Gideon continued to lead them until they reached a large stone city and Emma remarked "Uh, well, none of us expected that".
Zelena said "If you're referring to the large city in the middle of the flaming jungle. No. No we didn't".
Jane asked "Gideon. Have you ever been here before".
Gideon answered, "No. None of us has been this far away from the family".
Tantor said "And I think this is far enough. No point in going any further".
Gideon said "Tantor. We still don't have Kerchak and we're not leaving without him".
Tantor stammered "But, but". Tantor realised that no one was going to agree with him and that Gideon would force him to continue so he sighed.
Terk said "Come on Tantor. If these humans can do it with their puny arms, then we can, look at us". Terk then show off her muscles.
Gideon said "Come on. Kerchak must be here".
They all began to walk into the city and Jane said, "Oh daddy's going to be devastated that he missed this".
Alice said "I know. He'd say that it'd make great insight into his work on Africa and the scientific community must be aware". Jane agreed with this and went with her mother and the others inside.
They all walked through the city marvelling at what they were seeing until they saw in the centre a great temple. Gideon said, "That must be where they're keeping Kerchak".
Zelena said speaking down to Gideon "Good guess".
Belle asked, "Do you have to Zelena".
Zelena answered "Yes, I do".
Gideon said, "Come on, we need to save Kerchak".
Everyone went straight for the Temple and as they rushed inside, they saw Kerchak in a cage with Leopard men surrounding him and a large gorilla and a woman on a throne behind him. The woman said "Why, Tublat. You were right. He did come. But I never expected him to be so handsome".
Gideon demanded "Who are you and why are you working with Tublat".
The woman said "Oh, you speak English. I didn't expect you would. But that makes you even better. I knew you'd make a perfect king".
Jane exclaimed "King".
The woman said "Yes, King. It's got so lonely here, all alone in this great big city. With no one but these useless leopard men to be around. I need a strong and powerful man to rule Opar beside me. And you, Tarzan, are just that man".
Belle stepped in front of Gideon and said "That man is my son. And you are going to let him go, and back away from my son because he can certainly do far better than you".
The woman said "Really, because if you don't back down now, I'll turn you into one of my pathetic leopard men as well. That way you can still be around your son when he's my king".
Gold attempted to pull her back, but Belle said "My son will never be your king. He has standards and could never love a woman as evil or a harlot like you".
The woman got mad and slammed her staff on the ground which caused the red to shine from the mouth of the leopard on it. The woman screamed "I am Queen La of Opar, and you have just made me mad".
Gideon stepped in front of his mother and said, "If you want me then you wouldn't want me as one of your leopard men".
Queen La said "No. I don't".
Gideon said "So, tell us why you are working with Tublat and kidnaped Kerchak".
Queen La answered "I told you. I wanted a King and Tublat was kind enough to tell me all about you in exchange for getting rid of Kerchak. So, ready to rule alongside me as king handsome".
Gideon answered "No".
Queen La asked "Why not".
Gideon answered "I do not love you. You marry someone you love, and I could never love you. Now, release Kerchak and we can all go our separate ways".
Queen La responded "Okay, if that's how you feel. How about I turn all your friends into my servants and then let's see how you feel".
Emma said "We don't listen to threats. We fight them".
Queen La responded "Oh, I'll enjoy making you one of my leopard people but how about we turn sweet mummy here into one first".
Gideon said, "Threaten my mother again and I will kill you".
Gold stepped in front of everyone and said "Now, you've crossed the line. You threaten my family, and you die. It's that simple. Now, give me that". Gold ripped the staff from her and said, "And stop making threats against people that are stronger than you".
Queen La was shocked at Gold's ability to talk it from her and asked, "Who are you".
Gold answered, "I'm the Dark one and you are nothing to me but an insect about to be squashed".
Belle said "Rumple. Don't. She's not worth it".
Gold smirked at Queen La and said, "You're lucky that my wife is so generous because I wouldn't be".
Queen La said "You may be able to stop me. But you can't save him. Tublat. Kill him".
Tublat rushed to Kerchak and Gideon, Terk, and Tantor rushed to help Kerchak. Gideon tackled Tublat as he was about to reach Kerchak, and they began to fight. Queen La tried to take the staff back but Gold was too quick, and Alice said, "Here. I know how to destroy it".
Gold tossed it to Alice and Queen La screamed "Give that back".
Alice said "Lucky for me. I've seen something exactly like this before. My mother-in-law was trapped inside one and I know exactly what to do".
Alice prepared to swing and smash it and as it was brought down Queen La screamed "No". As it hit the ground causing the orb inside to smash turn the leopard men back into leopards and Queen La crumpled into dust.
Alice said "There. It's over".
Jane hugged her mother and squealed "You did it mum".
Alice said "of course I did baby. I couldn't let you be turned into a leopard person. You're my gorgeous baby girl".
Hook said "I wouldn't be celebrating to soon. Now, we got real leopards on us".
The leopards began to attack them and Gold, Charming, Hook, Zelena and Emma fought back. Charming and Hook used their sword to hold them back while Gold, Emma, and Zelena used their magic to scare them away. Zelena and Gold used fireballs while Emma blasted them with magic. One got through and was about to get Hook when Emma noticed and blasted it. She screamed "Don't touch my boyfriend".
The leopard ran off and Hook said "Thank Swan. I was about to be a leopards lunch".
Emma responded, "Don't mention it".
They then drove all the leopards out of the Temple and back into the jungle where they belonged. Everybody rushed to help Gideon when Gideon managed to pin Tublat down and seeing everyone ready to help him, Gideon said "Go. You failed once and you failed now. You'll never be the leader of the family so go now and leave before you have to fight all of us". Tublat looked at everyone and knowing he wasn't going to win ran away. Gideon went over to try and free Kerchak, but he couldn't, so Gold opened the cage with magic and Gideon said, "Thanks dad".
Gideon, Terk, and Tantor helped Kerchak out and Kerchak asked "Tarzan. Who are they".
Gideon answered "They're my family. My other family".
Kerchak said "And you're going with them aren't you".
Gideon answered "Yes".
Kerchak said "Well, good luck".
Gideon hugged Kerchak and said, "Thank you for everything".
Kerchak responded "Don't thank me. Thank your mother. It was all her idea".
Gideon responded, "I will".
Gideon then turned to everyone and said, "It's time to go back". Everyone accepted this and began to leave Opar heading back to the family.
