"Ah, Come on guys! It's up ahead!" Serena exclaimed as she was hurrying to go to a place so bad.

"What's going on? You sound more excited than ever!" Alex asked as the group was chasing her.

"It's the festival! The Ambrette Trade festival is today! I can't miss out on it!" Serena said as she stopped on a small hillside and pointed at a crowd of people and told them as she pulled out her GPS.

"Ambrette Trade festival?" Ash exclaimed, being surprised what Serena said to them.

On their routes continuing to Cyllage City, our heroes have gotten an invitation to Ambrette Town's trade festival, what could it mean?

"What do you mean by Ambrette trade festival?" Clemont asked, what was the trade festival?

"It's a festival that happens once every year! The Ambrette trade festival!" Serena said as she pulled out a gps with a picture of people and the machine to trade Pokemon.

"Trade Festival?" Bonnie said as she was wondering what it meant.

"It's something where trainers have traded their pokemon to start a new chapter for new Pokemon to have to which they become stronger. And then by the time ends, people celebrate with dancing and a feast!" Clemont explained as he knew about the festival and for the people to enjoy.

"Wow! I wanna go!" Alex said as he was ready to go.

"Yeah, Me too! Me too!" Bonnie exclaimed as she was more and more eager to go there.

"Then what are we all waiting for? Let's go!" Serena said as she was happy.

EPISODE 24: The Ambrette Tradefest! (Ash)

EPISODE 24: Hello New, Goodbye Old! (Alex)

During their trip to Cyllage City, our heroes have been hearing the news that Ambrette Town has suddenly opened up a trade festival for them to join, now our heroes have arrived.

"Wow!" Ash said as the group arrived toward the Ambrette tradefest where many people were there, talking with a machine to trade Pokemon which got the group looking around amazingly.

"Astounding!" Pikachu said as he was loving too see all the people and Pokemon there.

"Look at all the people here! It seems to be so busy!" Clemont said as he was surprised to see a lot of people.

"Yeah. Seeing all the people talk and have a get together seems like peace is out there." Alex said as he knew it seemed so familiar to them as it felt like world peace was out there.

"Normally not a lot of people are here at this time of year, but now it seems to breaking records!" Serena said as she looked at her GPS as she knew something was up as it seemed to be a lot different this time.

"Wow! That's so cool!" Alex said as he believed it was amazing!

"It's a good way to interact others. And talk about stories and information!" Serena explained as it seemed to be something like the battle chateau they were at.

"This also might be a good time for battling other trainers." Ash said as he knew this was a way to train.

"Heh, You always have your sure on battling with others ash, let's relax and have fun." Alex said as he had a counter-arguement to ash saying that battling was better.

"Aw, but battling trainers is such a good way to beat Grant." Ash said as he knew he needed to do special training to get to battle Grant.

"Well. Maybe you can learn from trainers who already defeated Grant." Serena said as that got Ash's idea.

"Hey, yeah you're right!" Ash said as he made a fist and felt so pumped up.

"Well, what can we wait for? Let's talk to some people, huh? Bonnie! Where'd you go?!" Clemont said as he was ready for them to participate as he looked down to look at Bonnie before realizing she had suddenly disappeared to the group. Causing Clemont to panic and make Clemont look in many directions for her.

"Uh.. Clemont?" Alex said as he looked at Clemont.

"What?" Clemont asked as Alex began to turn his head.

"Over there." Alex said as he pointed to Bonnie's location which got Clemont's attention.

"Huh? AAAH!" Clemont stuttered as he began to freak out to see Bonnie was up to her usual antics on three older woman having a chat..

"You're a keeper! Please take care of my big brother would you? He's looking for a wife. And I think you suit him perfectly!" Bonnie asked as she proposed to the three of them which caused Clemont to be red in the face once again.

"Bonnie! For the love of science! Please stop doing this!" Clemont said as he used his Aipom Arm to drag Bonnie away from the women.

"Please think about it, okay?" Bonnie asked as the three women looked confused.

"That little girl is strange." A woman said as she looked at her friends.

"Yeah, I know. Who is she?" Another woman asked, she was puzzled.

"I wonder what she meant." A Third woman said as she didn't know what Bonnie meant.

