With our heroes have won the Cliff Badge from Grant, who was the Cyllage City Gym leader. Our heroes have taken a break to join a festival.

"Here we are. They're all ready, Fennekin!" Serena said as she went over to her Pokemon with a Basket and opened it up to show some fluffy kind of Pokemon food.

"Yay!" Fennekin said excitingly as she began to have one from Serena.

"Ooh!" Ash gasped as he was amazed to see one of the treats.

"What are those?" Pikachu said looking from beyond his shoulder.

"These are traditional Pokemon sweet treats. They're called Poke Puffs!" Serena said as she told Ash and Pikachu the way they were called, the new mechanic of Pokemon treats. Poke Puffs!

"Poke Puffs, huh?" Ash said as Pikachu got off and was on the bench.

"Yum!" Pikachu said as he was excited.

"Do you want one, Pikachu?" Serena said as she asked the mouse Pokemon for some treats.

"Sure! I want it!" Pikachu said as Serena took out two Poke Puffs and placed them in front of the Pokemon.

"There you go!" Serena said as she let them enjoy.

"Yum!" Pikachu and Fennekin said as they were digging in and were enjoying themselves to the core of Poke Puffs already!

"Huh? What is this?" Alex said as he came over to see what Ash and Serena were doing.

"They're Poke Puffs! A new Pokemon sweet treat!" Serena said as she told Ash about the new treat which got Alex's attention.

"Well, I done some baking and cooking. Mind if you teach me one day so I can cook it to my family and mother?" Alex said as he knew that maybe he could learn a lot about Poke Puffs if serena taught him.

"Sure!" Serena said which made Alex smile.

"People can eat 'em too, right?" Ash said as he was curious and was looking for one.

"Wait. Ash...!" Alex said as he put his hand in the basket.

"Nom.. Nom. Hmph... mmm..." Ash said as he took one and ate it before he felt like it hit him. He hung his hat low.

"Uh-oh..." Alex said as he realized that wasn't a good sign.

"Ash, what's the matter?" Clemont asked as he wondered what was wrong.

"They're great! That's the yummiest thing i've eaten in my life!" Ash exclaimed as he felt like this was the best thing ever since his mother cooked his favorite meals.

"Please don't scare me like that.." Serena said as she was slightly annoyed ash loved it.

"I want one!" Dedenne said from Bonnie's bag.

"Can Dedenne please have one?" Bonnie asked to Serena. As Ash looked down at Bonnie.

"Sure!" Ash said as the Poke Puff suddenly was taken by a Psychic and taken away by a Pokemon that was Pink with a cherry on top with two legs.

"Ohhh...Nom! Yum." The Pokemon said as it was surprised by Serena's Poke Puff and gobbled it down.

"Huh?" The group said as they realized it just ate it.

"What?" Ash said as the group turned their heads to see a Pokemon.

"Aah!" The Pokemon said as the group was surprised to see a white, bipedal Pokémon. It has reddish-pink eyes with white pupils and is usually seen with its tongue poking out of the corner of its mouth.

"What is that thing?" Alex said as it looked at them.

EPISODE 29: A Battle By Any Other Name! (Ash)

EPISODE 29: Serena Vs Miette! The Poke Puff Cook-Off! (Alex)

Following Ash and Alex's second Kalos gym battle win in Cyllage City, our heroes have taken a break and are enjoying Serena's fresh baked Poke Puffs. Now, they seemed to have company!

"Psychic...!" The Pokemon said as it used it's powers to take it away.

"Ah!" Ash cried out as that was the other Poke Puff he wanted to have that was in his hand.

"Nomph!" The Pokemon said as it ate the other Poke Puff.

"Well. That was a hello there moment. Who is that Pokemon?" Alex said as he was startled as Ash sighed, both trainers pulled out their Pokedexs and scanned the Pokemon.

"Slurpuff, The Meringue Pokemon. A Fairy Type. Slurpuff's keen sense of smell is especially sensitive: much more than people's." The Pokedex said as it told Slurpuff about it's senses and how it has a better scent, thena short young girl with fair skin, brown eyes, and short, yet layered dark blue hair that she secures with light blue maid-like headwear and an orange headband. She wears an elegant and fashionable outfit that consists of a teal shirt with long light blue sleeves, a sleeveless green overshirt with cyan squares on both sides, an orange tie, and cyan shorts with light blue lines. On her feet, she wears orange shoes and plain white socks that nearly reach her knees.

