Chapter 46: Together Always
Last Time through a hard-fought battle, Jason defeats Sekai, and the demon threat is stopped. However, before Sekai died, he gave Jason a warning of a creature far stronger than he is. A monster by the name of Majin Buu. Before Jason can comprehend the warning, he passes out due to exhaustion. What happens next Now!
Earth Kami's Lookout…
Jason opened his eyes as all the pain in his body disappeared, and his energy restored much to his surprise as the last thing he recalled was defeating Sekai. Quickly getting up, he noticed he was back on the Lookout, and next to him was its guardian Dende.
"Dende?" Jason questioned, perplexed at the current situation.
"I'm sure you're confused, but to give you the short story, the others brought you here once they took care of Sekai's devices, and I healed you," Dende explained.
"I didn't know you could do that," Jason replied, surprised at the guardians healing power.
"Sorry I didn't tell you, but it's not something I can go and use during battle without endangering my own life and the Dragon Balls." Dende apologized.
"It's fine." Jason smiled as he got to his feet.
Jason looked around until he saw the rest of his friends all talking with one another as Dende went to heal them. It seems that true to what Dende said, they had succeeded in stopping the devices from absorbing the planet's energy, and with Sekai dead, that means it was all over.
"Glad to see you all okay." Jason smiled as he joined them.
"Look whose talking. When we found ya, you were beaten near death." Elias replied.
"At least you managed to kill the head honcho though so all's well that ends well," Krillin smirked.
"I'm glad you guys managed to succeed as well, which means it's over right no more demons?" Jason asked.
"That's right unless King Kai has something to say about it," Piccolo responded.
"No, you all did it! And with the breach between our universe and the demon realm permanently sealed, there will never be any demons getting here again." King Kai replied.
"Unless one was already here, but the odds of that are astronomically low." King Kai added.
"That's good to hear." Yamcha sighed.
"Hey, King Kai, while we have your attention, there is something I need to ask you." Jason requested as Sekai's last words filled his head.
"Beware Ma…ji…n B...uu…" He had warned.
"Do you know anything about a creature or person named Majin Buu?" Jason inquired, confusing everyone there.
"Majin Buu? I can't say that I have heard of the name. Why do you ask?" King Kai asked.
"Before Sekai died, he gave me a warning about a monster he feared when he first saw our universe. He stated that this Majin Buu was far stronger than he was." Jason explained.
"Oh, come on! Why doesn't the craziness end?!" Krillin complained.
"I don't see why you're complaining. I, for one, would love a challenge." Vegeta smirked.
"Well, for us Non-Saiyans, we would rather avoid such an opponent," Tien stated.
"Plus, we barely won our battle with Sekai. If this Majin Buu is stronger than him, it would be bad." Piccolo pointed out.
"Well, before you go too far, it may just be a bluff. I've never heard of this Majin Buu, and I'll have to consult with my fellow Kai about it before any solid conclusion can be made." King Kai interrupted.
"I think he was telling the truth. After all, he was dying, so I see no reason to lie." Jason stated.
"We'll see. I'll keep you updated, but for now, I just want to express my thanks once again for saving the universe." King Kai thanked as he cut the psychic connection.
"Well, even if this Majin Buu is real, I'm just glad this fight is over with." Krillin sighed as he fell on his butt to rest.
"Yeah, but now that this is over, I hope my Mom won't be too hard on me when she finds out that there is no cash prize," Gohan murmured, and almost as if on cue, a small aircraft lands on the Lookout.
From said aircraft exited two women, one of which looked furious, and the other seemed pretty mellow and almost scared of what the first was going to do. The second Gohan spotted the first woman, he began sweating profusely due to his nervousness.
"GOHAN!" Chi-Chi roared in anger.
"GET OUT HERE RIGHT NOW YOUNG MAN!" Chi-Chi screamed as Gohan slowly made his way over to his mother.
"Is that Gohan's mom?" Jason asked.
"Yeah, just keep your head down, and you'll be fine," Krillin advised.
"But shouldn't we help?" Jason questioned.
"Just keep your head down, and you'll be fine," Krillin repeated, stuttering a little.
"Who's the other one?" Jason inquired.
"That's my wife Bulma," Vegeta answered.
"Oh wow, I never thought you were one to get married," Jason stated, shocking Vegeta.
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?!" Vegeta questioned.
"The first impression he ever had of you wasn't something to indicate that you would ever get married, to be fair," Piccolo smirked, causing Vegeta to growl in annoyance.
"So the cash reward you told me King Kai was going to award you wasn't real after all, was it?!" Chi-Chi questioned.
"Yes Mom," Gohan replied, hanging his head down.
"Sorry Gohan, but I didn't know you lied to get your mom to agree." Bulma apologized.
"So you lied to me so that you can go out and fight and skip on your studies!?" Chi-Chi inquired.
"Well, I didn't want to skip on my studies, but they needed my help," Gohan explained.
