Our Heroes are continuing their journey through the Kalos Region. After witnessing a riveting battle between Grant and Viola at the Battle Chateau, and finding out that Grant is the Cyllage City gym leader, Ash and Alex both know they have to have their work cut out for them.
"Alright, Froakie. Water Pulse! Fletchling, Double team!" Ash said as he was at the Pokemon Center battlefield with his Froakie and Fletchling facing off against Alex's Magnemite and Pidgey to train for their next gym battle.
"Water Pulse!" Froakie said as he charged up a water pulse while Fletchling was in the air.
"Double Team!" Fletchling said as he made copies of himself while Froakie as in the air as it fired off water Pulse.
"Okay. Magnemite, Thundershock all the fakes, Pidgey, fly and use Double Team then!" Alex
"Double Team! Double Team!" Pidgey said as he began to mimic the strategy of Ash's and made fake copies of himself in the air.
"Thunder Shoccckk!" Magnemite said as he used thunder shock on all the fake fletchlings which got rid of all of them without a problem.
"Mmph!" Froakie said as he got out of the way from Thunder Shock
"Gah!" Fletchling said as he got barely clipped by Magnemite's thunder shock.
"Hmph, Missed!" Fletchling said as he was able to come out of the real one as the thunder shock only got rid of the copies that Fletchling had.
"Wow, Fletchling! Your Double Team timing was perfect!" Ash said as he was amazed with fletchling, looking up in the sky.
"Thanks!" Fletchling said happily to Ash.
"Interesting. Okay, Magnet Bomb!" Alex said as he was looking up and then having a way to knock them down.
"Froakie, Use Bubble!" Ash said as he fired off a strong bubble to Pidgey.
"Bubble!" Froakie said as he took a deep breath and fired off a bubble.
"Magnet Bomb!" Magnemite said as he counter-attacked with Magnet bomb, both moves clashed but Magnemite's attack overpowered bubble.
"Whoa!" Froakie said as he managed to dodge the Manget Bomb.
"Huh!? Gaahk!" Fletchling said as he was surprised that Magnet Bomb came and collected him.
"Now, Dive down and use Peck!" Alex said as he had another chance to strike.
"Peck!" Pidgey said as he dove from the sky and right toward Fletchling.
"Oof! Brrhhh! Aah!" Fletchling cried out as it was hit but managed to stay on it's legs when it nearly got to the ground.
"Hmph, How about it?" Pidgey said as he got back in the air and hovered over Fletchling
"Yeah, just like that!" Ash said as he was impressed with how they trained hard.
"How about me?" Fletchling said as he looked at Ash with delight, froakie turned his head toward Ash also.
"You were great Froakie, And you too, Fletchling." Ash said as he was proud of his Pokemon.
"Those Pokemon are sure looking good." Alexa's voice said as this got the group's attention on who they heard.
"Huh?" The group coughed out before Ash reconginzed who it was as she approached them all.
"Alexa!" Ash cried out, it was the journalist from before!
"Good to see you all, it's been a while." Alexa said as she had her hands on her hips with a smile.

EPISODE 25: Coming Back Into The Cold! (Ash)
EPISODE 25: The Cold Aura of Amaura! (Alex)
"You all look well." Alexa said as she noticed the group was looking very good today.
"Thanks!" Ash said as he was happy Alexa was here with them.
"Thank you." Alex said as he bowed.
"So, you decided to travel along with Ash as well, I see." Alexa said as she noticed Serena had stuck with the group.
"Yeah. It's more of a friendship thingy." Alex said as Serena looked at Alex and nodded.
"Right, And so much has happened since I made that choice." Serena explained as she was happy to stick with the group.
"She's our friend, Now." Alex said as he told Alexa about Serena and such.
"I can imagine. Hey, I noticed you have a Magnemite, where did you get it?" Alexa said as she noticed Alex's Magnemite so she had to ask them.
"The Ambrette Trade Festival. It did cost me Dunsparce but Magnemite is the only chance I have is to on beating Grant due to his type." Alex said as he told her about their trade festival and what he did.
"The Festival, huh? Well. That was a great place for me on writing a story there." Alexa said as she knew about the festival and she was there for the festival but didn't see the group.
"Humph, Hey!" Helioptile said as he got off Alexa's shoulder and met up with Pikachu.
"Hello, Helioptile." Pikachu said as Helioptile and Pikachu were happy to see each other, Magnemite floated down to let Helioptile get it's attention.
"Hmm." Magnemite muttered out slightly.
"Huh, Touch." Dedenne said as he looked over and poked Helioptile in the tail.
"ACK! HISS!" Helioptile cried out as it hid beside Pikachu and used it's ears to scare off Dedenne.
"WAH!" Dedenne cried out as he fell on his back, Pikachu got him back on his legs.
"Hahah!" Dedenne, Pikachu chuckled with Magnemite being in joy of what was happening.
"So, Alexa, what brings you here, anyways?" Ash asked the journalist on what she was doing.
"You saw Viola at the Battle Chateau, right?" Alexa asked, wondering if they met her there. The group nodded.
"Yeah, everyone knows how strong Viola is. But she still lost to Grant." Ash said as she told Alexa about Viola but she sadly lost with them having a flashback to Surskit fainting to Onix.
"That wasn't easy for her. Poor Dear! She does not like loseing one bit. Then, Viola told me that your next stop was going to be the Cyllage City Gym, I needed to come this way to do some research for an article i've been working on and I was hoping to bump into you, and so.. Voila. Here I am!" Alexa said as she felt bad for Viola and had to find the group as she wanted to meet the group for her next article.
