Kurama awoke with a start he was back in the hospital. He was about to breakout again, he noticed a visitor this time. The Super Pervert himself Jiraya was observing him hands folded. He wondered what he was going to do. He wanted to run but this body was too fragile right now and he was no match to the man in front of him. He had no choice but to sit and accept his reality.
"Kid who are you really," asked Jiraya. "I'm the Kyuubi," Kurama answered plainly. "OK Kyuubi what name do you have," asked Jiraya. Kurama thought for a minute all his bodies memories were gone when the soul left, he must of took them. He was gaping no idea how to answer the question. Jiraya nodded, "it seems like when you were attacked all of you were was erased leaving what the Kyuubi knew." "There is no you left just the chakra imprint of the Kyuubi,'' Jiraya said. "There's also no way to find your family too many corpses of varying conditions," Jiraya added grimly.
"So what happens now," asked Kurama accepting his theory. "You're going to become a Ninja there is no choice for you," responded Jiraya. "No complaints just where do I live now," responded Kurama. Jiraya raised a eyebrow, "You do know this will be a life filled with pain and death." "I know I can't wait said," Kurama honestly wanting a chance to sink his teeth into someone Jiraya sighed, ''seems like humanity left you along with a lot of other things." "Isn't that good," said Kurama. Better not let him and Danzo ever meet thought Jiraya. "As for your housing you are going to stay here til you are healed and then an apartment will be slated for you," stated Jiraya. Kurama seeing nothing better to do closed his eyes and rest. Jiraya seeing no further point turned to leave but said one last thing, "You also should come up with a name if you keep going with Kyuubi name the villagers will turn on you."
Kurama gritted their teeth when he took over this body, he expected respect. He was trapped this body but is mind slipped into the mindscape where he still had control. There he was a one tailed beast full of power. He needed to make adjustments to this body and that would take time. The good part about humans though are they were malleable and he began the changes he wanted. Good thing his body was full of cracked and bruises so these changes would be written off as bad healing. He began with making his bones heal to be stronger than they would usually be. The next was his teeth they would not due to dull to rip and tear into flesh. They would take a while coming in as a third set of teeth instead of the humans usual 2 sets. This would take a while to grow in and replace his human teeth. There were other changes but he needed to be careful until he turned Jonin he needed to be passably human. If only there was a clan more beast than human like the two who lived in his body so long ago.
The next day while exploring the hospital he got an answer to his plight. There was a women taking in her baby Kiba in for an examine as many had done fearing his chakra affecting the new generation. The baby boy was a feral kid full of vigor and excitement. Kurama knew that he would feel more at home with this clan. All he had to do was find a in to the clan. He knew who to ask but dreaded the thought of it. He had no choice has been an orphan no choice but to ask the Hokage he was pulled out of his thoughts by a shake. "Why are you staring at my mom," asked a young Hana Inuzuka. Here's my chance thought Kurama as he said, "I wonder if my mom held me like that." "Well duh every mom who loves their child does," answered Hana. Tsume overhearing the conversation scolded her child before turning to the boy. "What happened to your parent's kid," asked Tsume voice filled with compassion. Kurama flinched not expecting her but felt the need to perform said, "They died they're gone but I'm still here." "So are many kids what makes you special," question Tsume.
"He's been exposed to the Kyuubi's chakra wiping all his memories," said Jiraya plainly appearing behind Kurama. "He has no place at my clan," said Tsume voice darkening and holding her baby close to her. "Please I want to be a part of your clan I will do anything and live anywhere," answered Kurama. "Really anywhere if I take you in and you don't like it you better not complain," said Tsume voice filled with parental authority. "Anywhere I want to join your clan I will do anything," answered Kurama. "Jiraya do you vouch for this young man," asked Tsume. "I believe he will feel more at home in your clan than anywhere else," answered Jiraya. "Ok but I will need some compensation," said Tsume hand outstretched. Jiraya placed a book into her hand to Hana's annoyance. "Ok kid I have Just the place in mind to place you at," said Tsume voice eager. "Thank you," said Kurama to Jiraya. "Don't thank me yet kid you don't know where you are going to stay with or how you are going to earn your keep," warned Jiraya. Kurama laughed in his head as long as he was with a group of similar minded people to him, he didn't care what he had to do. Kurama would earn his keep he would do it only a little while till he was old enough to not do chores. He was snapped out of his thoughts when they arrived to the clan's district where he was led to a house next to the kennels where a old man lived. "This is Shippo your new guardian he lost his son in the attack you will take over his responsibilities," answered Tsume. "Ok what will I be doing," asked Kurama. "You will be cleaning the Kennels," said Tsume plainly.
