With entry into the Kalos league driving both Ash and Alex forward, our heroes now head toward Cyllage City, the home of Ash and Alex's next Kalos gym battle.
"If we don't hurry, we won't get to the Pokemon Center before the sun sets." Serena said, knowing how the dark sky is coming as it was almost night time as the group knew how to use these situations like these.
"Then we can just camp out. No big deal." Ash said as the group stopped, Serena got startled by the idea.
"We'll camp out?" Serena nervously said, she wasn't a fan of that idea they were mentioning.
"What's wrong?" Ash asked to Serena whom was more nervous about their ideas.
"Don't you have your gear?" Clemont asked serena, she was nervous.
"I mean, you need it. That's why I got mine still." Alex said as he got his gear in his backpack for a tent.
"Well, actually... My mom told me this might happen, but I never really considered that I'd end up having to sleep outside for real." Serena said, knowing she might have gone to this situation that was happening.
"I brought an extra sleeping bag with me, so you're welcome to use if you'd like." Clemont said, knowing he could help out to Serena.
"And you can sleep with me in my tent!" Bonnie said to Serena, making an offer to give her help.
"I got my own bag and stuff, so you can use if you feel uncomfortable." Alex said, wanting to give it to Serena which she seemed calm.
"Don't worry!" Pikachu said to Serena, it was nice to help out.
"Oh, That's so nice." Serena said with a slight sigh, being happy to get help.
Nighttime, A Few minutes Later...
"Everyone ready to have a big dinner?" Ash said, asking every one of the Pokemon which they were excited for to have.
"Yeah!" The Pokemon said as soon Clemont and Alex made a big dinner for all the group to have something good with noodles and such.
"Wow, what a feast! Everything looks so totally delicious!" Serena said, she was amazed about how they cooked a fancy meal to each other.
"Heh, We worked hard to cook those." Alex said as he was proud, Clemont smiled at Alex and sat down on a seat.
"Help yourselves! Bon appetit!" Clemont said, as everyone began to eat their meals together.
"..." Every Pokemon and all our heroes were enjoying their dinner together to make themselves feel full and a lot better.
"It's great! You're really a good cook!" Ash said to Clemont, he was amazed how a science man could cook meals.
"Thanks! Cooking is a lot like inventing. Make a plan, gather materials and then go. Alex did really help out a lot." Clemont said, he explained a lot about his cooking style and thanked alex for the hard work.
"Yeah, The journey to cooking was tough. But worth it!" Alex said, knowing how tough the cooking way for his last few years but he was making it worth it every time.
"My big brother the chef! Hooray!" Bonnie said excitingly from the big brother cooking skills.
"..." Everyone finished their dinners at last. They were full to the brim with food.
"Mmn, that was wonderful. Thanks so much!" Serena said as she thanked Clemont and Alex for the whole meal they had made as she was excited.
"Yeah, thanks!" Bonnie said alongside with Serena.
"Oh yeah.. am I stuffed." Ash said as he was full to the brim with food.
"You're welcome, everyone!" Alex said as Serena had an idea for herself to the group.
"Now, who has room for dessert? Yesterday when we stayed at the Pokemon Center, I made macarons!" Serena said, as she made macarons for the entire group for them.
"Nobody makes them like you do!" Clemont said, knowing that Serena makes the best Macarons.
"Yay!" Bonnie cheered excitingly for the macarons.
"Hey, I want one!" Ash said, wanting to have a piece of dessert.
"I'll get the tea!" Clemont said as he hurried to get some tea for the group.
"Huh? Chespin?" Bunnelby said as he was trying to help pick up empty bowls and looked around for Chespin on where he was.
"Macarons and tea make the perfect combination! Okay, let's try them!" Clemont said as they know it could work, he got the tea ready but as Serena opened the basket, there was no macarons!
"Huh?" Bonnie said as the empty basket was there.
"It's empty." Clemont said, as they heard a rustle noise.
"Excuse me? What was that?" Serena said as she looked over to see what was going on.
"Oh no!" Serena cried out, seeing a bunch of nothingness.
"Oh man." Ash said, being bummed out from the empty basket.
"But how?" Pikachu asked in confusion, where was the macrarons?
"Oh, that's so weird! Could I have dropped them?" Serena said as she began to look around for the macarons.
"I hope not." Bonnie said as Clemont looked to Chespin's hiding spot behind a rock.
"Huh?! Hey, Chespin! Did you take all the macarons again!?" Clemont said as he glanced over to Chespin's hiding spot.
"Yeah, there good!" Chespin said, holding some macarons and eating another one.
"Ah! You can't eat them all!" Clemont cried out to Chespin who was being bad.
"Oh! Come and get it!" Chespin said as he began to run away with the last macaron.
"Come on!" Clemont scolded to Chespin.
"Haaha! Whoah Oof! Urp." Chespin laughed as he tripped over something and accidently ate the last macaron for himself.
"That was the last macaron!" Clemont cried out as Chespin ate everything as Clemont was in dissaray from the last macaron being empty.

EPISODE 16: Chespin's Gluttony! (Alex)
"On behalf of Chespin, I sincerely apologize!" Clemont said as ge apologized to everyone whom was trying to re-fix what chespin messed up.
"It's alright, Clemont." Alex said, knowing it wasn't big of a deal that much.
