"All right, Froakie. Way to go!" Ash said as he and Froakie were training on their skills on the frog Pokemon, making them work very hard.
"Yeah!" Froakie said as he felt like he was getting there with his power.
"Take this! Yah! Huryah!" Froakie said as he was using his frubbles on trees and rocks to ensure his surroundings. Making them sticky.
"I want you to face the rock and use bubble!" Ash said, as Froakie nodded. The Frog Pokemon then turned around.
"Okay. Bubble!" Froakie said as he used bubble on the rocks, causing it to break.
"Awesome! Now use Water Pulse!" Ash said as he wanted to use a strong water pulse now.
"Water Pulse!" Froakie said as he used Water Pulse on a tree nearby it. Causing it to shake.
"Yes!" Ash said as he was proud of froakie.
"Awesome!" Froakie said, suddenly they heard someone.
"You still have much work to do." A man's voice said as it got the attention of Ash and his Froakie so suddenly.
"Huh?" Ash said as the two of them heard it, the group looked around as they heard the voice.
"Hmmph. Take this!" Froakie said as he felt like he saw where the missing person was at and used a piece of the frubble to reveal his location!
"So you've found me, 'eh?" The man's voice said as his tarp fell down, revealing to be a ninja.
"Wha!?" The group gasped, it was a ninja as a person!
"Wow, A ninja!" Bonnie said, she couldn't believe a ninja was there of all places!
"Awesome!" Dedenne said as he was in awe, seeing one was amazing!
"Why is a ninja out here of all places?" Alex asked as Froakie got to the ground.
"Found you." Froakie said, knowing he was caught for watching.
"Now, Ninja Leaf Shroud!" The ninja said as he put a fist into the dirt as leaves surrounded him like a tornado and soon enough, he was gone!
"He's gone!" Ash cried out. Alex was surprised as he was there and gone.
"Well. Guess that was a quick hello." Alex said, I guess the ninja just wanted to leave.

EPISODE 18: A Rush of Ninja Wisdom! (Ash)
EPISODE 18: Froakie & Frogadier! Ninja Arts to the top! (Alex)
En Route to Cyllage City, where Ash intends to challenge the second Kalos region gym with his friend alex. Our heroes have encountered a mysterious ninja.
"Where could he have gone?" Ash said as they looked over to find where the ninja went as he was playing games.
"Huh?! Over there!" Froakie said as he tried to point to another location on a tree.
"Use your frubbles!" The ninja's voice said as Froakie had some sort of reaction to it.
"Hmph!" Froakie said as he managed to dodge some frubbles from a different Pokemon that attempted to use them at Froakie.
"Good, Froakie! Let's go!" Ash said as he and froakie continued to check.
"Wait, isn't that dangerous to check?" Alex asked but Ash didn't know if he would take Alex's advice and continued to search.
"Huh? Where is he?" Ash said as Froakie noticed the pile of leaves on the ground.
"Huh? Take this!" Froakie said as he threw the frubbles at the pile of leaves.
"Hrmph." The Pokemon on the tree said as it was so fast it was standing on a tree branch, looking at the two below them.
"Who's that Pokemon?" Ash said as he pulled out his Pokedex.
"Frogadier. The Bubble Frog Pokemon and the evolved form of Froakie. Frogadier's speed is unmatched. It can climb a tower over two thousand feet tall in one minute." The Pokedex said as it scanned the new Pokemon that was sitting on the tree branch.
"The evolved form of Froakie?" Ash said as he looked at Froakie in shock, this was his evolved form?
"Well, What do you know." Froakie said, looking at Ash.
"Hmph, hmph. Hmph." Frogadier said as he hopped from tree branch to tree branch to reunite with the ninja.
"Huh?" Ash said as he was stunned to believe it.
"It's so cool!" Bonnie said as she was excited to see what was going on.
"What is this ninja and frogadier doing out here?" Alex said, what was going on and why was Sanpei and his Frogadier out in the middle of their journey.
"Very cool!" Dedenne excitingly exclaimed, seeing this was amazing.
"I am Sanpei, a young and skillful ninja." Sanpei said as he introduced himself with his Pokemon. Frogadier and Sanpei were a duo.
"So you're a ninja?" Clemont said, being intrigued on hearing Sanpei was a ninja.
"Incredible!" Serena said, she was impressed now.
"Yeah." Pikachu said, he smiled a bit.
"Why are you out here though?" Alex asked, why was he here?
"Training with the ninjas back at my village." Sanpei explained, that was what he's doing.
"Back at your village, huh? Cool. Wait. Why am I getting Deja Vu?" Alex said, as he was impressed. Suddenly it struck him that something happened like his journey.
"My name's Ash, You've got a great partner there in Frogadier! How about a battle with my Froakie?" Ash said as he introduced himself to Sanpei and offered a battle against the Ninja trainer.
"I've been looking for a suitable opponent for my frogadier to battle against. But I have my doubts that your froakie is powerful enough." Sanpei
"Hmph." Frogadier sniffed, seeing that Froakie would be a joke.
"What!?" Ash angrily said, being annoyed on what Sanpei remarked.
"Excuse me?" Froakie angrily shouted, he wasn't that weak.
"Uh. Yeah, Froakie hasn't had much battling since your first gym badge Ash. Isn't Pikachu a more suitable option?" Alex said, knowing that Froakie had not gotten enough battles since the gym challenge he tried.
"Hush! Won't know until we try, will we?!" Ash shushed at alex, then he was confident about the challenge.
"Battle me coward!" Froakie snapped as he wanted to challenge Sanpei.
"All right then. I accept your challenge." Sanpei said, accepting the challenge. Getting the attention of ash.
"Hmph." Frogadier said, being intrigued now.
"Okay Froakie, let's go!" Ash said, now this was a chance to strike for them.
"Darn right." Froakie said as the two felt like a battle will happen.
