"We'll be able too see it from the top of the hill!" Serena said as she was making a dash to the top of the mountain.
"Alright!" Ash said as they all were hurrying up.
"Awesome!" Pikachu said as he was astounded by the top on what it could be.
"..." The group reached the top of the small hill where they saw the view of Ambrette Town's quarters where they saw wonderful small towns and the ocean before them!
"Smell the ocean..." Serena said as she was taking the breath of air for the ocean.
"It feels so nice!" Bonnie said as she could feel it from up there.
"It's always great to get to the shore." Clemont said as he was happy.
"The smell of the ocean and the relaxation of the beaches. Seems like a great way to take a break from journeying around." Alex said as he would love the beaches and relaxation to always relax himself.
"This says how beautiful Ambrette Town is." Serena said as she was pleased they made it to Ambrette Town at last.
"That's the ocean, Dedenne!" Bonnie said as she looked down to Dedenne.
"Alright!" Dedenne said as he peeked out in excitement.
At The Ambrette Town's Ocean.
"Alright, Froakie. I choose you! Check out the ocean!" Ash said as he summoned out froakie for the water.
"Okay!" Froakie said as Alex got his team out for excitment.
"Come on out, guys! Let's relax and enjoy!" Alex said as he summoned out Gastly, his Dunsparce and Pidgey were out to enjoy the beaches. Bonnie, Froakie, Pikachu, Dedenne and all of Alex's Pokemon were out enjoying the beach and having the fun time of their lives together.
"Froakie's a water type. No wonder it's so happy." Clemont said as he Froakie loved the place.
"Yeah. This would be a great spot to train." Ash said as he this would want to be good training.
"Aw, I wanted to relax and enjoy the ocean." Alex said as he was a bit upset, training was a bit boring if he wanted to relax.
"But there's still somewhere I wanna go!" Serena said as she wanted to a place.
"Where's that, Serena?" Clemont asked as Serena was so excited to go somewhere.
"Ta-da! Ambrette Aquarium!" Serena exclaimed as she pulled out her GPS and showed them a beautiful place in Ambrette town as she told them the location they would be going to.
"Aquarium?!" Bonnie exclaimed as she was surprised on what Serena said.
"Great! It's got lots of water-type Pokemon from all the different regions." Clemont said as he knew about the aquarium very well as the water-type Pokemon lived there, including Kalos Pokemon.
"That's it, I've wanted to go since forever." Serena said as she knew clemont hit the mark pretty well.
"Sounds like fun! I'd like to go, too!" Ash said as he was really wanting to join Serena on going to Ambrette Aquarium.
"Yeah, I want to go!" Pikachu said as he chimed in.
"You know, I've always wanted to see all the water-types on my journey. Maybe some ones i've not seen before!" Alex said as he was excited to visit an aquarium for seeing some cool Pokemon to meet.
"I wanna go! I wanna go! I wanna go!" Bonnie excitingly exclaimed, wanting to hurry and go.
"Then. Let's go!" Serena said as she was excited to go the Ambrette Aquarium with eceryone else.

EPISODE 23: Going For The Gold! (Ash)
EPISODE 23: The Golden Magikarp! (Alex)
Continuing their journey to Cyllage City, our heroes have decided to visit Ambrette Aquarium where they can marvel at the many water-type Pokemon on display there.
Ambrette Aquarium
"Welcome to Ambrette Aquarium, I'm sure you'll enjoy all our aquatic displays." The Woman said as she introduced the group to the Ambrette Aquarium at the front desk to the group.
"Can't wait to see them." Serena exclaimed, wanting to see the Pokemon that were there.
"Our aquarium is the perfect place to see many different water-type Pokemon." The Woman said as she told them about the aquarium very well, getting Bonnie's attention for an idea.
"Ah... You're a keeper! Wow! Hey, I need you to take care of my brother, please." Bonnie said as she proposed to the woman at the front-desk, confusing her. Clemont felt embarassed and used his Aipom Arm to grab bonnie off her feet.
"Bonnie, I told you to stop this a million times." Clemont said as he was red in the face with much embarassment.
"This is so embarassing..." Clemont said weakly as he took Bonnie with him away from the front-desk woman, with the group slowly walking inside to follow.
"I hope you'll think about it, please." Bonnie asked as the woman didn't know what to say.
"Have a Nice day." The Woman said with a slight wave as she sweatdropped a bit.
Inside Ambrette Aquarium
"..." Soon the group had entered the Ambrette Aquarium and were astounded to see lots of water type Pokemon inside, there were Basculin, Staryu's and even a lot of different Pokemon too see! The group gasped in awe and amazement.
"Wow, So many." Ash said as he was in awe for the many Pokemon that were water-types.
"So many Water Pokemon!" Pikachu said as he was looking around.
"They're beautiful..." Serena said as she was loving the aquarium, as Ash and Serena went to a part of the aquarium when a Gorebyss went in front of them.
"Oh? Hello!" A Gorebyss said as Ash and Serena were surprised to see one in front of them.
"Wow, Gorebyss! Hi!" Alex said as he noticed the Gorebyss in front of them. He was amazed to see one again.
"A Gorebyss, Wow!" Ash said as he was in awe of seeing one.
"It's a Pink Pokemon and it's totally cute. Incredible." Serena said as she loved it due to it's color and it's beauty of it.
"Aaah... Ahh.. AH! That scared me!" Bonnie said as she had her face plastered on the glass wall when a Relicanth got in her face and startled her, scaring her.
"Haha, That's a Relicanth." Clemont explained to his sister who was surprised by the relicanth in front of her face.