"Forget it." Ash said to Clemont, it wasn't big of a deal.
"Yeah, It's really not that big of a deal." Serena said, knowing she would make more of a better dessert.
"Maybe. But I really wanted a macaron." Bonnie moaned out as she wanted one.
"Me too." Dedenne chimed in onto Bonnie's moaning.
"Don't worry. I can always make more!" Serena said, knowing she'll make more macarons.
"Hey, Can you teach me about making macarons one day?" Alex said, asking Serena if he could help in making Macarons for himself.
"Sure, I can help!" Serena said as Alex smiled, wanting to make macarons together.
"Mm, mm. Aah." Chespin said as he was using a stick to clean his teeth while the other team members looks mad at Chespin.
"Okay, now that we're all set. How about a Pokemon battle?" Ash said, wanting a battle other pokemon to train.
"Sounds good to me!" Clemont said as he wants to use an idea.
"I'll train my team tomorrow or something." Alex said, wanting to keep his team safe and secure for battling tomorrow.
"Hey Chespin, let's battle and get a little exercise." Clemont said as he was selecting Chespin.
"Ugh, Alright." Chespin moaned out as he didn't seem ready.
"..." Ash and Clemont were standing off against each other as Chespin had a fat belly as he was chosen for Clemont while Ash had selected Froakie out to battle against Clemont's chespin who had a fat belly.
"Let's go, Froakie!" Ash said to the frog pokemon who was ready to battle.
"Right away!" Froakie said, being stern to battle
"Chespin, now it's your time to shine!" Clemont said as Chespin who got into battle with a big fat belly of his.
"Yeah, right away!" Chespin said being muffled with food in ready for preparations to battle with Froakie, Ash made the first move.
"Froakie, use bubble!" Ash commanded to Froakie as he was ready to make his first move.
"Bubble!" Froakie said as he took a deep breath and fired off many bubbles to Chespin.
"Dodge!" Clemont called out to chespin to get out of the way.
"Hurp... Grruup!" Chespin moaned as his belly was making him slower to dodge bubble as he got hit by a few bubbles.
"Chespin's usually much faster than that." Serena said, knowing Chespin was never this slow.
"I think it's tummy is full." Bonnie said, seeing why the slowness was kicking in.
"Now, Chespin use tackle!" Clemont said, making his move to try to get Chespin to move out of the way.
"Hurh. Guurh.." Chespin muttered out as he slowly stomped toward froakie with the belly fat he had.
"Hm." Froakie muttered as he managed to dodge without a problem.
"Whoah!" Chespin said as he planted himself face first into the ground.
"'Kay, Froakie, use Pound!" Ash said to froakie to get a clear hit on chespin.
"Ghhhmmm..." Froakie said as he was ready to hit pound on Chespin.
"Dodge it, chespin!" Clemont called out to the spiky pinned Pokemon.
"Whuah!" Chespin moaned out as he somehow got out of the way.
"Faster, move!" Clemont called out, wanting to dodge the attack so bad.
"Whhuff Oof." Chespin said as he tried to move out of the way and charged at Froakie again.
"Hhm, Hrragh.." Froakie said as he jumped from a tree and was coming in to deliver the blow to Chespin.
"Hurrp, Hurr?" Chespin said as he looked left and right for froakie but froakie landed behind him and then...
"Hmph, jerk." Froakie said as he smacked Chespin so bad with Pound he rolled forward and was beaten bad as he rolled till he stopped.
"Urf, Ugh." Chespin moaned out as he stopped, his eyes had swirls on them and was defeated by Froakie's pound.
"Ahh. Oh well." Clemont gasped as he moaned out being defeated embarassing like that.
"Stop! That's it." Serena called out, knowing that was brutal way to be defeated someone like froakie.
"Oh wow." Pikachu said being surprised Chespin was defeated in the worst way possible.
"Guess I won, but..." Ash said, not sure if he would call that a victory.
"A bit too much of a one shot?" Alex said, seeing if Ash went too hard on poor Chespin.
"Yeah. That would seem like it." Froakie stuttered out with a non-impressed face.
"Oh, being a gym leader and losing like that is kind of embarassing..." Clemont moaned out as he felt embarassed by that.
"The way things are now, I bet even Dedenne could beat Chespin in a battle!" Bonnie said, seeing that Dedenne can easily beat Chespin in a battle.
"Yeah!" Dedenne said, being ready to battle Chespin next.
"No way. I don't think that would ever happen." Clemont said, knowing that should not be the case.
"Grrmph." Chespin angrily muttered out, Bonnie was willing to take the chance.
"Yeah? Prove it! Battle us!" Bonnie said, wanting to have a battle next.
"Yeah! I wanna see that." Ash said, taking Bonnie's side into the battle of big brother or little sister.
"Maybe it could prove bonnie her worth to be a trainer." Alex said, maybe Bonnie could have the chance to become a trainer herself to battle.
"Whaddaya Say, Chespin?" Clemont said to Chespin, whom was ready to battle.
"Fine. Round two!" Chespin angrily muttered out to get ready to battle.
"Time for a round." Dedenne said, getting ready to go battle against Chespin who was still having a belly fat stomach.
"Dedenne, show them what you can do!" Bonnie said to Dedenne, being ready to battle next.
