It was already dawn when Percy finally finished setting up their temporary camp on the outskirts of the woods by the seashore. He had gently moved and placed Lou and Artemis in the sleeping bags on some soft grass with a small fire to keep them warm as the sun settled. During moments like this, he appreciated his parentage and didn't mind the cold or hot. While it still did annoy him to some point, it was almost like a slight discomfort rather than it being crucial for his survival if temperatures were extreme on either end. He had also taken a couple of sips of water and felt way better than when they first appeared so it was no inconvenience for him.

As a couple of hours flew by with the two of the girls taking a rest, he took some time to read about the world that they were in from the book that Hecate had provided them with. Most of history, at least mortal history, was still the same with the simple fact that instead of demigods and gods being the influence during the world wars, it was the wizarding kind who influenced the wars. He was surprised at hearing about the most feared Dark Wizard in history, Gellert Grindelwald, who was defeated by the school headmaster they were trying to get into, Albus Dumbledore.

However, Percy paid most attention to the ten-year war that took place during the 70s and early 80s. It was a war that disputed the two bands, the pure-blood and non-pure-bloods. The pureblood side was being led by the most feared wizard in England of the last decades, Voldemort, and the non-pureblood side was being led by Dumbledore. It didn't go into much detail about the battles nor exactly who died, but it did give brief descriptions of the battles and how it was only Dumbledore the only who was capable of fighting Voldemort and coming out alive.

A couple of examples of families that opposed the Dark Lord and didn't survive were a couple of pureblood families along with the Potters, with the latter being the most famous example. The Potter family had opposed Voldemort and eventually met their end on October 31st, 1981. However, it was also the day that the Dark Lord had been defeated by the youngest of the Potter family, Harry Potter, barely a year old and was able to renounce the killing curse shot at him back to Voldemort essentially ending the Dark Lord and the war that was almost lost.

However, while most of wizarding Britain believed that story, Percy didn't. He had been known to do the impossible and beat beings older than the Olympians, however, he didn't believe for a second that it was Harry or something he did as a child that saved him from dying at Voldemort's killing curse. While many would disagree with Percy just for his own opinion on itself, there were just too many things that proved that statement wrong.

First and foremost, the fact that Harry, a child barely older than a year old, was capable of bouncing off a killing curse back to the caster was just not possible. The second fact was that nobody was there that night to know if what was written about that night was true or not. The third and most important fact was that the killing curse left no mark on whoever it struck as well as it didn't make someone's body evaporate or destroy it. The fact that Harry had a scar on his forehead in the form a lightning bolt and that Voldemort's body was never retrieved completely prove everything that was known about the killing curse false.

No, Percy didn't believe for a moment that it was Harry's doing what ended the war. What he actually believed was that it had been the intervention from a third party, most probably Harry's parents. He had read that Harry's mother, Lily Potter nee Evans, was a prodigy in charms and potions, while his father, James Potter, was a prodigy in transfiguration and worked as an auror during the war being amongst the best in the force.

So, taking into consideration that his parents were with him that night and died fighting for their son's life, it didn't take much thinking to figure out that it had been either parent or one of them who did something to save Harry that night. He would bet on Harry's mother, Lily, to have done something since she was the expert in charms and potions so it wasn't that farfetched that she found a way to protect Harry. However, as of that moment, it was nothing but pure speculation on Percy's part and couldn't be proven until he had proof, or maybe never since it had been almost 13 years since that night and everything had been wiped out.

Percy's thoughts were interrupted when he heard the shuffling coming from beside him. He looked over and saw that Lou was the one waking up while Artemis still looked to be out cold. Maybe she would sleep over the night since she was actually a mortal and not a demigod like them so it was no surprise that the travel had taken more out of her.

Lou groaned and sleepily rubbed her eyes trying to get the last of her exhaustion out of her system. Her hair was slightly disheveled and had a few grass needles. However, instead of making her look hilarious, the moonlight shining on her silver hair just made her look ethereal.

Percy had to take a moment to get a hang of himself. He had known that Lou was a very beautiful girl, well, now a young adult woman barely 19 years old, but he had never looked at her anyway other than a close friend. However, seeing her at that moment made him realize that maybe his opinion of her was a bit different than he had always believed.

