In the 25th century, Eobard Thawne was feeling very proud of himself. After regaining his speed, Thawne traveled back to his home time period, since before he could resume his war on the Flash, he needed to tie up loose ends, since he'd all but conquered his own time period due to being the most powerful metahuman on the planet, but he'd left his empire unsecured when he'd run off to kill the Flash as a child.

After returning home, Thawne had quickly demolished the rebel movement that had formed in his absence, though luckily, his generals had managed to keep order for the most part and Thawne had finished it off when he returned, crushing them like gnats.

Now he was standing at the top of Zoom Tower, making arrangements for his return to the 21st century, since this time he would not be going alone. He just needed to figure out which troops to leave behind, since while the rebellion had been crushed for the most part, there were still a few loose ends who managed to escape and he couldn't leave his empire unsecured.

Especially since it appeared that he'd traded fighting one speedster for another. An irritating pest from the Anvil, the area where the lower class of citizens lived in his city of Thawne-opolis, who called herself Silver Bolt. Thawne had no idea who she was, but the only saving grace was that she was no Flash. She was very inexperienced with her powers and clearly had no idea what she was doing. Yet. Clearly this girl, whoever she was, was trying to be a hero. And while right now she wasn't a threat herself, what she represented did. Because what she represented was hope. For a future without him leading it. Hope in another Flash. And that made her dangerous.

But that didn't matter right now. As much of a pain as she's been to his men, she was still smart enough to know that she couldn't challenge him directly. And in fact, she made life interesting for his troops. Helping people, pulling pets out of trees, scaring his patrols, all that did was give them a challenge, keep them sharp. But she wasn't a real threat to him. Not yet. And she never would be.

"Eobard, what are you doing?" Thawne heard a female voice say from behind him and Thawne smiled as he turned to see one of the few people he cared about, the only woman he'd ever loved, his wife, Meena Dhawan-Thawne, walked up to him, looking as beautiful as ever.

"Just making sure everything is in order for my next trip." Eobard said as he took his wife in his arms.

"You're leaving again so soon? You just got back and I know it was 15 years for you, but it was still a long 5 years for me and our sons." Meena said, since Thawne hadn't been able to return to the exact time he'd left. He'd come home 5 years later than he'd planned too.

"I know. But as long as Flash is alive, he's a threat to everything we've built here." Eobard said.

"He's never come to this time period before. Stay and enjoy what we've built here. Together." Meena said, since her scientific mind had helped Thawne conquer this time period and she'd been the one ruling in his stead while he was gone.

"You know I can't. He hates me as much as I hate him. But this time I'm not going after him alone. And when I'm done, we can expand our eminence to every inch of the timeline. He's the only one who can undo everything we've built and I will not allow that to happen." Eobard said.

"Who are you? Because I'm not sure if you're still the man I fell in love with. The man I betrayed every principle I have on the basis that we were going to change the world for the better. That everything we've done has been for the betterment of mankind." Meena said.

"And it has. Don't you remember what the world was like before we took charge? The crime, the poverty, the hunger, this world was on the brink of yet another extinction level event. And yet now, it's utopia. Everything we have done has been a blessing." Thawne reminded her.

"I know. But that doesn't make it any easier when you vanish to attempt to kill your nemesis and don't come back for god knows how long. And you don't seem to care about what your absences do to me." Meena said tearfully as Thawne saw just how badly Meena was hurting.

"Meena, there is nothing more important to me than you and our boys. But as long as the Flash is out there, he is a threat to everything. And I don't want to risk him destroying this peace. But I will stick around for a while, let my generals play with him for a while before I go back." Thawne said and Meena smiled at that.

"That's all I can ask for right now. To hear that you're just as committed to everything we've built as you were the day we met." Meena said, right as Thawne got a call from one of his patrollers.

"What is it?" Thawne asked.

"Sir, we've honed in on Silver Bolt." the patroller said and Thawne grinned.

"Take care of it. Remove the last trace of that pathetic rebellion. By any means necessary." Thawne said.

"Yes sir." the patroller said.

Silver Bolt was racing through the city, desperate to escape the Thawne patrollers hunting her, quickly speeding into her base, but knowing that she didn't have much time until the defenses were breached.

"About time Nova." a male voice said and Silver Bolt turned to see her one ally, Erickson Thawne, the oldest son of their despot leader Eobard Thawne, the Reverse Flash or as some called him now, Professor Zoom.

"Erikson, you scared me." Silver Bolt said as she removed her mask to reveal the face of Nova Beretta. The speedster hero of the 25th century. Or at least she was trying to be. But she was no Flash.

"You need to go. My dad finally has you cornered and as far as he knows, there's no escape. You have to get out of here." Erikson said.

"And go where. There's nowhere on Earth I can run that your dad can't find me. It's a miracle I've made it this far. I was deluding myself into thinking that I could be the next Flash." Nova said.

"Which is why you're not going anywhere in this time period. There's only one place you'll be safe is in the past." Erikson said as he revealed the time sphere he'd built, since while he was no speedster, he had inherited his father's genius.

"Go back in time?" Nova asked.

"It's your only option and not just for you. I got a look at some of my dad's plans. He wants to take his army and use it to conquer the Flash's time period. You have to go back in time and not only warn him, but learn from him. He can be the teacher you need and you can help him stop my dad once and for all. Now go. We both need to get gone before the wall is breached. Now go. I've already set the coordinates. Early 21st century, Central City. You should arrive at a time that won't trigger suspicion. Now go." Erikson said.

"Come with me. You're a target if your father finds out." Nova said.

"How do you think I was planning on escaping? I'm done pretending like I love what my father is doing. We have to now." Erikson agreed as Nova got in, but before he could get in, the walls were breached.

"Change of plans, you're going alone. I'll buy you time. Find the Flash and end this." Erikson said as he activated the sphere before Nova could protest and ran out, right as the Reverse Flash sped in and grabbed his son, but that was the last thing Nova saw before the sphere entered the timestream and vanished.

Nova Beretta/Silver Bolt is played by Kelli Berglund and Erikson Thawne is played by Jack Griffo.