"Right." Dedenne said, getting ready to go.
"Are you ready, Chespin? Now don't be overconfident just because your opponent happens to be smaller than you!" Clemont said to Chespin, knowing that being the bigger pokemon had nothing to do with being good.
"Understood." Chespin said, trying to gain confidence.
"Wow, I wonder if Chespin can handle this?" Serena asked, was Chespin going to be alright with his fatness getting in the way?
"It's stomach looks pretty full." Ash said, still seeing Chespin's fat body going to get in the way.
"Poor him." Pikachu muttered out, feeling bad for Chespin.
"Let's see if Chespin can handle the pressure." Alex said as Clemont decided to make his move first.
"Now, this time we'll go first! Use Tackle!" Clemont said as he went first with a tackle.
"Ragh! Tack- Whoaaah..." Chespin growled as he charged ahead but tripped and rolled and stopped face first in front of Dedenne's face.
"Talk about a Tackle." Alex said as the group slightly chuckled with Dedenne looking at Chespin as Chespin turned his face to Dedenne.
"Hey." Chespin sweatdropped, seeing dedenne in front of him. Dedenne had sparks coming out.
"Thunder Shock!" Dedenne cried out as he shocked Chespin pretty good.
"Waaaaah! Ough." Chespin cried out before the shocks stopped and had swirls on his eyes.
"Aw..." Clemont moaned out as Bonnie was more excited than ever.
"You did it!" Bonnie cheered in a happy tone.
"Alright!" Dedenne said excitingly as he won a battle.
"And it looks like little sister comes out on top." Ash said, seeing how the little sister won in the weirdest way possible.
"Yeah, and big brother gets knocked down a notch or two..." Serena said, being knocked down a peg or two.
"That might ruin his reputition for Gym leader." Alex said, that was more embarrasing than ever.
"Well said." Pikachu said, slightly sweatdropping as Clemont lost in the worst way possible.
A Few Minutes later.
"Zzz..." Ash and Alex were both fast asleep. Sleepy than ever before.
"Look, Look! Caterpie!" Bonnie said as she made a pokemon impression of caterpie, which made Serena laugh in excitement.
"That's great! Okay, my turn! Who?" Serena said as she made her turn now and made an impression of a Swadloon which Bonnie was guessing.
"Uhh... I know! You're a Swadloon!" Bonnie stuttered as she suddenly got an answer.
"Exactly!" Serena said as both girls were having fun.
"Looks just like it!" Bonnie said as Clemont was working on something outside.
"Amazing!" Dedenne said being enjoyed with what was going on with the girls.
"Okay, Okay. How about this?" Bonnie said as she was making more impressions, but with Clemont on the outside.
"Okay now, Chespin. I'm a gym leader and you're my Pokemon, so here's the deal." Clemont said to his Chespin as he was working on a new machine that was looking like some sort of treadmill.
"Aw man im tired..." Chespin weakly stuttered out.
"We can't have you battling like that just because you ate to much. But not to worry!" Clemont said as he wanted to help out Chespin, but some scent of smell was getting into Chespin's nose as he sniffed.
"Hmm, the smell..." Chespin sniffed as he slowly walked away from Clemont without him noticing.
"With this machine, you'll be full of energy in no time!" Clemont said as he continued on to work while Chespin was still following with the smell.
"I'm coming..." Chespin said as he followed on.
"There, all done! We'll get you moving again with my brand new invention!" Clemont said as he was done with his machine, soon he got himself on the treadmill with some equipment.
"Now, if this test run is successful, I'll have chespin use it." Clemont said as he attached the equipment on himself.
"Okay, here goes. Exercise gear, on!" Clemont said as he pushed a button and began to continue to slowly walk with the treadmill in the night.
"Heh, I feel it! Treadmill accelerator speed... On...!" Clemont stuttered as he slowly began to feel the speed.
"Hahah. I can't wait for Chespin to take a crack at this!" Clemont chuckled as he continued onward but was realizing there was a slight issue.
With Clemont's Chespin.
"Mmmaaah..." Chespin muttered as he continued onward through the foggy forest to follow the smell.
With Clemont now.
"Huff. Huff..." Clemont muttered out as he was tired.
Back to Clemont's Chespin
"Aaah..." Chespin delightfully said as he was long gone.
Back to Clemont who was helpless.
"Aaah, how do I stop this thing!? Ah-" Clemont cried out as he was not sure how to stop the machine when a sudden explosion went off, waking the group up.
"Whoa! What was that?!" Ash said as everyone got out of their tents.
"Talk about a rude awakening..." Alex moaned as still sleepy from the night.
"Black smoke! What happened?" Serena said as she noticed the black smoke from their nearby camp.
"Who was that?" Pikachu asked as it revealed to be Clemont covered in black sut from the smokey explosion.
"Ugh... ack.. ack.." Clemont coughed out from the scene.
"Oh, big brother?" Bonnie muttered out, what did Clemont do now this time?
"What are you doing?" Serena asked to Clemont in curiousity.
"Whoa, what is this?" Ash asked, what did Clemont make this time?
"And why did you wake us up with this invention of yours?" Alex said, wondering why the invention explosion woke the group up.
"Well, it's exercise gear designed to help get Chespin back into tip-top condition." Clemont said, wanting to serve his purpose for his Chespin.