"What kind of article?" Clemont asked, what was Alexa's next article?
"I'm writing about the Fossil Lab." Alexa said as se explained what she was doing.
"So what's the fossil lab?" Ash asked as this got Clemont's attention very much.
"The Fossil Lab in Ambrette Town is a very famous facility!" Clemont explained as he told them about the Fossil Lab in Ambrette Town.
"What kind of place is a fossil lab, anway?" Bonnie asked to her brother.
"Isn't it where they restore pokemon that vanished years ago?" Alex asked which got Clemont's attention.
"Yes, It's a place where researchers study the fossils of Pokemon from ancient times those years ago, Their goals is to learn as much as they can about how Pokemon lived then." Clemont explained well as he told them about how they wanted to restore the Pokemon from years ago.
"That sounds complicated." Bonnie said as she felt bothered by it.
"Well, Restoring them does seem like fun." Alex said as he thinks it was a lot of fun.
"Recently, the researchers made a big discovery! And that's what I'm writing my article about!" Alexa said as she told them that researchers had found something.
"Big discovery?! I wonder what it is!" Ash asked, he was amazed on hearing it.
"What discovery?" Pikachu asked as he got on Ash's shoulder with his ears perked up.
"Aren't Fossils normally Pokemon that are brought back to our world?" Alex said as he asked the journalist.
"I know! Why not come with me if you like? You'll be astounded!" Alexa said as she had an idea and decided to let the group come with her.
"Come on!" Helioptile said excitingly in joy.
"That'd be great!" Ash said as he was so in!
"I'll go!" Alex exclaimed as he was wanting to join in.
"Going there would be such a treat!" Clemont said as he knew if they got there, it would be fun.
"I'll join!" Pikachu said as he was excited.
"But, aren't fossils like bones and rocks and stuff? I don't think I get the appeal." Serena asked as she seemed way lost but Clemont retorted to her.
"You can't be serious, can you?" Clemont retorted to Serena.
"Huh?" Serena said as Clemont was getting over her.
"Don't you see?! Fossils are filled with fun, not to mention science!" Clemont said as he began to tower serena excitingly with what he had wanted to see and mention.
"Oh... great." Serena said as she felt pressured so she elected to go.
"So, it's morely fossils bringing Pokemon back to life and you can witness it live in person!" Alex said as he wanted to be there in person for life and wanting to see it.
Transition: Fossil Lab
"Welcome to the fossil lab, everyone. My name is thaddeus and i'm a researcher here." Thaddeus said as Alexa led the group to the fossil research lab where they met a researcher in a white coat with glasses.
"I'm Alexa. And i'm writing the article. It's a pleasure to meet you." Alexa said as she told her the article and bowed.
"It's a pleasure to meet you." The group said as they bowed together in a respectful way.
"The pleasure's mine. Right this way, please." Thaddeus said as he let the group in, out from nearby bushes was team rocket who was spying on them.
"Well, Well, Fossil Lab. That discovery talk sounds interesting." Jessie said as they listened in.
"If it happens to be a discovery concerning Pokemon." James said as they could have something in store.
"Of course! Then it'll help us put Team Rocket on the top of the heap!" Meowth said as this would work and put them on top if it works.
"Let's spy on them." Jessie said as they got a small box with a propeller on top to make it a secret spy camera and entered in just as the doors closed to spy.
Inside the Fossil Lab
"Wow! Look at that! These are all fossils of Pokemon who lived in ancient times!" Clemont said as he was looking at lots of fossil that looked like Pokemon as he was astounded too see.
"So awesome! I can't believe they found so many fossils!" Ash said as he was astounded to see so many fossils being found.
"It's pretty cool." Pikachu said excitingly.
"Wow, many fossil Pokemon lived through the times before darkness and they went extinct, they all lived happily." Alex said as he looked at the fossil pokemon and the picture above it to see the matching Pokemon.
"Look! Those sure are huge bones, aren't they, Dedenne?" Bonnie said as she looked up to see the many bones that resembled somewhat of a Pokemon as she looked down at Dedenne.
"Yeah, Yikes!" Dedenne said as he peeked out of the bag.
"Hmm, they just look like regular rocks to me. What's so great about them?" Serena said as she observed the rocks but she looked puzzled and lost.
"Is the big discovery of the things in here?" Ash asked to the journalist which she shook her head.
"No, it's even more amazing. Just wait and see." Alexa said as she wanted to keep it a secret.
"You'll enjoy it!" Helioptile said as he was more excited to go to it.
"I guess it's more of a surprise." Alex said as he wondered if it was a surprise.
"Now, before I take you into the next room, please put on this cold weather gear." Thaddeus said as he toured the group before heading to a locker and gave them one of each a yellow jacket that was for cold weather.
"Cold weather gear?" Ash said as he was puzzled to see them.
"What for?" Pikachu said as everyone wore the cold weather jacket gear.
A Cold Circled Dome
"Brrr! Cold!" Ash shivered as he had his hands rubbing against himself, being cold.
"What, what is this place?" Serena asked as her air was being shown from the cold.
"It's like a gigantic freezer in here!" Clemont said as he was slowly feeling the cold.
"Freezer?! Dedenne, you okay?" Bonnie exclaimed as she looked down.
"Huh? Aah.. Achoo!" Dedenne muttered as he then sneezed which got him coold.
"Wow.. it feels like we hit the cold part of the earth up here! Turn up the heat." Alex said as he wanted the temperature to get higher since it was cold as heck in here!