The daughter of Hecate was still wearing her tight white blouse with her dark green leather jacket, black jeans, and training shoes. However, she now was also wearing a gray winter jacket that Percy had put on her when the temperature had gone down.

Lou took notice of where she found herself and what she was now wearing. She looked over at Percy only to see him looking at her with a strange look on his face and a slight tinge of pink on his cheeks. She was so confused by the sudden strange look on his face that she completely forgot that she was going to ask him what happened after she passed out.

"What? Do I have something on my face?" Lou asked with a tone tinge of playfulness.

"You got grass in your hair,"

Lou's eyes widened before she quickly padded her hair with one hand only to pull out a few blades of grass. She blushed at finally understanding that she looked like she had taken a roll on the grass. She quickly snapped her fingers and Percy watched in somewhat awe as the grass quickly left her head and her hair arranged itself to be as well-kept as she had it earlier that day.

"Thanks,"

Percy nodded and Lou stood up to stretch her limbs. Her actions only made her figure stand out to Percy who had been trying too hard not to think inappropriately of her just became harder.

"How long have we been out for?"

"I don't know, maybe a couple of hours, three at most," Percy shrugged his shoulders.

"Oh, I'm so sorry for leaving you alone to watch over us while we passed out," Lou apologized and Percy could tell that she was being genuine.

"No worries, Lou," Percy waved her off with a smile that she could only return. "You know that as long as I have water I can keep myself going for days with no sleep,"

It was true as she had discovered during the first few weeks after the wars. Percy wasn't the only one who suffered from PTSD from the wars and had spent a lot of nights with no sleep. Lou was somewhat similar to him due to her being more personal as most of her siblings at the time had joined the Titans' army and she had to kill one or two of them during the battles. It wasn't the same as killing a demigod to killing a monster. Monsters regenerated while humans didn't. If you killed a demigod that decision was forever and they would never come back, at least not as their original selves.

"You can't just not sleep, Percy. We've talked about this," She sighed as she took a seat next to him watching out towards the sea. "I know we haven't talked as we frequently did due to you spending your time in San Francisco, but I still remember the promise we made each other that night,"

Percy nodded as he knew Lou was right. They had made a promise about two months after the end of the Second Giant War during one of their nights out by the lake. It had been a night where his nightmares about Tartarus had been the worst; reliving his time being tortured by Akhlys, the absolute misery of being soaked in the River Acheron, the painful and stabbing sensation of every step he took, the toxic air that was slowly killing him, and the absolute agony of having no one with him but himself to keep carrying on. After all, he fell into the worst place in Greek mythology by himself after saving Annabeth. It had been a miracle he had survived the fall even more he had survived that Hell alone.

His nightmares had been so out of control that he decided to not sleep until he fell asleep from exhaustion and that was almost impossible if he kept himself hydrated and took a dip in the lake. He had actually been out there that night to get a dip when he found Lou there like he always did after a night of terrors.

That night was the night that they made the promise of going to sleep no matter what because there were people who depended on them and would feel pain if they saw them the way they were struggling with nightmares. They promised to do it whenever they had the chance and thus started the little tradition that whenever the other had a bad night, they would spend the following morning by the lake just gazing out into the horizon until they felt better.

"Ah, alright," Percy sighed defeatately as Lou grinned victoriously. "Wake me up if something is happening or need me," Percy decided not to fight Lou on the topic since he knew that the daughter of Hecate would eventually win the argument regardless of what excuses he gave her and because of their promise.

"Sure, I'll call you if something happens," Lou smiled at him before snapping her fingers and the sleeping bag from his bag came out and stretched itself for him. "Good night,"

"Good night,"

It didn't take long for Percy to fall asleep and when Lou had made sure that he was asleep, she looked over to Artemis' laid form.

"You can get up now, Artemis,"

If the former goddess had been surprised by Lou's statement, she didn't show it after she got out of her bag and sat next to the daughter of Hecate. The two young women just sat there in silence with the crackling fire behind them.

"You two seem rather close," Artemis commented, breaking the silence between them.

