They all looked around them and Emma said "Well, we're here. But not in the right part of the world".
Belle asked, "Then how are we gonna get to Gideon".
Gold said "We know where our boy is. We just need to get a boat to take us there".
Emma asked "With what. We don't have any money. Especially ones from here".
Gold said "Don't worry. I have a plan". Gold led them up to the harbour master and said "Hello. Me and my friends were just wondering if a boat was heading to Africa. Somewhere around here". Gold then showed the harbour master the globe.
The harbour master said "You're just in luck, sir. A boat is taking off to that region in about an hour. It's being chartered by Mr Porter; you have to speak to him and see if he will take you with him".
Gold responded "Wonderful. Thank you so much". Gold then left and said "See, it's fate. We were supposed to find him".
Emma remarked "You sound so much like Neal, you know that. He always used to say that".
Gold answered "That's because I taught him that. And years of experience has proven me right. You think it was coincidence the child I got for Regina was the Saviours son. That was fate".
Henry asked, "You got me".
Gold answered "Yes, I made a few calls and heard about a baby boy from Boston that needed a family. So, I told your mother about it and sent her down".
Charming said, "If she didn't then Emma would never have come to Storybrooke and the curse wouldn't have broken".
Gold responded "Exactly. Fate. And fate wants us to find my son". Gold led them to the boat and as they went aboard. Gold called out "Is there a mister Porter. I need to speak to mister Porter".
Cyrus came out and said "Hello. I'm mister Porter. Cyrus Porter at your service".
Gold said "Hello, me and my friends were going to Africa. To the same region you were, and we were hoping to join you".
Cyrus responded "Join us. We'd be delighted. I just have to ask my wife first". Cyrus called out "Hey Darling".
Alice responded "Yes, my love".
Cyrus said "Can you come out here. I have people I would like you to meet".
Cyrus said, "My lord, have not seen clothes like that since".
Alice and her daughter Jane came up on deck and Alice said "I was just getting Jane's stuff packed. You know how messy she is. It's not like she learned a thing at finishing school". Alice saw the people and their clothes, and she said "Oh my, I have not seen clothes like that since. You must be from Storybrooke".
Everyone was shocked to hear this and Emma asked, "How did you know we were from Storybrooke".
Alice said "We visited there once. Me and my husband. We also had a friend from there. Will. Will Scarlet. Do you know him".
Belle asked, "You know Will".
Alice answered "Yes, he's my best friend. Although I haven't seen him in well, it was such a long time ago".
Belle answered, "No. He sorta disappeared not that long ago".
Alice said, "He's probably back in Wonderland with his wife".
Belle asked, "His wife".
Alice said, "Yes Anastacia, or you might know her as the White Queen or maybe you heard the Red Queen".
Belle said, "No. I didn't".
Alice said "Well, ever since he got his heart back, he's been happy living with her".
Belle responded, "I'm glad".
Alice asked, "I'm surprised he wasn't with her or brought her up".
Belle said, "That's probably because he wasn't with her at the time".
Alice and Cyrus were confused and Alice asked, "What do you mean, not with her".
Belle said "Well, it's sort of why we're here. I'm looking for my son and when the black fairy attacked us and tried to take him, the blue fairy sent him away to here. And she also sped up this realm so even though for you it might have felt like a long time. For us and Will it has only been a little while".
Cyrus said "That's why we haven't heard anything. See my love I told you there was nothing to worry about and that there was a perfect and reliable answer".
Alice responded "I know. I was just worried when we hadn't seen them for a while".
Cyrus responded "I know and they're okay. They will probably even have a laugh when they see how much older we are".
Alice responded "Yeah, you're right". She then turned to Gold, Belle, Emma, Henry, Hook, Zelena, and Charming and said "Oh, where are my manners. My name's Alice. Alice Porter and this is my husband Cyrus and my daughter Jane".
Jane said "Hello".
Cyrus said "It's nice to meet you everyone. May I ask your names".
Mr Gold said "Rumpelstiltskin but everyone calls me Mr Gold. And this is my uh".
Belle knew that he was unsure what to say and said "Wife. I'm Belle. And this is Emma and her son Henry. And this is Killian, David, and Zelena".
Henry said "Hello".
Emma said, "Hi".
Charming said, "It's nice to meet you".
Hook said "Hello".
Zelena said "Hey".
Cyrus said "Darling, these people want to come with us". He then asked, "Is your son in Africa".
Gold answered "Yes. Yes, he is".
Cyrus said, "I was just asking if you were happy for them to come with us".
Alice answered "Of course. Anything for friends of Will. And good thing I always pack more food than we need".
Cyrus responded, "I'll never question you again".
Henry asked "So, uh, since your name is Alice and Will is from Wonderland. Are you Alice in Wonderland".