"Sorry, we've set the room temperature for the comfort of the Pokemon in here." Thaddeus said as he denied Alex's request which caused him to sigh.
"Haha, Whoa.. Omph!" Ash said as he was having fun before he slipped. A few four legs slowly appeared as a Pokemon walked over to see Ash.
"Huh?" Ash muttered out as Pikachu got off him.
"Huh? Look at that!" Pikachu said as the Pokemon had a happy small neck as it smiled on seeing Ash for the first time.
"Hmmhmm." The Pokemon chuckled happily as it put it's cold head on Ash's neck which got Ash's attention.
"Aah! Cold!" Ash cried out as he felt very cold around the neck.
"Uh.." Alex stuttered as Ash finally snapped from laying on the ground.
"Bwaaah! What is that?!" Ash cried out as he got up and pointed at Amaura.
"Hi!" The Pokemon exclaimed happily as Ash looked confused.
"Who's that Pokemon?" Ash said as he wondered what it was.
"It's so brand new, I've never seen it before!" Alex said as he was slowly observing it.
"Wow! An Amaura!" Clemont exclaimed as he knew what it was.
"Hmm?" Ash muttered as he looked at Clemont, what did he mean by it?
"It's a Pokemon from long ago, belive to live in the frozen area of the Kalos Region! Way, Way up north!" Clemont said as he explained about Amaura was a Pokemon used to be in the north of Kalos.
"Wow, Up north? I guess it's a frozen home to be alive." Alex said as he was amazed that it was being up in the north was amazing.
"You're well quite informed, Yes, It's an Amaura. These Pokemon have been exctinct since long, long ago." Thaddeus said as sudden footsteps were heard. Causing the ground to slightly shake with snow.
"Wow, Fossil Pokemon..." Alex said as Serena was alarmed from the noise.
"Ah, What?! What was that?!" Serena exclaimed as she was alarmed to feel the shaking where the four legged Pokemon towered over Amaura with cold air.
"Mama?" The Amaura stuttered as it turned it's head to see a bigger, different version of Amaura.
"Aaaaooooohhh!" The New Pokemon cried out as Thaddeus knew what it was.
"And this is Amaura's evolved form, Aurourus." Thaddeus explained, telling them about the evolution of Amaura.
"Wow, it's huge!" Bonnie exclaimed, seeing how big it was.
"Wow!" Dedenne said as he was amazed to see one.
"Amaura and Aurorus. They're alive!" Clemont said as he was amazed to see fossil Pokemon.
"This must be the big discovery! Not fossils, but real living Pokemon!" Serena said as this was a big discovery for them as it was fossil pokemon.
"That's right! I wanted to do some reporting on them." Alexa said as she told them the truth
"Hello." Helioptile said as he looked out and waved at Aurorus.
"The size of them is cute for one thing, but then the evolved form is really big. It's like it's mother!" Alex exclaimed as he was amazed on seeing the size of them.
"Our fossil lab sent out an excativing group that discovered something in a glacier far to the north." Thaddeus said as he told the group about the findings of Amaura and Aurorus.
"What? That's cool!" Alex exclaimed as he was amazed to hear this.
"And what we restored from the frozen sail fossil is what you see now in front of you." Thaddeus said as he told the group about the way they restored the Pokemon.
"Incredible! Being able to see a living Amaura and Aurorus with my very own eyes!" Clemont said as he was amazed seeing fossiled Pokemon in person that were alived now.
"It really is amazing, Pokemon frozen up in the north have been brought here to be saved and live another few years." Alex said as he was amazed seeing that the ancient pokemon were in real times.
"Hmm, Aah.." Amaura said as he walked to Ash and hugged it's neck to Ash.
"Haha.. do you wanna play, Amaura?" Ash asked as he was curious if they want to play.
"Yes!" Amaura cried out happily.
"Me too, Me too!" Bonnie said excitingly, she wanted to join.
"You see, they lived in an area with very few enemies and as a result, they are very trusting and friendly." Thaddeus said as they knew the cold area was not very targetted which meant not many enemies.
"Yeah, I can tell." Ash said as it was amazed that it wasn't a mean pokemon.
"But they are cold." Alex said as it was a cold place so it's not common for Pokemon to have enemies in the cold.
"Of course you couldn't have known that just by looking at a fossil." Clemont said as he knew the Pokemon were able to be observed.
"Right. And because were able to observe Amaura and Aurorus like this, we may learn a lot more about other ancient Pokemon." Thaddeus said as he wanted to know that the more they observed the two then they could learn a lot of the ancient Pokemon.
"I want a hug too!" Serena said as she wanted to hug the Pokemon.
"Hmhm." Amaura said as she let Serena hug it.
"Aw, so cute!" Serena said as she didn't feel cold but was happy.
"May I get a hug as well?" Clemont asked as Amaura wanted more hugs.
"Hug? Ok!" Amaura said as she put her neck around Clemont's neck which caused him to chuckle happily.
"Hahah! This is absolutely incredible!" Clemont chuckled as he was amazed.
"Thaddeus? Can you tell us some of the things that you've learned so far from this discovery?" Alexa asked with her headset camera focusing in on Thaddeus' research and discovery.
"I'd be happy too!" Thaddeus said as Team Rocket's Spy camera was listening to everything.
Transition: Outside the Fossil Lab
"A restored ancient pokemon, eh?" James said as he was intrigued to hear.
"Now that would be handy to have on hand." Jessie said as they could get it.
"Here's the deal! Amaura and Aurous, we'll steal them both!" Meowth said as he put his paws out and mushed them together in a double steal, the other members smirked and nodded.