"Yes, we spent a good amount of time after the wars talking," Lou sighed softly as her mind reminded her of those nights and mornings by the lake. "We both suffered from the wars. In different ways but still suffered a lot from them,"

Artemis winced at Lou's response as she knew that she wouldn't understand what either of them nor any of the demigods, had gone through during the wars. She was an immortal being, someone who took the death of mortals as something she saw every day for her entire life while she would never die, well, that was until she either faded or the Earth ended, but even before the Earth ended they would've moved to another civilization out in the universe.

"I'm sorry for what you and everyone had to go through during the wars, especially Percy," Lou nodded at Artemis' words as they were never truer words said. "But we gods don't see death as any of you do, at least what I used to think," Artemis muttered the last part that Lou could barely distinguish the words from the crackling fire.

"What do you mean by that? I know that since you are all immortal beings you do not see death the same as us mortals do, but how different do you see it?" Lou was genuinely curious about the former goddess' response.

"You gotta understand that while most immortals do not get involved with mortals besides having children, they do not see death as anything other than the cycle of life," Artemis shrugged her shoulders as if saying that that wasn't her own opinion. "For me, death is like your resting place for the rest of eternity unless you decide to go to rebirth or are sent to punishment. When one of my hunters would die I would be upset and sometimes feel like a failure for their death, but I would always sleep well knowing that they are finally resting in the afterlife for their life of duty to me and the good of the world,"

Lou was quiet as she nodded at the goddess' response. She knew that death was painful for those who were close to the deceased. However, what Artemis said was also true. They had served a life of duty at her side to hunt and kill monsters to save other demigods from dying at them. While the hunters weren't looked at in a good light in either of the camps, they were doing it for the better of demigods and for them to live longer lives without the bigger danger of more monsters.

"Are we different from regular mortals in the way that we aren't as physically strained or affected by wars and death?"

"You are," Artemis nodded as she looked up at the stars and frowned as she noticed that Zoe's constellation was missing in this world. "Demigods are much more evolved than mortals when it comes to anything related to battle. You are stronger, faster, more durable, and much more adaptable than regular mortals. However, you aren't only physically better but also mentally. You are naturally born with a brain for better tactics, instincts, and processing moments of great pain and tragedy. We gods aren't affected by such things, at least nowhere as near as regular mortals are, so you are also like us in that regard,"

They were quiet for the following minutes as each thought of different things.

Lou was thinking about how true and logical Artemis' words were. She knew that while immortals could be temperamental and sometimes outright childish, they were much better at handling their actions. If they weren't as mature as they were, the entire world would be in chaos and destruction due to them being as petty and as rancorous as mortals. It was one of those moments in which she was glad divine beings knew what they were capable of and were holding back.

Artemis for her part was just thinking about the dozens of her hunters who had died during the years at her service. Most of them died a very honorable death by saving other hunters or some innocent mortal. The ones who died differently were Bianca and Zoe. The two of them had died in the quest to save her and thus why they had severely affected her even if she hadn't shown it. Zoe, her oldest friend and lieutenant had died right in front of her after saving her from the Titan General. Bianca, while she wasn't there to see her death, had felt her connection to her vanished while she held the weight of the sky.

The former goddess was very grateful to the son of Poseidon for giving her the chance to fight Atlas by taking the weight of the sky even if he knew he could die holding it. She had tried to dissuade him from holding it by saying that the only reason the daughter of Annabeth had been able to hold it was that she had the courage and spirit of a huntress even if it had been a lie. The only reason Annabeth had been able to hold the sky was that every demigod could do it, even if for a very short amount of time, but would eventually succumb to the weight of it. After all, the weight of the sky had originally been held off by the four Titans: Hyperion, Coeus, Crios, and Iapetus; before it was held by Atlas alone. Only Titans could be forced beneath the weight of the sky while anyone else had to take it willingly, that was why they had used Annabeth to trick her underneath her or otherwise, she never could've taken it by being forced like Atlas or any other Titan.

However, being reminded of that tragic night made her thoughts focus on the sleeping son of Poseidon just a couple of feet from her. He had been an anomaly when he first arrived. Nobody knew if he would be persuaded by the Titans or not, but after she personally saw his own determination and will, she knew that he would die before letting Olympus fall. It was also the fact that Zoe, the biggest man-hater she had known besides maybe Phoebe and herself to some degree, that she finalized her opinion of him.