"The one-on-one battle between Ash and Sanpei, the young ninja is about to begin. The battle will be over when one pokemon is unable to continue. Is that understood?" Clemont said as he stood to be the referee, giving the trainers a one on one ruleset as he asked the two trainers.
"Hmm." Ash and Sanpei said, being ready to go.
"All right! battle begin!" Clemont said as the battle between the two trainers got underway.
ASH VS SANPEI: ONE ON ONE
"You may have the first move, Ash." Sanpei said, letting Ash have the first move to attack.
"I accept. Froakie use bubble!" Ash said, Ash made his move first.
"Hurmp, Bubble!" Froakie said as he took a breath and fired off so many bubbles.
"Dodge it." Sanpei said, Frogadier then showed off his speed.
"Hmph." Frogadier said as he jumped up in the air, catching Froakie off-guard by that.
"So fast!" Serena said as she, Bonnie, Pikachu and Alex were sitting on some rocks to watch the battle from afar.
"Whoa!" Pikachu said as he gasped in surprise.
"I guess the pokedex wasn't kidding." Alex said, knowing how well Frogadier can jump with his speed.
"Well, we can move fast too! Chase Frogadier and use pound!" Ash said, knowing he can show his speed also.
"Hurh. Pou-" Froakie said as he charged in with a pound.
"Frogadier, Dodge." Sanpei said, wanting to show off Frogadier's speed.
"Hmph, Too fast." Froagdier said, as he was fast.
"Now, try it again!" Ash said, wanting to land one single hit.
"Pound!" Froakie said as his hand was glown white for power.
"Hmph!" Frogadier said as he managed to dodge again and again.
"Get back here!" Froakie said, chasing in pursuit of Frogadier
"..." Frogadier hopped from branch to branch while Froakie was in pursuit using pound in attempts to hit Frogadier but kept missing
"Frogadier's quick... in that case aim and use Water Pulse, let's go!" Ash said, knowing he needed to use a different move.
"Right, Water... Pulse!" Froakie said as he he stopped using pound and fired off water pulse from the ground.
"Frogadier, Smokescreen!" Sanpei said, wanting to avoid a point blank water pulse.
"SSmookkeescreen..." Frogadier said as he spun around with black smoke spewing from his mouth, water pulse hit him but he wasn't affected.
"Huh?!" Serena, Alex and Bonnie said as they were surprised to see no frogadier was there.
"He vanished." Alex said, frogadier was gone!
"Where did Frogadier go?" Serena asked, where did he go now?
"He's good at hiding." Pikachu said, as he looked left and right.
"It's a ninja stealth skill." Sanpei said as Froakie landed on the ground from the move, where was Frogadier from his skills.
"What?" Froakie said as he was was shocked to find out that nothing worked.
"Froakie, Concentrate! Use your instinct! Water Pulse!" Ash said, knowing Frogadier could be somewhere. Using a way to find Frogadier and hit it.
"... There. Water PULSE!" Froakie said as he concentrated and seemingly used Water Pulse on a tree but it dropped a piece of wood with Frubbles around it.
"Huh?" Froakie said as he was confused, what was a decoy doing there?
"Heh." Frogadier smirked as he appeared from a pond which caught ash off guard for a moment.
"What?" Ash said as Sanpei now attacked.
"Now, use bubble!" Sanpei said as Frogadier took aim.
"Brrrubbbuubbllle!" Froagdier said as he fired off a bubble move.
"Counter with bubble!" Ash said, wanting to show his bubble power off.
"Bubble!" Froakie said as the two bubbles clashed but frogadier seemed to have the advantage and power over froakie.
"Gaaah... Nnmph." Froakie said as he was hit hard and sent skidding backwards.
"Froakie!" Ash said to Froakie, whom was okay.
"Hmph. No way." Froakie said as he was still standing.
"Water pulse, let's go!" Sanpei said, wanting to use Water Pulse to attack.
"Water Pulse!" Frogadier said as he fired off a powerful water pulse toward Froakie.
"Now- you use water pulse, too!" Ash said as Froakie got a water pulse to go.
"Water Pulse!" Froakie said as the water pulses clashed but frogadier's overpowered froakies and sent him back as he still stood, despite taking damage.
"Mhhhmpph. Hmm." Froakie said as he slowly got up, taking the pain with him.
"Yeah, Way to go!" Ash said as he was proud with froakie's power and determination to not give up.
"Awesome..." Bonnie said as she was amazed.
"So is frogadier stronger because it's the evolved form of Froakie?" Serena said, was it cause of power and strength?
"Maybe it's cause of how it gets more power in training." Alex said, knowing that Sanpei raised Frogadier very well.
"Being the evolved form has nothing to do with it. We're going to win this thing using our spirit! Now, Froakie, Water Pulse!" Ash said, knowing that evolution had nothing to do with power and using spirit to win.
"Water..." Froakie said as he got water pulse charged up.
"Use Quick attack, Go!" Sanpei said, wanting to show off a new move to catch froakie off guard.
"Hurrraah!" Frogadier said as he showed off his speed towards Froakie.
"Pulse... Huh?" Froakie said as he threw a water pulse, missing Frogadier as he was watching Frogaider hop and jump all over Froakie, unknowningly made him confused.
"Oh no!" Serena said, knowing this was bad for Froakie.
"I'm getting dizzy..." Bonnie said as she tried to catch on frogadiers speed but her eyes were caught in swirls as she was dizzy.
"Ugh my head is going cuckoo now..." Alex said as he felt like it was spinning in circles.
"Hmph, hmph, hmph, hmph." Frogadier muttered out with a smirk, knowing he can show off his speed.
"I've never seen a Quick Attack like this before!" Clemont said, seeing how amazing the quick attack was from frogadier.
"Get ready." Frogadier said as he was messing with Froakie's heads and mind.
"Dodge it, quick!" Ash said as a panic idea.
"QUICK ATTACK!" Frogadier said as Froakie couldn't get out of the way.
