Disclaimer: I don't own anything. This is just a story for fun.

Moana and her friends were sailing along aided by the ocean to help them catch up to the Bad Guys. As they sailed Ruby and Chelsea were trying to come up with a plan to combat the Bad a Guys and make sure Ruby didn't fall under the spell and influence of the Instrument of Destruction.

"I could go into camouflage mode and sneak up on them." Said Ruby.

"No they've seen you use that power and would expect that." Said Chelsea.

"Right and I don't think they would just wait around and let me use my laser eyes on them either." Said Ruby.

"We just need to cover and block your ears up to keep you from hearing the music, so you don't fall under it's control." Said Chelsea.

"Great idea! We just need to find a good amount of seaweed or algae to block my ears up before we confront the Bad Guys." Said Ruby.

"Probably should do it in your giant form." Said Chelsea.

"Yeah that makes sense." Said Ruby.

Before anything else could be said or done the boat suddenly began to slow down and then it stopped.

"Why we stop ocean?" Asked Moana looking at the ocean in confusion.

"I don't know why, but I think we got company coming our way!" Said Maui pointing at something big and fast approaching them beneath the water.

Everyone tensed up expecting it to be some kind of monster coming to attack them. The unknown creature got near the boat, stopped, and began to rise revealing itself and Moana and the others gasped in shock.

"Is that a...?" Said Moana.

"Giant kraken." Said Maui.

"Mom!" Said Ruby in surprise.

"Mom?" Said Chelsea in surprise.

Towering over the boat in her giant kraken form was Ruby's mother Agatha. The giant kraken looked down at the boat curiously and her eyes went wide in both surprise and joy as she saw Ruby on the boat.

"Ruby! There you are, oh you've had me and your father so worried." Said Agatha began to shrink down and change into her humanoid form.

Agatha then climbed onto the boat and she and Ruby embraced.

"Good to see you mom. What are you doing here?" Said Ruby as she and Agatha stopped hugging.

"I've been looking for you. I got your note and I became so concerned about you that I actually went to speak with Grandmamah to ask her and our people for in searching for you." Said Agatha.

"You actually went for help from Grandmamah and spoke with her? I thought you hated each other." Said Ruby.

"We have our differences and views on things, but we put those aside to look for you because we both care about you." Said Agatha.

"That's nice." Said Ruby.

"I hear you and a mermaid apparently fought Monstro and actually killed the Devil Whale." Said Agatha.

"Oh that's right we did! Let me introduce you to my good friend Chelsea and the others." Said Ruby turning to Chelsea and the others.

"Um...hi Kraken Princess Agatha. I'm Chelsea the mermaid princess." Said Chelsea with a tiny bit of nervous.

Agatha took the mermaid in. She could see the family resemblance Chelsea shared with Nerissa and Mersea. Agatha could only see that Chelsea was nervous about meeting her and decided to put her mind at ease.

"You don't need to refer to me by that title, I gave up that title and claim to the kraken kingdom throne long ago. You can just call me Agatha and I just want to say I'm deeply sorry about what my mother did to your grandmother." Said Agatha.

"Um...thank you. And I'm sorry about what my mother did to the giant krakens." Said Chelsea.

"Honestly that whole mess back then was my fault, if I had kept a better eye on my mother and make her focus on making peace and made sure she didn't try to steal the Trident of Oceanus, then we would have had peace between our people years ago." Said Agatha.

"Mom that wasn't your fault. You tried to make peace, but it just didn't workout, so don't worry about the past." Said Ruby.

"I guess you're right. No need to worry about the past. Now tell me what you both have been up and who are your other friends." Said Agatha.

"Right let me first introduce you to Moana, she's human and is on a special quest from the ocean itself." Said Ruby indicating Moana.

"A human out on the ocean. That's a sight no one has seen in a very long time. You usually don't stray to far from your island homes after the heart of Ti Fiti was stolen." Said Agatha looking at Moana.

"Yes well I have always been fascinated by the ocean and I knew my ancestors from long ago sailed the sea and I wanted to be like them."

"My daughter said you were on a special quest given to you by the ocean itself." Said Agatha.

"Yes the ocean gave me the heart of Ti Fiti and it tasked with returning to Ti Fiti to bring balance to the world as well as bring peace between the krakens and mermaids." Said Moana.

"And the ocean brought her to me and Chelsea to help her accomplish her quest." Said Ruby.

"The heart of Ti Fiti! You have it? Let me see." Said Agatha getting excited by this news.

"It...was recently stolen from us, by a group of monster thieves called the Bad Guys." Said Moana.

"But we're going after and we're going to get it back." Said Chelsea.

"Yeah and with your help we can do it!" Said Ruby.

"Alright I'm in. It's time to restore balance and bring peace between the krakens and mermaids and unlike my last attempt to bring peace this time I'm going to succeed." Said Agatha getting pumped up at another chance to bring peace between her people and the mermaids.

"Right on! With two giant krakens helping us, we're going to succeed!" Said Maui.

Agatha looked over at Maui and got her first real good look at him. At first Agatha had just assumed he was another human helping Moana, Ruby, and Chelsea, but then she saw him and recognize the demigod from his statue, murals, and picture on various scrolls.

"You!" Snarled Agatha in rage as her eyes sparked with energy as if she was prepared to zap Maui with her laser eyes.

Ruby, Moana, and Chelsea quickly got between Agatha and Maui.

"Whoa mom! Relax! Maui is on our side and has been helping us out on this quest!" Said Ruby.

"But he's the one who stole the heart in the first place and caused the war between the krakens and the mermaids!" Said Agatha pointing a finger at Maui.

"Yes that is true, but I didn't mean to throw the world out of balance and cause the krakens and mermaids to go to war!" Said Maui giving an apologetic look as he raised his arms in the air in a peaceful manner.

"Explain why and how you stole the heart." Said Agatha.

"I stole the heart to give to the humans, I thought it would be the greatest gift I could give them. Giving them the ability to create life sounded like a good idea and the love I would have gotten from would have been sweet. I spent years befriending both krakens and mermaids and I learned how they guarded and protected the heart of Ti Fiti, so I used that knowledge and my skills to get by the guards and steal the heart." Explained Maui.

"So neither side actually physically aided you in the theft." Said Agatha calming down a little.

"Yes. And I'm sorry for the trouble my actions caused the krakens and mermaids. If I knew what would happen, I would have never stolen the heart in the first place. Now I'm trying to make things right." Said Maui.

"Alright I believe, but if you try to steal the heart again or pull some other kind of stunt, I'll hunt you down and make you regret it." Said Agatha.

"Understood." Said Maui nodding his head.

"Now let me tell you about our quest so far and what we are dealing with mom." Said Ruby.

Ruby and her friends filled Agatha in on everything they had been though and Agatha now had a clear picture of what they were up against.

"Alright I get the picture. Now let's get what we need and get the heart back and see about destroying the Instrument of Destruction before it can cause any serious harm." Said Agatha.

"Right on!" Said Ruby.

Agatha and Ruby hopped off the boat as they began to change into their giant kraken forms and Chelsea jumped off the boat as well changing her legs into a mermaid tail. The three of them then set out looking for plants to help cover other Ruby and Agatha's ears to protect them from falling under the spell of the Instrument of Destruction.

To be continued.