"I don't think that it works." Bonnie said, seeing that the invention failed again.
"Not at all." Dedenne sighed out.
"Using it in the middle of the night was strange to me." Alex said, having a invention during the middle of night was weird.
"This will only take a second to repair. So why don't you give my invention a try, Chespin?" Clemont said as he wanted Chespin to have a go, Alex looked over to see Chespin went missing.
"Wait. Where is he?" Alex said, seeing Chespin was not there.
"Hey, I don't see Chespin anywhere." Serena said, they all realized Chespin was gone.
"I know Chespin was here just a minute ago. It could've gotten frightened away by the explosion and gone to hide." Clemont said, knowing Chespin was there earlier but now he must've vanished from the explosion.
"Well, it couldn't have gone far." Ash said, knowing Chespin couldn't have gone very far.
"Where did he run to?" Alex asked, knowing where that spiky pokemon went to.
"Hey! Hey, Chespin!" Serena said, calling out to Chespin.
"Chespin! Where are you?!" Bonnie called out for Chespin.
"Chespin! Where are you?" Pikachu said, everyone was looking for Chespin now.
Meanwhile with Chespin
"Aaah.. uh.." Chespin said as he stopped the smell and slept on the porch.
Back with our heroes
"Chespin! Can you hear us!?" Ash called out as everyone was dressed up and looking for Chespin.
"Chespin! Where you hiding, buddy?" Alex called out for Chespin, wanting to see where Chespin was.
"I sure hope we find it soon." Serena said, hoping they would find the Chespin.
"Gee, maybe Chespin doesn't like us anymore?" Bonnie said, wondering what if Chespin ran from them.
"Huh!? ooah.." Clemont gasped and sighed in worry.
"Don't worry. We're gonna find Chespin." Ash said, knowing they would find Chespin.
"Were just gonna have to widen the search a bit." Serena said, knowing they would have to expand the searching.
"If we explore in a lot of different areas. It won't be hard." Alex said, knowing they can look in multiple directions.
"'Kay, Let's go!" Ash said, as they should do that.
"Right!" Pikachu said as everyone kept up their search.
"Come on chespin!" Alex said, calling for Chespin even more.
Meanwhile with Chespin
"Zzz... Oh smell..." Chespin muttered sleepily.
"..." Chespin was still asleep as an old lady managed to see the Chespin.
"Oh my! What a cute little chespin! but what are you doing here, I wonder?" An old lady's voice said, noticing Chespin on their porch.
Back with our heroes
"Hey, Chespin?!" Ash called out for Chespin once again.
"Chespin!" Pikachu called out for Chespin.
"Chespin? Where are you?" Alex asked, where was Chespin to them?
"Ah... Ah... I'm really starting to get worried." Clemont muttered out as he was worried than ever.
"I wonder if Chespin was really shocked after losing so bad..." Bonnie said, wondering if Chespin was more embarassed.
"It's my fault. I was the one who forced Chespin to have a battle after it had eaten all of those macarons and now it doesn't like me anymore... Chespin must've run away, I know it." Clemont said, apologizing for what he had done to Chespin to make him lose the belly fat.
"I'm sure that's not true." Serena said, trying to cheer up Clemont.
"Besides, if it did. Where would it go next?" Alex said, knowing what would Chespin do.
"Maybe, I really hope you're both right." Clemont said, knowing that might be true.
"Let's all split up and search the whole area." Serena said, hopefully they can search more.
"Yeah! Pikachu and I will go look over there!" Ash said as he pointed to a direction.
"I'll look beyond those trees there. Maybe we can get more air than before." Alex said as he pointed to somewhere else as a direction.
"Come on Buddy!" Ash said as he made a quick dash to go find Chespin.
"Yeah!" Pikachu said as he joined with Ash.
"We'll come back here when we find chespin!" Ash said as he and Pikachu went to find Chespin in that direction.
"Okay, I'll look over this way!" Serena said, wanting to go another way.
"Me too!" Bonnie said, hoping to help out.
"I'll look over there. Hang on Clemont." Alex said, wanting to hurry and find Chespin and dashed off.
"Then I'll go in this direction and take a look!" Clemont said, as he was looking Chespin for himself.
Meanwhile. With Chespin, Once again!
"Zzzzz... mmm.. aaahhh!" Chespin slept as he suddenly woke up to a smell.
"And it should be done." The old lady said as she seemed to make macarons.
"Macarons! Those look delicious!" Chespin said, being awakened as the old lady noticed chespin waking up.
"So, you're awake." The old lady said, seeing how chespin was waked up again.
"I've just baked some delicious macarons." The old lady said as she looked at Chespin.
"Yum! Macarons!" Chespin said as he was more excited for more macarons to eat for himself.
"Oh. Huh?" Clemont said as he was walking through the bushes and noticed Chespin on the old lady's porch.
"Hmm." Chespin said as he was excited, Clemont was surprised to see Chespin.
"It's chespin." Clemont said. Being surprised.
"So, dear... do you like the macarons that I baked?" The old lady said as he was enjoying the macarons the old lady made.
"Yeah!" Chespin said as he was happy to eat some.
"Why that is just wonderful. You may eat as much as you like." The old lady said, making sure Chespin was enjoying himself.