"GAAAAH, AGH!" Froakie cried out as he was smashed into a tree.
"You okay?" Ash asked, Sanpei knew that was it.
"This battle is over. No one has ever withstood my Frogadier's Quick attack and been able to continue battling." Sanpei said, knowing this battle was long over from that attack was a finishing blow as ash looked over.
"It's over." Frogadier said, knowing that was it.
"So it's a hard physical hitter." Alex said, knowing frogadier hits very hard as a physical hitter.
"No not over!" Froakie said, knowing it was not over at all.
"That's the spirit froakie! We're just getting warmed up!" Ash said as he knew that it was not over despite froakie taken a bad beating.
"All right, then use Quick Attack one more time!" Sanpei said as Frogadier dashed quick attack toward Froakie once again, Froakie was too weak to even move. Sanpei realized that froakie wasn't gonna be okay next attack and had to act.
"Now, Ninja Leaf shroud!" Sanpei said as he used his ninja leaf shroud to get froakie safe as frogadier dashed through the leaves.
"Froakie!" Ash called out, Sanpei had froakie in his hands.
"It was already over..." Sanpei said as he knew it was long over.
"Huh?" Ash said as he managed to see froakie in sanpeis arms.
"Froakie just wouldn't quit." Sanpei said as Sanpei gave Froakie to ash who was hurt.
"Froakie.." Ash said, seeing how Froakie was badly hurt.
"It's okay..." Froakie said very weakly from the pain he had.
"I hate to admit it, but we lost." Ash said as he knew the battle was over, it was a brutal loss they taken.
"..." The waterfalls gushed down as it was a long day for Froakie as he lost. Ash offered some water.
"Here, drink this." Ash said as he gave some water toward Froakie.
"Oh.. Froakie." Alex said as Froakie slightly drank the water.
"We lost because I didn't come up with a good strategy. I let you down. I'm sorry." Ash said, knowing that he failed badly on what he did.
"That's exactly correct." Sanpei said, as he knew ash was using bad strategies.
"What was that?" Serena said, what did Sanpei say now?
"What do you mean?" Alex said, Sanpei was upset with Ash for his training.
"And not only strategy, your froakie still needs a lot more training." Sanpei said, knowing that ash needed to think better before using attacks.
"..." Ash thought hard about what Sanpei said, he did feel ashamed in himself for losing the battle with him mindlessly attack for no reason.
"You completely misread the way our battle progressed and Froakie trusted it's own power far more than it should have. You were fortunate Froakie didn't take more damage than it did." Sanpei
"Shameful." Frogadier scoldingly said, knowing how Ash didn't use Froakie right.
"Nnhhh..." Ash grunted, knowing how embarassing it was.
"Don't stress yourself Ash. That only hurts you more." Alex said, knowing stress was a bad thing.
"Here." Sanpei said as he showed him some sort of berry that was black color.
"What's that?" Ash said, what was Sanpei holding to him?
"It's a remedy that's been formulated using Energy Root. it will replenish froakie's energy." Sanpei said as it was put in froakies mouth to feed, Froakie's eyes were widened suddenly about it.
"Mm... UHP. AAAACK!" Froakie said as he felt the surprising energy and freaked out and was okay.
"When the medicene is bitter, you can be quite sure that it's going to work. Hahah." Sanpei said, knowing how the medicene can help him.
"DON'T FEED ME THAT AGAIN!" Froakie shouted, he wasn't happy with the medicene he was given to help him.
"Wow, Froakie's looking better already!" Ash said, knowing how well he was.
"Well it's time for us to leave." Sanpei said as they were ready to go.
"Goodbye." Frogadier said as they both began to take their leave.
"Good luck Sanpei. Hope we-" Alex said as the two were going to leave when ash called out.
"Hey, Wait a minute!" Ash said as Sanpei had looked at Ash.
"Something else I can do for you?" Sanpei asked, Ash felt like he needed to help.
"Please... Show me how you did it." Ash said, he wanted to see what Sanpei did.
"Did what?" Sanpei asked, what was he talking about?
"Huh?" Alex, Serena, Bonnie & Clemont said, was Ash asking for help?
"In all the time I've been training. I've never seen a Quick Attack as amazing as the one Frogadier used in battle. So please teach my Froakie how to use it like that. I mean, you wanna learn how to do it, don't you?" Ash said, wanting to see how Sanpei could teach them a quick attack like that.
"Yeah." Froakie said, wanting to know Quick Attack.
"Won't you help us?" Ash asked in a plea.
"..." Froakie growled as he wanted to be like Frogadier, Sanpei then had to think about it.
"Alright." Sanpei said, making the deal done.
"You're not kidding?" Ash said as Sanpei shook his head.
"No way!" Sanpei said, he wanted to help any way he could.
"Wow. Simple as that. If only ninja-like Pokemon can teach it to those other Pokemon." Alex said, knowing it was done deal, just like that.
"Alright! Isn't that great, Froakie?" Ash said as he looked down at Froakie in the deal to make it work.
"Yes!" Froakie said excitingly as it looked like they could do it together.
"But! My training methods are very strict." Sanpei explained, his methods were different when it comes to training.
"That's just fine with us. Okay, Froakie?" Ash said, knowing it will be okay with the training.
"Fine with me!" Froakie said, knowing it was all fine.
"Watching this is such amazing stuff! Two trainers can be part of a really tough battle and be friends once the battle's over." Serena said, knowing how trainers work together for friends when it comes to each other.
"That's what a Pokemon's battle all about." Clemont said, knowing how pokemon battles truly go.
"There are times where they challenge each other again and again. They call it rivals but it seems like a good way to bond." Alex said, knowing how rivals and friends go in Pokemon.
"So you know, when I train a Pokemon, I train them hard. And I train hard along with them!" Sanpei said, knowin how he trains his Pokemon different from Ash's.
"Yeah, I'm right with you! I'll train hard right along with Froakie!" Ash said, knowing he will follow along with Sanpei.