"Did that scare you too, Dedenne?" Bonnie asked as she looked down to Dedenne in her bag.
"A little bit, yeah." Dedenne said as Alex was walking around in the aquarium where he noticed a familiar Pokemon.
"Wow, A mudkip! Hi little guy!" Alex said as he noticed the group of Pokemon which made it smile as it zoomed in the aquarium.
"Hi! Wheee!" Mudkip waved as it used it's tail to zoom around.
"Cool! A Stunfisk!" Ash said as he noticed a stunfisk was hiding in the dirt and appeared now.
"Hello, Stunfisk!" Pikachu said as he was happy to see one.
"Uh.. What?" Stunfisk said as he looked around.
"Woo-hoo!" Bonnie exclaimed as Clemont watched her make the face that were something like a Wooper, which made him amazed on what Bonnie was trying out, trying to cheer them up.
"You mean Wooper." Clemont said to Bonnie as he knew the Pokemon.
"Clamperl." Serena said as the group were watching a tank of Clamperls bonding and being together with them looking at the group with some smiles.
"Too cute!" Bonnie said as she liked the Pokemon.
"Lanturn!" Ash exclaimed as he and the group saw a pair of Lanturn in the same tank enjoying themselves.
"They're beautiful!" Serena exclaimed as she liked them all.
"Aren't they pretty Dedenne?" Bonnie asked to Clemont's Pokemon in her bag.
"Yeah!" Dedenne said as he liked the Pokemon.
"Wow, Hi Lanturn!" Alex said as he waved to the Pokemon, which caused them to swim with delight.
"It's all like were underwater." Ash said as they were in a tube with the pokemon and the water were on the outside of them. But they were being shielded inside.
"You never get to see water-type Pokemon from this angle. What a treat!" Clemont said as he was amazed on seeing the Pokemon from different angles.
"Yeah, right?" Serena said as she looked at Clemont.
"It's so cool since you're able to see them from which direction!" Alex said as Clemont was right.
"Hey, what's that?!" Serena said as a huge Pokemon towered over them in the water.
"It's a Mantine!" Ash said as he knew what the Pokemon was! Alex gasped in delight to also know the Pokemon.
"Awesome!" Serena said excitingly as she never seen one.
"It's gigantic!" Bonnie exclaimed as she was shocked to see them.
"So amazing to see one swim by!" Alex said as he was happy for one to go by them for the first time.
"Whoever designed this aquarium sure knows a lot about water-type Pokemon." Clemont said as he knew the builder had a really good taste in designing for water-type Pokemon.
"For sure!" Ash said with a nod.
"They are so pretty." Pikachu said as his eyes dazzled with pretty Pokemon.
"And now.. Here's a group of Piplup out for a little stroll." The Communicator said as many Piplup were out walking and enjoying themselves as one was walking to the group where they were at.
"Oh, Hello!" Piplup said as he walked to Bonnie happily.
"Cutie pie!" Bonnie said as it lightly held it's flippers with her hands.
"Whoops! Wrong way." Serena said as she pointed the Piplup into the other direction.
"Oh, Right!" Piplup said as he let go nicely and decided to walk to the other piplups.
"The Piplup are really friendly, aren't they?" Serena said as she looked at the others.
"Alex, Me and Pikachu know a Piplup who's really something else." Ash said as he knew that there was a certain trainer with a certain Piplup who was better than those ones.
"It is a good Pokemon although he can be full of himself at times, but he's very kind. It just takes me back." Alex said as he knew about his journey in Sinnoh and it was a wonderful time.
"I wonder how he's doing." Pikachu asked as he wondered how Piplup was really doing.
"Yay! Yeah! Woohoo!" The Piplup cried out as they jumped into a pond and reunited with each other.
"Hey, it's a Magikarp!" Ash said as he saw the Magikarp were in a tank with an open top full of water.
"Haven't seen those in a while!" Alex said as he was amazed to see many of them.
"Magikarp, The fish Pokemon. Because all Magikarp's seem to do is splash around, some consider them weak.. But they're actually a hardy Pokemon that can survive in the water no matter how dirty it is." The Pokedex said as it read Magikarp's data as it really was something else besides weak.
"Ah." Serena gasped in awe as the Magikarp jumped from the tank.
"Ooahh." Magikarp said as it stuck out and jump to splash.
"They do seem to splash around a lot." Ash said as he realized how jumpy they were.
"You know, many magikarp live in the bay here." A man said as the group paid attention to the man who had a chatot on his shoulder.
"Uh, who are you?" Clemont asked as they looked at the man.
"Just a friendly observer. Of course, there are many different types of Pokemon in the world. But Water-type Pokemon are surpringly the second most common type." The man
"I never knew that." Serena said as she was amazed to hear that.
"Astounding to hear." Alex said as he astounded on what he had heard from the man.
"That's interesting!" Pikachu said as he was interested on the stories the man said.
"See, there are so many different types of Water-Type Pokemon because they have adapted to the many different enviornments that are found in the ocean." The man said as he knew the Kalos Region had different types of water pokemon but not only there.
"Man, that's cool stuff." Ash said as he was more curious.
"I wonder what places they can be in. Almost any region can hold them." Alex said as he knew that almost a lot of regions can hold the Pokemon of water types.
"They can see outside." The man said also which got the group to be puzzled.
"Uh, See what?" Ash asked as he raised an eyebrow.
"What're you saying?" Pikachu said morely curious of the man speaking.
Outside Ambrette Aquarium
"I meant this." The Man said as he walked the group outside the backway and showed them a Gold Magikarp statue.