"Alright then. Nom" Chespin said as he took a macaron and ate it.
"It looks so happy... " Clemont said as he flashbacked to when Froakie pounded it and Dedenne used thunder shock on it with Chespin fainting both times to it. Clemont watched as Chespin was enjoying himself before Clemont realized it and decided to walked away.
"Find it?" Serena said as the group regrouped together.
"No, i didn't see Chespin anywhere." Ash said, knowing he didn't find chespin.
"Not on my end." Alex said, not finding him either.
"Where is he?" Pikachu asked, where was he?
"Me neither." Serena sighed, this wasn't good.
"I can't believe Chespin would run away from us." Bonnie said, would Chespin do this?
"Why would he do that?" Dedenne asked in worry.
"Hey, Clemont! Any news about Chespin?" Ash said as Clemont approached the group slowly.
"Yeah. I found it." Clemont said, the others gasped in amazement.
"Wait, YOU DID?" Alex said as he was more excited to hear about it.
"Wow! That's great!" Ash said, hearing the news about chespin.
"Wow!" Pikachu excitingly said about chespin.
"Thank goodness! So, why isn't chespin with you?" Serena said, but what about Chespin.
"Doesn't matter. I left Chespin where it was." Clemont said, shocking the group.
"But why?! Why would you leave Chespin!?" Bonnie asked, wondering why about it.
"Why would you?" Dedenne asked in worriness.
"Well, it was in a kind-looking old woman's house and Chespin looked really happy." Clemont said, telling the truth.
"You're kidding." Serena said, chespin being there.
"What are you talking about?" Ash said, why would Clemont leave Chespin?
"Well, I don't think that Chespin cares about me anymore." Clemont said, knowing about Chespin not caring.
"Nah, Let's go to that old woman's house." Alex said, should go toward the house but Clemont shook his head.
With Chespin now.
"Mm... Nom!" Chespin said as he ate another macaron.
"Eating my macarons seems to make you very happy." The old lady said, she was happy with Chespin having macarons.
"They do!" Chespin said, being excited more and more as he kept getting more belly fat.
"I'm glad you enjoy them so much!" The old lady said, she was all cheery and happy.
"You're amazing." Chespin said, being amazed by the old lady.
"Hey there!" The old man called out inside the house.
"Huh?!" Chespin said, being worried who it was.
"Well, it looks like Wylie's come back." The old lady said as it looked like her husband came back.
"Wylie?" Chespin said, who was Wylie?
"Home again, home again!" Wylie said, calling inside from outside.
"I was just thinking, maybe there's something you can do for me!" The old lady said as she asked Chespin fo something.
"Whaa! MMMM... WHAT?" Chespin said as he swallowed a macaron pretty hard and was worried.
"I won the village tournament. Boy am I hungry. Grandma where are you?" Wylie said as he put a trophy down on the table and looked around before seeing some macarons on the kitchen table.
"Oh those look good." Wylie said as he reached for one before the old lady yoinked it away.
"Just a minute! You can't touch those macarons yet!" The old lady said, taking away the macarons.
"Why not?" Wylie asked in curiousity, what was the old lady doing now?
"Not one single bite until you have a battle with me!" The old lady said, wanting to battle again.
"A battle again? you should know by now there's no way you're gonna beat me!" Wylie said, as he knew he wasn't going to lose again.
"Wait, maybe you've found a Pokemon you think can win against my Delphox?" Wylie said, wanting to know if the old lady found a pokemon to battle against his.
"That's right! I've got a secret weapon today! Meet Chespin!" The old lady said, Chespin gulped one down and freaked out in fear.
"A.. A... Battle?!" Chespin said, being more worried about battling again. Was it Deja Vu?
"Grass-type, eh? That's just fine. On one condition, If I win. You'll forgive me for what I've said yesterday." Wylie said, knowing he can do it but added in a condition of his own.
"All right, but if I win." The Old Lady said as she grabbed Chespin from his stomach.
"Hey! Put me down!" Chespin said as he was freaking out of being held by the old lady.
"Then you'll have to apologize to me!" The Old Lady said, as Wylie smirked. Chespin sweatdropped in nervousness.
"Now, today is the day that I finally defeat you in a Pokemon battle! All right Chespin!" The old lady said as she was going to get chespin fired up.
"Wait, no! I don't know about this!" Chespin said as he was freaking out, why was the old lady doing this?
"Right! Here we go, Delphox! Come on out!" Wylie said as he tossed a Pokeball out and came a Delphox.
"Grraah!" Delphox said as he appeared from it's pokeball.
"Uhh.." Chespin worriedly muttered.
"Will-O-Wisp!" Wylie called out for a move.
"Take this!" Delphox said as it got a branch from it's fur and started to fire away at Chespin.
"WAIT, WHOA!" Chespin cried out as an explosion was heard, startling the group from afar.
"Whoa!" Pikachu freaked out.
"What's that?!" Ash said, seeing the explosion from far away.
"It's coming from the house. Oh no, Chespin!" Clemont said, knowing that Chespin was in trouble.
"Clemont!" Bonnie said as she followed her big brother.
"Looks to me like Clemont still cares about Chespin an awful lot." Serena said as she knows Clemont cares for Chespin.
"At least he's kind-hearted." Alex said, knowing he cares for his pokemon.