"Oh. You three go ahead, i'll talk to bonnie." Clemont said to the three of them.

"Alright." Serena said as Bonnie began to stammer.

"But… But-" Bonnie stuttered out trying to get out words.

"None, Bonnie. Come along." Clemont said as he began to take away Bonnie.

"Well. Let's enjoy!" Alex said as he would let them catch up later.

"Yeah!" Ash said as they were ready to partcipate.

"Okay!" Serena said as they all got their Poke Ball's out.

"Froakie, Fletchling, Come out." Ash said as he summoned Froakie and Fletchling to partake.

"Hello, what's this?" Froakie said as he looked around.

"Huh? What's going on?" Fletchling asked as Ash went to his knees and began to talk to them.

"Let's have some time with other trainers and their Pokemon, then it's special training time!" Ash said as he wanted to let them have the time of their lives for today and enjoy themselves.

"Alright!" Froakie and Fletchling said as they were excited to do this.

"Fennekin, come on out!" Serena said as she summoned Fennekin out of her Pokeball.

"Hey, Serena." Fennekin said as it was sitting, then it went into Serena's arms.

"Let's enjoy ourselves and have fun, okay? We'll keep you clean." Serena said as she wanted to enjoy, and made a promise.

"Alright!" Fennekin said as she was happy. Serena and Fennekin walked around and looked.

"Wow, A Fennekin! That's a Kalos starter." A person said as they recongnized the Pokemon very well.

"Yeah, It's more of a female than a male." Serena said as she explained to her Fennekin to the trainer very well.

"Oh, How about this Pokemon for your Fennekin?" The person asked as he summoned out a Puppy like Pokemon for Serena.

"Huh? Who's that Pokemon?" Serena asked as she got out her Pokedex and scanned the new Pokemon.

"Lillipup. The Puppy Pokemon, A Normal Type. Though it is a very brave Pokémon, it's also smart enough to check its foe's strength and avoid battle." The Pokedex said as it scanned Lillipup and read about it's data, which it made a gesture of bravery.

"A Lillipup. Well, thank you but i'll pass. Fennekin is my partner and that's that." Serena said as she had to pass, she then put away her Pokedex.

"Alright, you won't forget me, but you won't regret it. My names Jack. Nice to meet you… uh." Jack said as he introduced himself to Serena as he recalled Lillipup to his Pokeball.

"Serena, it's Serena." Serena introduced herself to Jack as Jack nodded.

"Hmm, Nice to meet you. Good luck, Serena!" Jack said as he shook hands with her before he took his leave.

"Good luck to you too, Jack!" Serena said as she waved to Jack, with Ash and his Pokemon walking around, he was curious what to do.

"Wow! That Pikachu seems very rare and strong." A Female cried out as she saw a Pikachu being powerful before as she knew it was not common around here. She wore black heels, a white sundress and red fingerless gloves.

"You think so? I mean, he is my buddy after all." Ash said as he was surprised what she said, the girl had an idea.

"I know! How about this one for your Pikachu? It can help with my Female Pikachu romance." The Female said as she wanted to have a Pikachu couple as she pulled out a Poke Ball and revealed an Espurr now.

"Huh, Oh wow! An Espurr!" Ash said as he was surprised to see a Pokemon he has met before.

"Hi there!" Espurr said as it waved happily to Ash.

"Look, even though it's nice to offer. I have to say no, I can't trade away my buddy." Ash said as he knew he would not trade his Pokemon away cause it was his buddy and only his partner.

"Aw.." Espurr moaned out as it looked sad.

"Thank you, come along Espurr. My name is Alia. Thanks for the offer." Alia said as she asked Espurr to come along now.

"No problem, have a good time alia!" Ash said as he waved to Alia.

"Espurr, Return. I hope you can speak with me more." Alia said as she returned Espurr to it's pokeball and began to wave goodbye.

"Maybe, good luck!" Ash said as he said goodbye.

"Yeah! Good luck!" Pikachu said as he waved goodbye and good luck.

"You know, all of these people have some interest and that's it." Ash said as he knew that lots of people seemed interested in trades.

"Hm, I am not gonna get traded." Froakie said as he turned his head and closed his eyes, being annoyed slightly..

"Me neither! I prefer to be on a strong trainer!" Fletchling said as he wanted to stay with Ash.