Artemis couldn't think of any other more noble and honorable demigod in her life besides maybe the original Perseus, but other than him, nobody else could amount to Percy. It was a great change of sight to have the son of Poseidon as their savior instead of an arrogant demigod son of her father. After all, it did serve to bring down her father's ego and start understanding that the children of his brothers could be stronger than his, Percy being the strongest to ever live.

Over the course of the years, Percy's actions only gained him more of her respect. He wasn't selfish with his two wishes after the wars and he demonstrated it by rejecting godhood twice and using his wishes for the betterment of demigods and those other immortals being suppressed by the major gods and Titans. It was only because of him that Olympus was at its strongest point in the history of allies, power, and influence. And it was well known to everyone that it was only due to Percy's actions that Olympus was stronger than it ever was before, even when they were openly worshiped in ancient Greece and Rome.

It was also due to it being a publicly known fact that Percy's actions were why Olympus was so strong that everyone respected him and those he saw as friends and family. Nobody dared to do anything to the son of Poseidon unless they wanted to suffer at the hands of Percy, or even worse, deal with a furious and bloodthirsty god of the seas for daring to act against his favorite son.

"What do you think we should do to infiltrate Hogwarts?" Lou asked after a couple of minutes of silence went by. "We are already too old to enroll in it and three Americans entering it at the same time would be very suspicious,"

Artemis nodded as she had also given it a thought. They were in a very difficult situation as there was no other way for them to infiltrate Hogwarts. The school was very selective and hired the best educators the world had to offer, well, maybe just except for the defense class from what they read in the book.

It was at that moment that Artemis' eyes widened when an idea came to her mind. She turned to the daughter of Hecate with wide eyes and a growing smile.

"What? What do you have in mind?"

"Oh, it is a good idea, but also a very bad one,"

Line Break

It was the following morning of June 3rd, 1994 when the trio found themselves walking through the busy streets of Diagon Alley. They had been initially surprised and amazed at seeing so many displays of magic across the entire area but eventually got over it, especially Lou and Artemis. Both women had been used to seeing magic over their life so what they saw were very simple uses of magic that even Artemis could perform as a goddess without having the domain of magic.

They had one destination in mind and they reached it once they reached a tall white marble building which was slightly slanted to the side with the huge stone statue of a dragon on top of it. The building was the most luxurious out of the entire alley and they knew that they were in the right place.

"What do you think about goblins?" Percy asked both of his companions as they stood outside of the marble building.

"That they are greedy and treacherous creatures that I'm glad they went extinct in our world," Artemis muttered with clear disdain and disgust in her voice. "Our time in the British Isles may have been a great one, but one I definitely hated with so many goblins and leprechauns running around causing so much havoc,"

Both demigods turned with raised eyes and curious expressions on their faces towards the former goddess.

"What?"

"No, it's just that it is surprising to hear you talk so bad about something or someone that isn't the male gender," Lou explained which caused Artemis to blush slightly at her accusation.

"Well, neither of you were alive at the time and anyone at Olympus would tell you the same thing I did," Artemis looked away before looking at the building. "Come on, the sooner we get this over, the less likely I am to kill them,"

Artemis marched forward with Percy and Lou following behind her with slightly worried expressions. They knew that anything could trigger the former goddess and needed to keep her in check if they didn't want to end up having a fight with the goblin race.

When they went through the doors, they noticed how fancy and stylized it looked inside. It was a building that was trying to replicate the ancient Roman and Greek buildings but was still lacking something. It was like they were almost there but didn't get it correctly.

"Name and business," A goblin teller asked as they approached the main desk.

"Perseus Jackson along with Lou Ellen Blackstone and Erza Rose. We are here today to see if we can open an account," Percy was the one who they decided to talk to for them as he was the more level-headed out of the three of them with Lou being too shy sometimes and Artemis too bluntly, even more than Percy.

The goblin teller looked up at them before nodding, punching a piece of paper, and giving one half to Percy.