Transition: Back Inside the Cold Dome
"Haaa! Oof, huh?" Amaura chuckled happily before it was met with snowballs in the face.
"Hah!" The group chuckled to Amaura as they were having fun.
"Come here!" Amaura happily said as it chased the three of them with Alex watching, Serena began to feel cold.
"Brrr.. I feel frozen, it's so cold." Serena shivered coldly as she was feeling the cold now, she was shivered.
"Really?" Ash said as he looked at Serena, being unsure if Serena was cold.
"Yeah." Serena said but Ash felt more energized.
"Well not me! I'm warm as toast!" Ash exclaimed as he felt warm and not cold at any bit.
"Me too!" Pikachu said as he was warm and not cold.
"Of course, he's been running like crazy." Serena sighed slightly with a chuckle, knowing ash well.
"I'm not surprised your cold. We've been in here for a while." Alexa said as she knew they were cold for how long they've been inside.
"Yeah." Helioptile muttered as it hid in Alexa's jacket to keep warm.
"I'm cold I feel like my fingers stopped moving." Alex said as he was right with Serena, he couldn't move a single finger at all!
"Lets head out and warm up, okay?" Alexa said to the group, Bonnie didn't want to though.
"Aw! But I still wanna play with Amaura!" Bonnie cried out as she wanted to keep playing still.
"You've got to think about Dedenne, we have to make sure it doesn't catch a cold." Clemont said as he told Bonnie as he knew that Dedenne would get a cold and be sick, so Bonnie knew that it was not about herself.
"Amaura, we've gotta go. But we'll be back!" Bonnie said as she told them to come back.
"Don't leave." Amaura cried out as she wanted them to come back.
"Sorry!" Ash said as Amaura was sad.
"Aw." Amaura sadly moaned as the group left, team rocket's machine knew they were not there anymore and made their move.
Transition: Outside Fossil Lab
"The twerps have flown the coop." James said as they had left their bushes and headed to the doors.
"The doors to success!" Jessie said as they approached the doors.
"Open 'em!" Meowth said as James got the machine ready which fired a blue lazer at the entrance door where Amaura and Aurorus lived in which caused it to slowly break open and inside they went to the cold biome dome as they were ready and infiltrated in.
"Brrr..." James and Meowth shivered as they were cold cause they had no winter jackets to keep themselves warm.
"My whisker's froze!" Meowth cried out as Jessie was inside with them but she didn't care if she was cold.
"Whatever... let's keep moving." Jessie sarcastically called out as they needed to move.
"Amaura? Where are you...?" Jessie said as she looked for the Amaura and then saw her.
"... There you are!" Jessie cried out excitingly seeing Amaura all alone..
"Amaura, darling... It's no fun playing by yourself, isn't it?" Jessie said as she tried to lure Amaura with her tone.
"Huh? Ooh!" Amaura said as he was interested to hear.
"I'll be your new playmate!" Jessie said as she fakingly made a promise.
"Over here!" James said as Amaura followed them, unknowning what was happening.
"Can't catch me! Come and see!" Meowth said as he tried to get it's attention clearly.
"Here." Jessie said as she let them into the truck.
"Bada-bing!" Meowth said as he let them hit the button.
"Huh?" Amaura said as the gates came down like a trapped gate.
"Ka-ching!" James said as they got one.
"My baby..!" Aurorus cried out as the three of them realized they were missing something.
"Hold on... We need Aurorus, too!" Jessie said as they needed the evolved form of it.
"We've got work to do! Where is it? Aurorus?" Meowth said as they went back inside and began to look for Aurorus, where it's shadow towered over them.
"There!" Meowth said as they were looking up to see Aurorus in their faces.
"You..." Aurorus angrily muttered out, seeing them.
"Chill! It's cool. We'll take you to a place where life is beautiful all the time. You come along with us and we'll play and play and play and play and play." Meowth said as he lied to a promise they were good guys and repeat the same thing.
"Play...?" Aurorus sputtered out, unknown what they were doing.
"You can trust us. Look in these honest eyes." James said as he tried to trick the Aurorus.
"No lies." Meowth said as they tried to move to the back legs.
"Hmph." Aurorus muttered as it didn't budge at all as the two tried to make it move.
"Be a good Pokemon and put one foot in front of the other." Meowth grunted as they failed to get it to slightly move at all.
"Pretty please?" James grunted out as Jessie wanted them to hurry.
"Can we wrap it up in this century?" Jessie asked as James and Meowth tried to move it.
"I'd like nothing more than to move while I'm still young!" James exclaimed as they wanted Jessie to help at least.
"But this big brute won't budge!" Meowth explained and telling them that Aurorus would not move.
"Mama! Ma!" Amaura cried out, calling out to Aurorus.
"My baby!" Aurorus cried out as it stomped it's feet to alarm the staff of what was wrong, causing James and Meowth to panic.
"Keep it down! If you don't cease and desist, you'll attract the wrong element!" James
"Aurorus!" A Person shouted as they came through the door.
"Hey, who are you?" A second man shouted which got their attention.
"The jig is up!" Meowth said as their plan had been buster.
"Run!" James cried out as they fled the scene.
"Oh well, We got Amaura. Let's get out of here." Jessie said the other two boarded inside the truck.
"Ten-four!" James and Meowth said as they stepped on the pedal and got out of there.
"Stop! Who are you!?" The Staff shouted as team rocket got away.
"Mama!" Amaura cried out as the staff tried to stop Aurorus from escaping and chasing after them wildly.