"A Magikarp statue." Ash said as he observed the statue the man showed.
"And it's gold colored." Clemont said as it was not a regular kind of Magikarp.
"It's so big!" Bonnie exclaimed, seeing the size of the statue.
"Yeah, Maybe it's a special one." Alex said as it was maybe a special magikarp.
"It's a statue of the giant golden Magikarp." The man said as he knew it was a statue, meaning it was fake.
"So, why did they make a statue for it?" Ash said as he wondered why they made a statue.
"This Magikarp represents a dream for a lot of people. If you'd like to learn more, I suggest you speak to that gentleman over there." The man explained as he walked past the statue to the railing and pointed to a man who had a pokemon was fishing in the ocean.
"Who is he?" Alex said as he was wondering who he was.
"You see, he's the aquarium curator. I must be going now. He has great stories to tell." The Man explained as he knew that was the curator and he could let them learn a lot more.
"Thanks very much!" Ash said as he was interested to listen to the man.
"I am interested in the Magikarp, that's for sure." Alex said as Serena wanted them to go to the man and tell about the golden magikarp.
"Well, let's go!" Serena said as she was curious so they should ask them.
"Mhm!" Bonnie nodded as they all headed down the steps, as they did. Team Rocket who were disguised themselves again had evasdropped the conversation.
"Dig it! Swiping and selling that gold statue should make us beaucoup debucks." Meowth said as the three of them approached the gold magikarp statue with curiousity and sell for money.
"Don't count our millions just yet. It's probably just gold-plated." Jessie said as she knew it was only plastered with it to make it seem like it.
"Agreed. If it was solid gold, it simply won't be out here unprotected." James said, knowing they would protect gold if that was true.
"If that's true, why would they have a statue like this hanging out here in the first place?" Meowth said as he wondered why people put this out here.
"Perhaps there's a real giant gold magikarp splashing somewhere out there." Jessie said as she was curious if there was a gold magikarp around here.
"It behooves us to make it ours, then." James said as they knew they could get the Magikarp gold.
Ambrette Aquarium Beach
"..." The group had began to jog to the curator who was fishing out in the water as he was seemingly paitent before something got his rod.
"Hmm, Yes. A bite! Nnmm... It's a big one, that's for sure." The Curator said as he felt his rod being tugged on as he was curious now.
"Huh?" The Group muttered out as they were confused what the man was doing as they slightly approached him and watched.
"Mm aah! Ohh.." The Curator groaned out as he pulled it out to reveal it was only some kelp that he pulled out.
"Uh.. Excuse me. Do you run the aquarium?" Ash asked as the Curator looked at the group.
"Why yes, I do! My name is Rodman. Nice to meet you. I'd also like you to meet my partner, Clauncher." Rodman said as he turned to the group and he introduced himself to them.
"Mmph. Hello." Clauncher said as he gave a slight hump before looking away.
"It's a Clauncher!" Clemont explained, knowing what the Pokemon was.
"That's new to me." Alex said as Ash got out his Pokedex alongside Alex.
"Clauncher. The Water Gun Pokemon. Clauncher fires compressed water from the arm gun on it's right claw and damages foes from the impact from the water." The Pokedex said as Clauncher was slightly moving his right claw to make himself steady as he felt comfortable.
"Mph." Clauncher muttered out as it turned it's head away.
"Whoa." Ash gasped to see the new pokemon.
"That's new." Pikachu said as he was surprised to see it alright.
"We were curious about that giant golden magikarp statue." Serena asked to Rodman which got his attention.
"Oh, that statue's amazing, isn't it? As a matter of fact, I'm trying to catch the real golden magikarp right now." Rodman said as he knew the statue and told the group what he planned to do next.
"Huh?" The group said as they were surprise to hear what Rodman said.
"There's a real golden magikarp?!" Ash asked as it apparently was real!
"Hmm, According to the local legend, yes." Rodman said as he knew it was a local legend.
"So that's explains why that amazing statue's on display." Clemont said as he knew why it was up there, but it got alex's attention more.
"Why would it be though?" Alex said, he was wondering why they put it up for display.
"The legend's been around for years." Rodman said as he knew the legend was around a long time.
"Tell us the legend!" Alex exclaimed, wanting to hear more legendary stories.
"Very well, Long ago, people spent lots of time free diving here. One day, a free diver was shocked by a starmie while underwater, and came very close to drowning. Suddenly, a mysterious, giant, golden Magikarp appeared out of nowhere and carried the free diver to shore, saving his life." Rodman said as he told the story of a person who was diving and was electrocuted when the Magikarp saved him and brought him to shore before disappearing into the sunset.
"Wow." Ash said as he was amazed on the legend.
"So Magikarp saved the diver from Starmie's antics." Alex said as he knew what Magikarp did and why he did it.
"Apparently, the giant golden magikarp has been spotted in this same area several other times." Rodman said as he knew the Magikarp was not a one time thing.
"Fascinating." Clemont said as Rodman was smiling.
"You see, the mayor is very friendly man, so when I told him about the legend, he installed that giant golden magikarp statue for the aquarium. My dream is to catch it for the aquarium so children will have the opportunity to see it up close. That way, everyone will enjoy the aquarium even more! After all, the purpose of an aquarium is to educate and entertain, don't you think?" Rodman said as he explained his story for the golden magikarp, he wanted to catch it so he can make sure the legend was real for the entire aquarium for them to see that it was real.
"Sounds really awesome to me." Ash said as he was really hopeful that they could find it.
"Clauncher?" Pikachu said as he wanted to ask Clauncher.
"Huh?" Ash said as he noticed Pikachu was walking to Clauncher.