"I want to be a ninja, too!" Bonnie said as she wanted to become a ninja like Sanpei.
"Then Bonnie, just leave it to me!" Serena said as she got her toolkit to design a ninja like Sanpei for Bonnie.
"Look at us!" Pikachu said as he, dedenne and Bonnie were all dressed like ninjas that serena made.
"Cool, huh?" Dedenne said as he was having some fun.
"haha. Im a ninja!" Bonnie cheerily said as she enjoyed the dress.
"Awesome, Bonnie! You really look the part!" Serena said, she really fit as one.
"She seems fit for one now." Alex said, Bonnie looked at Alex and Serena happily.
"Thanks!" Bonnie excitingly said, she was proud Serena made this for her.
"..." Bonnie, Dedenne and Pikachu were running around trying to be ninjas themselves to get a better grip for themselves to focus on their ninja skills while the others were trying to listen to Sanpei.
"The important thing about quick attack is, of course, to be able to move quickly. And to do that, one must develop springy and flexible muscles. So the first thing we need to do is work on strengthing your spring." Sanpei said as he was showing how they would work their muscles by jumping a lot.
"Hm, I'd say it's time for me to step up! You'd better prepare youselves for this! Clemontic Gear on!" Clemont said as he now had his glasses flash with brightness as he made a new invention, he got something that covered his legs.
"Huh?" Alex said as the group and sanpei noticed Clemont wearing something.
"I'd call this my muscle mass magnifying machine! I thought we'd encounter a situation precisely like this one!" Clemont said as he introduced his machine name as he was explaining about the situation and how his machine could be of use.
"Uh... okay, So you put springs on your shoes." Bonnie said, basically putting the situation into one thing.
"Pretty weak." Dedenne muttered out, Alex seemed slightly worried.
"Won't they launch you high in the air?" Alex asked, would clemont do that?
"Ah. But they're not normal springs! The basis of all exercise is increasing muscle strength. The springs I've equipped in these shoes multiply the power of jumping is using your body weight in the process. Because of the added load of your body weight, they strengthen your leg muscles rapidly." Clemont said, knowing that the springs could help out with the weight of the body.
"Doesn't it seem to hurt your body though?" Alex questioned, would it simply hurt?
"Nope. Not one bit of pain." Clemont denied, knowing it would not be the case.
"Wow, Science is so amazing!" Ash said as he was impressed, Serena slightly wasn't though all impressed.
"Allow me to show you how it works- WAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Clemont said as he took a slight step forward before he screamed as he disappeared high and away into the sky without being seen again.
"HOLY... MOTHER OF ARCEUS. WHERE'D HE GO?" Alex shouted as he stared into the sky in disbelief, where did Clemont disappear to?!
"Well, he disappeared really fast, no doubt!" Ash said as he was amazed once again.
"Ahaha..." Serena chuckled slightly, not a way to go out.
"..." Bonnie was still having fun with her ninja skills as she approached a tree and used a blanket to hide herself.
"Camouflage skill!" Bonnie whispered as Pikachu and Dedenne stopped and looked then walked past her.
"Training must proceed step by step. Froagdier, please demonstrate for them our basic training method!" Sanpei said as he explained the method earlier and spoke to Frogadier about it.
"Right, humph!" Frogadier said as he jumped on the rocks and then jumped in a pattern on the rocks around the trees.
"So quick..." Ash said as he was impressed with Frogadier's speed and jumping pattern.
"Hmm.." Froakie said as he was taking slight notes on how to do it for himself.
"All right Froakie, do you think you can keep up with Frogadier?" Sanpei said as he looked down at the little frog Pokemon to test his speed.
"Yeah!" Froakie said as he was confident he can do it for himself.
"There's no better time for you to give it a try!" Ash said, trying to cheer his spirit up.
"Here goes! Humph! Hmph!" Froakie said as he began to copy frogadier's movements
"Wow, they seem to get better but frogadier is still faster. How..?" Alex said, seemingly Frogadier seemed to be faster than Froakie at the jumping game.
"I am always one with my Pokemon, Always!" Sanpei said as he began to mimic frogadier's movements by hopping left and right, with Frogadier jumping around in the same pattern with froakie being behind.
"Yeah! Me too!" Ash said as he began to mimic Sanpei's movements.
"Yeah, me too!" Bonnie said as she began to follow what ash and sanpei are doing.
"..." Froakie seemed to be moving slow as Frogadier kept up it's speed, passing it multiple times since Froakie was being slower than usual in it's training.
"You're not jumping fast enough!" Sanpei said, knowing that Ash was still being slow.
"Keep it up, Froakie!" Ash said as they continued to speed up.
"You're still jumping too slowly!" Sanpei said, knowing Ash is being a bit slower.
"NNngh... how about this?" Ash said as he tried to speed up more and more.
"It make you guys look strange as ninjas." Alex said, knowing this was a weird way for ninjas to train themselves and Pokemon.
"No way im falling behind!" Froakie said as he kept up with his speed to Frogadier's speed.
"Faster!" Sanpei said as Froakie was not falling behind and had enough.
"GRRRRRAAAAAAH!" Froakie shouted as he was letting himself not fall very behind to frogadier.
"Aaaoooh... I can't do it any more!" Bonnie cried out as she was getting very dizzy from the speed of jumping.
"Take it easy bonnie!" Pikachu said as he put some sort of leaf blanket to calm down Bonnie.
"You tired?" Dedenne said, checking out Bonnie's health.
"Humph, humph, humph!" Froakie said as he managed to stay his speed with frogadier's kind of speed on the jumping.
"Excellent!" Clemont said, he was amazed with Froakie!
"It looks like Froakie's beginning to move just as frogadier is!" Serena said as Froakie was doing very well in his terms of speed.
"Keep up the pace, you're getting there!" Sanpei said, knowing Ash can get there with his Froakie on his speed.