"Calm down! You've to stay right here!" The Staff said as they attempted to push back Aurorus from escaping since it can put itself in harm and danger.
"My baby...!" Aurorus angrily rebelled as it tried to move out of it's dome and get Amaura back.
"What's going on?" Ash said as the group arrived to see what was going on.
"It's terrible! Some strange people just carried off Amaura in a truck." The Staff explained as they told the group what happened to Amaura.
"They did..?" Ash said as they were shocked to see what was going on.
"No.." Clemont stuttered out, this couldn't be true!
"They what!?" Pikachu said as he was shocked.
"Amaura..." Serena stuttered out as she was shaken to hear this.
"The Poor Pokemon." Alex said as he felt bad for the Pokemon.
"Oh no, We've got to recover Amaura right away, or else..." Thaddeus said as they had to help Amaura and recover it.
"What do you mean or else..?" Alexa asked, what would Thaddeus mean?
"Amaura can't handle warm temperatures. For a short time, it can help keep its body temperature down by producing it's own cold air. But if Amaura's in a warm place for too long..." Thaddeus explained as Amaura would not like warm temperatures since it would be bad for it.
"If that happens, then what?" Ash said, wondering what would happen.
"Amaura will keep on getting weaker, it's in big trouble!" Thaddeus said as he told them about Amaura and it's condition.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's find it and rescue it!" Alex said as he knew what to do.
"Yeah! We've got to save it! We've got to!" Bonnie chimed in with Alex, knowing saving it was the only option.
"Oh, but we have no idea which way they went." Thaddeus said as they didn't know where to go or start.
Meanwhile. With Team Rocket
"Mama!" Amaura cried out as it's little waves on the head glowed and caused something.
With our Heroes.
"My baby! I'm coming!" Aurorus
"Calm down! Please!" The Staff said as Aurorus pushed right through them and escaped it's biome where it was calling out to it's baby.
"Whoa!" Alex cried out as the group got away from it a few feet.
"Aurorus! What's wrong?!" Ash exclaimed, wanting to know what was up with it?
"Give her back!" Aurorus cried out as the sails on it's head glowed also.
"Look at that!" Alex said as he pointed up to see an aurora was in the sky.
"What's that?" Bonnie said as she noticed it.
"An aurora!" Alexa said as she knew what the thing was.
"Amaura's creating that...!" Thaddeus said as he realized Amaura created it.
"Huh?" Ash said as they all saw the aurora.
"Amaura what? How?" Alex said as he wondered how it was possible.
"When Amaura cries, it affects the magnetic waves in the upper atmosphere and an aurora appears." Thaddeus explained as he knew Amaura created something to get the attention.
"So that means Amaura is somewhere over in this direction of the aurora, correct?" Clemont said as he knew that the aurora could mean something.
"Correct." Thaddeus said as he knew that was right.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's follow the aurora!" Alex said as he knew this would help out aurorus.
"Orraagh!" Aurorus cried out as it began to walk towards the aurora.
"Aurorus!" Thaddeus cried out as they watched it head off.
"Aurorus knows Amaura needs help!" Serena said as she knew Aurorus needed Amaura so bad.
"But it's too dangerous!" Thaddeus exclaimed, what if Aurorus got hurt?
"We'll go with Aurorus, too. We've got to do something, quick." Ash said as they knew they had to help out the Pokemon.
"Yeah. We'll follow and keep it in check!" Alex said as they knew they had to at least check.
"Right! We've got to save Amaura!" Ash said as they had to help as Ash looked at the group.
"Right!" Serena said, nodding her head.
"Right!" Clemont said, chiming in.
"Okay!" Bonnie said as they all chased Aurorus.
"He's right, let's go along with Aurorus!" Alexa said as she had to come along with the group.
"Right away!" Helioptile said to her.
"When we find Amaura, we'll need help to bring them back, so be ready!" Alexa said as she began to follow the group.
"Will do!" Thaddeus said as he knew he had to get ready to help.
Meanwhile with Team Rocket, At sunset
"We've got Amaura, and we're feeling fine." James said as Amaura was letting out cold air for herself.
"Once we put this ancient Pokemon safely in Boss' hands, we'll certainly be on his A-list!" Jessie said as this was working out well.
"Nyeeaachooo!" Meowth sneezed from the cold air.
"Cover your mouth." Jessie said as she looked at Meowth.
"It's kind of chilly in here." Meowth said as he realized how cold it was.
"It is, now that you mentioned it..." James said as he had a runny nose also.
"Oh, grow up!" Jessie said as she pushed the button, causing more warm air to come in.
"Toasty!" Jessie said happily as Amaura was getting weak.
"Huh..? Mama.." Amaura groaned out as it's cold air was no more.
Meanwhile, Back with our heroes and Aurorus.
"Aurorus, what's up?" Ash asked as the group continued to follow the Pokemon before it suddenly stopped, giving ash a question to ask.
"Is something the matter?" Pikachu asked in wonder.
"What's happening to the aurora?" Serena said as she noticed the aurora was fading.
"It's disappearing!" Bonnie exclaimed, seeing it slowly disappear.
"What does that mean?" Ash said as he didn't know what it meant.
"And what can we do?!" Alex asked in worry.
"Since the aurora is produced from Amaura's cries, it can't mean anything good." Clemont said as he knew this was bad.
"Without the cold, something bad might be happening." Alexa said as she wondered what could happen.
"Don't worry Aurorus, we'll get Amaura back safely, no doubt." Ash said as he put a hand on Aurorus as a promise.