"You see, Slurpuff thinks your Poke Puff's tasted decent enough." The Girl in blue hair said as a slight sassy tone, which made Serena frown.

"What does that mean? Who are you?" Serena yapped at the girl, she approached the group in a nice manner.

"I'm Miette, and this is my partner Slurpuff." Miette said as she introduced herself to the group in a polite manner while holding a basket.

"Hello there." Slurpuff said as she waved to the group happily.

"Hi, My name's Ash. And this is my partner, Pikachu!" Ash said as he introduced himself to Miette.

"Hello." Pikachu said to the girl.

"And I'm Serena." Serena muttered out as she madly turned away from Miette.

"I'm her Trainer's Pokemon!" Fennekin cheerily said.

"I'm Alex, nice to meet you. I'm on a quest to find my long lost family, starting with my mother." Alex said as he introduced himself to the group and told his mission, which got Miette's attention.

"Clemont's my name!" Clemont said as he introduced himself to Miette.

"I'm Bonnie." Bonnie said as she chimed in.

"And I'm Dedenne!" Dedenne said happily to the group.

"Nice to meet you, Miette." Alex said as he bowed happily which made Miette smile.

"Yeah. The same to you. Although I heard something that got my attention from afar." Miette happily bowed back and wanted the group's attention for something.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Alex said as he was confused.

"I did overhear one thing. You." Miette said as she did hear something and looked at Alex.

"M-Me?" Alex said as he stammered about what Miette heard.

"Yeah, I heard you wanted to be taught on how to cook Poke Puffs for your family in the future. Right?" Miette said as she repeated on what Alex said toward Serena as she closely whispered to Alex's ear.

"Yes, that's right." Alex stammered as he was surprised.

"Well. I can help you cook a Poke Puff the right way. Then you'll thank me better than her." Miette said as she backed off and smiled, which got Serena's attention with anger.

"EXCUSE ME!?" Serena shouted but Ash and Bonnie didn't hear her.

"Oh..." Bonnie and Ash gasped in awe before their stomach's growled in hunger.

"Hah, since my slurpuff ate some of your Poke Puffs, how would you like to try some of the best?" Miette chuckled embarassingly since her Pokemon took all the Poke Puffs and she opened her basket for Poke Puffs.

"Yes, please! I want one!" Ash said as he wanted one.

"Me too, Me too!" Pikachu said too happily.

"I do, too!" Bonnie said as she was wanting it also.

"Yes! I want one!" Dedenne said excitingly.

"Thank you, but i'll pass." Serena humped madly which didn't get Miette

"Some of the best?! Now I really have to know what you make for Poke Puffs!" Alex said as he was really now wanting to let Miette teach him.

"Alright, here you are. Enjoy!" Miette said as she opened her basket and showed two rows across of each other were the same Poke Puffs. They were colorful as it went from pink with sprinkles, Chocolate and Strawberry shape melons, Poky spicy red hot and Green and white with red dots.

"Wow..." The group said as they were surprised to see Miette's stuff.

"Oooh.." Pikachu said as he was amazed.

"For Pikachu, A spicy tamato berry-topped Poke Puff and a sweet Oran berry topped Poke Puff for Dedenne." Miette said as she gave Pikachu a Poke Puff for him while giving Dedenne a berry of his own.

"Aah. Omph!" Pikachu and Dedenne said as they took a bite of theirs which made them happy.

"Wow, You really know the Poke Puffs well." Alex said as Miette happily smiled, this caused Serena to look at the group with much worry. They were focused on Miette now and her Poke Puffs instead of her. This made her upset.

"Wow, this is good!" Pikachu excitingly cried out.

"Totally agreed!" Dedenne said as he was wondering how.

"How do you make these?" Alex asked which got Miette to tell them.

"Whip them up with some berry's for the right types of Pokemon and they work well too. I can show you if you want." Miette explained as she told them about the berry and what is needed for Poke Puff.

"Sure!" Alex said as he wanted to learn about berries for making.

"I want to try that!" Ash said as he took a Tamato Berry one, this worried Miette.