"Take a seat, you will call in soon by your number,"

The trio soon took their seats and patiently waited in silence for their turn. The waiting area was just like any other one they had been to; a couple of chairs, a table with magazines, and a few plants. It looked like a very mundane waiting room but neither of them commented anything. They also noticed that the goblin tellers and other goblins were wearing business suits while other goblins were wearing armor and weapons, a clear division between their security and regular staff.

Seeing them carrying spears and short swords made Percy melancholic about Riptide. He had been without his trusty sword for about a day and he still felt naked and defenseless without it. He would have to find at least a dagger to keep hidden on him at all times.

It took about ten minutes before they were called by a goblin by one of the doors to the sides. They passed a set of guards and followed behind the creature until they were left in front of a door with the name Grimshaw on it.

"Mr. Jackson, Ms. Blackstone, and Ms. Rose," The goblin greeted them with a clear discontent and bored face. "You three wanted to open accounts for each of you?"

"Yes, we would appreciate it if we could open one," Lou spoke before Artemis could say anything from the clear discontent expression at being greeted in such a disrespectful way.

"How much are you going to be depositing on each of your accounts?"

"750 British pounds each," Percy responded.

That was just how much money they had separated from the rest as each had a thousand pounds to spend. It was a very generous amount of money that had been given to them by Hecate in their bags but it was just to get them started as only three thousand pounds wouldn't be enough to support them three years or maybe more.

"That would be around 107 galleons along with some knuts and sickles," The goblin then took out three sets of papers and placed them in front of each of them along with three quills. "Fill these forms with your information while I count the money," Percy nodded before giving him the envelope with the money inside it. "As part of our regulations, we need to take a sample of each of your blood to tie your vaults to each of you and future generations along with doing a regular background check to see if you are part of any family,"

They were initially surprised but nodded, thought Percy more reluctant than the two females. He still remembered how it was his blood that had revived Gaea during the war with the Gigantes at the Acropolis in Greece. Ever since then, he had been much more cautious about his blood and any injury he got.

They filled the papers and soon enough took the blood tests. They didn't expect to get any results as they were demigods with no clear ties in the wizarding world, however, the wide eyes of the goblin made them realize that maybe they were wrong.

"This is impossible," The goblin muttered with wide eyes of disbelief as he saw the results on the papers. "You are part of two of our most ancient families," He looked at Percy and Lou. "Mr. Jackson, you are a member of the Coldwater family, a family believed to have gone extinct a couple of centuries ago almost a century after Gringotts opened," Then he looked at Lou. "And you Ms. Blackstone are also part of a similar family by the name of Bloodworth, also thought to have gone extinct about two centuries ago,"

The trio was surprised by the goblin's words and were seriously confused as to how they were related to any family from that world if they didn't exist here. It was something that they would have to talk about later but they still needed to get the entire bank business over with.

"And what does it mean?" Artemis asked since she wasn't as shocked as the two demigods.

"It means that everything in those vaults belongs to them as they are the last of their families and all it needs to be done is some paperwork as the blood test already proved that you are members of such families as well as the last of them," The goblin said before touching a rune on his desk and speaking a weird language that they all guessed was goblin language.

"How much are we talking about here?"

"For you Ms. Blackstone, we are talking about three vaults; one of these vaults is filled with artifacts, another with a total of 122, 134 galleons, and the last one is filled with books," He then turned to Percy. "For you Mr. Jackson, are three vaults as well: one with artifacts, another one with a total of 102, 533 galleons, and one final vault with books as well,"

"And you know this all by memory?" Artemis skeptically asked as she never saw the goblin look at papers or anything.

"I do not need to see any papers since my family has been the caretakers of those two vaults as we are as old as the vaults themselves here," The goblin snarked at Artemis who held back her own for the benefit of not causing a scene. "Every month we take statements of each vault and create records at the end of each month. Those two vaults haven't been moved at all for the last couple of centuries so there has been no change on them whatsoever,"

Both Percy and Lou were shocked at hearing that they had some form of familial connection in this world and they could all think that it was no doubt from their divine blood side. The gods must've had a few children in this world who created their own families but went extinct a couple of centuries prior, which was perfect if they didn't want to get into the whole bloodline issues with them and try to explain how they were related.

"Would you like to visit your vaults?" The goblin asked and both demigods shared a look but eventually their heads.

"Not at the moment," Lou responded.