"Is helping them more important than your studies!?" Chi-Chi questioned.
'Uhhh….yes." Gohan answered slowly, even knowing his mother would not like the answer.
"WELL THEN IF THAT'S THE CASE…." Chi-Chi began as she reprimanded Gohan.
"Are you sure we shouldn't help?" Elias asked.
"Trust me, you don't want to encounter Chi-Chi's wrath," Yamcha warned.
"SPEAKING OF WHICH WHO CONVINCED HIM OF DOING THIS?!" Chi-Chi roared as she turned her attention away from Gohan on to them.
"AH PLEASE, NOT THE FACE!" Krillin begged as he cowered in fear.
"We a well…" Yamcha stuttered, confusing Jason and Elias.
"Is she really that scary?" Jason wondered as he noticed even Vegeta was nervous.
"Nobody really convinced him he came on his own accord," Jason stated.
"WAS IT YOU?!" Chi-Chi questioned as she turned towards him with a glare that could kill even gods.
The second Chi-Chi glared at him, Jason knew full well why everyone was scared of her as her very presence was intimidating. He nearly fell to his knees in fear, even though he had just fought and won against a demon not too long before.
"WELL?" Chi-Chi pushed.
"No, it's like I said before. Also, if anyone did convince him, it was King Kai." Jason replied, not wanting to face Chi-Chi's wrath.
"YOU SELLOUT!" King Kai cried, having heard Jason.
"Whatever, it doesn't matter who convinced Gohan because I can just blame all of you!" Chi-Chi shouted.
"PLEASE NO!" Krillin begged.
"Krillin, calm down before you do something you regret." Piccolo requested.
"Please Mom, it's my fault I wanted to come here and fight because they needed my help." Gohan defended.
"But I don't want you wasting your life and grow up to have no job like your father was going to Gohan!" Chi-Chi argued.
"But how is training and defending the planet wasting his life? Can't he train and study? I mean, I did it." Jason questioned.
"Wait, you actually got an education?" Krillin asked.
"Well yeah, I went to school. I mean, it was a combat school, but they still taught us a full education." Jason explained.
"Until Beacon fell, but I probably shouldn't say that." Jason thought.
"Even so, is it so much to ask to have my son not involved in these shenanigans?" Chi-Chi asked.
"Look, Chi-Chi, I get it, but you know how Saiyans are. They're born to fight." Bulma consoled.
"I mean to be fair, there will always be threats out there, and if Gohan isn't there to help, people can die. Plus, I train all the time and have a job." Jason began.
"We may not know each other, but if you want my opinion, I think he can both have a good education and train. I mean, it's never bad to be too safe, right?" Jason asked.
"I don't want my son fighting!" Chi-Chi shouted as Jason took a step back.
"But shouldn't he get a say in the matter? I mean, it is his life?" Elias asked.
"Don't you dare question a mother's intentions!" Chi-Chi hissed, causing Elias to jump back.
"Why is she so scary?" Elias questioned.
"You may be okay, but Gohan is a different story," Chi-Chi stated as she glared at Jason.
"Mom!" Gohan shouted, getting everyone's attention.
"Look, like I said, it's my fault, so please don't put your anger on anyone but me." Gohan began.
"The thing is, I don't want to sit around and do nothing if my help will save people. I know you don't want me fighting, and I don't want to fight if I can't help it." Gohan continued.
"I don't want to fight for fun like Dad or Vegeta. I want to fight solely to protect people!" Gohan finished.
"So please, I'll still do my studies, I promise but allow me to help people." Gohan requested.
Chi-Chi could only stare at her son as her expression softened from being consumed by anger to one of defeat. She hated the very idea of her son fighting ever since he was taken by Piccolo and forced to fight against Vegeta and Nappa, but even she couldn't deny such words.
"Fine, but you better keep up with your studies." Chi-Chi asserted.
"I promise." Gohan smiled as everyone let out a sigh of relief.
"It's always terrifying when she's angry." Krillin sighed.
"Well, now that Chi-Chi is done yelling, I assume everything is said and done right because I finally got Trunks to go to sleep, and if the Earth shakes and wakes him, someone's going to face my wrath?" Bulma questioned.
"It's over, so don't worry," Vegeta answered.
"Well, that's good." Bulma smiled as she stood next to her husband.
"By the way Jason did you bring another set of spare clothes?" Elias asked, bringing notice of Jason's torn clothes due to his battle and transformation into Super Saiyan Primal.
"Sadly, I used my only spare when I fought Vegeta," Jason responded.
"Don't worry, I got you covered," Piccolo said as he used his power to conjure Jason a set of his own Gi.
"Wow, that's cool. I wish I knew that kind of power." Jason smirked as he looked at the purple Gi that he now wore.
"You know I always wondered do you own any other clothes besides your Gi? Because whenever I see you nowadays, you always wear a Gi?" Elias inquired.
"Yeah, Neo said that after we're married, she's getting me new clothes because she thinks I wear them too much." Jason laughed, catching the other's attention.