"Count on us." Pikachu said as Aurorus looked down at ash and nodded.
Meanwhile, With Team Rocket at Nighttime.
"..." Team Rocket continued their drive when on the tires popped which caused the truck to skid to a sudden stop.
"Hey... something's screwy.." Meowth said.
"Equipment problems." Jessie said as they had something wrong.
"Like what?" James asked as he wondered which ones.
"Let's take a look." Jessie said as they decided to peek.
"..." Amaura was sleeping and was weak from the hot and warm air.
"Aw, we got a flat." Meowth said as he realized they got a flat tire.
"So? We change it." James said as Jessie didn't feel like it.
"Right. Chop, Chop!" Jessie said as she barked orders.
Back with our heroes.
"..." The group had arrived at a riverbank where it was flowing, seemingly with nowhere else to go.
"The road stops here..." Alexa said as she knew it stopped here.
"But which way did the truck go?" Ash asked as he wondered what now.
"We got to find Amaura." Bonnie said, knowing they had to move.
"Hmph, let's try to make a bridge with cutting down trees." Alex said as he thought of an idea to get past it.
"Oaahh!" Aurorus called out, in hope of getting Amaura to hear it.
"Aurorus!" Serena said as she looked at Aurorus.
"What is it?!" Ash asked to the fossil pokemon.
"Amaaurrraaa!" Aurorus called out to Amaura.
"Ma..." Amaura weakly spouted out as it opened its eye.
"Amaaurrraa!" Aurorus called out again.
"It's calling out to Amaura." Alexa explained to the group.
"I wonder if Amaura hears Aurorus." Bonnie said as a hopeful prayer.
"We can only hope that it's loud enough." Clemont said, hopefully.
"It has to be!" Serena exclaimed.
"Amaura!" Ash called out to Amaura.
"Hear her!" Pikachu said.
"Amauraaa!" Aurorus called out again.
"Mama?" Amaura said weakly more.
"Amaura, please answer!" Ash said as a plea.
"Do something!" Pikachu asked out for Amaura.
"Amaaurraa!" Aurorus cried out to it's baby.
"Mpgh... Mama..!" Amaura muttered out as the waves on the head created another aurora which got Aurorus's head to see it.
"Over there!" Aurorus said as the aurora was back.
"Look, the aurora is back!" Serena said as she saw it.
"Amaura must have heard your voice. But it's across the river." Ash said as they realized they had to cross it.
"Clemont, Do you have any inventions that can cross rivers?" Alex asked to the science gym leader.
"Maybe, but-" Clemont said before he could finish.
"Aourraaa!" Aurorus cried out as the group moved out of the way and the river was solid frozen in no time!
"Wow! Look at that!" Alex said as he saw what Aurorus did!
"Aurorus froze the whole river!" Serena exclaimed, they had a way to cross now!
"Way to go, Aurorus!" Ash exclaimed. The group made it across the frozen river.
"Come on!" Alex said, hoping everyone to move along.
"Mama... mmph." Amaura called out before curling up again.
"The aurora's fading!" Serena exclaimed as she saw the aurora fading away.
"Come on! Pick up the speed! Everyone, COME ON CLEMONT!" Alex shouted as he yelled at Clemont to hurry.
"Yeah.. I know, but Amaura's got to be close by." Clemont weakly groaned out as he wasn't fast.
".." The group ran by trees and bushes to finally catch up to Team Rocket who were repairing the truck as the group confronted them.
"Alright, you've got to be the ones who stole Amaura!" Ash exclaimed as he confronted Team Rocket.
"Team Rocket! Of course!" Alex said as Team rocket did their motto and which they known it was time.
"Team Rocket, I should've known you'd do something like this!" Ash said as he knew it was them.
"Give us back Amaura!" Serena demanded, knowing Amaura needed to be safe.
"Dream on, twerpette! Amaura's a very precious restored ancient Pokemon." Jessie snapped, knowing this was theirs.
"One that will put us to good use." James said.
"I won't let you!" Ash said as he had one of his hands into a fist.
"It's on!" Pikachu said as he was ready to go.
"Then let's see what you've got, young twerp." Jessie said, demanding to come at them.
"Come on!" Wobbuffet said as he got out there.
"Ash! We've got to hurry! Let's do this fast!" Clemont said to Ash, which he nodded.
"Only in your dreams!" James exclaimed as Clemont got Chespin's Poke Ball out.
"Alright, Chespin, let's go!" Clemont said as he tossed it, hoping for battle.
"Magnemite! Show them! Go!" Alex said as he wanted to introduce his buddy to team rocket.
"Hmph!" Chespin said as he was ready to go.
"Grrzz!" Magnemite said as he was mad.
"Okay, Inkay. Out!" James said as he tossed out Inkay's Poke Ball to go.
"Grroaah!" Inkay said as it was out to battle.
"Use Pin Missile!" Clemont said as he commanded for a move.
"Pin Missile!" Chespin said as it fired a quick Pin Missile at Inkay.
"Brrroaagh!" Inkay cried out as it was hit.
"Come on.. Quietly.." Alexa whispered with Bonnie to the back of the truck with Serena following but Meowth got in their way.
"Oh no, you don't!" Meowth said, getting in their way.
"Out of our way! We don't have the time, Fennekin! Let's go!" Serena said as she shouted at Meowth and summoned her Fennekin to come and battle/
"Hrmph! You again!" Fennekin said as Meowth smirked.
"All right, Hidden Power!" Serena said to go.
"Hidden Power!" Fennekin said as she fired off hidden Power toward Meowth.