"Clauncher, can we help?" Pikachu said as he walked over to the Pokemon.
"Why would you wanna help?" Clauncher said as he was grumpy.
"Good point there." Pikachu said as Team Rocket was spying on the group's antics from a scope under the water in a Magikarp submarine.
"Well, Well, Well." Jessie said as she was all ears on hearing this.
"It's a legend." James said as he was smugging that they found out about this.
"Where there's smoke, there's fire I always say." Meowth said as he knew the there is smoke, there's fire quote.
"Which means if it is real..." Jessie said as she looked back at the group.
"We'll swim in success!" James said as they had their operation.
"Then Operation Catch the Golden Magikarp is underway!" Meowth said as they had their next motive.
"Oh! I just had a big brainstorm. Pedal to the medal!" Jessie said as she felt like this would have an idea for the legend.
"Full speed ahead!" All three of them said as they pedalled to the medal and up and left the scene.
"Oh, I got a bite!" Rodman said as he felt his fishing rod was getting some bites.
"Wow, this could be it!" Ash said as everyone got excited to see what Rodman would get.
"The golden magikarp!" Serena exclaimed, maybe this was the golden magikarp rodman got.
"It's a big one!" Rodman said as he was fighting back the resisting rod.
"Here it comes!" Alex said as rodman was ready to yank it out of the water.
"Eurrgh... Gahh." Magikarp said as it seemed like the golden magikarp to the group, gasping in awe before they had sudden surprised faces.
"Ohh.." The group said weakly as it was a Magikarp but it wasn't golden, it was a regular one.
"Er?" Magikarp said as he peeked out from the water.
"Aw, it's just a regular magikarp." Rodman groaned as he knew that wasn't the golden magikarp.
"Der... Err." Magikarp said as he was swimming back in the ocean.
"Whenever I catch a regular Magikarp, I always release it back to the ocean." Rodman explained, knowing he didn't have a purpose to catch a regular magikarp, so he put it back in the ocean.
"Oh." The group groaned out as the legend felt limited and urban,
"It's probably best to leave them alone, they don't know much of the legend to be honest." Alex said as he knew it was best to leave the Magikarp alone in the ocean, Ash got an idea!
"I know! I'll help you catch it." Ash said as he wanted to help out rodman with getting the golden magikarp.
"Me, too!" Serena said as she wanted to help also.
"I'd like to help too!" Clemont exclaimed, joining in.
"I wanna help also." Alex said as Rodman smiled at all the volunteers.
"Well, looks like i've got myself a fishing team." Rodman said as he had himself a team.
"Here." Rodman said as he gave the group each a fishing rod.
"Hmm, No doubt I'm going to be the one who catches that giant golden magikarp!" Ash said as he knew he would try to catch the golden magikarp, this got alex's attention with a smirk.
"Hah! Maybe so, but i'll try to do it." Alex said as he knew it was on.
"You're on, Alex!" Ash said as he accepted the challenge from Alex.
"We'll see about that." Clemont said as he knew it was on.
"You can do it, big brother!" Bonnie said as it was a competition between the three of them.
"Good luck you three!" Pikachu said as Ash, Alex and Clemont tossed their fishing rod stubs into the water, this caused Serena to be confused as she looked left and right.
"Oh.. Uh.." Serena said as she looked confused and scared.
"Serena?" Alex asked, what was up with her?
"What's the matter?" Ash asked to Serena, Serena was worried.
"I've never fished before." Serena confessed, she had never fished in her life.
"HUH?" Alex cried out as he was surprised to hear this! Seriously? She never fished before? How?
"Oh, Yeah? No prob. I'll teach ya." Ash said as he wanted to help her.
"Oh, Please..?" Serena pleaded as Ash was happy to help.
"First, you bring your rod all the way back, like this. Then fling it as far as you can." Ash said as he showed her how to do it.
"Throw the lure." Clemont explained as he knew what to do.
"You go back and you let 'er rip!" Alex said as Ash showed Serena what to do while she followed Ash's every footstep.
"Like this?" Serena said as she was moving her hands back.
"Farther." Ash said as he knew this was more power.
"How about this?" Serena said as she was struggling quite a bit to hold the rod into position.
"Now you cast the lure with all your might." Clemont said as he told her the next step as Serena had listened.
"Mmmnah!" Serena said as she tossed the lure into the water.
"Nice one!" Ash said as he was amazed to see how Serena threw the lure well.
"You did it!" Alex said as he was happy to see Serena fish the first time.
"You definitely have potential." Clemont said, cheering on Serena which got her to smile.
"Wow, you think so?" Serena said as she wondered while looking at Clemont.
"Hello there! It's really nice to meet you." Bonnie said as she introduced herself to clauncher.
"Go away..." Clauncher said as he walked away from Bonnie, getting the attention of Bonnie and Dedenne with worry.
"Huh? Oh.." Bonnie said as she noticed Clauncher walk away.
"What's his problem?" Dedenne said as he peeked out from the bag.
"Oh, What's that?" Serena said as she notice the lure of her rod was moving!
"A bite. Reel it in, quick!" Ash said as he knew what Serena needed to do.
"Ngh, i'm trying!" Serena muttered out as she struggled out to get the lure out which the tug would be.
"Don't hurt yourself when fishing, that'll be the worst outcome!" Alex said as he knew if she hurt herself, that would be bad.
"Could it be the giant, golden Magikarp?!" Rodman said as he wondered what it can be.
"We'll give you a hand! Pull!" Ash and Clemont said as they wanted to help out on Serena and they pulled the lure which led to a Pokemon!