"Wait, did you just say you're getting married?" Gohan questioned.
"Uh yeah. I didn't mention it before because I wanted to focus on the fight with the demons." Jason answered.
"Are you marrying the mute?" Vegeta inquired.
"Her name is Neo," Jason stated.
"Whatever," Vegeta replied, getting a smack to the back of his head by Bulma.
"But yeah, Neo and I are getting married next month," Jason revealed.
"Wasn't she a little mad that you came here?" Tien questioned.
"No, I ran it by her before I came, and she said it was okay," Jason explained.
"Wow, a Saiyan with a sensible girlfriend," Krillin murmured.
"What was that?" Bulma and Chi-Chi questioned.
"NOTHING!" Krillin replied.
"If you guys want, you're all welcome to come to the wedding if you want." Jason offered.
"That would be nice. I haven't been to a wedding since Bulma and Vegeta's." Chi-Chi smiled.
"Okay, before you get into talking about your wedding, I have news about Majin Buu." King Kai interrupted.
"What did you find out?" Elias asked.
"Nothing none of my fellow Kai has ever heard of this Majin Buu before. Then again, Sekai was older than even I, so us Kais of today may not know anything about it." King Kai explained.
"So what does that mean?" Piccolo questioned.
"It means go back to living your regular lives, and if anything about this Majin Buu comes up, then I'll let you all know as soon as it does or doesn't happen." King Kai responded.
"I guess that's all we can hope for the moment. Thanks King Kai." Jason thanked.
"Piss off I haven't forgiven you for what you said!" King Kai replied as he disconnected the psychic link.
"Fine, be that way," Jason murmured.
"That being said, I should train like I've never trained before so that I can be prepared." Jason thought.
Once that was done, everyone continued back where they left off as Jason formally introduced himself to Chi-Chi and Bulma. When all that was taken care of, everyone decided to go back to their respective homes as it had been a very long day.
Along with Elias, Jason returned to Remnant via Instant Transmission, and both went their separate ways. As Jason entered his house, Neo sat there waiting for him, and when she saw him, she pulled him into a hug.
"I hope I didn't make you worry," Jason said as he returned Neo's hug.
"No more than you normally do but now that your home, things can go back to normal," Neo replied.
"Or at least what passes as normal around here." Jason pointed out.
"By the way, I invited some of the people from Earth to our wedding. I hope you don't mind. You know most of them anyway." Jason told.
"That's fine as long as the wedding isn't delayed because I already hired a band and the Priest." Neo accepted.
Earth…
"Mr. Satan was the threat taken care of?" A Reporter asked.
"Of course it was. My students had taken care of it, so there is no need to fear!" Mr. Satan lied as he held two peace signs up.
"Will your students ever reveal themselves?" Another Reporter questioned.
"They have chosen to remain anonymous and wish that I represent them as uh…I did personally train them to defend the Earth after all." Mr. Satan replied.
"Will you be training any other students, Mr. Satan?" A Reporter inquired.
"Not personally, but I am announcing here today that I will be opening several martial arts dojo's to train the next generation!" Mr. Satan declared as the crowd roared in applause.
"I can't believe people still buy this stuff." Krillin laughed as he watched Mr. Satan's announcement over the television at Kame House.
"To be fair, it's not like they can really disprove him without really hard work." Master Roshi pointed out.
"So, Krillin, when exactly is this wedding?" 18 asked as she was still curious about this wedding on another planet.
"Oh yeah, sorry I got distracted." Krillin laughed.
"It's in one month on this planet called Remnant. Apparently, it has a human population and society similar but still different from Earth." Krillin began.
"My new friend Jason is going to pick us up a day before at the Lookout and bring us to Remnant for the ceremony." Krillin continued.
"So would you like to go with me?" Krillin asked.
"Sure, it sounds like fun." 18 answered.
"Sorry again that I couldn't help with those demons, but my brother needed some help." 18 apologized.
"It's all good. After all, we did win." Krillin smirked.
"Get a room." Master Roshi laughed.
Capsule Corp…
"So you really want to go?" Bulma asked, surprised that Vegeta was so willing to go to Jason's wedding.
"Of course. Arrow and I are the last two full-blooded Saiyans in the universe. As the Prince of the Saiyans, I must go and see the continuation of my race." Vegeta replied as Bulma sweatdropped.
"It's not like they're having a kid yet." Bulma sighed.
"Well, whatever the reason. I'm just excited to see another planet and not have to fear for my life like back on Namek." Bulma smiled.
"Arrow's planet is very similar to Earth, so don't get too excited," Vegeta spoke.
"Whatever." Bulma huffed.
Son Family Home…
"I wonder what I should wear to the wedding?" Chi-Chi wondered as she looked at several of her dresses while Gohan tended to his little brother.
"You have a month to think about it Mom. Does it really matter?" Gohan questioned.
