Chapter 80 Jerrod in Earthrealm

Jerrod was at Earthrealm and he looks around at the big city, since he was allowed to see the realm to learn more by his mother's request.
He then heard a sound and he bumps into a girl, he looks and saw it was Cassie.
"Huh?" She looks at him.
He blinks. "Your... My sister?"
"Sister? Oh we're siblings!" She got excited. "You must be one of my brothers daddy told me!"
"Yes." He nodded.
She hugs him and Jerrod got surprised by her reaction.
"I'm Cassie."
"I'm Jerrod."
"Wanna play Jerrod?" She asked.
"Um... I was more here for training." He said.
"Why? We should play. Big sis is even here." Cassie said.
"Big sis? Wait Nezuko!" He got surprised.
Nezuko appeared and hugs both siblings with Cassie smiling.
"I didn't expect Nezuko to be here." Jerrod said.
"She came to have fun." Cassie said.
She takes both siblings to the house, Sonya was looking for Cassie before Nezuko came inside going past her.
"Nezuko?" She goes after her.
She then saw them sitting at the couch and she stares at the scene.
"Wait are you Kitana's son?" She asked since she remembers a picture of him.
"Yes, my name is Jerrod." He said.
"Well, it seems your mom let you come here." Sonya said.
"Yes, I wanted to see Earthrealm for my own training. Since father is seeing another realm at this point." He said.
"That's Hiro alright. Always traveling to help others in need." She chuckles. "How about you stay over since Cassie would like to spend time with you."
"Oh, okay." he said.
Nezuko holds them both as Cassie giggles.
"Nezuko is responsible looking after you two. So respect your older sister." She told them.
"Okay." Cassie said.
Jerrod nodded and knows that Nezuko is now the strongest out of all the siblings.
Nezuki turns on the tv and they watched cartoons with her clapping many times excited with Cassie copying her.
Jerro stares at his older sister since he barely saw her get this excited before at Edenia. Then again tv isn't something in his realm.
"Your father is just seeing your other siblings so he would take some time before coming back." Sonya said. "I'll make lunch so i'll be going."
They nodded and she goes to the kitchen.
"Your mom always cooks?" Jerrod asked.
"Yeah. Sometimes she has a friend come when work calls her. Since she's a cool soldier." Cassie saluted. "Also she even has this army uniform."
"Wait really?" he said.
She takes him up and shows a stand with her mom's uniform. (MK Deadly Alliance Alt)
"Wow," He said.
"Yeah, she was cool getting the badges." She pointed at them.
"Does your mother still wear that?" He asked.
"Just for events. Since she said she prefers her normal outfits for battle." Cassie answered.
He nodded since it could not do well in a fight seeing the clothing his own mom wears.
"Your mom always wears her battle gear?" Jerrod said.
"Just in the day and she said you never know when duty calls." Cassie said.
"Oh okay."
Nezuko came and grabbed they're hands taking them out.
"Oh is it ready?" Cassie asked.
She nodded many times.
"How can you understand Nezuko since some of us at Edenia can never understand how she feels?" Jerrod asked Cassie.
"Her face says it all for me."
Jerrod looks at Nezuko's face and wonders if he can do the same to understand his own sister, since she has the bamoo to control her powers just so she won't be able to drink human blood.
'Nezuko is strong but father wants her to be safe and not harm others should she lose control of her powers.'
He has seen Hiro train Nezuko many times and Nezuko is already treated as the strongest sibling but they're father thanks to her age and skills.
He wonders if he can keep up with Nezuko one of these days since even without a rider power Nezuko's potential is big to the point she gave his own mom trouble many times.
He has seen many great warriors train her from Nightwolf and even Fujin the god of wind. They have taught her control and skills for the future by Hiro's request and she has grown more and more each passing day.
He even remember Raiden talking to Hiro when he was inside his room, he told Hiro that Nezuko can even grow to surpass even Shao Kahn in strenght when she gets a few more years.
He has heard of Shao Kahn being one of the most dangerous tyrants in all of Outworld. And the man that killed his grandfather who he was named after.
Sonya was at the table and sees the kids coming. She rubs Nezuko and Cassie's heads making them smile.
Jerrod watches and smiles too since his mother always takes care of him in the same way too. Maybe this won't be so bad seeing his other siblings, he just doesn't know if he should visit the ones in Outworld.
His brother who's also his cousin could be bad for him since he's Mileena's son. He read the books about her and she can be very dangerous when in battle and the fact his father married her too must have been mostly for a alliance.
'I hope your okay dad.'
They ate together and Jerrod enjoyed the food since it was better than what the servants do for him. He smiles since a home cooked meal is better than something someone was ordered to do.
'I can see why dad enjoys Earthrealm a lot.'
He only had cooking like this when his grandmother Takajo would make him food when he visits her.
She was always a very kind woman.