"Humph! Heh! Hyah! You and your furball are out of luck!" Meowth shuddered out as it broke the Hidden Power like nothing.
"Magnemite! To your right! Gastly! Go!" Alex said as he made a flank move, then summoned Gastly.
"Hmph!" Gastly said as he got ready to battle.
"Alright! Let's see a good ol' fury swipes!" Meowth said as he charged toward Fennekin with Fury Swipes, hoping to ruin her fur.
"Look out!" Serena called out.
"Hmph!" Fennekin said as she was ready to defend herself but.
"IN your own dreams!" Magnemite said as he got in the way of Fennekin, taking the hits himself.
"Nyeh! Nyah! AH! My claws are broken like toothpicks!" Meowth said as he was trying to slash through Magnemite but his claws were broken like nothing had happened.
"Now! take this!" Magnemite said as he charged and grabbed Meowth by it's Magnet and lifted him in the air.
"Hey! Let me down you hunk of metal! Uh oh.." Meowth said as he looked down as Magnemite angrily glared and attacked on his own.
"Thunder Shock!" Magnemite shouted as Meowth was shocked badly as he cried out in mercy.
"Now that's a magnet full of shocks i must say..." Meowth groaned out weakly as he was shocked badly.
"Hmph! One more for good measure!" Magnemite said as he got Meowth out of it's magnet hands and slammed it down with him, knocking him to the ground.
"Give it up. I ain't done!" Meowth guttered out as he was badly weak but he wasn't out yet.
"You...!" Aurorus said as it towered over Meowth madly.
"Aurorus!" Serena said as she knew Aurorus was mad.
"Blizzzard!" Aurorus said as she froze Meowth like nothing had happened.
"Ah, Amaura! Ash, It's in here!" Bonnie said as she got the attention for Ash.
"Hurry! Before it's too late!" Alexa exclaimed as Alex put his arm in front of Ash.
"Ash, Go. I got this." Alex said as Ash nodded, he looked at his partner.
"Alright, let's go Pikachu!" Ash said as he let Pikachu help alex.
"Right!" Pikachu said as Ash hurried over to Alexa and bonnie while Alex had Pikachu out in front.
"I can do this! Thunderbolt!" Alex said as he used Ash's Pikachu to command him.
"Thunder..." Pikachu said as he got ready for thunderbolt.
"Wobbuffet! And action!" Jessie said as she used Wobbuffet.
"Mirrorrr Coat!" Wobbuffet said as he managed to absorb and reflect the thunderbolt to Pikachu and Alex..
"Look out!" Ash called out as Alex prepared for it, but Aurorus got in his path instead.
"Hmph! Missst!" Aurorus said as it made a misty cold wall to block off the reflected thunderbolt.
"Aurorus!" Ash exclaimed as Alex gasped in amazement, Aurorus took the block for him.
"Now it moves!" Jessie cried out as this thing really got in the way.
"Oh, not good!" Wobbuffet stuttered out as he knew this was bad.
"Give them pain! Aurorus!" Alex said as the time for Aurorus to show payback was in order.
"Bliizzarrddd!" Aurorus shouted as it fired off a blizzard and froze team rocket in one icy seal like nothing.
"I need a blankie..." Meowth cuddered in the ice cold.
"Too coollld." Wobbuffet shivered out.
"Thank you, Aurorus!" Ash said to Aurorus.
"You really saved me, thanks!" Alex said as he was happy that Aurorus helped him.
"Hmph, you're welcome." Aurorus said as it nodded, then focused back on Team Rocket.
"Alright, Pikachu! Use Thunderbolt! Let's go! And Magnemite! Thunder Shock to debut yourself!" Alex said as he made his last two commands to Pikachu and Magnemite for payback.
"Thunderbolllt!" Pikachu said as he fired off Thunderbolt to Team Rocket.
"Thunder Shoccck!" Magnemite said as the two moves combined as one and sent team rocket off into the sky while still in their ice cold seal.
"We're blasting off again...!" Jessie and James cried out inside the ice seal.
"Flash-frozen to boot!" Meowth said as they were frozen and gone.
"Why to cold!" Wobbuffet said as they were long gone.
"Hang in there, Amaura." Bonnie said as the group focused their attention back on Amaura to let them escape the truck.
"hmm...mmph.. ah.." Amaura weakly got out of the truck and fell off it's four legs.
"Ah!" The girls cried out as Amaura was too weak.
"Amaura's temperature gotten to much high!" Alexa exclaimed as the temperature was too high.
"Amaura..!" Bonnie called out to the Pokemon.
"Take it easy!" Alex said as he touched amaura.
"Please, hang in there!" Ash said to the Pokemon.
"Amaura!" Pikachu said as Amaura opened it's eyes.
"Momma.." Amaura cried out in a moan.
"Amaura." Serena said as she was worried.
"We've got to get it back to the lab, now!" Alexa exclaimed, knowing they had to get back for the lab to help Aurorus.
"But.. the lab is so far from us, how can we save it?" Alex said as he wondered how.
"Hmmph.." Amaura muttered out as Aurorus knew what to do.
"Move..." Aurorus said as that got the groups attention.
"Aurorus?" Ash said as the group got out of the way.
"What's it going to do?" Clemont asked as Alex knew.
"It's the mother.. hopefully to save the Amaura." Alex said as Aurorus was a shield for Amaura.
"..." Aurorus slept and curled around Amaura when a cold mist surrounded the two Pokemon as they had their eyes closed as Amaura was getting colder. The group felt the small shiver as the Aurorus kept making Amaura cold.