"Of course it does Gohan and besides, I like to be prepared," Chi-Chi answered.
"Your suit still fits, right?" Chi-Chi asked.
"Yes, but what about Goten?" Gohan inquired.
"I already got a small little tux for him to wear." Chi-Chi smiled.
"So is it true that Jason's fiancée is mute?" Chi-Chi asked.
"Yeah, he learned how to read minds to better communicate with her," Gohan answered.
"That sounds so romantic," Chi-Chi replied.
"I guess," Gohan murmured as he had not experienced love like that before.
Other World Grand Kai's Planet…
"Wow, a lot of people are excited for Jason's wedding," Goku observed as he watched his family and friends through an orb.
"Well, a wedding is an exciting event, and as best man, I can't wait. Especially since I'll get to go to the living world." Evan replied.
"Send my congratulations for it." Goku requested.
"Can't you go too? If I remember correctly, you should have permission to return to life for a day as well?" Evan inquired.
"I could, but I think I'll save it for another occasion," Goku answered.
"If you say so," Evan said.
"Whatever, just make sure you come back in time for the Other World Tournament." King Kai stated.
"Can't Goku compete?" Evan asked.
"I would, but I'm still training to surpass Super Saiyan 2 my own way, and I'm real close. I can feel it!" Goku smirked.
"What is it with Saiyans and training?" Evan sighed.
"Even in death, they want to push themselves further," Evan added.
"To be fair, you also trained to increase your strength." King Kai pointed out.
"Fair enough," Evan replied as he joined Goku in watching the world of the living.
One Month Later…
Jason admired his work as he put the finishing touches the day prior. The entire area was composed of a gazebo where the ceremony would be, seating for all the guests, a dance floor, and plenty of places to eat.
Next to him, his wife to be smiled as she looked around, satisfied with Jason's work. Jason too, was pleased with the entire process. It was cathartic doing it, and it could be another way to earn some more cash in the future if he wanted.
"I'll have to look into that in the future." Jason thought.
"So Neo, you ready for tomorrow?" Jason asked as his bride turned to face him.
"More ready than you'll ever know," Neo answered as she gave Jason a kiss.
"Well, I'm going to pick up our guests from Earth. I should be back soon." Jason said as he used Instant Transmission to leave while Neo returned to their home.
Jason appeared on the Lookout as all of his friends from Earth waited for him. He greeted them all introduced himself to the new faces, such as Krillin's girlfriend 18, along with Goten and Trunks.
Though when he did say hi to Trunks, he was asked by Bulma not to mention having met his future self. Apparently, Bulma wishes to withhold the information so that Trunks doesn't think he was born only because his future self came back.
Once introductions were out of the way, he used Instant Transmission to bring them all to Remnant. When they arrived, many like Bulma looked around to see what the new planet looked like.
"Wow, it is a lot like Earth," Bulma commented.
"Yeah, besides the moon, Grimm, and lack of dinosaurs, Remnant is a lot like Earth, so to say," Jason replied.
"So the weddings tomorrow, right? Do we have a place to stay?" Krillin asked.
"Yeah, I managed to book some hotel rooms for everyone, so if you follow me, I'll show you to it," Jason answered.
"There's no need for that. I brought plenty of house capsules." Bulma pointed out.
"Capsules? What are capsules?" Jason inquired.
"Allow me to show you," Bulma responded as she took out several capsules and clicked before throwing.
When they hit the ground, several small domes the size of a small house appeared out of nowhere, shocking Jason. He looked at his friends from Earth, but they seemed to act like this was just normal for them.
"Oh well, since you guys have that, I'll cancel then," Jason said as he was still stunned at the sight.
"How did those fit in there?" Jason questioned.
"It's a long story which only scientists can understand," Bulma answered.
"Okay, science got it," Jason replied. Once everyone was settled, Jason offered to take them to Vale to tour around the city, which most save Vegeta and Piccolo accepted.
"Wow, this place looks both modern and futuristic," Gohan commented when they arrived via another Instant Transmission.
"There are so many shops, and is that a castle!?" Chi-Chi asked.
"Yeah, that's Beacon Academy. It's where many other people and I trained and got their education." Jason answered.
"I remember when I first saw it. It was the biggest building I'd ever seen up to that point." Jason added as he showed everyone around.
"So Jason, where's your girlfriend?" Gohan asked.
"Neo's back at home getting ready for her Bachelorette party," Jason responded.
"Aren't you having a Bachelor Party?" Krillin inquired.
"Not really. I've been busy with building the gathering area up to this point." Jason answered.
"Plus, I was told that all my closest guy friends had to be there, and since my best friend can only be here tomorrow, I'd rather not do it without him," Jason added.
"I see," Krillin replied as Jason continued to give them a tour of Vale.
With Neo…
Neo sat surrounded by Yang, Ruby, Blake, Weiss, Pyrrha, Nora, and Amber as they began Neo's Bachelorette Party. As Jason tended to the guests from Earth, they celebrated Neo's last night of not being married.