"You guys love being trained by me, don't ya?" Ash asked as it caused the Pokemon to smile.

"Hmm, Wow. Lots of people around here are asking others for trades. I wonder." Alex said as he was looking around to the many trainers around him.

"Excuse me, what Pokemon do you have?" A Man in a vest said as he approached Alex.

"Um, A Gastly, Pidgey and Dunsparce is all I have." Alex said as he counted his fingers for the Pokemon he had.

"Hmm, What do you want for your... Gastly? I have a few Pokemon that can help you on your journey." The man in the vest

"Wow, A Torchic, Azurill and.. who's that Pokemon?" Alex said as he knew the two Pokemon before pulling out his Pokemon on the new Pokemon.

"Venipede. It discovers what is going on around it by using the feelers on its head and tail. It is brutally aggressive." The Pokedex said as it read Venipede's data which made Venipede use those feelers on the head.

"A Venipede! Cool!" Alex said as he put away his Pokedex.

"So, Any pokemon that interest you on your journey for Gastly?" The Man in the vest asked as Alex had to make his decision.

"Hmm, I'm so sorry. But i have to skip out, I got Gastly and I want to train him with what I have." Alex said as he knew he needed to keep his Pokemon but he was willing to trade.

"I see, thank you. I'm Max and i'll see you another time." Max said as he thanked Alex for what he tried before taking his leave.

"Thank you, Max!" Alex said as he thanked Max for the time to talk.

"Thanks for the decision. I'll be on my way now. Return you lot." Max said as he returned all of his Pokemon and took off slowly as he was going to go somewhere else.

"I'll hope to see you another time." Alex said as he let Max go on his way.

"Good luck, with your journey." Max said as he took his leave as Alex looked more around.

"Hmm." Alex said as he kept looking around to see what trades he could do with other people.

"Hey! There's Alex!" Bonnie said as her voice was heard which got Alex's attention.

"Huh? Bonnie? Oh, Clemont!" Alex said as he waved which brought the two of them over.

"Yeah. We were trying to find you both when I took Bonnie away." Clemont said as he was explaining about their situation on what happened.

"Hmph, Like I said. I was sorry!" Bonnie said as she slightly pouted and told her brother how sorry she was.

"You better be, i'm really tired of telling you over and over." Clemont said as he was getting really sick of Bonnie's usual things.

"Come on you two, you're emotions are letting you run rampant. Just have fun." Alex said as he knew this was for fun.

"You're right, maybe let's have fun at the festival." Clemont said as he knew it should be all fun and stuff.

"Yeah!" Bonnie said excitingly as she was gonna have fun.

"But please, do not do that again." Clemont said as he asked his sister to not do it again with what happened earlier.

"Clemont! I promise i'll stop!" Bonnie said as she made a slight promise to them.

"And. Don't run to an unknown place where I can't find you. I don't want dad to get mad at me." Clemont said as he told bonnie a lesson.

"Eep! I..I won't! I promise." Bonnie said as that got her attention very well.

"All right, stay close to me, Bonnie." Clemont said as he wanted Bonnie to stay close.

"Okay, Big brother!" Bonnie said as she and Clemont walked around when a sudden woman's voice got the attention for them.

"Wow! Is that a Dedenne!? Those things are very rare!" A woman said as she wore a jacket with long slick pants and purple shoes, her eyes were black and her hair was blue. As she approached the group.

"What, Dedenne is that rare?" Bonnie said as she was very confused what was said about that woman.

"I am a rare around here?" Dedenne said as he peeped out of the bag.

"Y'know, I don't think Dedenne was rare around Kalos. I think they're quite common in Route 4." Clemont said as he recalled something earlier about their journey and how they found Dedenne.

"Really? I traveled that route several times and I never found one." The woman said as she recalled about that same route.

"Well, were sorry. But Bonnie is my little sister and I want her to take care of it." Clemont said as he explained the situation.

"Yeah, sorry. But Dedenne is not for trade." Bonnie said as she knew it was not for trade.

"That's right!" Dedenne said as he was proud of himself for it.

"But.. Oh. Alright." The Woman said as she had to admit her give up.

