MHA- Easter

12:00 AM

Momo had snuck into the Common Room to meet with her co-conspirator. She'd made sure that everyone in her hall had been asleep, but people were rarely up at midnight.

"Is this your first time being up at midnight?" Momo jumped while turning to the voice.

She held her hand up to her heart. "You scared me." She then straightened. "But yes, I haven't really been out of the dorms in the middle of the nigh–" She stopped as she turned around to face the person requesting her help.

"Kaminari-kun, why are you hanging out of the ceiling vent?" Her face was baffled.

Denki Kaminari shrugged and dropped out of the vent with a backflip. "It's the fastest way to get to the Common Room."

Momo sighed. "What did you need to meet up with me for? And why did we have to meet in the middle of the night?"

Denki rubbed the back of his head. "Wellllll. Y'know how today is Easter?" He watched as she nodded. "I thought that you could help me hide Easter Eggs around the campus. I've been painting real, boiled eggs all week. But… I can't hide them all by myself, and I thought that you might be able to make candy-filled, plastic eggs."

Momo's eyes widened. She looked away for a moment, thinking. "Wouldn't we need permission from a teacher at least?"

Denki smiled sheepishly. "I.. may have…. gotten permission from Nezu…."

Momo stared and then sighed. "Well, I might as well help you. I have nothing else to really do."

He perked up and showed his excitement. "I'll just grab the eggs."

Momo shook her head when he'd gone back up to the vent, only for a moment, and pulled out a bag. Once the bag was out of the vent, her eyes goggled.

The bag was huge and had to carry hundreds of eggs. "Kaminari," She started to say faintly, "how many eggs did you paint?"

"Well, I spent somewhere from fourteen to twenty-one nights working on these. I have a running total. It was about… 5,032 eggs, I think."

He grabbed Momo's arm and asked her to go on ahead and hide plastic eggs. Momo sighed in defeat as she helped him.

She hoped the school would be ready for Kaminari's chaos.

7:30 AM

Kaminari was super excited. He hadn't slept at all last night, which wasn't unusual for him. Momo had texted him around 2:34, saying she was done and heading to bed. Denki had finished hiding his eggs at around 4:37. He was fast. He had made sure to tell her to hide the plastic eggs in the dorms only.

Denki had handled the rest of the school. Each egg was connected to a sensor. Every egg taken off of the sensor would be counted as found and taken off of the counter Nezu was gonna put on every screen in school possible.

No real eggs were put in the dorms, that wouldn't be very good if no one found the eggs and they started to stink.

He walked out into the common room and saw Mina, Aoyama, and Hagakure excitedly looking for the plastic eggs.

"Eee!" Mina squealed. "Who hid these?"

Momo looked at Denki, asking the silent question.

A slight shake of the head and a mouthed 'not yet' had her nodding.

As the day went on, more people were finding the eggs. By the time lunch rolled around, all the fake eggs had been found. By the time classes were over, the counter had gone from 5,032 to 834, and was decreasing steadily. Students and teachers alike were finding eggs. There was one thing Denki had neglected to share with Momo. One student's birthday had coincided with Easter, so a special surprise would happen when the counter went to 0.

Denki and Momo had been 'finding' eggs to decrease suspicion. No one suspected a thing. Before dinner, the counter hit 0. Nezu's voice came over the intercom, "Everyone, please head to the auditorium."

Momo raised an eyebrow at Denki and he gave a smile and mouthed a name at her. Momo's eyes widened and she nodded.

Once everyone had made it into the auditorium, Nezu began to speak. "Hello, students and faculty. You probably noticed that eggs have been hidden across school property. One student got my permission to do this, along with any person of their choosing."

The crowd started to throw questions at the principal before he raised a paw. "The student has asked to remain anonymous, but they wanted a surprise once the Easter celebrations were over."

Nezu pressed a button and each person got a piece of cake. A banner saying 'Happy Birthday!' hung from the ceiling.

Denki caught Bakugou's eye and mouthed 'happy birthday' with a smile.