"It almost seems like yesterday when you two started dating." Ruby pointed out.
"Yeah, time sure flies." Yang agreed.
"So Neo, do you and Jason have any plans on a honeymoon?" Amber asked.
"Nothing too special we're going to a beach in a few days, but for tomorrow night, we're going to spend some special time together." Neo signed, having learned during the past couple of years.
"Good thing your house is far from your neighbors if you're as loud as you were back in Atlas." Yang teased.
"I'm still glad nothing bad happened when he went to Earth. Jaune and I have been looking forward to this for a while." Pyrrha smiled.
"On the topic of Earth, did Jason specify how many were coming?" Yang asked.
"He didn't know how many were coming, but he did say that we had enough room to seat them," Neo answered.
"Did he ever tell you how the fight was like?" Ruby asked, curious about the details of the demons.
"Not too much. I never really asked," Neo responded.
"Ahh, I wanted to hear it too," Nora complained.
"By the way Nora I heard you and Ren got a house together near Mistral? Is it true?" Neo inquired.
"Yep, we found a little village that reminded us of the one we grew up in and got a house there. It's really nice." Nora answered.
"I guess you two were inspired by Jaune and Pyrrha and Jason and Neo." Ruby laughed.
"On the topic of relationships, I heard a certain Tuffle asked a former maiden out on a date," Yang smirked as Amber blushed.
"Is it true?" Blake asked as all eyes turned to Amber.
"Yes. We started going out a few weeks ago." Amber answered, a little embarrassed.
"I always thought you two liked each other." Ruby smiled.
"Haven't you been seeing Sun Blake?" Neo asked.
"Oh yeah, we've been keeping it a little secret," Blake responded.
"What about you, Ice Queen? Have you found anyone?" Yang questioned.
"Not yet, sadly, but since I managed to seize control of the Schnee Dust Company from my father, I don't have much free time. So this is a nice little break." Weiss explained.
"Well, that's not a surprise," Yang replied.
"What about you, Yang? Have you found anyone?" Weiss asked.
"Nope, but since Evan is coming back for a day, I'm going to make the most of it," Yang responded.
"That sounds totally like you." Ruby laughed.
"Hey, you don't have a boyfriend yet Ruby so I wouldn't be laughing." Yang pointed out.
"Hey!" Ruby complained as they continued talking before beginning to play some games.
The Next Day…
The day was finally here as Jason shifted nervously in his tuxedo. He was never a fan of tux's in the first place, but since he had to wear it, he would grin and bear it. Taking a quick look at himself in his mirror, he readied himself for his wedding.
"Okay, you got this," Jason said as he breathed slowly.
"Are you really getting nervous about your own wedding? Come on, your braver than that." Evan teased as he walked in the room in his own tux and his halo still over his head.
"You made it!" Jason exclaimed as he and Evan clasped hands.
"And I'm not nervous, well I am, but I'm ready for this," Jason smirked.
"Sure you are," Evan replied as the two entered the living room.
"So how's it like being back in the living world?" Jason asked.
"It's kinda weird. Especially when I arrived, I can't tell you how many people stared at my halo." Evan answered.
"I'm surprised Yang isn't clinging to you already." Jason laughed.
"I won't lie. I may have had to give her the slip to get here." Evan sighed.
"By the way, has King Kai heard anything about Majin Buu by any chance?" Jason inquired.
"Nope, he and the rest of the Kais are still in the dark about it. Sadly they don't really have a way to talk to the Supreme Kai at the moment since he apparently doesn't interact much with them." Evan explained.
"He's kinda really secretive. He didn't even show up to take the relics; apparently, one of his staff took it back to the Supreme Kai's planet." Evan added.
"But enough about hypothetical bad guys, it's your wedding be happy," Evan smirked.
"Now, let's go join the others before Yang starts tearing the place apart looking for me," Evan added.
"Come on, I doubt she would go that far." Jason laughed as they left the house.
"To be fair, you didn't see what she did to me when I visited them in Other World," Evan replied.
"Fair enough." Jason smiled as they flew to the gathering area.
When they arrived, Jason greeted everyone who congratulated him on the wedding. The guests from Earth mingled a lot with everyone from Remnant as they got to know each other. Though Vegeta mostly stuck by Bulma.
Soon though, music played as Jason took his place at the gazebo with Evan, Damian, Alex, and Elias behind him. Not too long afterward, Neo finally arrived with her bridesmaids Yang, Amber, Nora, Blake, Weiss, Pyrrha, and Ruby. As she walked up, Jason was stunned at the very sight of her dress.
The dress was pink in color and had a beautiful lace and seemed to shine as the sun touched on it. She joined Jason at the gazebo, and the wedding began. The priest Neo had hired began the speech as Jason and Neo stood across from each other, holding each other's hands.
"She looks amazing," Bulma commented.
"I know it reminds me when Goku and I got married." Chi-Chi agreed.