"Hmph, Hpmh! Hmph! I can be the one!" Froakie said, knowing he will catch up towards Frogadier!
"That was well done! Time for the next step!" Sanpei said as he stopped, knowing that there was a new step to do.
"Ninja stealth skill..." Bonnie said as she was under the water with a straw that has a hole from the outside to breathe air.
"Next, we'll teach Froakie to run over water." Sanpei said as they were at a watermill. With a Pond of river near the watermill palace.
"Huh?! On water?" Serena said, she was surprised to hear about running on water.
"But running on water is scientifically impossible." Clemont said, knowing that wasn't possible to do. It was hard to accomplish.
"Nah, we can do it." Ash said, knowing it can be done.
"All right, Frogadier will show you how it's done." Sanpei said as Frogadier nodded his head.
"Right! Hut hut hut hut hut hut hut! Hrrragh!" Frogadier said as he ran across the water and onto the island as he showed off his skill of running on water to show off his dominance on running.
"WHAT!? AMAZING!" Alex shouted as he was impressed with Frogadier's speedy skills. Alex then adjusted his glasses to keep himself surprised.
"I can't believe Frogadier really ran on water!" Clemont said, he was surprised by adjusting his glasses.
"Alright Froakie, Now it's your turn to show them!" Ash said as he looked down on Froakie to know he can do it.
"Right!" Froakie said as he started to make his skip across water.
"Froakie, You can do it!" Ash cheered on from the sidelines.
"Hup, hup, hup hup, huppppmmm..." Froakie said as he skipped across the water before falling in the water with Ash being surprised how Froakie didn't get enough speed.
"Hahah! What was that?" Frogadier laughed from the island watching Froakie in the water.
"Grrr!" Froakie said as he was unpleased by watching frogadier laugh at him.
"Okay! Now it's my turn! Hmphh..." Ash said as he attempted to do ninja style but fell in the water.
"Oh no, Ash!" Serena said as she noticed him sink.
"Are you okay?" Bonnie asked as they wondered if he was alright underwater.
"Get some air!" Pikachu said as bubbles came out of the water, and Ash submerged from the water.
"Mph, No good! Can't do it!" Ash said, knowing it didn't work on his part.
"Naturally it's impossible for me as well!" Sanpei said, knowing it wasn't gonna work for him.
"WHUH? Why didn't you tell me that..." Ash said as he wasn't believing it what he heard, then his mouth was muffled underwater.
"Here, swim back to the surface." Alex said as Ash slowly went back onto the surface to dry up.
"The trick to being able to run over water is to make sure you move your feet quickly." Sanpei
"Move your feet quickly... Can you do that, Froakie?" Ash said to froakie. Froakie need to move his legs as he had an idea.
"Like this?" Froakie said as he had his back two legs move in a kick jump motion.
"Yeah, like that! Go!" Ash said, telling froakie about how to do it. Then he gave the go signal.
"Hut, hut, hut hutmtppp." Froakie said as he skipped on the water before sinking down on the water again.
"Froakie, no!" Ash said as he saw Froakie fall in the water again.
"That didn't work..." Alex said, knowing it didn't work.
"Bluumph. Hmph." Froakie said as the bubbles underwater and got back onto the surface and looked fine.
"That wasn't gonna work." Alex said as Froakie looked at Alex dead on with an annoyed face.
"Quiet you." Froakie said as Alex then backed off.
"Okay, try it again!" Ash said to froakie as froakie turned around to face the water.
"Hut, hut, hmmpph..." Froakie said as he tried to skip across the water again and failed. Then he hopped back on the surface.
"You can do it froakie!" Ash said once again.
"Hut, hut, hmmpph..." Froakie said as he tried to skip across the water again and failed. Then he hopped back on the surface.
"Show them how it's done, Froakie." Ash said once more to Froakie.
"Okay-" Froakie said but Frogadier knew that it wasn't working.
"Watch me." Frogadier said as he stopped Froakie from the same mistake.
"Hut hut hut hut hut hut hut! Hrrragh!" Frogadier said as he managed to run across the water as Froakie watched Frogadier's speed skip across the water as Frogadier got onto the island and showed off once again.
"Grrr!" Froakie growled angry as he was not enjoying that Frogadier was rubbing it in his face.
"Feeling Frustrated?" Ash said to Froakie who was more frustrated and mad.
"YEAH." Froakie angrily shouted in one word.
"Then use all that Frustration and get out there! Go!" Ash said as he wanted to encourage Froakie to get going out there.
"HUT, HUT, HUT, HUT Hut hut hut hut hut hut hut! Hrrragh!" Froakie said as he manage to angrily skip across the water and soon got onto the island and stopped as he managed to do it.
"You did it!" Ash said, knowing froakie did it and got across the water.
"Wow, So much for frustration. He's angry and he's using that as a spirit for himself." Alex said, knowing it actually worked. Froakie got there!
"Awesome, Froakie!" Pikachu cheered for his partner as Froakie looked down and was amazed.
"I did it! Yeah!" Froakie said as he became happy, Frogadier just sneered.
"So much to learn..." Frogadier muttered out, knowing Froakie was just being proud of some simple things.
"Wh- Grrr." Froakie said as he turned his head to Frogadier and angrily glared at him, Team Rocket was watching from far away to the two Pokemon.
"That frogadier is something else." Jessie said, being interested on that Frogadier. Spying on with their binoculars.
"Team Rocket ninja's. Great! No wait- Team Rocket ninja Pokemon." James said, knowing they can use those Pokemon for their own.
"We'll put together a ninja Pokemon posse and Froakie and Frogadier would be the stars!" Meowth said. Knowing Team rocket can be actual stars.
"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet said as they had a plan.
"'Kay Sanpei, what kind of training do we do next?" Ash said, what kind of training would they do next?
"Now let me think..." Sanpei said as Alex began to ask.