"Yeah, your a good Pokemon. Aren't you, Dedenne?" Bonnie

"Yeaaah... Nuzzle!" Dedenne

"Aaaahh! Oooohhh." Bonnie cried out as she fell to the ground again.

"Oh my goodness. Are you ok?" The Woman asked as she didn't know if Bonnie was okay.

"Sorry about that, she does that and gets herself paralyzed." Clemont said as he apologized for Bonnie's silly move.

"Well, Nuzzle seems like a nice move." The woman said as she was impressed.

"Bonnie, I told you that using Nuzzle would get you paralyzed again, don't you remember?" Clemont

"Sorry, my brain forgot again." Bonnie muttered out as she felt very silly indeed.

"Well... she is a cute one. I'll call it off. Take care of her." The woman said as she left them as Clemont waved goodbye.

"Thanks. Here, let me help you Bonnie." Clemont said as he went to help Bonnie.

"Well, the people here are very active here, no doubt." Ash said as the group were together again, seeing their situation pretty well.

"Yeah. Almost everyone here wants to trade so bad. Someone offered me a Venipede and Torchic for a Gastly. But I doubt they can help against Grant." Alex said as he knew everyone wanted to trade and he told his side of the story.

"Someone tried to offer a Lillipup for my Fennekin, but I knew that losing Fennekin would hurt our bond. So I declined it." Serena said as she told what happened to her part of the trade festival.

"People wanted my Pikachu so bad. Man, trying to get myself clear was a hassle." Ash said as he knew Pikachu was almost traded for some reason.

"Really? They see your Pikachu as a big target?" Alex asked as he wanted to know why that's the case.

"Many people wanted my buddy... Ohh." Ash said as he groaned.

"At least they got off our backs." Alex sighed as they were out of there.

"But how come so many people are here? Normally it's around thirty to fourty people. But it now feels twice the population!" Serena said as she wondered why, she pulled out her GPS and read most of the details that was going on.

"Maybe it's an anniversary?" Bonnie said as she made an idea why that was.

"Maybe it's because of a specific event that might be happening." Clemont said as he wondered why.

"Well, whatever it is. Something might be up." Ash asked as he knew something was weird and off.

"Don't, maybe people want to enjoy this event cause they are here for the festival and beaches." Alex said as he maybe had his own theory for this reason.

"That is true, people love the salty beach airs here. So of course there will be festivals." Serena said as people did love festivals, that was the true part.

"So what is the deal?" Clemont said as he wondered what the deal was.

"There has to be a celebrity here, right?" Ash asked, maybe that was the case.

"Maybe, something is up." Clemont said as he knew something was strange.

"Oh, Come on Magnemite! Please don't do this!" A person said as he was crying out in a plea.

"Huh?" The group said as they turned their attention to see a Magnemite was attacking a person who was trying to calm the Pokemon down.

"No! Magnemite! Whoa! Hey, take it easy on me. Come on! Magnemite, don't do this to me!" The person cried out as it dodged a thunder shock and pleaded for the Magnemite to at least calm down and listen to him.

"Looks like that man is in trouble!" Ash said as he realized that the person was in trouble.

"That Magnemite is going a bit rogue!" Clemont said as he realized the Magnemite going out of control and non-listening.

"Fennekin, Flamethrower!" Serena said as she wanted to help out.

"Right, Flamethrower!" Fennekin said as it fired off a flamethrower to the Magnemite.

"Whoa! Grrr!" Magnemite said as it dodged it and angrily glared at Fennekin.

"Uh oh, that might have angered the Magnemite." Clemont said as he realized that was a mistake.

"Magnemite, No! Come on! Talk to me!" The person said as he wanted them to calm down and listen.

"Hey, What's going on with your Magnemite?" Ash asked to the person as he looked at the group.

"Oohh. Magnemite hasn't been listening to me ever since we battled and lost to the Cyllage Gym leader." The person said as he told the story of Magnemite and his battle and his loss.

"A Magnemite? It lost to a pokemon?" Ash said as he wondered why Magnemite lost to the ace of the Cyllage City Gym Leader. Grant!

"Yeah, And ever since then... it's gone out of control, rogue and refuses to listen to me all the time. I don't know why!" The person as he didn't know what happened to his Pokemon.

"Really?" Ash said as he was surprised to hear his story.

