he saw something that helps him figure out what could be the case.

"I think I know half of the reason what could cause this destruction." Vulturon says as Mattrex and Rin walks over to see the footprints that were left. One was Bifrost's while the other was Azrael's. Bifrost's footprint cause Mattrex to gasp while Rin was looking a bit confused at it until she realizes who could this be once she notices Which foot Vulturon is looking at.

'That sounds like what Bullet's group has went through.' Bifrost thought.

"What type of artifact?" Rin asked.

"It was consider classified so not sure, but word has it that immense power and needs something to be activate." Vulturon answer.

"And let me guess, Azrael heard about the group and decides to go out there and fight them huh?" Rin asked.

"Yeah, and It was quite odd to say the least." Vulturon says, which gives off confusion looks from Rin and Bifrost "From what I can heard, one person stays behind to save his team but somehow, only one member survives Azrael's lust."

"Sure, let's see what you want go over." Kokonoe answer as she and Kagura went back to the latter's office.

"Fooooood! Fooooood! Ohh! Meat buns and fried rice and sesame seed dumplings. This is happiness… Tao is deeply moved right meow!" Tao says excitedly as she, Ragna and Buckfire were seating at a table as the former was prepare to chow on the food that they're about to eat while Ragna and Buckfire looks at her odd.

"You're like a shark, just eating and moving endlessly…" Ragna say, which cause Buckfire to have a grim look.

"What's that?! Good guy said Tao could eat as muuuuch as she wanted!" Tao says.

"That's not true and you know it." Buckfire says.

"Yeah, you're willfully misinterpreting! Also, there's a limit as to how much you can eat." Ragna says.

"Men shouldn't be nitpicky. That's what Tora said. Men who are nitpicky can't get dates." Taokaka says.

"I got plenty dates! Also, shut up." Ragna says, which cause Buckfire to look at him oddly, which Ragna took notices "What, it's true that I got dates."

"I know. It's just, it's kinda odd to hear that from your mouth." Buckfire says. In the year that they know each other, Buckfire thought that Ragna was never one into romance so hear that he got dates just doesn't make sense to him as Ragna turns his head back in frustration.

"Time to dig in!" Tao says as she starts eating with her grabbing a pizza bun and bite it first "Meeeooooooooowwww! This Pizza bun is delicious! Hey, Good guy and Horn guy, you two shouldn't hold back either!"

"It's OUR money." Ragna and Buckfire shouted in union.

"This is tasty… and that is tasty as well, meow!" Tao says, continue eating and ignore the two shouting.

"Ugh…" Both Ragna and Buckfire sighs in disbelief as they close their eyes for a second.

"Meow? Aren't you gonna eat, good guy? If that isn't the case, Tao's gonna get your food! Food-steal Edge! Nyah!" Tao screams as she lunges for Ragna's food only for the Grim Reaper to stop her in time.

"Nyahuhu… Impressive…" Tao says, impress at Ragna's reaction speed before turns to Buckfire "But let's see if you're the same or not, Horn guy."

Tao jumps in for Buckfire's food but the Gazelloid simply stops her with his horns.

The Imperator says first before continue with Saya's voice "Brother, Saya misses you. Come, be with your sister."

"Doubts, huh?" Buckfire says as he thought back of what happens when he and the others saw Albert's defeat and after transport to Pseudo space.

"There's no way that just happens, right?" a little hedgehog Psuderoid ask in disbelief.

"Looks like our time has come to a freezing end, unexpected it may be." A Crab Psuderoid says, laughing.

"What a pity that we wouldn't be able to see the new world." A bee Psuderoid says in sadness.

"Was I wrong in the first place? That just because they were born in someone's shadow, doesn't mean that they can't make a word of light." Bifrost says, disbelief in what he just saw.

"So all this time, this was all for nothing? The King's plan had failed?" Buckfire asked, disbelief at what he just witness.

"Hmm, I know that kid has potential and I'm glad that they were able to give Albert a mega performance and end it good." Vulturon says, remember his defeat at their hands and he accepts it before being blown away.

"Indeed, they were able to prove us wrong with what they are capable of." A Shisa Pseuderoid says in agreement.

"Hmp." Another Shisa Pseuderoid nods in agreement as well.

"Glad for them to achieve victory but sad for master, to say the least." A Flower based Pseuderoid says neutrally, unsure what else to say.

"Guys, do you think though that the master care for us at all?" Bifrost asked, uncertain on his voice.