"Mmaah!" The Corsola said as it was pulled out from the ocean and landed on a rock.
"Whoa! It's a Corsola!" Ash said as he knew that Pokemon was familiar to her.
"It's so cute!" Serena exclaimed as she loved the Pokemon.
"Thanks for that." Corsola said as it looked at Serena.
"Serena, why don't you battle Corsola and catch it?" Ash asked to Serena, that would maybe give Fennekin a friend.
"It could make sure Fennekin has a buddy." Alex said as that sparked something for Serena.
"If you wanna catch it, you should battle it right away!" Clemont said as this was a good chance right now.
"Right! Okay Fennekin, Come on out!" Serena said as she was stuck with the plan.
"Hmph, Let's show them-" Fennekin exclaimed as it was out of the Pokeball but Corsola had other plans.
"Water Gun!" Corsola shrieked out as it fired a super effective move at Fennekin.
"Ah! Leave me alone!" Fennekin cried out as it was running from the water gun.
"Huh? AH!" Serena said as she noticed Fennekin hide between her right leg as Corsola blasted Serena with water gun.
"Haha! Bye!" Corsola chuckled before jumping back into the ocean.
"You shouldn't run away like that, Fennekin." Ash said as he knew fennekin should never run from a battle.
"You should've battled instead." Clemont said as Fennekin grumped.
"Nope! Not on my fur!" Fennekin grumped, knowing she hates battling.
"Well, Fennekin prefers to have it's fur clean." Alex said as he did remember she like to be clean.
"Well, it was all a bit sudden. Next time, for sure." Serena said as she knew it was sudden so it was fine.
"Yeah, Next time!" Fennekin said, knowing next time they'll be ready.
"Hmmph. Eh?" Clauncher muttered and murmured before a shadow overseed him, it was Bonnie.
"Wanna play?" Bonnie asked which freaked the world out of Clauncher.
"AAAH! Where did you come from?" Clauncher cried out as he moved a bit away from Bonnie, being angry as he didn't like what Bonnie did.
"Come on." Dedenne said as he wanted to be a friend.
"No! Now go away!" Clauncher dismissed to them as the two of them didn't go away.
"Huh? Eh, eh..." Dedenne muttered out as he used his tail to poke clauncher which annoyed him.
"Stop." Clauncher said as he sent a warning message as he used his small claw to push them away.
"Ehh..." Dedenne said as he tried to poke clauncher with his tail again.
"Grrr. BAD!" Clauncher growled as it used it's big claw to grab Dedenne's tail and squeeze it angrily.
"Ow, Ow ow ow ow!" Dedenne cried out as it wasn't having some fun now.
"Hey, stop fighting, both of you!" Bonnie called out to them which caused Dedenne panic and attack.
"Nuzzle!" Dedenne said as it used nuzzle to shock Clauncher who was in slight pain.
"Dedenne! Stop it, now!" Bonnie exclaimed as she tried to get them to stop.
"Hmph! Water Gun!" Clauncher grunted as he chucked Dedenne into the air and fired a point blank water gun.
"Ahp! Blurph!" Dedenne said as he was struck in the air and landed head first, buried in sand.
"Dedenne!" Bonnie said as she pulled Dedenne out of the sand.
"Now i learned something." Dedenne said as he now knew not to mess a clauncher.
"Clauncher, now you know better than to attack an aquarium patron's Pokemon." Rodman said as he was scolding Clauncher but not very roughly, just try to make himself better.
"Hmph." Clauncher hurmphed as he turned his head in annoyance.
"Clauncher could be a bit friendlier, I guess. It originally lived in the aquarium, so anyone who visited us here could watch and interact with it." Rodman said as he knew about Clauncher very well, he was part of aquarium.
"Why is acting like that though?" Alex asked, why would Clauncher turn like that?
"Clauncher didn't like being looked at that way, It lost it's appetite, and I could tell it was getting sadder and sadder. So I decided to make it my Pokemon instead. Fortunately it's fine when it's just the two of us." Rodman explained the story of Clauncher as he knew that it was a pokemon that was lonely in the aquarium and refuse to look at people.
"I see." Ash said as he knew Clauncher's attitude.
"Clauncher-" Dedenne said as he tried to approach Clauncher again.
"AHEM." Clauncher groaned at her with a clear voice, stopping Dedenne in his tracks, causing him to sweatdrop.
"Dedenne!" Bonnie called out, making Dedenne retreat.
"Okay, bye!" Dedenne said as she ran toward Bonnie in her arms.
"Oh, you." Bonnie said as she lightly held dedenne and put him in a soft open hug position and nuzzled with it, causing Dedenne to accidently nuzzle her. Bonnie felt shocked by it and fell on the sand like a goof.
"Bonnie, I told you Dedenne's Nuzzle was dangerous. Remember?" Clemont explained as he knew that Nuzzle was dangerous.
"Sorry. My brain's numb." Bonnie muttered out weakly as she knew she forgot.
"Then again. It's Bonnie." Alex said as he chuckled slightly.
Meanwhile, With Team Rocket.
"There. Our giant golden Magikarpbot is complete." Jessie said as they were in plan, making a Magikarp submarine but it looked like the real golden magikarp.
"The big lug gets three stars!" Meowth said as they knew they did a great job.
"The real golden magikarp will think it's a friend and approach it, and then..." James said as they had a plan when it's two hands from the submarine would clamp together.
"Gotcha!" The three of them exclaimed as they knew the plan would work.
Meanwhile, Back with our heroes.
"..." Everyone was still fishing, waiting for something to bite on their rods as Clemont was making something for himself. Getting Bonnie's attention so suddenly.