"Oh no. That's sad to hear!" Serena said as she felt bad for Mike.

"Yeah, I don't know why. Please. You got to help me!" The person cried out as he wanted to have help from them.

"We can help. What's your name?" Alex said as he wanted to help, he couldn't stand around.

"It's Mike, Magnemite and I have been partners since we first met on a broken house. And we went on a journey... oh. The memories." Mike said as he was happy to hear to tell his story.

"I'm a Electric Type Gym Leader. So maybe we can help out in any way we can." Clemont explained to himself which got Mike's Attention very well as he felt happy.

"You're an Electric-type gym leader?! Oh thank you!" Mike exclaimed as he was happy that Clemont could help.

"So tell me, what have you done with Magnemite before this rogue thing started?" Clemont asked to Mike, which Mike had his head hung down.

"Well. Magnemite has been a behaving Pokemon when we were journeying together and we even beat the first gym with ease. But then when we got to Cyllage City, we lost to the gym leader and Magnemite went berserk on me for some reason. And the rest was that." Mike

"So Magnemite defeated Viola and it continued listening?" Ash said as he knew Magnemite was strong and listened to mike.

"Yes, and I thought we had a good friendship. We went to the Battle Chateau to get stronger and when we left. We headed to Cyllage City, we challenged Grant but when it came to his last Pokemon, he humiliated us and now. Magnemite never listens to me again." Mike said as he finished up his story.

"Huh, So you wanted to become stronger. That Magnemite must have a mind of it's own and hates losing it seems." Clemont said as he wondered about Magnemite.

"But, why would Magnemite try to attack it's trainer?" Serena said as she was wondering why.

"I'm not quite sure." Clemont said as he knew his knowledge of why it would attack Mike instead of the Pokemon.

"I don't know if Pokemon have a knack of history for disobeying trainers in their first stage." Bonnie said as she wondered, this caused Ash to remember something.

"Well, I remember when I had a Charmander, he evolved and didn't obey a command I had. I didn't know why either until it evolved into Charizard and obeyed my commands." Ash explained as he remembered his story with Charmander and how it evolved.

"Maybe I heard from a rumor, when a first stage pokemon evolves. It goes into this rebelious phase where it acts on it's own." Clemont said as he wondered and told stories.

"Oh, So some pokemon have their own mindset sometimes." Bonnie said as she wondered why.

"Well, some Pokemon don't. Dedenne can't evolve into another Pokemon so as long as you have a good bond between it, everything is all clear." Clemont said as he knew Dedenne couldn't evolve which caused Bonnie to relieve a sigh in a thank goodness manner.

"Huh, Well. You won't go into your rebellious phase against me, right Fennekin?" Serena said as she looked down at Fennekin.

"Nope!" Fennekin said as she turned her head.

"Well. Please, I ask of you to help me get Magnemite to trust me back." Mike said as he asked them for help.

"How about a battle? My Dunsparce against your Magnemite. Maybe we can work something there." Alex said as he had an idea to help out Mike and his Magnemite.

"Okay, That can work!" Mike said as this would work. Soon they both got onto a battlefield with them being on opposite sides of each other.

"The one-on-one battle between Mike's Magnemite and Alex's Dunsparce is about to begin! The battle will be over when one pokemon from either side is unable to continue. Is this good?" Clemont said as he was acting like the referee and telling them the rules each as both trainers got the sign.

"Right!" Alex and Mike said as they said it together.

"Alright, Battle begin!" Clemont declared as the battle began

MIKE VS ALEX: ONE ON ONE

"Dunsparce, Easy with it. Use Ancient Power!" Alex said as he wanted to take it slow and steady for them.

"Magnemite, Thunder Shock!" Mike said as he wanted to counter attack.

"Nope." Magnemite turned away as he ignored the command.

"Ancient... Power!" Dunsparce said as it fired off an ancient power.

"At least watch out for the Ancient Power!" Mike said as he wanted to at least let him respond and hear his voice.

"Eh? Hmm." Magnemite said as he turned his eye to the rocks and dodged them all.

"Well, at least he responded." Ash said as he watched from the sidelines.

"But he is still rebelling." Serena said as she still noticed Magnemite didn't care.