"Well, consider though that Albert's always belittle his own descendant, and let two of them live in suffer for them to put out pure anger towards him to power up Model W, I say that the chance that he has some care on to us is shockingly low." Vulturon answer.

"Pun aside, I thought of it as well" The Shisa says "He may sound like he cares but in actuality, he doesn't."

The Flower says, uncertain but understands what they're talking about "We're helping him to become the ruler of a new world because most of us are grateful for him bring us to life, while some are here because of their own reasons but still loyal regardless."

"But now with the plan being destroyed, all that seem pointless." The Hedgehog finish, still doesn't believe what she's hearing.

"Oh, it's true Hedgeshock and you better believe it." Vulturon says confidently "If you're still in denial, wait for Albert to show up and he'll give you a shocking answer."

"Yeah, I might as well do it." Hedgeshock defiantly says, still believes in Albert despite hearing what she's been told.

"Speaking of which, the time is now as he is coming." The Crab says as everyone turn to see Albert walking to them, an angry look on his face.

"I can't believe it. After all I did to get what I wanted, my plan failed?" Albert asked himself, angry that he fail his plans when it was in his palm "How is this even possible?"

"Master Albert, are you all right?" Buckfire asked, concern as he and the others make their way to him.

"No I'm not fine, You imbeciles." Albert says angrily "I won't let this slide and accept such humiliation like that."

"Are you going to find a way to come back, Master?" Hedgeshock asked.

"Yes, I am. I will find a way and you lot better not be useless to help rebuild the plan." Albert answer, in rage which cause most Psuderoid to gasp in shock.

"U-Useless?" Buckfire says first, shocked at what he just heard.

"So, it is true." Bifrost said, disbelief on his voice.

"This can't be." Hedgheshock says, sad of what she just heard.

"Am I wrong to say that? You guys weren't able to beat that brat the first time or the second time either so calling you guys useless is not wrong." Albert says, which cause the Pseuderoid's loyalty to Albert hurt a lot. The few that aren't shocked by this, they're still hurt by the word.

"If you want to go be god again, do it by yourself since I'll stay retired." Vulturon says.

"What, are you disobeying me?" Albert asked, enrage.

"No, I'm saying that You do your thing, I won't follow you anymore." Vulturon answer as he hops away from Albert before turn to the Pseuderoids "If you guys want to still follow Albert, then stay with him. If you don't, follow me then."

"After what I've heard and see, I think it's best if I let time decide but for now, I will rest here as well." Chronoforce says. Floating to the Vulture.

"Me follow you due to loyalty, Albert and you hurt it. Me don't think can trust Albert anymore." Buckfire says as he walks over to Vulturon and Chronoforce.

"I put faith in that you would put the defective on their place and start the plan, but not only did you fail to do either of that but you also broke my trust onto you. I won't help you anymore, Albert." Bifrost says sad and anger as he walks to the group.

"Me too." Hedgheshock says with some tears as she walks over as well.

"While we do hope you would able to beat them, We put a little faith onto them defeating you and it pay off, right Urgoyle?" Argoyle says.

"Prove, indeed." Urgoyle answer.

"We think it best to Live Peacefully." Argoyle says as he and Urgoyle skates away towards the group.

"After hearing what the others have to say, I think it's best to not help make the flower that will wither away sooner than later" Rospark says as he moves away as most look back at Albert before turn away

"Fine, be rotten in this place then. I'll prove you all wrong one-day and you all." Albert shouts angrily as the Psuderoids move away from their creator, with only Queenbee being the one to stay with him

"Saya… What were you thinking." Ragna says, uncertain about his sister.

"Father, what are you planning?" Buckfire says quietly, wonder what Albert's next move is.

"Hmm? Good Guy, Horn Guy, are you two zoning out?" Tao asked after some eating as she looks at her companions.

"It's nothing important, Tao." Buckfire answer first, grabbing his food and start eating on it slowly.

"Yeah, it's nothing. Hurry up and eat." Ragna says after as he eats as well.

"That was the plan!" Taokaka says excitedly as she meows.

"Is that so?" Ragna asked.

"Seems like it, Rags." Buckfire answer as he starts eating another piece of his food before looking back at the Grim Reaper "By the way, has your wounds heal up?"

"Yeah, looks like it… and the bone's reconnected as well. My body still feels sluggish, though…" Ragna answer, stretching his body "Soaking in those hot springs sure did heal my wounds quickly."

"Yeah, you look like a corpse before being put in the spring." Buckfire comments, which Ragna nods at.