"Wait! But that's..." Miette cried out but Ash took a bite and it was too late. Which caused Ash to freak out and spew fire from his mouth as he cried out in agony.

"HOOTTT!" Ash cried out as he spewed out flames from his mouth, it was hot!

"Wow, talk about using Flamethrower!" Alex said as he was surprised.

"Lesson learned, don't randomly eat Poke Puff's next time, Ash?" Alex said as he told Ash a lesson about what happened.

"Y-Yeah... Hot... Ack.. That didn't taste good... Whhahpt was it?" Ash sputtered out as he was trying to cool down his mouth and asked but he burned himself.

"That was for fire types! Poke Puffs are made for Pokemon, so they're not all going to taste good for people!" Miette scolded Ash as she told them it's mostly for Pokemon and how they were.

"Like that one..." Ash said as he remembered.

"I am sorry. He's my friend and I treat him like a brother. I don't act like him but I will be aware of what you warn me about Miette. So sorry." Alex said as he apologized for Miette which she smiled.

"Remember, All Poke Puffs are baked with a particular Pokemon in mind..." Miette said as she showed some sass to Serena.

"Hey! I make them like that, too!" Serena said as she was mad, being sassed at like that.

"Course you can. That's Poke Puff basics. Poke Puff 101." Miette said as she was showing her sassiness which made Serena snap madly.

"What's with the attitude!?" Serena snapped as Miette had shown her sassiness for far to long as they angrily exchanged glances, causing the group to panic.

"Sorry, Miette!" Alex said as he wrapped his arms around her and tried to pull her away from Serena but they were too focused on being mad at each other.

"Hey. Chill out, Miette!" Slurpuff said as Miette and Serena were fighting.

"Calm down, you two! There's no reason to be mad." Clemont said as he tried to get them to break up the fight.

"Hmph!" Miette and Serena angrily growled at each other as their eyes were scarily sparking at each other.

"Erm.. Oh!" Alex said as Miette opened her eyes which caused Alex to panic and let go.

"What? You like me, don't you?" Miette said as she looked at Alex happily with a go-to smile.

"W-W-What!? N-N-No! I didn't mean like t-that! I do have a girlfriend.. I just.. didn't want-t let you fight." Alex stammered as he told Miette about his situation and tried to get it under control, which caused her to be surprised on hearing he had a girlfriend.

"Ahah.." Clemont chuckled lightly, this was weird.

"Why not have a Bake-off?" Bonnie asked which got Clemont to listen.

"What was that, Bonnie?" Clemont asked to his little sister.

"A what off?" Alex said as he was surprised to hear.

"There's a Poke Puff contest!" Bonnie said as she pointed to the group for an idea.

"Huh..." Alex said as he was amazed on Bonnie's idea.

"The first round's today, and the final round's tomorrow!" Bonnie said as she told them the details.

"Great idea!" Ash said as this would be a great idea.

"Totally!" Pikachu said as he knew it would totally fit.

"I've never heard of a Poke Puff contest before." Clemont said as he was surprised to hear this.

"That's the reason I came here in the first place. I'm competing!" Miette said as she told them about coming here.

"Maybe you'll show off how you make Poke Puffs and I can learn!" Alex said as maybe this was a good watch to both trainers.

"Oh no! We'll see who the better chef is!" Serena said as once again they clashed angrily like last time which caused the group to freak out.

"Not again...!" Alex cried out as the group tried to break up the two.

Transition: The Poke Puff Contest

"..." Fireworks had went off to celebrate the day that was the Poke Puff contest as people clapped and cheered for all the participants watching.

"Now, the prelimiary round of the Poke Puff contest is about to get underway! Contestants will compete using their own original Poke Puff recipes!" The Announcer said as he was commentating what was going on, many people with their pokemon were competing in the matchup. Including Serena and Miette, but nobody saw Team Rocket who were disguised to be in the competition.

"I can hardly wait to see all the Poke Puffs!" The announcer said as he was ready for the Pokemon's Poke Puff's and how they would be designed.

"Ta-da! The Poke Puff base layers are finished baking!" Serena said as she was done with the first phase of Poke Puffs which looked fluffy like cookies.

"aaah! They're so fluffy!" Bonnie said as she watched from the sidelines.