"Come on, Obey my moves. Please, Go for Thunder Shock!" Mike said as he wanted to at least let Magnemite hear him.

"Nope! Sonic Boom!" Magnemite said as it didn't use a Thunder Shock but Sonic boom, catching Dunsparce off-guard.

"Hrraggh." Dunsparce said as he got hit with a Sonic Boom instead.

"That wasn't a thunder shock." Bonnie said as she sweatdropped nervously.

"But it did attack." Serena said as she noticed it did attack.

"Okay. Use Pursuit!" Alex said as he used his next move.

"Hmrph! Pursuit!" Dunsparce said as he obeyed orders without rebel.

"Hrrgh!" Magnemite said as it was directly hit and knocked back.

"Okay. Now, Listen to me. Thunder Wave!" Mike said as he tried to ask him for the move he wanted.

"Hmph! Thunder Shock!" Magnemite said as he disobeyed another command.

"No! I never said that either!" Mike said as he freaked out.

"Magnemite is really not listening. It seems to really try to battle and win by itself." Bonnie said as she realized this was not working and Magnemite was trying to win for itself to gain any composure.

"Gurgh! Erk." Dunsparce said as he was hit and suddenly paralyzed.

"Dunsparce is paralyzed, that isn't good." Alex said as he sweatdropped as Mike knew this was good.

"Now, Sonic Boom!" Mike said as he made a loud and clear command, Magnemite rolled the eye.

"Fine... Sonic Boom!" Magnemite said as he listened to one command by Mike.

"Magnemite listened to him!" Ash said as he saw Magnemite was focusing.

"Hooray! Magnemite's listening! Magnemite's listening!" Bonnie cheered on happily.

"Use Ancient Power!" Alex said as he used another move.

"Ancient... Power!" Dunsparce said as it fired off the rocks once again.

"Okay. Now, Thunder Shock!" Mike said as he made his move to block Ancient Power but Magnemite had other ideas of his own.

"Magnet Bomb!" Magnemite said as he blew it through the rocks which hit Dunsparce in body and face cleanly.

"Grrraagghh..." Dunsparce groaned out as it was hit.

"Dunsparce...!?" Alex said as the explosion smoke cleared with Dunsparce having it's eyes full of swirls as it was defeated.

"Dunsparce is unable to continue battling! Meaning Magnemite is the winner!" Clemont declared as Dunsparce lost and Magnemite had won the battle.

"See, Magnemite? You won!" Mike said as he tried to cheer up Magnemite for the win finally.

"So what?" Magnemite said as he shrugged it off like nothing.

"Geez, after a win, he's still not happy." Ash said as he realized Magnemite's really did mean nothing to them at all, it was a waste of time.

"I wonder what his real problem is." Serena wondered, sure Magnemite had a history of losing.

"Not to much confidence?" Bonnie wondered, what was with Magnemite?

"Maybe he just wanted to get a stronger opponent." Clemont said as he wanted maybe something stronger.

"Maybe someone should try to talk to it clearly." Ash said as he made an idea of his own.

"Yeah! Clemont, your a gym leader. You know a lot about electric types. Maybe try to help out Magnemite and his true problems." Bonnie said as she knew her big brother could help out with Magnemite but Clemont knew that was not true at all.

"But.. I help out electric types by building inventions, not talking to them." Clemont said as he said as an actual electric gym leader.

"Ooahh.." The group groaned out on Clemont's uselessness.

"Oh, It's no use. My Magnemite will never obey me ever again." Mike said as he groaned out and sighed in defeat.

"Hey. It's alright." Dunsparce said as he took the apology well.

"Oh, Your dunsparce is really nice. He's comforting at least after losing the battle fairly. Thanks buddy." Mike said as he really liked Alex's Dunsparce so much since it was comforting.

"Heh, He's very friendly to our Pokemon." Clemont said as he knew Alex's Dunsparce was a very nice Pokemon.

"I like your Dunsparce, how did it get to trust you?" Mike asked as he liked Alex's dunsparce and questioned about it.

"Well-" Alex stuttered out before...

"HELP! MY POKEMON! It's going out of control!" A Woman's voice cried out which got the group's attention.

"Huh?!" The group cried out as they gasped to see the situation.