"So this is a wedding, huh. Not exactly what I expected." Piccolo murmured.
"What did you expect?" Krillin asked.
"I don't know. I've never been to one before." Piccolo responded.
"Oh right, you didn't go to Vegeta and Bulma's wedding," Krillin remembered.
"So, how many dresses did you guys look through before you found this one?" Damian inquired, whispering so as to not interrupt the priest.
"Twenty. When she put this one on, we all knew it was the one she had to wear." Pyrrha answered as the priest began to close the ceremony.
"Do you Neopolitan take Jason Shin to be your lawful wedded husband?" The Priest asked as Neo nodded in agreement.
"And do you Jason Shin take Neopolitan as your lawful wedded wife?" The Priest inquired.
"I do," Jason answered as his teammates smiled behind him.
"Then by the power vested in me, I pronounce you husband and wife." The Priest declared.
"You may kiss the bride." The Priest finished.
Jason proceeded to lift Neo's veil, and the two kissed as their guest applauded their union. Afterward, the afterparty was underway, and everyone mingled and danced while Neo and Jason slow danced with one another.
"I love your dress, by the way." Jason complimented.
"Thanks. I knew you'd like it." Neo smiled as she placed her head on Jason's chest.
"This is the happiest day of my life," Neo stated.
"Happiest day of your life so far," Jason noted as Neo gave him a kiss.
After a little while, the party got a new reason to celebrate as not only Jaune but Krillin too proposed to Pyrrha and 18 respectively with Neo and Jason's permission to do so on their wedding as long as it was after the ceremony. Both said yes, and the celebration increase tenfold before the sun sunk below the horizon.
"You know, my friend, I never thought I would see this day." Evan teased as he, Jason, Damian, Alex, and Elias sat with one another.
"Yeah, seeing as you were the one who tried to pick up girls, and the rest of us didn't really care, Jason did seem to be the last person to get married." Damian agreed.
"Hey, just because I didn't understand love at first, that doesn't mean I can't fall in love," Jason replied.
"Still though, we've come a long way, haven't we?" Alex pointed out.
"Yeah, to think all of this and more happened after Beacon." Jason smiled.
"You say that like things are coming to an end," Elias replied.
"Yeah, I doubt any of the madness is ending anytime soon." Evan agreed.
"So Elias, when did you get the courage to finally ask Amber out?" Evan asked.
"During my fight with Jarze. That demon was relentless, and it reminded me that life was short and I shouldn't count on the Dragon Balls all the time." Elias began.
"It was then that I came to the decision to ask her out. After all, I've wanted to do it for a while now." Elias finished.
"Good thing you asked her out and didn't put her in a position to make the first move like Neo did with Jason," Alex smirked.
"Hey! Well…your not exactly wrong." Jason sighed.
"You know this is probably the last time though the five of us will be together like this." Damian pointed out as they watched the party.
"True with Evan going back to Other World tomorrow and us having our own jobs, it's going to be a while before we all see one another." Jason agreed.
"Hey, it's not like it's the end of the world. I'll always be watching. But sadly, I can't really talk all too often since the dead aren't technically allowed to talk to the living. King Kai just bends the rules from time to time." Evan replied.
"Well, since we're all here, let's take a commemorative photo!" Jason suggested as they took a picture of them together before Jason went to get some of him and Neo.
As Jason and Neo took their wedding photo's the rest split up and merged with the party. Elias began dancing with Amber while Damian and Alex talked it up with Piccolo and Krillin. Evan, on the other hand, finally got to spending time with Yang.
"So have you been following my rules while in the Other World?" Yang asked as she and Evan danced.
"Yes, I made sure not to stare at other women, but that being said aren't you trying to see other men?" Evan pointed out.
"Hey, I'm still alive, and a girl's got a right to be with whoever she wants," Yang smirked.
"That doesn't seem fair, but I know with you the rules are always in your favor." Evan sighed.
"It's funny though I never saw Jaune being the one to pop the question." Evan laughed as he and Yang looked at Jaune and Pyrrha.
"Yeah, I'm happy for them. But you know I'm feeling a little left out." Yang smiled.
"Okay, so what do you want to do because I know that look?" Evan asked.
"My house…my room…ten minutes." Yang requested.
"Okay, not wasting this chance," Evan smirked as he and Yang told Jason and Neo congratulations one last time before going to Yang's home.
Several Hours Later…
"Kais above!" Evan shouted as bed springs were heard from outside the house.
"Not bad, right?" Yang questioned.
"Oh yeah!" Evan agreed.
"Solar!" Evan began.
"BUSTER!" Evan finished as an orange beam shot out the roof.
"I love you." Yang smiled.
"Love you too," Evan replied.
Hours Prior…
"Your ring looks amazing, Neo," Ruby complimented as she and several of the other woman talked. The ring itself was made of gold and tipped with a pick diamond-like crystal.