"I could eat them just like they are!" Ash said as he wanted another one so bad.

"Well, remember we don't wanna burn our mouths." Alex said as he reminded the group.

"Now, the next step. Two kinds of delicious frosting!" Serena said as she put phase two together and put frosting on the finished baked Poke Puffs.

"Wow..!" Fennekin said as she watched from the sidelines with her eyes dazzling.

"These frostings are my own original recipe, and they're delicious!" Serena said as she used the frosting all over the first layer of frosting.

"Ooohh." The group gasped amazingly as they were astounded.

"The topping goes on last! A great baker has to have an eye for design." Serena said as she put a twig on top of the Poke Puff.

"Every one of them!" Fennekin said as she was excited, she didn't eat it but was watching.

"Ta-da! A Poke Puff topping with a small twig for Fennekin!" Serena said as she put it on hers and it was done. Miette looked at Serena and back at her work with a smirk.

"Hmm, I'll wipe the floor with her!" Miette said as she worked very hard on her Poke Puff.

"All right ladies and gentlemen, we're now halfway through the preliminary round's alloted time, and all our contestants are feverishly baking away!" The announcer

"..." Lots of people were showing that they had their Poke Puff's done with their Pokemon happily as they were getting done. Except for Team Rocket.

"I'm seeing quite an amazing array of Poke Puffs! There's a lot of skill on display this year." The announcer said as Team Rocket's little oven was smoking out something bad.

"Ack!" Team Rocket groaned out as they were bad at making Poke Puffs before the oven exploded smally which got them all ruined..

"Of course, there's always an exception or two." The announcer said as Jessie coughed the smoke before team rocket groaned as a fail.

"It's time to announce the contestants who'll be moving on to the final round!" The announcer said as he was not making the final results.

"Joining us is Gena, world class Poke Puff patissier and our Poke Puff contest head judge!" The announcer said as a wonderful female chef would be making the calls and results.

"Hidden inside each Poke Puff is one thing: the hope that it will bring the hearts of people and Pokemon closer together than ever before. An exquisite Poke Puff is certain to make the bond between Trainer and Pokemon even stronger!" Gena said as she nodded and told all of them about how each Poke Puff was able to get themselves a bond. But her voice

"Gena? Excuse me?" Bonnie asked the female chef which got her attention.

"Huh?" Gena said as she noticed Bonnie.

"Wait..." Alex said as Clemont looked over and noticed Bonnie moved.

"Uh.. Erp.." Clemont muttered out as she didn't appear next to Clemont. She was on stage!

"I need you to take care of my brother!" Bonnie said as she proposed to her, Clemont ran to where Bonnie was.

"Bonnie, I told you to stop this a million times!" Clemont cried out as he was embarassed which he used his Aipom arm to grab her.

"I hope you'll think about it, please?" Bonnie said as Gena and the announcer slightly chuckled.

"Ignore her! This is so embarassing!" Clemont cried out as he barreled through the audience which Miette sweatdropped.

"Take care of her brother, huh?" Miette said as she walked and sat over next to the group as she was surprised that Bonnie was like that, she took a spot between ash and alex.

"Bonnie's like that since we started our journey." Alex said as he knew it was embarassing.

"So, Ash. Do you have already have someone to take care of you?" Miette said as she asked Ash a question.

"What are you talking about..?" Ash said as he wondered. Miette looked over at Serena which she looked over.

"Hmph." Serena humped again madly.

"Ah well. Just a love tap." Miette said as she playfully rested on Alex's shoulder which caused him to go slight red in the face.

"I'm going to announce the three contestants who will move on to the final round." Gena said on the microphone to declare who advances.

"Only three of them, wow!" Clemont said as he was startled to hear three are going to move on.

"I'm so nervous for you!" Bonnie said as she was excited.

"Ahah.." Serena chuckled as Bonnie was not helping.

"Our first contestant is... Miette!" Gena said as she announced Miette was first to advance.

"No surprise." Miette said as she got up and walked on stage.

"Next... the berrybaker kids!" Gena said as she announced the next contestant.

"Big brother, we made it!" The little sister said as she was excited. Her Pokemon makuhita was there also.