"Maybe with the Frogadier having a fake log or something? Cause it seems tiring with the ninja training.." Alex said about some ninja skill training before Sanpei and Ash's stomachs both grumbled in hunger.
"Oh no... I'm embarassed as I could be." Sanpei said as he was very embarassed.
"Seriously?" Alex said being annoyed slightly.
"Don't embarass a ninja if he's hungry." Sanpei said, knowing how embarassing it was.
"There's nothing a little lunch can fix and i'll take care of the cooking." Clemont said, knowing he could make them lunch.
"Can I help you also?" Alex said, wanting to help Clemont a bit for cooking.
"Sure, I love to see more of your cooking skills." Clemont said as he wanted to accept the help, Alex chuckled with a smile.
"And I'll make the dessert." Serena said, wanting to make dessert for the group.
"It's ninja lunchtime!" Bonnie said. Knowing what time it was.
"All right." Clemont said as Clemont and Alex made all sorts of meals, for the group to enjoy for themselves.
"We are all set." Alex said. Knowing that they were very ready for the meals.
"Let's eat!" All of them said as they began to have some food to eat.
"Hey thanks!" Ash said as he was happy.
"..." Everyone was enjoying the lunches that Clemont and Alex made together as they were slowly enjoying themselves as Sanpei was having food for a good time.
"Wow, this is great... Delish.. what is it?" Sanpei said as he was gobbling down some sort of fried noodles as he didn't know what it was, he was morely just enjoying it.
"You're eating fried noodles." Clemont said, explaining what Sanpei was eating.
"It's now my favorite food... I've heard of it from my friends in Ninja Village. It's so good!" Sanpei said as he was loving the food the group made.
"Ninja village, huh? Cool place for a name to live in." Alex said, he was interested on the name.
"Please try the cookies I baked, too." Serena said as she offered a plate of cookies to sanpei.
"Nom.. This is the best cookie ever!" Sanpei said as he took a bite of a cookie and was so overjoyed just after eating one.
"..." Everyone was relaxing, chilling out as they were enjoying the shade from their lunch to calm themselves down.
"There's nothing like a nap after a good meal." Sanpei said, knowing that they were relaxed and chilling out.
"For sure." Ash said, knowing it was true.
"Almost wanting to replenish your energy before getting on the move again, something I would want for a while." Alex said, knowing that his energy would be renewed soon.
"So Sanpei, that ninja village you mentioned... Is that your hometown?" Ash asked, what was Ninja village about. Was it a home?
"That's right, it's also the home of my older brother, Ippei, who is by far the strongest man in Ninja Village. He's there with his Greninja." Sanpei said as he explained about ninja village's home where we lived with his older brother as he was the younger version of Ippei and the place and strength.
"Greninja, huh?" Alex said, wondering what a Greninja was.
"Greninja?" Ash said, what was that pokemon meaning?
"The final evolution of Froakie." Clemont explained, it was a final stage evolution.
"And there's my other brother, Nihei. Who lives in Ninja Village as well, with his venusaur." Sanpei explained as he had two brothers in ninja village, his brothers owned a Greninja and a Venusaur in his home village.
"So there's Ippei, there's Nihei and there's Sanpei." Bonnie said as she and Dedenne had a slight chuckle from it.
"My ultimate goal is to one day defeat both of my brothers and assume the title of strongest ninja in Ninja Village once and for all." Sanpei said, wanting to have his own goal in mind.
"So I guess you left Ninja Village so you could train, right?" Ash said, knowing what Sanpei wanted to do.
"Exactly." Sanpei said as he was ready for the goal ahead.
"Well, whats holding you back if you can battle many people out there." Alex said, knowing that there is opportunities to battle other people out there to get better.
"It's not easy. If I were to assume the title, I need to beat the biggest and best out there." Sanpei said, knowing he needs to be the best.
"Battling a lot of trainers is a good way to start." Ash said, knowing its a good way there.
"What about you, Ash?" Sanpei asked, what about Ash's goal for him?
"I'm working hard to one day becoming a Pokemon master." Ash said, explaining his goal.
"Oh. I like your goal." Sanpei said, being impressed on Ash's goal.
"It's incredible how even though your goals are different, you're both working as hard as you can to realize your dreams." Serena said, knowing that they had goals that they are working on for themselves to learn.
"Sounds like you made good rivals." Clemont said, knowing they can fit as rivals.
"Yeah.." Sanpei and Ash said together, maybe a friendly rivalry.
"Sanpei... Ash... I may have had tougher rivals in Hoenn, but I won't fall behind. I might as well step up in my own training." Alex thought to himself, he knew he had to catch up. But he wasn't jealous.
A Few Hours Later
"..." Bonnie was continuing her fun pretend skills of a ninja while Ash and Sanpei were continuing their training.
"Next we'll train by jumping from tree branch to tree branch, in order to get the kind of explosive power one needs to execute an exceptional quick attack. All right then Ash and Froakie, you follow Frogadier and me." Sanpei said as he and Ash with Pokemon were on branches of trees up ahead.
"Froakie, this is where we really need to step on the gas!" Ash said, as he knew what Sanpei meant.
"Right behind you." Froakie said as he followed Ash.
"Then let's go!" Sanpei said as he began to hop from tree branch to tree branch without stopping.
"Come on!" Frogadier said as he followed Sanpei.
"Coming!" Froakie said as he followed the evolved form of his.
"Yeah! Whoaaah! Hmph!" Ash said as he jumped from one branch and managed to keep his balance.
"Always look two or three branches ahead! You'll go faster!" Sanpei said as he knew that what he was doing would work and gave more tips.
"Hurmph!" Frogadier said as he made himself steady.
"Once you get the hang of it, you won't believe your speed!" Sanpei said, steadying himself with the branches and getting the use of it.
"Huff, Huff, Huff, Huff, huff!" Froakie said as he was being a fast paced tree branch ninja, impressing Ash.
"Wow, Froakie! You've gotten a lot faster!" Ash said as he was impressed on Froakie's speed.