"Hey Tao… What's with those hot springs?" Ragna asked.

"They're Kaka Hot Springs!" Tao says, miss the point of the question.

"Yeah, We got that part." Ragna says "No, what I mean is, what kind of hot springs are they?"

"Yeah, at least I'm healed up, that's for sure. We gotta start searching for Noel once we're done here." Ragna answer.

'And consider she's with the NOL of this town, we might get some rest as well.' Buckfire thought, recalls when Tager calls him and told him the info.

"Can I really count on you?" Ragna asked, getting out of his chair and stands up to look at Tao more seriously.

"We'll shall see, Tao." Buckfire says as he puts a Gyoza on his mouth and chew it before turns to Ragna, worried "Shouldn't you sit back in the table, Rags? What if someone were to crash into you?"

"I'm about to. Geez, it's not like anyone would- Guahhh." Ragna answer reassuringly someone crash into him, making Ragna fell down.

"Ahh, sorry." The person says, step up to see it was Bullet who crash into Ragna.

"Watch the hell you're going." Ragna says with his eyes closed, which shocks Bullet since she realizes who is it and Buckfire looking at her carefully.

'I hope she doesn't do anything stupid or something like that.' Buckfire thought.

"What's your problem?" Ragna asked, open his eyes to see Bullet.

"Uh… Never mind. Thought I recognize you for a moment." Bullet answer But Buckfire doesn't believe it at the slightest.

"Wait, what? Your unit's Uniform?" Buckfire says, stunned at what he just heard as he just let out a red face while Ragna comes close to Bullet, unfazed of the view but shocked of what he just heard.

"You joined a unit with butt floss for a uniform?!" Ragna asked, wide eyes.

"My name is Bullet. Remember that." Bullet answer, rage in her voice "Next time we meet, I won't show you any mercy, Grim Reaper."

"Sorry, my memory really blows… How 'bout I just call you butt floss." Ragna snarks as Bullet went in and punch him but The Grim Reaper block it off easily.

"Whoooa… Those are some pretty sparks flying… meownch meownch…" Taokaka says.

"Bullet, calm down or you would be end up in the worst position." Buckfire says, trying to calm Ragna and Bullet down as he later turns to the Grim Reaper "Ragna, you need to tone down before something bad happens to you."

"Oh please, I've been through stuff like this a lot. I can take care of myself quite well in that part." Ragna says, shrug at the worry.

"Even so, you never know what could happen so be more civil is always a consideration then just smack talk." Buckfire says, worried.

"What's the worst thing that can happen? A bunch of unknown Injuries happen out of nowhere?" Ragna ask snarky but then suddenly receive a vision Of Nu attacking him as he suddenly felt a lot of pain, blood come out as well.

"Ragna/Good guy!" Buckfire and Tao says in shock.

"Oh, are you alright?" Bullet ask, shock of what just happen.

"Don't touch me, Bullet." Ragna says painfully.

"Rags, we should go to a doctor to treat you right now." Buckfire says in worry.

"No, Get away from me!" Ragna says painfully as he attempts run out of the restaurant.

"Oh! Hey, wait!" Bullet says.

"I said, don't touch me!" Ragna screams as he turns to the exit.

"Wait! Good Guy, wait! You're all wobbly! Meow!" Taokaka says.

"Yeah, you should get yourself heal or else it might get worse." Buckfire adds.

"Don't touch me, Tao and Buckfire." Ragna screams as he runs out of the building.

"Rags/Good Guy, wait." Buckfire and Tao screams in usion as they follow right after, but Buckfire turned to Bullet "Can you go and finish our meal for us?"

"Sure, I was going to eat food anyway." Bullet says "Tell Ragna that I hope he's alright, even though I warn him about our next encounter."

"Sure thing, Bullet." Buckfire says as he runs out shortly after and Bullet looks at the door where the trio runs out before sigh and turn to the table.

"Man, what is happening around here?" Bullet asked as she sits down and starts eating, wonder what was all that about.

"So Kagura. About that plan…" Kokonoe says.

"Don't worry. This place isn't wired. You can speak your mind freely." Kagura says as he laughs abit while Hibiki nods.

"Good to hear. How's the preparation for the rebellion?" Kokonoe asked, getting straight to the point.

"I did suggest being frank, but isn't rebellion a little harsh? We're in the right, you know?" Kagura says with a smile on his face.

"Semantics." Kokonoe answer as she gives a wry smile at Kagura's joviality "Whether we call it an uprising, coup, or a revolution, it doesn't matter, I need you to debrief me on the situation."