Alice answered "Yes. I went there. It's the name of my book. How did you know".
Emma said "It's an our world thing".
Alice responded "Ah, like your magical boxes that keep things cold and generate ice".
Cyrus said, "Or the wall things that if you move them up and down, turn the candles on and off".
Emma said "Yeah, it's sometimes really hard to know that you don't know that stuff". Emma realised and said "Hey, when I caught Will drunk in the library, he was reading Alice in Wonderland".
Alice said "Yeah, he gets like that".
Gold asked "So, you know why we need to get to Africa. Why are you going".
Cyrus answered "I'm a professor at Oxford university and with human activity increasing in the area. I thought it was best to go myself and conduct research. On the animals and the plant life that lives and grows in the area. More knowledge about this place and teach us how to respect the land and all the creatures that live on it. We don't want to destroy the natural beauty that has existed there for thousands of years".
Zelena remarked "Well, aren't you the environmental hero".
Alice said "We all are. This one loved to have tea parties in the forest by our home didn't you".
Jane exclaimed "Mother".
Alice responded "Oh, all right. I'll stop embarrassing you, my sweet little girl".
Jane said, "This is not stopping embarrassing me mum".
Alice responded "Right. Right".
Cyrus said "So, we're all ready to depart. Do you want to leave now".
Belle said "Yes. We need to get to my son as quickly as possible".
Cyrus said "Good. I'll have Captain Gerald set us off".
Hook said "I'll help him. I'm good with boats and sea navigation".
Cyrus responded "Good. We can always use with more help".
Cyrus and Hook went to launch the ship and Alice said "Come on down. We don't have a lot of room, but we'll make do".
Alice led them downstairs, and everyone began to follow her when Gold stopped Belle and said, "About what you said".
Belle responded "I said it because we needed to get this ship moving and save Gideon. And technically it's correct, we're still married".
Gold said "Belle. I wanna talk about us".
Belle responded "Rumple. My feelings towards you have not changed. You're still to cowardly to do the right thing and". Belle then stopped herself and said "It's Gideon we need to worry about. He's in danger and we need to put him first. So, us, we don't matter. All that matters is him. So, until he's safe we need to put our differences aside and be his bloody parents". Belle then followed everyone else, and Gold followed suit.
Alice began showing them around when the ship left port and started to make it's way to Africa. Alice showed them the quarters and said, "There isn't a lot of room, but we'll manage".
Charming said "If us men take some blankets and put them on the floor then we can fit. That is if your husband is willing to sleep on the floor. It is his boat after all".
Alice responded "He'll be fine with it. He can sleep anywhere. He always even said that the floor was better than his bottle".
Emma asked "Bottle".
Alice said "Yes bottle. He was a Genie".
Henry asked excitedly, "Your husband was a Genie".
Alice said "Not anymore. He's free. But he was trapped in that bottle a long time. I even met him in there. I was in Wonderland and had to hide from the Queen's guards, so I shrunk down and hid underneath the maze".
Alice said "Well, while I was shrunken down, I moved away from them and found a bottle. I thought that it would be a good place to hide so I opened it and went inside. That's when I saw him. Oh, it was love at first sight. I had never seen anyone so handsome and".
Jane exclaimed "Mother. Can we leave you daddy's romance out of this".
Alice responded "Jane sweetheart. When you meet the person that you wanna be with for the rest of your life. You'll know and never forget how good they make you feel".
Jane responded "Unlikely mother. I know it doesn't work like that. All the men you've set me up with have been pigs".
Alice responded "I know but we'll find the right one. He'll come".
Jane responded, "I'm sorry mother but there's no hope of that happening".
Jane walked away and Alice said "Sorry about her. That's why we brought her along. She's been a bit lonely recently. She was going out with a boy after finishing school, but he wasn't faithful and ever since then has had difficulties trusting them. And frankly the ones that she has not been stars either. She just needs to meet the one that, that".
Belle said, "Her true love".
Alice said "Exactly. She's just needs to meet him, and it'll change everything. My life changed when I met Cyrus. After that day I knew that no matter what everything would be okay because I had him by myside". She then turned to Belle and said "Oh, I shouldn't be talking about my daughter when we need to look for your son. How old is he".
Belle answered "I don't know. With time going at different speeds here now. I don't know if he's still a baby, a little boy, a teen, or a young man. He could even be an old man. I just don't know".
Alice said "Well no matter the case. We'll find him".
Belle responded, "Thank you".
Cyrus and Hook came down and Cyrus said "We've just left port. How are we all doing".
Alice answered "Fine. You mind sleeping on the floor".
Cyrus answered "Of course not. It beats my bottle. I used to be a".
Alice interrupted "They know I told them".
Cyrus said "Good. Now, I'm sure we're all hungry let's eat".
After they eat, they talked or helped around the ship.