"Your lucky Neo, as someone who's also married to a Saiyan, let me tell you you got off well. While I'm still happy with Vegeta, he doesn't show his emotions as much as Jason does." Bulma commented.
"Is it really that hard being married to a Saiyan?" Blake asked.
"With Goku, it was. I still love him, but he never had a job and would spend too much time training. Of course, deep down, he still cared about us." Chi-Chi explained.
"Vegeta's the same, though, unlike Goku, he doesn't show his emotions as much save for anger. He would still do anything to help, of course." Bulma said.
"You just have to take the good and the bad with the person you love," Bulma added.
"I don't see much bad with Jason but thanks for the advice." Neo thanked though Ruby had to translate for the Earth women.
"So I don't want to be rude, but did you really meet Jason by bumping into him on the street?" Bulma inquired as Neo nodded.
"I remember when I met Goku, it was when he saved my life," Chi-Chi said.
"Vegeta was…different when we met." Bulma sighed, not wanting to reveal that it was when Vegeta was still their enemy.
"By the way, what's his name?" Ruby asked as she looked at Goten.
"This is my son Goten." Chi-Chi introduced.
"He looks like a mini Goku." Blake pointed out.
"He's so cute!" Ruby exclaimed as Chi-Chi, and soon after, Bulma showed off Goten and Trunks.
"So I hear you're also a Cyborg is that true?" 18 asked as she and Krillin approached Elias and Amber.
"That's right. My name's Elias. It's a pleasure to meet you." Elias answered as he and 18 shook hands.
"I'm 18. I was converted into a cyborg a long time ago." 18 replied.
"So that's why Krillin asked if I felt anything different. I myself was created like this." Elias explained.
"Created?" 18 questioned.
"Yeah, I'm actually a clone as well as a cyborg. It's…complicated." Elias laughed.
"You grew since we last met Gohan," Nora commented as she and Ren talked with the Half-Saiyan.
"Thanks. I'm glad I'm finally getting taller." Gohan smiled.
"I'm hoping to be as tall as my Dad one day," Gohan added.
"So, how's the training been going? Have you gotten any stronger?" Ren asked.
"Yeah, and thankfully my mom is allowing me to start training again," Gohan answered.
"It's a good thing too because I don't want to be screamed at again." Piccolo sighed.
"Not having fun, Vegeta?" Jason asked as he joined his fellow Saiyan, who stood in a lone area.
"Occasions like this aren't for me," Vegeta responded.
"I'm actually surprised you came, but thanks for coming." Jason thanked.
"Hm, it's only natural since we are the last full-blooded Saiyans we should show customaries like this," Vegeta replied.
"Well, whatever the reason." Jason laughed.
The party soon died down as everyone began to head home, and Jason brought everyone from Earth back upon their request. Once he did, Bulma gave him a last-minute present being a capsule space ship with a gravity chamber within, allowing him to train under higher gravity.
"Thanks, Bulma!" Jason thanked.
"It's no problem." Bulma smiled.
"By the way, Vegeta," Jason called, getting Vegeta's attention.
"If you ever want a rematch, I'm up for it whenever you want." Jason offered.
"I'll take you up on that offer," Vegeta smirked.
"Hey, Jason," Gohan called.
"Sup Gohan?" Jason asked.
"I was wondering if you can come over every now and again and help me train?" Gohan requested.
"Sure thing, I'm always up for some training," Jason answered.
"Wait, but how will you guys contact each other?" Krillin questioned.
"Oh wait, hold on, I got this," Bulma stated as she pulled out another capsule.
"This is got a phone I designed for interplanetary communication. It's an advancement on one I made when we had to go to Namek." Bulma explained as she handed it to Jason.
"Sweet," Jason smirked.
"What's a phone?" Jason asked.
"Don't you have phones on Remnant to talk to people long distance?" Bulma questioned.
"You mean a scroll?" Jason inquired.
"I guess," Bulma responded.
After saying goodbye to his friends from Earth, he returned to Remnant, and he and Neo returned to their home, now husband and wife. They spent some time with each other before going to the bedroom for some 'quality time'.
Several Hours Later…
"Oh god!" Jason yelled as bed springs could be heard from outside his home.
"This is even better!" Jason shouted.
"Armageddon….!" Jason began.
"BLAST!" Jason yelled as a yellow blast broke through the ceiling.
"Never gets old." Jason smiled as he and Neo went to bed.
Months Later…
Several months had passed since Jason and Neo's wedding, and during that time, Jaune and Pyrrha's wedding also occurred. Everything was going great for the people of Remnant, and things seemed to only get better as Neo announced she was pregnant.
Not only that, but it turned out that Yang, too, was pregnant with Evan's child. Though the question of how someone who is dead could impregnate someone, Jason decided not to question it.
After learning that he would soon be a father, Jason decided to branch out to earn more money. While being a huntsman still paid good money, especially since the Grimm slowly began to return, Jason wanted to make a little extra.