"C'mon, let's go too." Ash said as they all followed Clemont.
"Let's move!" Pikachu said as they hurried along.
"Ah, leave me! No!" Chespin said back with the battle, dodging the flames.
"Oh, Chespin. No!" Clemont said as he was the first to arrive.
"Ah, Whoa!" Chespin said as he was trying to dodge easily.
"Ah... mmph." Clemont said as he gasped but was unable to do something.
"Please, little chespin! Stay strong! Quick, do something! Counter-attack!" The old lady said, begging Chespin to attack back.
"I'm too heavy." Chespin muttered out, knowing his fatness was getting in the way.
"Hahahah. Looks like it's going to be another win for me." Wylie chuckled and being all confident.
"Dear, I guess little chespin doesn't know how to battle after all." The Old lady said, being embarassed.
"What's chespin doing?" Ash said as the others arrived to see Clemont watching.
"It's having a battle!" Bonnie exclaimed, seeing what was Chespin doing.
"Shouldn't we stop it?" Ash said, trying to calm it down and sort it out.
"I mean, it's a misunderstanding is for sure." Alex said as Serena noticed the new Pokemon.
"Who's that Pokemon?" Serena said as she got out her Pokedex to scan it.
"Delphox, The Fox Pokemon. And the final evolved form of Fennekin. When Delphox stares into the flame on the tip of it's branch to achieve a focused state, It creates a white hot spiral of fire with it's psychic power." The Pokedex said, explaining about Delphox into it's data. Alex was surprised to see this was Fennekin's last form.
"Fennekin's final form? That?" Alex said, as Serena and Alex looked at each other.
"This isn't good. A fire-type like Delphox puts a grass type like Chespin at a disadvantage." Serena said, knowing the Pokemon types well.
"Sure does." Ash said, being shocked to see chespin battle a fire type.
"How did Chespin wander there though?" Alex said, full of curiousity now.
"Clemont! You've got to do something!" Bonnie said as she turned to Clemont.
"But what? I know Chespin doesn't like me anymore." Clemont said to Bonnie, knowing what can Chespin do to like Clemont back?
"It's time to wrap this thing up.. Delphox, Flamethrower!" Wylie said, wanting to finish the battle.
"Get ready!" Delphox said as it got it's stick out and pointed it at Chespin.
"Quick Pikachu! Go help Chespin, now!" Ash said to his partner as everyone looked at Ash.
"Right awa-" Pikachu said as Clemont actually charged instead of Pikachu.
"Chespin!" Clemont said as it got in front of Chespin.
"Take this!" Delphox said as it fired off flamethrower from the stick as Clemont blocked it with his Aipom Arm, Chespin opened its eyes.
"Huh? What?" Chespin said as it turned out too see Clemont, Wylie freaked out.
"Ah! Stop it, Delphox! Stop it now! Stop it!" Wylie called out to Delphox.
"Hmph." Delphox said as it stopped using Flamethrower.
"Chespin, Are you all right?" Clemont said as he looked at Chespin with relief.
"Yeah. Thank you." Chespin said, being happy to see Clemont again.
"Clemont!" Ash said, calling out to his friend.
"That was wild!" Alex said as Clemont got the situation and had to explain it all.
"I'm sorry. You see, Chespin is my Pokemon." Clemont explained to the old lady, she gasped and nodded.
"Well, what do you know. It looks like I made quite a mistake." The old lady said, seeing how the mistake was to them.
"Then thats that. I suppose that would make me the winner again." Wylie said, knowing that he was the winner.
"Oh.." The old lady muttered out, Chespin had a serious look on his face.
"No.. Hmph." Chespin said, as he got Clemont's attention.
"Chespin?" Clemont said, looking down at Chespin.
"Let me try again!" Chespin said, despite him having some belly fat, wanting to continue the battle. Clemont nodded and looked at the old lady.
"Hmm, Chespin and I would like to finish the battle for you, ma'am. Please?" Clemont said, wanting to battle for the old lady as she was surprised to hear this.
"I'm going to think about Chespin's feelings more. By doing that, Somehow I think that will help me grow as a person and a trainer." Clemont said as he wanted to get Chespin's feelings on the right foot.
"Not sure what you mean by that. But anyway, I'd be pleased to let you battle for me. And I'd be more pleased if you win! That old man owes me an apology, got it?" The old lady said, but then she let clemont off with a more bigger plea than ever that caught clemont by surprise.
"Wha?" Clemont stuttered out, this was a surprise.
"Wylie, that's okay with you, isn't it?" The old lady called out to Wylie.
"Uh, okay. If that's how the boy feels." Wylie said with Delphox in on the conversation.
"Thank you very much! You ready to go, Chespin?" Clemont said, having to thank them as he looked down at Chespin who was still belly-fat.
"Yes!" Chespin said, wanting to get into battle mode.
"Chespin sure looks like it means business now." Ash said, knowing that chespin was getting back into the fight.
"Good on chespin." Alex said, good for Chespin's part.
"I don't think clemont's feeling down anymore!" Serena said, seeing how Clemont was not being all gloomy and down.
"All right! You can do it you two!" Bonnie said as she cheered from the sidelines.
"Here we go then, battle begin!" The old lady said as she got out of the way and began to referee now.