"..." Sanpei and Frogadier were really getting in the rhythm with the trees as Ash and Froakie were getting the hang of it.
"Yeah, keep it up, Froakie!" Ash said as they followed Sanpei and Frogadier, impressing them.
"Yeah!" Froakie said, being amazed on how they were doing.
"..." Sanpei and Frogadier stopped as Ash and Froakie accidently went ahead and began to fall off a cliff as Sanpei got a rope and wrapped around them which ash caught froakie and held on to the rope.
"Are you two, all right?" Sanpei asked from above, Ash put his head up.
"Yeah." Ash called as Sanpei gave a reminder to Ash.
"Remember, you need to act with complete awareness of your surroundings at all times!" Sanpei said as he was aware for all directions in every place at every time with a strong awareness.
"I'll do that. Thanks a lot!" Ash said as he promised to listen to Sanpei.
"Yeah." Froakie said, knowing they need to work on that.
"Now, Ninja Leaf Shroud!" Bonnie said as she was playing around then she stopped and made a pose where Pikachu and Dedenne decided to do a leaf shroud.
"Leaf Shroud!" Pikachu said as he was burying Bonnie with leaves and hid her inside leaves.
"And next up, we finally work on our Quick Attack!" Sanpei said, it was about time to work the quick attack move at last.
"Hear that? We're ready to go!" Ash said to Froakie as he was getting him pumped up for it.
"About time." Froakie said as he was ready for it to be done.
"Alright Frogadier, show them how it's done." Sanpei said to his frog pokemon which Frogadier nodded.
"Right." Frogadier said as he turned his body towards a rock he was facing.
"Now use Quick attack!" Sanpei said, showing off the quick attack.
"Quick Attaccck!" Frogadier said as he zoomed so fast with his movements he crashed into a rock but the rock broke through with Frogadier being unbothered.
"I get it, quick attack generates so much power because it's done with so much speed!" Clemont said as he adjusted his glasses to see how impressive it was for frogadier to do that quick attack amazingly.
"Yeah! Frogadier's quick attack is as awesome as i've seen." Ash said, knowing how good Frogadier was and tried to mimic his movements.
"We might need to teach our Pokemon quick attack to keep up the pace." Alex said, knowing they should keep up their pace.
"Wow!" Bonnie said in awe, she was in shock about seeing how cool a quick attack like that worked.
"Cool!" Pikachu said in amazement, seeing a quick attack like that.
"Why don't you give it a try?" Sanpei asked to Ash, which he nodded in readiness for.
"Right, Okay Froakie, Quick attack, let's go!" Ash said as he was ready to go for quick attack.
"Right! Ngggh... Grraah!" Froakie said as he moved around to gain speed to hit the rock. He hit the rock and bounced off of it.
"Froakie's form is correct, but it still moves too slowly." Sanpei said, knowing his form is working but the speed isn't there.
"Okay, one more time!" Ash said, wanting more.
"Nnggh..." Froakie said as he repeated what he did last time. But bounced off the rock again.
"You've got to move your feet with more speed!" Ash said, knowing he should get more speed.
"Ggrrrnnhh.." Froakie said as he did the same thing again with a little bit more speed and bounced off the rock again.
"Keep thinking about what's next!" Ash said, knowing it would work.
"Quick... Grrrghh.." Froakie said as he tried to gain more speed but when he hit the rock, he bounced off it like nothing.
"We're almost there!" Ash said, knowing they were very close.
"But I still wouldn't call what Froakie's doing a quick attack." Sanpei said, knowing he wasn't showing off he wasn't very fast.
"Watch me." Frogadier said as he wanted Froakie to show how to do Quick attack.
"Huh? Dodge!" Froakie said as he felt an instinct kick in with a meowth coin coming from nowhere
"Hold on, what's that?" Sanpei said as Team Rocket was doing their motto in a machine. The Machine looked like a Meowth kind of mech as a ninja kind of way with team rock inside the machine.
"Team Rocket?" Ash said, knowing they were ruining the situation.
"Who are they?" Sanpei asked, Ash had to tell the truth.
"They're bad guys who steal other people's Pokemon." Ash explained, team rocket was the bad guys. Sanpei was startled to hear that.
"It's a gift." Jessie said, knowing it's a gift for them.
"Now were here to add Froakie and Frogadier to our evil Pokemon ranks!" James said, wanting to take Froakie and Frogadier for themselves.
"We'll catch them right now and the boss says thanks!" Meowth said as he got the levers and machines to move the mech as they wanted it.
"Hmph." Froakie humped, knowing this would not happen.
"Oh yeah!" Meowth said as they shined a light on the Meowth Mech machine coin.
"Hmph!" Frogadier said as he covered himself with the light, so did everyone else.
"Frogadier, Frubbles!" Sanpei said as he was shielding his eyes from the light.
"Take this!" Frogadier said as he used his frubbles to cover the light that was bright to stop the blindness.
"My hair's frosted!" Meowth exclaimed, look what Frogadier did to him, making meowth mad.
"Alright Ash, Froakie and Frogadier need to put their strength together!" Sanpei said, knowing they need to work together.
"So that's what we'll do." Ash said, knowing it'll work together.
"Well, I prefer apart!" James said, knowing its best for their point to be apart.
"Separate them." Jessie said as they couldn't let them work together.
"Don't sweat it, You gotta keep 'em separated!" Meowth said as he was ready to counter-attack in their mech.
"Quick Attack, let's go!" Ash and Sanpei commanded together, knowing it was best option to them.
"Grrrraaahhh Quick Attack!" Froakie and Frogadier said as they worked together with their quick attack as they tried separate ways to attack the mech, froakie got bounced back.
"Hrrrgh!" Froakie said as he skidded back.
"Froakie, careful!" Ash said, knowing Froakie needed to be safe.
"Froakie? Hmph, Quick Attack!" Frogadier said, he looked his eyes back and charged ahead and hit the mech head on.