"Alright! Let's win with our sticky rice Poke Puffs!" The big brother said as their Pokemon was there to be enjoyed for them.

"Finally... Serena!" Gena said as she announced the final contestant.

"Alright!" Ash exclaimed, seeing Serena was in.

"You made it in!" Pikachu said as he was happy.

"We did it!" Fennekin said as she was overjoyed.

"You're in!" Bonnie said as he was happy for Serena.

"Serena, that's wonderful!" Clemont said as he was happy Serena made it.

"You made it to the next round!" Alex said as Serena smiled at the whole group.

"Thank you. But now, it really begins." Serena said as she knew she had to step up.

"Our finalists are to come up with a new, original Poke Puff recipe by tomorrow's round. They'll also need to gather up the ingredients they'll be using." Gena said as she told everyone about the three people in the finals with Serena and Miette next to each other, doing another mad electric eye glance at each other. Wanting to win so bad.

"That's it! On to the finals!" The announcer said as that was it.

Back with Team Rocket, hiding behind the stage.

"Knocked out of the race at the starting gate." Meowth muttered out, they failed there.

"And now we won't even get to excecute our brilliant plan to catch every Pokemon we can find here after garnering the grand prize..." James said as they failed their plan now.

"Yeah, we blew it, but good." Meowth muttered out sadly.

"To think I was the Queen- the top Poke Puff chef for all of Team Rocket!" Jessie said as she was suppose to win where she got the attention.

"What's she talking about?" James asked to Meowth.

"Beats the hats off me!" Meowth said as Jessie was mad.

"When it came to Poke Puffs! I was undefeated! The title of Poke Puff Queen will be mine forever!" Jessie snapped as she was good! She wanted to do this!

"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet said as he was made.

"If I can't make my Poke Puffs, no one can!" Jessie said as she knew if they couldn't make it, no one can.

"Eh..? Aaahh!" James and Meowth said as they got an idea now.

Back with our heroes at a closed few stalls.

"Do you have any berries left?" Serena said as she asked politely.

"Sorry, im completely sold out." The shopkeeper said as he was empty. All of the shops were empty and closed.

"So sorry." Pansear apologized to them.

"What do I do?" Serena said as she wondered what to do.

"I'm afraid you'll have to go to another shop." The shopkeeper said as he told them.

"How can I bake Poke Puffs if I can't find the right ingredients?" Serena said as the group had their turn and asked many other shopkeepers for any berries they had which they said no to the reply which made the group concerned.

"Are they sold out, too?" Miette said as she approached the group with worry.

"We can't find it." Slurpuff said as they couldn't find a single thing.

"Every berry shop in town is out of berries." Miette said as she knew all of them were empty.

"Are you sure?" Ash said as Serena was stunned.

"What..?" Serena blankly said as she couldn't believe it.

"I wonder if this is on purpose." Clemont said as he wondered something.

"But, who would go take all the berries?" Alex said as he wondered why the berries were gone.

"Hmph! Is this your fault!?" Serena muttered and suddenly blamed Miette. Which made Clemont panic and get out of the way.

"Why would I do such a thing?!" Miette scowled at her as they clashed once again.

"Not again! Break it up, girls! Come on!" Alex said as he tried to move Miette out of the way.

"Maybe the forest will have berries!" Bonnie said as she had another idea.

"Yeah, there!" Dedenne said, knowing it'll work.

"Good idea! Let's all go to the forest and look!" Ash said as he knew it would work.

"Come on, let's go that." Pikachu said as he knew that would work.

"Yeah! Let's go look!" Serena and Miette said together which got Alex's attention that maybe they stopped before they exchanged more mad looks at each other and humph their heads away again, which caused Alex to sweatdrop a bit.

Transition: The Forest not far from the Poke Puff contest

"..." The forest was dim and quiet, trees were broken off like nothing as the group searched but no sign of any berries at all, something was wrong. Everything was broken and destroyed.

"I don't see any." Ash said as they didn't see anything.

"Found and berries, Pidgey?" Alex asked as his Pokemon was floating around to find something.

"Nope." Pidgey said as Alex sighed and returned him to his Poke Ball.

"But how can that be?" Serena said as she wondered how that was not possible.

"This wasn't from natural causes. Someone's sabotaging the contest." Clemont said as he knew the sky was clear, someone was behind all of this!