"I see.." Clemont said as he understood what is going on.
"What? Whaaat is it..?" Alex shivered as he looked at Clemont.
"Aurorus is chilling the air to help Amaura cool down." Clemont explained how Aurorus helped Amaura.
"Mama... Mama!" Amaura said as it was back and full of energy.
"Thank goodness. Amaura looks a whole lot better now." Alexa said as she knew Amaura was okay and all better!
"That was great, Aurorus!" Ash said as he thanked Aurorus for it's quick thinking.
"Hero.." Amaura said happily.
"Now, let's hurry and get back to the fossil lab." Alexa said as they should hurry.
"How long should it take?" Alex said as Ash noticed something in the distance.
"Look, a truck!" Ash said as he noticed something.
"Huh?" Alex said as the group realized it was Thaddeus' truck to help Amaura.
"Over here!" Ash called out which got their attention.
"There they are." Thaddeus said as they stopped.
"Right!" The staff said, hoping to help Amaura.
"You're going to be just fine, Amaura." Thaddeus exclaimed as Amaura smiled.
Transition: The Fossil Lab, Next Morning. Cold Biome
"There's the Amaura!" Alex said as they were all wearing winter jackets with Aurorus watching, hoping it's baby would be alright.
"Are you back to feeling great, Amaura?" Ash said as he wondered how it was feeling.
"You look well!" Pikachu exclaimed, seeing it's health.
"Yes!" Amaura cheered happily.
"Amaura's body temperature is back to normal. And we're so glad." Thaddeus said as he walked in with a winter coat with a healthy fine Amaura.
"Wow, that's great! Right buddy?" Ash said as he looked at Pikachu.
"Yeah!" Pikachu exclaimed, Alex looked confused.
"But, if other Ice type pokemon feel okay with the normal temperatures.. why can't Amaura?" Alex asked, he wondered why Amaura hated hot heat.
"The freezing temperatures back in the north have changed. So Amaura doesn't prefer to stay out in those temperatures. But for Aurorus. It creates and stores the cold air." Thaddeus explained to Alex, telling him about Amaura unlike other Pokemon.
"You're all better, yay!" Bonnie cheered in excitement.
"Yahoo!" Dedenne cheered happily.
"Sorry it's been rough." Clemont apologized which Amaura ran past Clemont.
"Mama!" Amaura said as she ran to Aurorus happily.
"Hmm?" Aurorus said looking down.
"I'm happy!" Amaura cheered happily, making Aurorus smile.
"Well, there we go. There a family line." Alex said as it was the Pokemon family line.
"They look so happy." Ash said as he saw them smile.
"Huh? No..!" Pikachu cried out as a joyous tear as Amaura hugged ash with it's neck.
"Huh? Hey, you're freezing!" Ash said as he knew how cold Amaura was.
"Aw, really? I don't see it." Alex said as he smiled happily though.
"Hug..!" Amaura said as it hugged Alex with it's cold neck.
"Hey! Hehe.. That's cute... OH! YOU ARE FREEZING COLD!" Alex said as he hugged Amaura softly before letting go and freaking out on the cold temperature.
"Wow you two, you're so lucky. I really want to get nuzzled too!" Bonnie said as she wanted a nuzzle.
"Nuzzle? Okay!" Amaura said as it hugged with it's neck around Bonnie.
"Haha.. Hey! That's cold!" Bonnie laughed lightly before realizing it.
"mmph. Heroes!" Amaura said happily.
"Hey, me too!" Serena said as Amaura did the same thing.
"Here!" Amaura said as it hugged Serena with it's neck.
"But, oh that is cold! Love it!" Serena shivered a bit before she was in a joyous mood.
"Say, mind if I join in?" Clemont asked to Amaura politely.
"Yeah!" Amaura cheered in as it did the same with Clemont.
"I think it's the perfect time for a snowball fight!" Ash said as he declared something fun!
"All right!" Bonnie said as she was happy.
"Snowballs!" Dedenne said as Amaura dug its face into snow,
"Mmph... Aah!" Amaura said as she tossed a huge pile of snow at Ash, then Alex.
"Wah! Oof!" Alex cried out as he got hit with a bunch of snow.
"Hahah, Oof!" Ash cried out as he was hit, too.
"Hahah!" Amaura chuckled happily.
"Okay, Game on! Nyah!" Alex said as he got the snow from his face and tossed it at Amaura.
"Haha, hmph, oof, hmph!" Amaura chuckled before it was decked with soft snowballs to the face multiple times..
"Hahah..." The group chuckled happily.
"Come here!" Amaura said as it was playfully chasing the group.
"My baby is making real heroic friends..." Aurorus said happily as she knew who was a real true friend and who were villains.
"And so, just as it might have been in ancient times, it's beautiful to see people and Pokemon having fun together. Hmhm, this should be a great article!" Alexa said as she used her camera to watch and record for the best article yet!
"Yeah!" Helioptile said as Alex looked at the journalist.
"I love those two, don't you think so for future articles?" Alex said as he was proud of them for having fun and seeing a Pokemon like Amaura.
"Sure would!" Alexa said as the four heroes were sledding with Amaura with joy as Amaura was hugging Bonnie where they stopped, the others had caught up and accidently rammed into Amaura, as they all were under the snow which made their heads popped out as Aurorus happily watched down from them.
And so, thanks to the bond between the ancient Pokemon Amaura and Aurorus, both Pokemon are safely back at the fossil lab, which is caused by celebration for everyone. It's another memorable adventure, as our heroes journey, continues!