"Look at that!" Serena said as Pokemon was running rampant and trying to attack, to not get traded maybe.

"ORRRUAAAGHH!" The Pokemon cried out as it resembled a bear pokemon.

"What is that thing?!" Bonnie asked as Ash knew what it was.

"It's a Beartic! It's out of control!" Ash said as Alex got out the Pokemon and scanned it.

"Beartic, The Freezing Pokemon, an Ice Type. They love the cold seas of the north. They create pathways across the ocean waters by freezing their own breath." The Pokedex read about Beartic and how it lived in the north of Kalos.

"We need to stop it. Before it destroys the entire festival!" Clemont said as they realized they need to stop it.

"Right! Let's go buddy! And Froakie, I choose you!" Ash said as he was able to summon out froakie.

"Right away, Ash!" Pikachu said as he wanted to get in battle.

"Let's stop this monster!" Froakie exclaimed as they needed to work together.

"Fennekin! Come on out!" Serena said as she summoned out Fennekin to help.

"Hmph!" Fennekin said as she got ready to battle and stop the beartic.

"Looks like we need to calm it down before it goes crazy!" Clemont explained as they needed to do something.

"Right! Let's do this!" Ash said as the group had to calm down Beartic before havoc was caused.

"Got it!" Froakie and Pikachu said as they had to work together.

"Alright Magnemite, lets work together top stop this beartic before-" Mike said as he looked at his Magnemite but however...

"hmph, no thanks." Magnemite muttered before he began to turn away. Not listening to orders again!

"Magnemite...! Come on!" Mike said as he wanted him to help too but his attitude was not cutting it, this got beartic's attention.

"Blizzard!" Beartic said as it fired off a cold sheet of ice to the group.

"Dodge it!" Ash and Serena said together as their Pokemon all dodged it with Froakie jumping in the air and having an idea.

"Frubbles!" Froakie said as it used it's sticky frubbles to trap beartic in place!

"Grragh! Hey! GRAAAGHH!" Beartic stuttered as it was unable to move and it shouted up in the air. People were watching this.

"Now! Let's attack all together!" Ash said as this was a good chance to attack.

"Right!" Serena said as this was their chance to strike.

"Okay!" Alex said as he was watching.

"Pikachu! Thunderbolt! Froakie! Water Pulse!" Ash said to the two Pokemon, commanding them to attack.

"Fennekin! Flamethrower!" Serena said as she made her move also.

"Thunderbolt!" Pikachu said as he charged up and fired off a thunderbolt to beartic.

"Water Pulse!" Froakie said as he used Water Pulse, which the two combined attacks formed as one toward Beartic.

"Grraghhg!" Beartic cried out as he was directly hit since it was stuck in place.

"Flamethrower!" Fennekin said as she used Flamethrower which was super effective but weakened the frubbles.

"Hrraggh!" Beartic said as it was hit, then it broke free of the Frubbles!

"It broke out of it's frubbles!" Ash said as this was not a good sign to make it move again.

"Blizzzaarrdd!" Beartic shouted as it used the ice from it's mouth to the group's pokemon.

"Grrggh!" Fennekin and Froakie said as they were cold and directly hit.

"Fennekin, Return!" Serena said as she used Fennekin's Poke Ball to return her.

"You too, Froakie!" Ash said as he returned Froakie to his Poke Ball.

"Looks like we need to do this! Go Magnemite, Please!" Mike said as he pleaded for Magnemite to go.

"No. Thank, you." Magnemite said as he still refused to go and help, heck even listen to mike..

"Oooahh... Why?" Mike groaned out as he wondered why Magnemite does this.

"Pikachu! Iron tail!" Ash said as he continued to attack.

"Iron...Tail!" Pikachu said as his tail glowed white and whipped right toward Beartic.

"Hmph! Gragh! Hrrgh!" Beartic said as he used a brick break to clash with Iron tail multiple times.

"Grragh! Hmph! Hragh!" Pikachu said as he kept into the fight until Beartic eyed towards Magnemite who was in the open.

"Grraggh! Brick Break!" Beartic said as it was heading towards Magnemite!

"Magnemite!" Mike said as he ran to Magnemite's aid and got him out of the way.

"Grraghhg!" Beartic said as it missed it's brick break and onto the sand.