Since he learned that he enjoyed building things, Jason got into the construction industry, building homes and other buildings both in and outside the kingdoms. He even added an extension to his house so that there would be more room for the baby.
While he did this, he still kept up with his training, especially with Bulma's gift getting up to two hundred thirty times Remnant's gravity. Jason would also go to Earth twice a month to train with Gohan and have some spars with Vegeta joined time from time by Elias.
But even as the months passed, Jason couldn't get Sekai's warning out of his head. This Majin Buu, whatever it was, it concerned Jason. The very thought of a being stronger than Sekai pushed him to train harder and push Super Saiyan Primal further.
If the creature did exist, Jason wasn't going to allow it to threaten the universe, especially now that he was going to be a father. But for now, Jason was happy as he looked over his pregnant wife.
Elsewhere…
"Master Babidi, it seems there are fighters in the universe with enough power to revive Majin Buu, sir," Dabura reported as he knelt before the small wizard.
"I see. Good, I can finally revive my father's creation and exact my revenge on Supreme Kai!" Babidi laughed.
"Too true, sir, but it seems the Supreme Kai is currently watching it. During the time since we found it, my sons had made a ruckus in the universe." Dabura began.
"It seems that they too knew of Majin Buu, and before he died, my youngest told his killer about him, causing the Supreme Kai to become suspicious," Dabura explained.
"I see. Then we will wait until his guard is down then." Babidi decided.
"I do hope the deaths of your sons won't affect your loyalty, will it, Dabura?" Babidi questioned.
"Of course not, Milord. They were childish, especially my eldest Zandaka, who was split by the regular Kai." Dabura answered.
"Excellent!" Babidi smirked.
"Revenge shall be mine!" Babidi thought as Dabura left the room.
Everything has gone back to normal as our heroes go on with their lives. Jason and Neo finally wed and are soon to become parents. However, the evil wizard Babidi bides his time on reviving the sealed Majin Buu! Will our heroes be able to stop Babidi, or will the malicious Majin Buu be revived? Find out Next Time!
Author's Notes:
Hey guys, I got a fast update today because I just felt inspiration take hold, and I had to write this chapter. Now before I get into anything else, I wanted to say this again I am making Majin Buu considerably stronger than he was in canon.
I said it last chapter, but I decided to say it again, and because I am making him stronger, and of course Jason is here, the Buu saga will be much different than cannon. While there will be some things that still happen, many other things will be different.
Okay, with that out of the way, let's get to it. Before anyone asks why none of the Kais know about Majin Buu, it is to my understanding that only the Supreme Kai knew about him, and none of the lower Kais knew of his existence.
That is why no one could confirm his existence. Now since I already confirmed the existence of the Supreme Kai in the previous arc, I had to give a reason why he wouldn't contact everyone.
I thought it would make sense that the Supreme Kai would seclude himself as in cannon Dragon Ball it seemed that even the lower Kai didn't really know about him. When Piccolo realized who he was during the World Martial Arts Tournament, he did say that it was only a rumor that there was a Supreme Kai.
So I compromised those two ideologies as the Supreme Kai rarely leaves his planet and contacts his fellow Kai as he is not always allowed to deal with situations. But since Beerus's ass is asleep, sometimes he has to do things himself.
Okay, on the topic of the wedding, I hope you guys enjoyed it because I did the best I could with it. I never actually been to a wedding, and all I could reference from was what I heard about it and tv.
So yeah, again, I did the best I could, and also, I didn't bother with vows because I didn't want the ceremony to take too long, and I didn't want to do the confusing way they would be expressed.
I.E., Jason would be saying his aloud, and Neo can only use sign language and thoughts, which I didn't feel like having to explain. Either way, I just decided to do the I do's and all and just have multiple characters talk to one another, so…yeah, that's all I could think of for a wedding.
Now about Evan being able to, you know, impregnate Yang, honestly, I don't know if it would actually work, but since he kept his body in Other World, so I thought screw it. Also, I had to do the sex joke one…or I guess in this case, two more times XD.
Before I get to the reviews, I also wanted to say that yeah, Gohan isn't going to get weaker since now he'll actually get to train. I would think that Gohan had learned that it was essential to remain strong to protect people, so that is why he would stand up to his mother.
While he would live a normal life, I do think it would make sense for him to keep training, right? Well, that's all I have to say on that, so let's get to the reviews:
P6lishb6kser – Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
MattMatrix – First off, yes, when Jason received energy from the Atlas cannon, it was full power SSJ4 though I want to try to achieve it other ways than having to have Jason rely on people giving him energy like Goku did in GT. Thanks for clearing up the stuff about SSJ grade 4. That's appreciated, and I'm glad you were inspired to write a story of your own good luck!
Mara – I know I am 'messing up the power scale,' but like I said before, I am making Majin Buu stronger than he was in Z. As for Moro, I don't really read the DBS manga, and for Beerus, well…Beerus comes later.
Well, that's all I have for today. I hope you guys enjoyed and I'll see you next time!