"We got other things to take care of," Percy continued before he saw that within the benefits of the vaults they received a bottomless pouch that could take at most 500 galleons per week without extra cost. "Though I would like to get my own bottomless pouch that comes included with it,"

It seemed that the goblin was hoping for them to not read that part of the contract and with a very big and slightly uncomfortable frown, he nodded before snapping his fingers and two brown leather pouches appeared in front of them.

"They are already linked to the vaults, any retrieves higher than 500 galleons per week will include a 25% tax from Gringotts,"

"25%! That's a scam," Lou exclaimed. "Most banks charge at most 4-5% or a fixed fee,"

"We aren't like any of those pesky and inefficient muggle banks," The goblin spat before a sick grin appeared on his face making him look even more ugly. "We are, after all, the only magical bank in Britain and thus you have no other option,"

Everyone was by then irritated and annoyed with the goblin, Artemis was holding herself back from strangling the goblin for trying to rip them off. However, Percy was the more diplomatic of the three, and thus why he took once again charge.

"Alright, that will be all from us for today,"

"Out," The goblin barked before making a shooing motion with his hand. "Time is money and you are taking my time,"

All three left the bank with really soured moods, especially a former goddess, but they now had 'legal' identities and all there was left to do was file it with the Ministry of Magic. Lou and Percy didn't have to worry about money, at least not for the foreseeable future and Artemis was under Percy's service so she didn't have to worry about it either.

"Now to the ministry?" Percy asked as they walked down the street.

"Yes, but we still need to take our OWLs and NEWTs," Lou reminded them which caused Percy to groan.

"Do we really need to?" Both women sent Percy an 'Are you serious' look which he promptly held his arms up in surrender. "Alright alright. Jeez, don't take it too personally,"

They had decided to go forth with Artemis' plan that same morning, with much reluctance from Percy's side, so they needed to get some educational records in order to go ahead with the former goddess' plan. Percy wasn't too excited about it, but he knew that it was their only way to get into Hogwarts, and what better way than to work for the school you want to join if you are already past the age of a student?

"So we are all aiming for different positions?" Percy asked to make sure as they approached the big marble building.

"Yes," Lou nodded before taking out her notebook. "I'm going for the new class of Theory of Magic; Artemis is going to be the assistant for Care of Magical Creatures; you are going to go for muggle studies," She closed her book with a big grin on her face. "It should be easy, after all, the most advanced thing they teach is how muggle kitchen and public products work,"

"Yeah, surely it will be easy,"

Line Break

Much to Percy's disbelief, the test had been very easy. The most complicated questions he had gotten from the test were about how to use a car and telephone, which was a bit outdated since they were in 1994 compared to the year that they currently were in his home world, 2012. It was, to say the least, that he had gotten an O, which stood for outstanding, and not only that, but also his knowledge of magical creatures had given him an EE along with astronomy, it was a requirement to know astronomy if you were a demigod to know the history it involved with the gods.

Meanwhile, Lou had taken most of the tests in a single sitting as they were a piece of cake for her. She had taken the potions, charms, transfiguration, DADA, care for magical creatures, history of magic, theory of magic which was a new one that was rarely taken along with alchemy, which she also took. It wasn't any surprise to either Percy or Artemis that Lou had passed all of the exams with at least an EE and better, which gave her more than plenty of chances to get the teaching job at Hogwarts.

Artemis just took muggle history, cared for magical creatures, and astronomy, the same ones as Percy, but she had gotten Os on all of them since she practically had all that knowledge memorized to the smallest of details. The proctors of the exams had been amazed by how quickly and effortlessly she had finished the Astronomy and cared for magical creatures to the point of asking her if she was sure of her submission.

Eventually, they received their scores a couple of hours later that same day since they had paid for the same-day results exams. Everybody who was part of the magical community had the right to one free OWL and NEWT set of exams and them to be delivered later, however, if someone were to take them later once again, they would have to pay for that second set of exams plus the same-day results if they wanted or just wait the official 10-15 business days.

So, with their results in hand, they sent their letters of application to Hogwarts that they had taken from the education department in the ministry since there were some openings and desperately looking for staff. They had been curious about it but just chalked it up to some teachers leaving their positions at the same time without having replacements.