"It's gonna be okay, Magnemite. You're safe now." Mike said as he knew it was all okay.

"M-Mike..." Magnemite stuttered as he knew his trainer did care for him.

"Now, Pikachu! Thunderbolt!" Ash said as this was the chance to strike.

"Thunderbolllt!" Pikachu said as it fired off a thunderbolt.

"Eurraaghhh! Erghh! Ice Shard!" Beartic groaned out as it turned it's attention back to the group and used an attack as revenge.

"Look out! Ice Shard!" Ash said as it was coming toward the group.

"Hrraaghh!" Magnemite said as it went right through Mike's arms and came toward the group.

"Ergh! Hmmph, Hah!" Magnemite grunted out as it was taking the hits which were not very effective.

"Nice, Magnemite!" Serena said as she thanked Magnemite for the hits it took.

"Alright, Magnemite! Now! Use Magnet Bomb!" Mike said as it was hit turn.

"Hurrmphh! Magnet Bomb!" Magnemite said as he was able to hit him.

"Look! He finally listened to Mike!" Ash exclaimed as the group were in awe of Magnemite's listening.

"Ourraaagggh! Errgh." Beartic cried out as it was in pain but now it calmed down, as it's trainer ran over to check on it.

"Oh.. Thank you." The woman said as she thanked the group, Ash jogged toward Mike.

"Mike! You're Magnemite actually listened to you! He did it! He got your trust back!" Ash said as this got Mike's attention as he looked at Magnemite.

"You.. did?" Mike said as he turned his head to Magnemite.

"Yes. Thank you." Magnemite said as he he finally earned trust.

"Thank you for listening, Magnemite." Mike said as he was slightly tearing up.

"Thanks, Mike.. Hmm. Hah, You're enjoyable." Magnemite said as he hugged him which caused Magnemite to smile.

"Thanks, Magnemite. You're cool too." Alex said as he knew it was cool.

"Hmmph. I like you." Dunsparce said as he went over to Mike and hugged him.

"Aw. You're cool. But you got to go back, I wish I would keep you. You're nice and cool to have." Mike said as he knew he could not keep Alex's Dunsparce... or could he at all?

"Yeah.. Good luck..." Dunsparce muttered out as he went back to his trainer.

"Dunsparce, Do you want to go with Mike? I know you'll live better with him." Alex said as he made a choice for the trainer which seemed slightly hesitant but worth the offer which shocked the group a bit.

"Alex! What are you doing?" Ash exclaimed, he couldn't believe what he heard.

"The right thing. Well, Dunsparce?" Alex said as he knew this was the right thing, right?

"Alright. Thank you." Dunsparce said as Alex took a little hug and looked at Mike.

"I will take care of Magnemite for you from here on out." Alex said as he promised.

"You will? Thank you!" Mike said as he was now very excited to hear it.

"Well, are you ready for this?" Alex asked as he got Dunsparce's Poke Ball out as was ready for the trade.

"Yeah, I know that Magnemite will work for you. And thank you once again for helping me with Magnemite's feelings. I promise you to take care of Dunsparce for you very well." Mike said as he had Magnemite's Poke Ball out as he knew Magnemite was in good hands from Alex as he also promised to help out Dunsparce.

"All right, let's do it." Alex said as they placed their perspective Poke Ball on the machine.

"..." Soon. The trade between Magnemite and Dunsparce was under way and so, both trainers had their own Pokemon. Alex had the new member for Magnemite. And Mike has Alex's member of Dunsparce.

"Welcome to the team, Magnemite!" Alex said as he showed Magnemite out of his Poke Ball.

"And welcome to the tean, Dunsparce." Mike said as he had Alex's Dunsparce, soon the group began to leave a few moments later.

"Good bye, Mike!" Ash said as the group waved goodbye to him once the sun was setting.

"Take care of Dunsparce for us!" Bonnie called out to Mike.

"Bye-bye!" Serena said as Mike was waving goodbye to the group.

"Good luck, Mike! Well. Let's continue our journey!" Alex said as they all parted ways once and for all.

And so, with the festival being over and Alex gaining a new partner in Magnemite. He has let go of his Dunsparce with Magnemite being by his side. As the journey toward Cyllage City continues!