"Disclosure to the Duodecim is on track thanks to my most able adjutant. We've received support from half of the members already." Kagura says.

"Yeah, but we have feedback. The one house we haven't been able to reach is Kisaragi's." Kagura says.

"Don't worry about that." Kokonoe says.

"You have a plan?" Kagura asked.

"Not as such, but I don't think they'll have a choice." Kokonoe answer.

"Well, whatever the case, we'll need him on our side, or they can become real trouble, real fast." Kagura says, worried on the thought of the Kisagari house attack them but decides to compose himself "That said, the fact that we have your trump card is huge."

"You mean Celica, right?" Kokonoe asked.

"Well, her, obviously… but I'm talking about the other one." Kagura answer.

"You've obtained it?" Kokonoe asked with wide eyes and shock voice.

"You can save your praise for later. Now, we just need to start filling in the gaps." Kagura says.

"Considering our conditions. I think we can say it's on schedule." Kokonoe says.

"Oh yea, those "reactive Warheads" you gathered… what are those for?" Kagura asked.

"Yuuki Terumi and Relius Clover huh…" Kokonoe says once she realizes who Kagura was referring to, which he nods "Very well. We can't proceed by ignoring them, either."

"If we could only predict their movement a little more… We might figure out what the Imperator or those two are up to." Kagura says.

"I see… then why don't we go looking for them?" Kokonoe asked.

"You have a hunch?" Kagura asked.

"Maybe." Kokonoe answer as she pulls off her phone and calls for someone "Yeah… it's me."

At a café in Yabiko, a showy store filled with happy young ladies. A place that Makoto and possibly Litchi fit right into. Celica was feeling a lightness of heart that she hadn't experienced in a long time, a gentle mix of nostalgia and childhood combine.

"I wonder what sweets are good Today?" Litchi asked, looking at the menu.

"They all look good." Celica says with a giggle "I'm going to get lemon tea and, hmmm, strawberry? But this chocolate looks good too!"

"I'm going to get Grape Cake and… Hmm, there's a black coffee as well! I'm getting this." Litchi says, looking at the options

"Hmm, not too sure on what should I get." Celica says.

"Why don't you try something." Litchi suggest.

After contemplating for a while, Celica decided on the strawberry shortcake she was originally looking at. They place their orders with the waitress that walked by and returned the menu.

"So many yummy things, so little room in my stomach." Celica sighs.

"It's easy when there's something you love, Celica!" Litchi advices "You Like Lemon teas, right?"

"Yes, and you like Grape right Litchi?" Celcia asked.

"Not really, it' just something I like has Grape in it." Litchi answer "But that doesn't mean that it isn't good on its own. It has a sweetness that will spread over your tongue when you chew one."

"Mmm… you're making me want some too…" Celica says.

"Yeah, it is quite tempted but if you want to order it, then go for it." Litchi says.

"B-No! I'm out of shape as it is. I have to endure…!" Celica says.

"Alright, If you say so." Litchi says as moments later, their orders arrived and they set to eating.

"" Celica says as she sits down.

"You have a point." Litchi says as she took a bite on her food "And the taste… It's good!"

"Really I've gotta take some." Celica says as she took a bite and enjoy it as a thought come up to her "mmm…! Hey, Miss Litchi…"

"Oh?" Litchi hums, wonder what Celica needs but realize it "You want to switch? I suppose since I was wonder what your cake tastes like!"

"Hehe, yeah. But the strawberry is still mine, thanks." Celica says cheerfully as they switched and she took a bite on Litchi's cake "Mmmm…"

Litchi soon takes a bite on Celica's Dish as both girls exhaled happily at the taste.

"This reminds me of the days when I used to be Kokonoe's Student." Litchi says, reminisce of the time.

"Oh, what kind of time was it?" Celica asked.

"It was rough with Kokonoe being strict and serious and the work can be plentiful but overall, manageable." Litchi says, slipping her coffee.

"I guess I was like that too in my school. But my grades weren't too good." Celica says, a bit sad.

"Hmm, I could understand." Litchi says "Celica, I'm really glad that we can have some time get to know each other."

"Yeah, me too Miss Litchi…" Celica says happily "Hey, where do you want to go after this?"

"Hmm, maybe Window shopping? Even though Days off are not much, a change of clothes can be quite refreshing at some point." Litchi answer as Celica nods happily but Litchi's Phone rang.

"Sorry! It's Professor Kokonoe!" Litchi says as she picks up the call "Hey, It's Litchi!"

