As the hour nearly ended Belle began to get restless and Gold noticing this said "I think that's enough. Come on, the sun's about to come up and we'll have light again".

Charming said "Gold. We need a little longer. We searched all night. Please, just a little longer".

Belle who had enough of waiting said "Fine. You wanna wait. Go ahead wait. I've had enough and can't wait anymore. My son's out there somewhere and I need to find him. I can't go another minute without knowing he's safe".

Belle began to cry, and Gold hugged her and said "It's okay. It's okay. I'm here. We're here. Our son is here and we're going to find him. I promise you Belle that we'll find him. He can't be too far".

Gideon dropped down from the tree in front of them and scared everyone. He held a spear at them and Jane said "It's okay. It's okay. It's the wild man. It's Tarzan". Jane walked up to Gideon and although Cyrus tried to stop her, not wanting her to get to close to the man with a spear but failed. Gideon noticed Jane and Jane said calmingly "It's okay. We're not going to hurt you. We just want your help finding a little boy. The book you had. It was his. We just want help to find him".

Gideon lowered the spear and Jane pointed to Belle and said "She has the book you had. Can you take us to the boy who had it".

Gideon looked at Belle and realised that she was the woman from his dream. He would always dream about her and how she was his mother, but he always thought it was a woman he made up, but now she was here, and she was real. Gideon walked over to her and upon reaching her he put out his left hand. Belle remembered that she did this to Gideon in the dream world and put out hers. Upon touching Belle looked into his face and saw her son. She saw her baby and the little boy. Belle said "Gideon".

Gideon remembered that it was the name she called him many years ago in the dream and pointed to as the name he read so many times in his book. Gideon hugged Belle and she embraced him back. She said "Oh, my boy. Oh, my little boy". She then looked at his face and said, "You're not so little any more are you". Belle then hugged Gideon again.

Jane asked "So, wait. That's your son. Tarzan is your son".

Emma said "I guess he is. I guess by the time we got here, he was an adult".

Belle broke apart and she turned to Gold, and she said "Gideon. This is your father". She then pointed between both her and Gold and said "We had you" before pointing to Gideon.

Gideon realised what Belle meant and walked over to Gold. Gold hugged his son and said "Gideon. I'm so happy to finally meet you".

Belle then said to Gideon and gestured "We want you, to come back with us. Come with us". Gideon believed he understood what his mother was saying, and Belle then held Gideon's hand and led him away, and he knew that she was taking him somewhere. They went back to camp and was astonished to see that Gideon was now an adult. As they entered the camp Belle led Gideon to a seat and knelled in front of him. She then caressed his face and said "My boy. My beautiful boy. I have you back".

Jane said "He can't speak. I tried but he can only mimic. I don't know if he knows how to talk".

Belle needed to talk to her son and for him to understand her. Belle got up and asked "Rumple. Is there anything you can do to help our son understand us".

Gold answered "Of course. But are you okay with me using magic on him".

Belle answered "This is to talk to our son. So, I don't care what you have to do".

Gold waved his hand, and magic flew from it into Gideon's mouth. Gideon coughed and said "Wow. That tasted weird". Gideon realised what he said and covered his mouth shocked at his ability to speak English.

Gold said "Don't worry my boy, that was just a little magic. Now, you can finally understand us".

Belle held Gideon's hand and said "Gideon. I missed you so much".

Gideon responded "So did I mother. I always wondered if you were real or just a dream I had when I was a kid".

Belle hugged him and said "I'm real. I'm real Gideon and I've missed you so much". She then broke from the hug and looked at his face and said, "I love you".

Gideon said "I dream about you. I dream about my real mother and how she loved me and was coming to find me. But until today I didn't believe it was real".

Belle said "It's real. I'm here and you're safe. I'm coming to take you home".

Gideon was confused by this and said "But this is my home. My family's here".

Zelena questioned "Family".

Gideon answered, "My adopted mother and the rest of the gorillas".

Zelena asked, "Did he just say gorillas".

Emma said "Yeah, Tarzan was raised by them".

Zelena joked "Well, even without his father, he was still raised by beasts".

Belle yelled "Shut up, Zelena". She then turned back to her son and said "Gideon. Your home is with us. With me. Gideon, I want you to come home with me".

Gideon asked "But the family needs me. I can't leave".

Belle said "But I need you. I lost you once before. I can't do it again".

Gideon saw the desperation in his mothers eyes and said "Okay, but I want you to meet them. Meet my family and my mother".

Emma asked, "Meet Gorillas".

Gideon said "Yes, they're lovely and I want you to meet them mother. I want them to see you and know that my dreams weren't lies".

Zelena asked, "He's got to be joking".

Gideon said "I'm not. I want you all to meet and I need to say goodbye to them. I can't leave without that".

Belle relented and said "Okay, if that's what you want. Then that's what we're going to do".

Everyone was shocked by this and Emma asked "Belle, you seriously want us all to meet gorillas".

Belle answered "If my son says that they're okay; then I believe him. I'm asking him to leave everything he knows. It's the least I can do for him".

Cyrus said "I was hoping for some research on them. It would be nice to get up close and be welcomed".

Alice said, "If my husband's going then so am I".

Gold said, "Anything for you my boy".

Henry said "I wanna go".

Emma said "Henry, this is not a good idea".

Henry responded "But mom, it's safe. And you know the story".

Emma said "But Henry. These are actual gorillas. They're dangerous".

Gideon said "They're not dangerous at all. They are protective but don't worry, with me; you'll be perfectly safe".

Emma relented and said "Fine. I've never seen one in the wild. Only in the zoo. Unless you count past boyfriends".

Charming said "I'd love to go to. I've never seen one".

Zelena asked "Are you all mad. These are savage beasts, and they will kill us".

Gideon said "Only if they are threatened but I'll tell them that you mean them no harm and that you are with me. I promise, they'll welcome you with open arms".

Zelena remarked "Pretty big arms".

Belle exclaimed "Zelena. Stop it". She then turned to Gideon and said "Take us to them. We want to meet them". Gideon was happy to hear this and Belle said "After breakfast. It's morning and we were looking for you all night". Gideon accepted this and they all went to eat breakfast. Gideon stuffed food down his throat and Belle saw this and put her hand on his shoulder and said "It's okay. You can go slow. It's not going away".

Gideon realised and said, "Sorry mum".

Belle said "It's okay sweetie. It's okay. I'm here to help". Gideon was happy to hear this and watched everyone else eating and copied them.

When they were all finished Gold said "Come on son. Take us to the gorillas".

Gideon happily began to lead them, and Zelena remarked "I can't believe we're doing this. If we all get killed, don't say I didn't warn you".

Hook responded, "If we do die then we can't".

Zelena retorted "I knew that captain one hand". Gideon then continued to lead them all through the jungle