"Hey, Clemont, what are you making there, anyways?" Bonnie asked as she wondered what Clemont was doing.
"All done." Clemont said as he was done with something.
"Huh?" Ash, Alex and Serena muttered out as they turned their heads to Clemont.
"The future is now thanks to science. Clemontic Gear, on! It's name? 'The No need for Water-type Pokemon Food Chinchou Model Magikarp Magnet'!" Clemont said as he revealed his new machine which looked like a Chinchou which made the group confused and puzzled.
"Your names are pretty boring, but they say it all." Bonnie said sarcastically, knowing Clemont had non-original naming.
"The what what Magikarp Magnet? That's a tongue twister there." Alex said as he was now confused.
"A sound wave inaudiable to people will omit from Chinchou's attennae all the way down to the bottom of the ocean. That sound wave has a naturally soothing effect on Magikarp so they'll be attracted to and gather around my wonderful device! And that's when we'll reel them all in!" Clemont said as he explained about the machine which would cause the attanae would use some soothing effect to make them attracted.
"Wow! Science is so amazing!" Ash exclaimed as he loved it.
"You're a genius!" Rodman said as he knew it was amazing.
"Aw shucks, you flatter me." Clemont said as he was proud. Ash felt a tug on his fishing rod.
"Huh? Oh! Oh, Just another Magikarp." Ash said as he yanked it the Pokemon tugging on the rod, before it was a regular Magikarp, Ash let it go back in the ocean. This got Alex puzzled.
"How are you getting more reels than me? What's on your stick Ash?" Alex asked, something was up and he wanted to know.
"Huh. Well it's this." Ash said as he knew that what he was using, It was a lure from a person that was with a Gym leader he met, Alex was more confused.
"Who's that?" Alex asked as he wondered what Ash had on his fishing rod.
"Oh, this? It's a little something from my friend in Unova, his name was Cilan and his reel really helps me catch Pokemon. It's way better than the old one." Ash said as he explained what the lure was and how his name was during his journey to Unova, This made Alex more lost and he felt like that was it.
"... That's it, i'm getting bait for food to reel my Pokemon." Alex said as he retracted his rod and lure before walking to the aquarium to get bait food.
"Let's get to it. Power on!" Clemont said as he chucked his machine in the water as the attanae's went into the water and gave off soundwaves.
"Do you really think that thing will work?" Serena asked as she didn't know what it will do.
"Huh?" The group said as it showed a fin from the water surface.
"Is that a Magikarp?" Serena asked, Rodman didn't think so with the blue skin.
"I don't think so." Rodman said as it showed red eyes.
"It's a Sharpedo!" Ash exclaimed, seeing what the Pokemon was.
"GRAAAHH!" Sharpedo shouted as it used Hydro Pump coming toward Ash and Serena, which made them jump out of the way in freakout way as more Sharpedo circled and messed around with Clemont's device which caused it to blow up, his machine blew up in his face. Giving him poofy hair.
"It didn't work in a big way." Bonnie said as she knew it didn't work.
"It shouldn't have attracted them... Just Magikarp." Clemont said as he knew it shouldn't have attracted sharpedo.
"Hey all, I'm back. Oh, Clemont's machine blew up again?" Alex said as he came back with bread crumbs, seeing what happened with Clemont.
"Yeah... Back to the drawing board." Clemont groaned out as he felt ashamed.
Meanwhile with Team Rocket.
"You would think that glorious golden Magikarp would be all over us by now." Jessie said as they were pedaling slowly when on their screen something giant-size whooshed past them.
"Heads up! Did you see that?" James said as they noticed something go by them.
"It was giant-size!" Meowth cried out as it seemed like the Pokemon.
"Catching time!" Jessie said as they grabbed the Pokemon, they cheered happily but suddenlt.
"Star...? Star..!? Starmie!" The Starmie cried out as it was caught in the claws before it used a thunderbolt on them which was shocking them.
"Wwwaaaah! We swiped a starmie insteaaad!" Meowth cried out in agony and pain from the thunderbolt from Starmie.
"Theen let it goo!" James cried out from the shocks.
"I'm trrying!" Jessie cried out in pain as they did let go.
"Star!" Starmie cried out as it fled and ran from the way.
Back with our heroes on the Beach.
"Fishing's kinda boring when you don't get any bites..." Serena said as she realized the fishing was boring since a lot of time had passed.
"But isn't it nice to relax with nothing to do, with all the time in the world to feel the delightful ocean breeze?" Rodman said as he knew it was boring but it was nice to relax.
"Maybe, but using bait like these cheese do help. But Ash is really up ahead in reeling Pokemon." Alex said as he knew the cheese and bread crumbs were slowly helping but it wasn't much. No golden magikarp was coming out.
"All done!" Clemont said as he was done with something.
"Huh?" The four of them said as they looked at Clemont again with confusion.
"The future is still now, thanks to science." Clemont said as he did it again with the same words.
"It's time for take two!" Bonnie said as she held up two fingers up.
"Clemontic Gear, on! It's name? The 'This time It will attract only Magikarp For Certain Model'!" Clemont said as he made the new machine that was similar to the old one but it had some adjustments.
"Your names are still pretty boring but they do say it all, like them or not." Bonnie said as she knew the names were still boring as usual.
"You sure it's gonna work this time?" Serena asked, being unsure if it would work this time.
"Yes, I just ran extensive tests on the Magikarp in the aquarium and discovered which sound wave they prefer." Clemont said as he ran tests to fix the machines original problems.
"Oaah.." Serena moanded out as she knew this was boring still.
