The bedroom door opened and Avrail woke up, she looked towards Mike as he walked into the room. He had went down stairs to answer a phone call. Avrail looked at the clock on the night stand and it was 4:00 am. Mike got in bed with her, She cuddled next to him. Avrail asked who was on the phone. He answered that it was Eric, he had seen a vampire attack in town and he was warning Mike that the roads were blocked off that morning. Avrail looked to where Tyker was sleeping in his bassinet, and saw that he was sleeping. Tyker was 2 months old now. Tarren who was three, was still sleeping in their room, Avrail thought it was best with the vampires that were in the town. Avrail started to go back to sleep, and she snuggled back into mike.
The next morning Avrail was down stairs with Tarren and Tyker. Mike came down stairs, they were going to the community picnic that was in town. Mike asked if she was ready and Avrail replied with a yeah. He picked up Terran while Avrail grabbed Tyker. After strapping Tyker's car seat in the car, Avrail sat in her seat.
When they arrived at the picnic that was in a field, Avrail saw Terrance a few cars away from them. After getting Terran and Tyker into a double stroller, Mike started to walk towards him. Terrance looked at them and said hello. He had seen Avrail while she was pregnant, but hadn't met the baby. Avrail said hello, then showed him Tyker. Terrance said congrats on the new edition. Avrail thanked him. Terrance then told them that he was going to listen to the vampire speech. Avrail said that the town had been good at keeping up with the vampire activity. Terrance said he was going to head into the picnic and he might see them later. Mike said goodbye, then walked into a different direction then Terrance.
The picnic had some music playing, and Avrail saw a tent dedicated to vampire information. Mike walked over to the tent. There was a poster on another county health department and the information that was sent to them. The department had acknowledged the change in components of vulnerability that was due to nears in's with vampires.
The next tent they walked to was the food tent. The tent had a cider that was spiced with strawberry. It was called vamps drink, Avrail decide to try it.
When it was time to announce the accomplishment that the town had, Avrail and Mike walked over to the stand area. The secretary at the town hall came on the stage and said that they had came far in protecting the town. Then she gave some data about other regions views on vampires. They had decided not to tell others about their knowledge of vampires. The town hall members thought it was best to wait until they became suspicious. Terrance was up front and Avrail waved to him.
Later that day after the picnic Avrail was in bed with both Terran and Tyker sleeping. She saw a commercial with a announcement to alway keep your eyes on the road while driving. Then they showed a crash with someone reaching for their thought the man in the commercial was a vampire. They must not be too concerned about noticeability if they were doing movies. Mike walked into the room soon after the commercial ended. After he got in the bed, she snuggled next to him.
The phone rang and Avrail answered it, she heard say hello. Avrail said hello, and Eda said that she was seeing how everything was going. Avrail said good, Eda then said she called to let her know about Eric and Angela's surprise anniversary party. It was in two weeks, Avrail said she would be there. After hanging up the phone, Avrail went to Tyker in his seat on the table, he waves his rattle to Avrail. Tarren started talking about the store. Avrail told him that they would go in a few minutes. Mike was already at the store, he had left a few hours before Avrail.
When they got to the parking lot, Mike came out to help bring Tarren and Tyker into the store. Avrail put Tyker in his play pen, then sat at the desk with it next to her. Tarren was in his chair by the counter, playing with his toys.
A lady walked in and told Avrail that she needed a new tent because the tent she had was torn up by some vampires. Mike came up front and showed her the isle where the tents were located. When the lady brought her merchandise up to the counter, she told Avrail that she was only saved by chance when her and her boyfriend were camping. She had met A man named Terrance at the picnic and he had suggested visiting him in Seattle. He had offered a vampire defense drug, and it worked for her and her boyfriend. Avrail said that she was lucky that she had been able to get out of the situation.
It was saturday and Avrail was watching a movie. She heard Tyker moving his rattles around in his play pen. Avrail looked over at him and he was rolling over from stomach to back, and then back to his back. It was the first time that he rolled over, Avrail picked him up and then she went to get Mike from the kitchen to tell him. Mike was proud of him, he took the baby and after celebrating with him, Mike handed him back to Avrail.
Later that night Avrail was snuggled up to Mike. She looked out the window and spotted a falling star. It was a nice view to fall asleep to.