"Will-O-Wisp!" Wylie said, wanting to attack first.
"Here we go! Take this!" Delphox said as it got the branch from it's fur out once again and fired off little fireballs.
"Now chespin! Dodge by rolling!" Clemont said, as he came up with a new strategy to use.
"Wha-mmph!" Chespin stuttered as he manged to roll out of the way to dodge attacks.
"It's no good making Chespin attack with a full stomach. But if it can keep moving and stay out of the way." Clemont thought to himself, knowing if Chespin can get out of the way. He can keep dodging without a problem.
"Hmph!" Chespin muffled out with a dodge of a roll once again.
"Delphox! use Flamethrower!" Wylie said, using Flamethrower once again to attack.
"Flamethrower!" Delphox said as it used it's stick to fire off flamethrower.
"All right, Chespin. Drop and Roll!" Clemont said as he knew how to dodge again.
"Hmph, Whoa!" Chespin said as he began to roll to dodge the flamethrower, slowly losing belly fat in the process.
"I don't know. Chespin just keeps rolling!" Bonnie said, seeing how Chespin is rolling.
"Is his strategy working? It's really hard to tell." Ash said, not knowing what Clemont is doing.
"I'm starting to think that it is. Being rounder helps it to roll around!" Serena said as it looked like Rolling could work.
"You could say that to Dunsparce." Alex said as he made an unmused face to serena.
"Oh, yeah. Maybe that'll keep chespin from getting hit." Bonnie said, knowing it was working.
"Will-O-Wisp!" Wylie said, using an attack for Will-o-Wisp.
"Will-O-Wisp!" Delphox said as it fired off more fireballs.
"Chespin! Keep rolling and dodging!" Clemont said, as Chespin kept rolling more and more.
"Hmph, heh." Chespin said as it began to lose more belly fat.
"Wow it is working! Now Chespin's starting to move faster and faster!" Ash said, seeing how Chespin is going a lot faster than before.
"I think he's back to regular form." Alex said, seeing it was back to itself.
"Yay Chespin! Way to go!" Bonnie cheered from the sidelines.
"Chespin! Feeling good?" Clemont said as he was back to normal, no more belly fat on him.
"Yeah!" Chespin said, feeling more better.
"Use Tackle!" Clemont commanded, ready to attack back.
"Tackle!" Chespin said as it charged in with tackle.
"Grragh!" Delphox said as it took damage from a simple tackle.
"Alright! Now Chespin's moving like it's regular self!" Clemont said, knowing how Chespin was back to himself.
"Yes!" Chespin happily said as he high-fived with Clemont in excitement.
"Let's keep it up! Use Vine Whip!" Clemont said, using another attack.
"Vine whip!" Chespin said as it used two vines from itself and went for Delphox.
"Hmph!" Delphox muttered as it blocked the attack.
"That won't work on us." Wylie said, seeing that move was nothing but silliness.
"Oh no!" Clemont called out, seeing how that didn't work.
"Use Flamethrower!" Wylie said, using Flamethrower to attack back.
"Flamethrower!" Delphox said as it hit directly to Chespin.
"Gaaaah. Mmph." Chespin cried out which shocked the group as Chespin landed in front of Clemont.
"Chespin!" Clemont said, seeing Chespin was hurt bad.
"Oh wow!" Alex cried out, seeing how strong that move was. Almost knocking him out.
"Chespin! You've got to get up! I believe in you!" Clemont said, trying to get Chespin up again with words.
"Nnggh.." Chespin groaned as he was gritting his teeth to embrace the pain.
"Get up! I believe in you!" Clemont said as Chespin had a sudden power.
"mmp.." Chespin said as it made a green aura around it for more power.
"What's that?" Serena said, seeing how Chespin powered up.
"Overgrow! Chespin's special ability!" Clemont said, explaining about the ability for Chespin.
"When chespin's in bad shape, it's grass-type moves get stronger!" Clemont said, explaining about the ability of overgrow.
"Oh! Like the other starters too!" Alex said, seeing how it could work for others too.
"Not done yet!" Chespin said as he was ready for more.
"Yes! It's really time to show them!" Clemont said, knowing its time to attack with more power.
"Yeah!" Chespin said as he got fired up.
"Vine whip, let's go!" Clemont said as he was ready for a strong move.
"Vine whip!" Chespin said as it went for another vine whip that struck the stick of Delphox out of it's hand.
"Grrooaaww! My stick!" Delphox cried out as it realized it had no stick in sight.
"Great! That's the way to do it!" Clemont said, seeing how strong it was.
"Yeah!" Chespin said as Wylie wasn't liking that as he was ready to go for a strong move back.
"I've still got a trick or two up my sleeve! I didn't think I need to use this, but i'm gonna and that'll be that!" Wylie said as he was really gonna get back with a fiery power in effect.
"But Wylie, you're gonna use that move? It's much too dangerous to use and you know it!" The old lady cried out, knowing how much that would hurt Wylie to get back in spirit.
"Now you be quiet! there's no going back now!" Wylie quietly snapped at the old lady as he new this was now or never!
"Huh!? Sounds like a super strong move that could hurt the pokemon that uses it!" Ash said, seemingly something big.
"But what kind of move?!" Alex asked, what move would it be?
"Head's up." Clemont said to Chespin.