"Clemont just keeps adding tongue twisters to his words of machines." Alex said as he knew it was more tongue twisting behind it.
"This improved model will emit a special sound wave down to the bottom of the ocean, basically the same procedure as the Chinchou model." Clemont said as he knew this new model will work with the new special sound wave to attact Magikarp.
"It's amazing that science is so amazing!" Ash said as he repeated what he said last time.
"Let's get started then!" Clemont said, getting ready for take two.
"You're sure about this?" Serena asked, being very unsure about this.
"Golden Magikarp, Come to me. Now!" Clemont said as he was ready, he chucked his machine to the water which let the single soundwave drop into the water and emit sound waves. Seeing Team Rocket's Golden Magikarp machine.
"Nothing seems to be happening..." Serena said as one of the lines got to the machine.
"Oh, I've got a bite!" Rodman said as another line clinged onto the machine.
"Yeah, so do I!" Ash said as he seemed like it was working.
"I got one too!" Alex said as he seemed to get one.
"I seem to have a bite, too!" Clemont exclaimed, it seemed to be working maybe.
"All right! You can do it!" Bonnie cheered on from the sidelines.
"Hey, I've got a bite!" Serena said as she knew that she got a bite also.
"Everyone! Pull!" Alex said as they pulled, Team Rocket inside their machine felt something being pulled their machine..
"Huh? Hey! We're being pulled backwards!" Jessie cried out.
"Meowth, what's up?" James asked as they were slowly trying to move more.
"You've got me.." Meowth said as they were struggling on moving.
"Pedal to the medal, times ten!" Jessie said as they needed to move more power.
"So.. heavy..." Serena said as she was straining herself to get it out.
"Mine's heavy, too. I've never caught something like this before!" Rodman said as he felt the pull on his rod.
"Me either!" Ash strained to get it to move.
"Hang on, Clemont!" Bonnie said as she came to Clemont's aid to help her out.
"It must be a group of Pokemon!" Alex said as he might think it was a group to rebel back.
"It's too big for me to hold onto!" Ash said as they knew it was big and heavy.
"Hold on to it! Huh?" Pikachu said as they all pulled and yanked together which they pulled out Team Rocket's golden magikarp machine submarine which got them to gasp all in unison on the shocking part.
"It's huge!" Ash said as he wondered it was big.
"Humongous!" Rodman called out, knowing how huge it was.
"Could we.. have caught it?" Clemont asked as they all got the same idea.
"We did! It's the golden magikarp!" All of them said in unison, it was the golden magikarp to machine, oh how they didn't know until later.
"Amazing! It really does exist!" Ash said as he lightly blushed in seeing it happily in person.
"We did it!" Pikachu said as he was happy.
"We really caught it! We really caught it" Serena excitingly cried out as she jumped up and down in joy.
"Wow, It does exist." Alex said as he blushed lightly in excitement.
"Excellent! My new device worked!" Clemont said as he was proud his machine caused it to come out.
"Great job, big brother!" Bonnie cheered in excitement, seeing it.
"Wha..." Clauncher said as he walked next to Dedenne and looked over.
"Alright, Pikachu, are you ready to battle it?" Ash asked as he looked down at Pikachu.
"So ready!" Pikachu said as he was ready.
"..." The golden magikarp hatch had opened up and team rocket peeked outside to see what was happening?
"What the?!" Pikachu exclaimed, seeing what was happening
"No way!" Ash said as he was surprised, Team Rocket did their motto and confronted the group.
"Team Rocket?!" All of them cried out seeing them.
"Can't you see were trying to catch the golden Magikarp!? Get yourselves in someone else's way for a change!" Jessie angrily pouted to the group, scolding them for
"Yeah!" Wobbuffet angrily pouted from the top of them.
"Those guys are always messing something up." Ash said, knowing how they would mess everything up.
"Well, who are those guys?" Rodman asked, who were these guys to him?
"They're bad guys who steal others Pokemon!" Clemont explained, telling the dark truth of Team Rocket.
"And they always are in the way. So we teach them a lesson." Alex said, knowing they needed a lesson. Surprising Rodman what they do.
"Let's grab these goon's Pokemon and show them no one gets in Team Rocket's face!" Meowth
"Beginning with Clauncher!" James said as they would make their first target to steal Pokemon to get back at them.
"Down we go." Jessie said as they jumped down into the submarine and closed the hatch.
"Hmph!" Clauncher said as he was dodging the claw machines from the magikarp.
"Gah!" Dedenne said as he was getting in the way.
"Hmph, Hmph! Hurmph!" Clauncher said as he managed to dodge every claw attack by Team Rocket from the water.
"Speedy Pokemon!" James angrily said as he had an angry emote on his head.
"Change up, let's set our sights on Dedenne." Jessie said as they had a change of plans and used the claws on Dedenne.
"Aaah! Aah!" Dedenne said as he tried to dodge but it grabbed him by the tail, taking one pokemon.
"Dedenne, No!" Bonnie cried out as Team Rocket had Dedenne.
"Help Dedenne, Pikachu!" Ash said as he wanted Pikachu to help.
"Yeah!" Pikachu said as Alex got out a Poke Ball.
"And you too, Dun-" Alex said before suddenly.
"Hurmph! Rrraah!" Clauncher said as he zoomed in and charged at the claw which grabbed Dedenne and spun around it, cutting it like a saw, dropping Dedenne into the water.
"Aah! I can't swim- huh?" Dedenne cried out as he couldn't swim and splashed water before Clauncher swam under and carried him on his body to land.
"Ally oop, Pumpkaboo!" Jessie said as she tossed Pumpkaboo's Poke Ball out to battle.