"Feet don't fail me now!" Meowth said as he managed to keep the balancing.
"Okay, Net!" Meowth said as he pushed a button the side lever and got caught in the netting.
"Hey, Gah!" Frogadier said as he was caught in the net.
"Frogadier!" Froakie called out from the ground.
"Frogadier!" Ash and Sanpei said, knowing Frogadier was taken.
"Pikachu, use iron tail!" Ash said as Pikachu took off his clothing and charged at the mecha machine.
"More net!" Meowth said as he was caught in the netting.
"Pikachu, too!?" Ash said, now this was not good for Pikachu.
"Oh, you're a crack shot." James said, wanting more.
"Catching three Pokemon hits the spot." Jessie said, knowing that three is better for them.
"No way, Froakie, Quick attack once more!" Ash said, knowing quick attack had to work this time!
"Right! Hrrrraaaghh.." Froakie said as he tried to speed up with his power to try to land quick attack.
"The only way you could dodge these is not be here!" Meowth said as he clicked the side button to the shuriken stars to be released.
"Hrrraaghhh..." Froakie said as he dodged the shuriken stars and had flashbacks to his training with Frogadier and began to learn it together as his training knew this would not be all for nothing as he made a cry in a charge.
"LET'S GOO! Double Team!" Froakie said as many clones of him suddenly appeared from nowhere!
"Huh? Is that quick attack?" Alex said, was this quick attack or something?
"What's going on?" Ash said, he was confused with this attack.
"Froakie's using Double Team!" Sanpei said, explaining about double team.
"Double Team!" Froakie said as he generated many clones of himself as Meowth was confused.
"I don't wanna play pick the real Pokemon!" Meowth said as he aimed into the ground but got duped by a clone.
"Now, Water Pulse!" Ash said as the froakies all charged up a water pulse.
"Hump! Water Pulse!" All the froakies said as they combined all the water pulses and attacked the net.
"Wow, Froakie did it!" Sanpei said, being impressed that Froakie saved Frogadier and Pikachu!
"Okay, Pikachu Thunderbolt!" Ash said as he wanted to wrap it up.
"Thunderbollltt!" Pikachu said as he used thunderbolt and shocked the machine with team rocket inside them who were shockingly in pain.
"Let's wrap this up!" Ash said to Sanpei who nodded.
"Okay!" Sanpei said as the two trainers knew what to do.
"Use Water Pulse, now!" Ash and Sanpei said as Froakie and Frogadier leaped together in the air with their attacks.
"WATER... PULSE!" Froakie and Frogadier said as they used a combined water pulse on the machine which caused it to explode with team rocket inside.
"We're Blasting off again!" Team Rocket cried out as they were gone once again!
"Yeah!" Everyone said happily as it was amazing that they did it.
"Pikachu and Froakie, You're safe!" Ash said as he was impressed with his Pokemon and their work but to make sure they were safe and sound.
"Amazing! You were great, Frogadier!" Sanpei said, being impressed.
"Hmph." Frogadier said as he smiled.
Later the evening.
"Frogadier? I think we owe them a debt of graditude for all they did to us." Sanpei said to his frogadier as they really helped out with what they done.
"Yeah. Thank you." Frogadier said as he thanked the group for what they did.
"Oh. No, we don't need some help from you." Alex said, knowing they didn't need more help. It was all they can have from Sanpei.
"We're the ones who should thank you. You're the reason Froakie learned Double Team. Thanks so much for all of the great training." Ash said, knowing that double team was the reason that the training worked out for each other and hopefully they learned.
"Thank you!" Froakie said, knowing that he should thank Sanpei more than before..
"Ash that was an amazing as a Double Team that I've ever seen either of my brother's Pokemon use!" Sanpei said, knowing that was an amazing double team he's seen. Knowing only his brothers know that.
"Thanks! Although it really started out as a Quick attack, but I guess thats okay." Ash said as he wanted quick attack but double team was better than nothing.
"I guess Froakie can be more stronger than before." Alex said, knowing Froakie was getting better every day.
"Froakie's double team should be very useful from here on out." Clemont said, knowing that it can be a very good move in the future.
"It gives you another move to use in battles!" Serena said, knowing this would maybe eventually help with the next gym battles.
"And it's totally cool." Bonnie said, as it was cool move anyways.
"Maybe it has a part in the next gym. Who knows?" Alex asked to Ash which he turned his head.
"Yeah." Dedenne nodded.
"'Kay, We're off. Let's battle again next time we meet, okay?" Ash said, wanting a promise to Sanpei the next time they would meet.
"Please Sanpei?" Pikachu asked in curiousity.
"You got yourself a deal!" Sanpei said as they shook hands to accept a deal like that.
"I'm hopeful to see Ninja Village soon." Alex said, hopeful to see Sanpei's wonderful home one day if they meet.
"Maybe we might if we meet each other again. And good luck on your goals." Sanpei said, hoping they meet and wishing them luck on their goals.
"Take care." Ash said as they shook hands.
"Good luck Sanpei." Alex said, knowing Sanpei will have to work on his goals.
"See you." Clemont said to Sanpei, hoping they would meet up once again.
"Bye!" Serena said, saying a goodbye.
"Be good!" Bonnie said to Sanpei and Frogadier in hopes of safety.
"And stay safe!" Dedenne said, wanting them to be safe.
"Farewell, everyone!" Sanpei said as he waved goodbye, Froakie looked up at his evolved stage form.
"I hope we meet again." Froakie said to his evolved form.
"Indeed, good luck." Frogadier said as he waved goodbye to Froakie in hopes of his attack working and being useful.
"Haha. Yeah!" Froakie said, he followed the group in joy. With his new move of double team.
Thanks to the guidance of Sanpei & Frogadier, Froakie has honed its quick attack skills and learned how to use Double Team as well! Now, after promises to meet again, our heroes are back on the road, as the journey continues!