"Right." Chespin said, being prepared for the attack.
"Now. Mystical Fi- aaaahhh!" Wylie said as he used something before something popped.
"My-my-my back! Aaah.." Wylie cried out as he fell on his said back in pain.
"Oh dear." Chespin said as he was nervous.
"Sir? Are you all right?" Clemont asked to Wylie, was he hurt or something?
"Oh, dear! Now didn't I tell you you'd hurt yourself, Wylie? Poor thing." The old lady said as she came to check on him, Delphox slightly looked concerned from what happened.
"Oh man, His back." Alex said, seeing how much his back was in pain.
"I see.. She meant Wylie get hurt. Not the Pokemon." Ash said, realizing what she meant. It was for Wylie.
"Poor old man." Pikachu said with a slight sweatdrop of worry.
"I'd say that's enough battling for one day, Wylie." The Old lady said. Seeing if wylie was done for now.
"I guess i'll letcha have this victory." Wylie said, wanting to surrender the win to her.
"Well I suppose we should call it a draw." The old lady said, making a fair call to them.
"I'm really sorry that we ended up dragging all you nice folks into our little family squabble." Wylie apologized to the group about what was going on.
"We had a fight yesterday." The old lady explained, that was going on between them.
Flashback, Yesterday.
"Really going after that soup, aren't you?" Wylie said as he was reading the newspaper and noticing the old lady was digging into the soup.
"What do you mean by that? Are you insinuating that I'm eating too much?" The old lady snapped back at him.
"Nope. I'm just saying a little restraint's healthy." Wylie said trying to act innocent.
"Oh yeah? Well there'll be no dinner for you tonight." The old lady said as she retaliated by taking the soup away.
"Hey... Come on..." Wylie said, being so hungry for that soup.
End of Flashback.
"Haha..." The group chuckled as it was embarassing for that to end it.
"That's how it went. Huh? What's your names?" Alex asked the old couple.
"My name's Wylie. Nice to meet you." Wylie said, introducing himself.
"I'm Carrie. Nice to meet you." Carrie said as she introduced herself, soon the group did too. Carrie noticed the box.
"Oh, what's that Wylie?" Carrie asked, what was the box for?
"Well, you see... I bought it for you with the hopes that we could make up." Wylie said as he opened the box to reveal some sort of cake.
"Wylie. Now isn't that sweet? I bet you were gonna apologize whether I won or lost, weren't you?" Carrie said, seeing how nice Wylie was to make it for her.
"Course I was." Wylie said, being a bit embarassed.
"Well then, I think we should all eat Wylie's apology. What do you say?" Carrie said as she asked the group.
"Ahh!" Bonnie said as her mouth was watering for food.
"Really?" Clemont said being surprised to hear.
"Sure, Why not?" Alex said, wanting to have some cake.
"All right!" Ash excitingly said, he was in.
"Delish!" Serena said as Bonnie was more happy.
"Yay!" Bonnie cheerily said as soon the trainers had their cake and were outside the house.
"Chespin dear, I can't thank you enough. I'd say you are a very lucky Pokemon to have teamed up with such a good and caring trainer!" Carrie said as she thanked Chespin too much for the times they had.
"Yeah!" Chespin said excitingly, clemont looked down to chespin.
"So you didn't run away because you didn't like me?" Clemont said, asking a curious question.
"No way!" Chespin said as he shook his head.
"Wow, no way! You like me, Chespin." Clemont said as Chespin got onto Clemont's shoulder.
"Clemont, looks to me like you imagined the whole thing." Ash said, seeing that Clemont had an imagination.
"I can tell how much chespin cares about you by watching the two of you in that battle." Serena said, seeing how they were working hard.
"At least you know that you care for each other is all." Alex said, knowing they care for each other in the end.
"Oh yeah! You were great!" Bonnie said, knowing how they managed to do it together.
"Great job!" Dedenne said, being happy they could do what they can.
"You're my special partner, I hope you and I can be friends forever!" Clemont said, knowing they are buddies forever.
"Friends!" Chespin said as they both smiled happily.
"Thanks for everything." Clemont said as he thanked Carrie and Wylie for the mishap that happened.
"We might continue on our journey now." Alex said, as they were gonna continue to Cyllage City.
"Come back anytime! And Alex, dear. Don't stop until you've found your mother. Until then, tell her we said hi." Carrie said, then she gave alex a small but happy speech to let him keep continuing.
"Thank you." Alex said as the group began to leave.
"Right!" Clemont said as they all waved goodbye to Carrie and Wylie to continue their journey onwards to Cyllage City for the next badge!
"It looks like it's getting a little dark." Ash said as he noticed the darkness was coming. It was slowly getting dark to them.
"Too dark." Pikachu said as Clemont was looking ahead.
"Yeah, It doesn't look like we'll get to the Pokemon Center tonight either." Clemont said as Serena dashed a bit up ahead.
"So, what do we do?" Alex said, seeing they needed to plan something.
"I have an idea! Let's just camp out! I thought of some more Pokemon to imitate!" Serena said, thinking they would camp out and have some more fun.
"Aw, Serena..." Alex said, knowing how much they would want to have fun.
And so, a brief misunderstanding has helped Clemont and Chespin strengthen the bond between them another happy ending in our heroes many exciting journey as the adventure continues!