"You too, Inkay!" James said as he followed along with jessie.
"Hmmph." Pumpkaboo said as she appeared out to battle.
"Hrr.." Inkay said as it had a mad look on it's face..
"Use Shadow Ball!" Jessie said to use an attack.
"Shadow Ball!" Pumpkaboo said as it fired a Shadow Ball to the Clauncher.
"Look out, Clauncher! Dodge it!" Rodman called out as Clauncher had his eye percieved to dodge both. Clauncher dodged the Shadow Ball.
"Inkay, Psybeam!" James said as he wanted to get the Dedenne.
"Psybeam!" Inkay said as he fired off Psybeam but it missed.
"Hurmph, that's it." Clauncher said as now it was his turn to pay them back.
"Now use Water Gun!" Rodman said as he was ready to go back at attack.
"Water Gun!" Clauncher said as he fired off a water gun at Inkay directly.
"Blurrrggh!" Inkay blurged out as it was drowned in water and knocked back a bit.
"Crabhammer, let's go!" Rodman said as he went again.
"Craaabhammer!" Clauncher said as it's right claw was turned into a watery hand and charged at Pumpkaboo.
"Grraah!" Pumpkaboo said as it was directly hit.
"Now, Use Bubble Beam!" Rodman said, going for one last blow.
"Bubble Beeeam!" Clauncher said as it fired a Bubble Beam to the two Pokemon.
"Gaaah!" Pumpkaboo and Inkay said as they were launched at Team Rocket who was out in the open.
"Now, My turn!" Pikachu said as it was his turn.
"You've got it, buddy! Use Thunderbolt!" Ash said as now it was the right time to attack Team Rocket to end this.
"Thunderbolllt!" Pikachu said as he used thunderbolt on the golden magikarp machine, electrocuting the world out of Team Rocket and making an explosion.
"We're blasting off again!" Team Rocket cried out as they disappeared into the sky once again.
"Wow! Rodman, that was.. AWESOME!" Alex said as he was amazed with Rodman on what he did.
"Thanks! That was so nice of you to rescue Dedenne!" Bonnie said as she thanked Clauncher for rescuing Dedenne out there.
"Clauncher may be a bit ornery, but it has a strong sense of justice." Rodman said as he knew Clauncher well, he was a strong sensed person.
"Oh stop." Clauncher blushed a bit in embarassment.
Transition: Ambrette Aquarium, Sunset.
"Guess it's time to call it a day." Rodman said as he retracted his lure of the fishing rod.
"I'm sorry for all the trouble you had to go through." Ash said as he knew that they were sorry for their thing.
"And that we weren't able to help much." Serena sadly said as they weren't much helped for the golden magikarp.
"I know that the golden magikarp is still out there. Somewhere. I hope you find it soon." Alex said as he knew it was out there somewhere.
"Thank you for lending us your fishing rods." Ash said as he wanted to give them back.
"Yeah, Here." Alex said as he was happy to give it back.
"You kids go on and keep them. I'm certain they'll come in handy someday." Rodman said, letting them keep their fishing rods at least so they can keep them for the fishing if they needed to..
"Really? Thank you!" Alex exclaimed as now he could have a fishing rod in keep of handy.
"Wow, Really?! Thank you so much!" Ash said as he was happy, thanking Rodman for letting them keep the fishing rods.
"We'll take good care of them." Serena said as she knew they would keep the fishing rods for safety.
"We appreciate it." Clemont said as they appreciated that Rodman let them keep the fishing rods.
"Huh?" The group said as they heard something, they gasped and pointed.
"Look!" Ash said as he pointed out to the sea, seeing a golden magikarp!
"Orrraaahhh!" The Shiny Magikarp cried out as it was high in the air.
"Oaaah..." The Golden Shiny Magikarp moaned as it went back into the sea waters and splashed, shocking the group.
"Was... was that it?" Ash asked as Rodman was excited to all else in every part of the body who was energized.
"YEAH!" Rodman
"WE SAW IT! OH MY GOODNESS!" Alex shouted as they saw it in front of their eyes.
"The legend is really true!" Rodman said as he was very happy where he was in joy.
"Yes, it's true!" Rodman said as it was a true thing, it was real!
"Alright!" Ash cheered in excitement.
"It's real!" Serena said as it was real alright.
"It does exist!" Clemont said as it was an existing thing.
"Woo-hoo! It does seem true!" Alex said as he cheered happily.
"Happy! Happy! Everybody's Happy!" Bonnie exclaimed as she knew everyone was happy seeing the real thing.
"Gotta go." Ash said as he was happy.
"Thank you for letting help you. After all this time." Alex said as he knew that they were happy.
"We'll be back." Bonnie said as she knew they'll come back one day.
"Good, And I will have caught the golden Magikarp by the time I see you next!" Rodman exclaimed as he knew that he would catch the shiny Golden Magikarp for the aquarium.
"We look forward to it." Serena said as she knew they would be ready for it.
"Goodbye, Clauncher!" Dedenne said as he waved goodbye to Clauncher.
"Bye, Youngster." Clauncher said as he waved goodbye.
"And Alex, young pal. If you manage to find your mother, come visit the aquarium. You can tell her you saw the golden Magikarp." Rodman promised to them as he told Alex, hoping they would see the Golden Magikarp in the aquarium.
"You got yourself a deal!" Alex said as the group took their leave happily with their fishing rods.
Although our heroes were unable to help rodman catch the golden Magikarp of legend, they've once again been reminded there are countless wonder they have yet to discover as their exciting adventures continue!