"Apologies for bothering you while you're having fun, but I've got a something to tell you." Kokonoe says.

"Something?" Litchi asked.

"There's been rumors around that someone dangerous is around the area. I told Tager to stop what he's doing and replace you. Make use of your specialty." Kokonoe answer sharply.

"Uh… So I have to wait for Tager to come, right?" Litchi asked, looking over to the younger girl.

"Yeah, keep an eye on Celica till then." Kokonoe says as she close down her phone.

"Sorry Celica, but it seems like I had to go." Litchi says sorrow

"It's okay! You don't have to apologize, either. I had a lot of fun. Anyway - Be careful, okay?" Celica asked.

"Will do, Celica." Litchi says.

"Let's hang out for tea another time! And tell me more about your time with Kokonoe!" Celica says happily as the girls smiled and shook hands. It felt like a happy time that neither had for a long time.

"So this is Yakibo, right?" Rin asked in amazement as she, Vulturon and Mattrex just arrive to Yakibo City.

"Ye, this city looks shockingly beautiful at this time." Vulturon says with a smile as he enjoys the sight of evening Yakibo City.

"Indeed, the city has a beautiful sight to be hold." Mattrex says with a small smile.

"Anyways, let's get to the reason why we're here in the first place" Vulturon says, set his sight back to the reason why they're here.

"Right, we should start soon since the evening is right around the corner." Rin says.

"Since the sun is setting down, I'll call in some help." Vulturon says as he pulls out his guitar and let out a wave of energy, landing on the ground as Fenri appears, a normal look on his face.

"Alright, what is it that you need me for Boss?" Fenri ask, this time being a bit more serious.

"We need to go find Ragna and brother and you're the best person when come to searching at night." Vulturon answer.

"Spare me the flatter, boss. I'm just doing my job." Fenri says with a wave of his hand as he looks over to His boss Companions "I see that you two still fine, huh Rin and Mattrex?"

"Yes, we are Fenri." Mattrex answer.

"Good to hear, Mattrex." Fenri says with a small smile, grateful that they're alright as he turns to Rin "Well, better get started or you might never find what you're here for Rin."

"Uh, what are you talking about?" Rin asked, a little dread. She has a hint of what Fenri is talking about, but choose to not push it for now.

"Oh, don't be foolish. I figure out from yesterday that you were here for Ragna." Fenri says, his smile turns into a smirk.

"That's Ridiculous. Where do you come up with such a conclusion?" Rin asked.

"Have you forgotten how I was able to figure it out?" Vulturon says, a worry look on his face.

"I still remember, Fenri and Hyenard told you about it…" Rin answer as a realization comes to her.

"Yup, I was the one who figure out your reason." Fenri says smugly as Rin tries to find a way to rebut but can't find anything.

"I admit, You are more smarter than you look." Rin says with a sigh.

"Thanks for the compliment, Ms. Red." Fenri says, his smirk gone and replace with a chill look.

"What did you just call me?" Rin asked, her face light up from the nickname.

"You heard me." Fenri answer, giggle a bit.

"Alright, you two better stop this or else." Mattrex says, a little frustrated at Fenri's antic.

"Geez Rex, calm down. I'm just teasing Rin, nothing major." Fenri says, reassuring the Dinosaur. "Besides, you know well as I do that, I would never start a fight unless there's a reason."

"I know, I'm just being cautious." Mattrex says with a sigh.

"Yeah, we should get started." Vulturon answer, as he turns to Mattrex "Anyways, you should go with Rin while I go with Fenri."

"Oh, that's gentleman of you and sure." Rin says flattered as she and Mattrex walk to the downer part, leaving Vulturon and Fenri as they took the other path.

"So Fenri, aren't you a being a bit rocky on Rin?" Vulturon asked.

"Hmm, I'll take your word for it Matt." Rin says, somewhat doubtfully as the two continue their search.

"This is bad…" Ragna says as he runs to the streets, confuse by the sudden injuries "Think… what kind of attack was it? This is a slashing wound… Shit… I don't understand"

Those wounds were caused by magic. Even with the Azure Grimoire, those will not heal quickly. Magic attacks also cause scarring at the soul. Especially in your case, the Azure Grimoire will remember those even phenomena intervention. It's the same as with injuries sustained from a Nox Nyctronex. I'm sure you can recall those wounds?" "What? This Memory… Phenomena… intervention? Damn, I can't even think straight…" Ragna says in disbelief as he lays down bleeding.