"So you think we will get in?" Percy curiously asked as he took a seat on the couch within their three-bedroom apartment in muggle London by the south of Chelsea.

"Most probably," Lou simply responded as she was nose-deep into the book they had been given by Hecate.

"You just say that because you Aced all of your exams," Percy grumbled, a bit annoyed and disappointed with himself for lacking in the education department but didn't feel too bad about it since he practically knew zero about magic.

"Hey, with time and practice you can do as well as I did," Lou reaffirmed him as she closed the book. "I didn't learn everything in a single day or just because I am the daughter of the Titaness of Magic. Sure, it is easier for me to learn and perform magic, but I still have to learn from scratch,"

That made Percy feel better. He remembered when he started as a demigod and had to learn his powers from zero all by himself and how difficult it had been in the beginning. However, the more he used them and learned, the better he got, and with time, he was able to get to the point he was today, which was farther than any other demigod had gotten in their powers. He was able to perform feats of his power that normally took a lot from other children of Poseidon.

"Yes, you are right,"

"Come here, I'll start by teaching you the basics that you will need to know if you are going to be a professor," Lou spoke in a mock English accent that made Percy chuckle.

"Yeah, the accent doesn't fit you,"

"You are just jealous of my perfectly natural accent," Lou raised her nose in mock annoyance and still used the fake accent. "Now, let's get started with basic charms to use in a classroom,"

Percy shook his head in amusement before he sat alongside her and paid attention. For one of the few times in his life, he was actually to concentrate and pay attention to the interesting and vast subject of magic.

However, as the demigod duo concentrated on their private lesson, they didn't notice Artemis' watchful gaze from the kitchen with a pensive look on her face.

During her entire immortal time alive, she had never had the reason to just sit down and watch other demigods interact the way the son of Poseidon and daughter of Hecate were doing. Sure, she had watched her hunters always interact with one another during the millennia that she had been at the head of the hunt, but they always spoke about the same topics: archery, animals, monsters, the mortal world, and how tire they were.

Her life had become a very repetitive lifestyle that she didn't know was getting to her until now. She enjoyed being here, even if she was a mortal woman much to her displeasure but being able to just sit back and see how two demigods who had suffered and lived through two of the hardest wars in history was just different.

Seeing the most powerful demigod to exist as well as the one who saved Olympus and the world more than anybody else act so noble and mundane was amazing. She had seen people who had done things that couldn't reach Percy's heels in accomplishments think they deserved the world and receive undeserved acknowledgment and it had always been the same, until now that was. The son of Poseidon had shattered every ideology she had about heroes and those who become famous by his actions over the years as well as his denial of godhood twice in order to make the world a better place for demigods and those immortals who weren't appreciated or noticed by the Olympians as they should've since the beginning.

Then there was the daughter of Hecate. Probably one of the strongest daughters of the Titaness of Magic she had ever come across. Sure, Circe was the strongest daughter of the Titaness of Magic to ever live, but Artemis knew that with time Lou would surely live to rival Circe's magic and power.

However, Lou didn't let that power and knowledge get to her head and become arrogant or malignant like her sister. No, she was one of the best demigoddesses she had come across with a friendly character but a fierce determination. She could see just how much she cared about the son of Poseidon to the point of not being sure if Lou's feelings extended friendly or brotherly love, but she wasn't going to get involved in businesses that weren't her own.

"There you go!" Artemis' mussings were interrupted by Lou's excited voice. "You got the levitation charm quickly," She looked up to see Percy pointing his wand at the coffee table with said brown wood table being levitated a foot or two from the ground.

"Alright, now we should get on the mending and cleaning charms,"

Artemis could only smile in amusement at seeing Percy's excited expression on his face, his entire mind being taken completely by the amazement and wonderful subject of magic and what he could do with it. It made her happy to see the most deserving hero to exist be happy when most of his life had been filled with hardships and pain to levels that no other mortal would ever know. She herself didn't know what type of pain the Hero of Olympus had to go through in order to escape the hell hole called Tartarus. After all, she had never been there and was thankful for that as she didn't want to know what the most feared place in existence was like.

"No! You can't use the cleaning charm on yourself!"