"Who would do such a bad thing?" Bonnie said as she wondered, but she was upset.

"Shame on them!" Dedenne said as he was unhappy.

"I wonder..." Ash said as he wondered.

"I'll go see if I can find something!" Serena said as she hurried to find some berries of herself.

"Humph, hmph." Fennekin said as she followed along.

"Serena!" Ash said as she didn't know where she was going.

"Where are you going?" Pikachu asked as he wondered what Serena was doing.

"Being frantic isn't going to help..." Miette said, knowing this was not working by Serena.

"What could we do to save this forest." Alex said as he wondered about the forest.

"I guess- you have any ideas, Miette?" Ash said as he asked Miette for ideas.

"My Slurpuff can help us figure this thing out!" Miette said as she knew her Pokemon was reliable.

"Huh?" Alex said as they looked down at her Pokemon.

"If something sweet's in the air, Slurpuff can find where it is. So finding berries should be a piece of cake." Miette said as she knew Slurpuff's scent would get the attention of it.

"Yeah." Slurpuff said as she knew her scent was good.

"Will you do that for us?" Miette asked as she petted her Pokemon.

"Count on me!" Slurpuff happily said as it used it's nose to get a sweet scent

"That way, That way!" Slurpuff said as she pointed in the same direction Serena went.

"It says berries are this way!" Miette said as she knew where to go.

"But, Serena went that way." Alex said as Miette pointed in the direction of Serena.

"Wow! Awesome!" Ash said as he was amazed.

"Let's go-" Pikachu said before they heard Serena.

"EEEEK!" Serena shrieked out in trouble.

"That was Serena!" Clemont exclaimed, hearing her voice.

"HELP ME!" Serena shouted as she seemed to be in trouble.

"Serena!" Ash said as he knew she was in trouble.

"Something's in this forest, I know it." Alex said as all of them hurried to find her.

"..." The group travelled the path where Serena went straight ahead as they got past bushes and trees where Serena was at, seemingly confronted by a bunch of Pokemon that were looking mad at her for no reason.

"Come on! What do you want?!" Serena asked as she was wondering what was going on.

"Swwirrrll!" The Pokemon said as they attempted to scare her.

"Please, stay away!" Serena said as she tripped on the branch which got the Pokemon to angrily look at her.

"Swirlix!" The Pokemon cried out as they began to attack Serena which she attempted to break out of.

"Fennekin, Use Scratch, quick!" Serena said as she wanted to scare off the Pokemon.

"Hrr.." Fennekin said as she tried to attack.

"String Shot!" Swirlix said as they changed their attention.

"Oh, Fennekin!" Serena said as she realized Fennekin was caught in sticky webs, The group found her.

"There!" Pikachu said as they had to do something.

"Serena!" Ash exclaimed as he had to help her.

"Pikachu! Use Thunderbolt!" Ash said

"Thunderbollt!" Pikachu said as he shocked the Pokemon.

"Grrroaaag! Ooough!" The Pokemon cried out before they fled away for a moment as Fennekin got free.

"Oh..!" Fennekin said as Serena hugged her.

"You okay?" Ash asked as Serena looked up at Ash.

"Yeah, I'm fine.." Serena said as she wondered what could've happened.

"Alright, who's that Pokemon?" Ash said as he pulled out the Pokedex and scanned at the new Pokemon.

"Swirlix, The Cotton Candy Pokemon. A Fairy Type. Swirlix only eats sweets, making it's fur as sticky as cotton candy." The Pokedex said as it showed the Swirlix would eat sweets and they are the similarly same as cotton candy.

"They're so cute!" Bonnie said as she liked the Pokemon.

"Maybe, but now they're really mad!" Clemont said as he reminded her.

"Grraghh!" Swirlix growled as they were angry.

"How dare you suddenly attack us like that! Fennekin, Use Flamethrower!" Serena said as she scolded the Pokemon for rudely attacking them without warning.

"Hmph! Flamethrowerrr!" Fennekin said as she used Flamethrower to scare them awa.

"Grrah! We're outta here!" The Swirlix said as they fled.

"Huh, Why'd they attack you?" Ash asked to her, knowing what happened.

"It's your fault for letting your guard down!" Miette said, knowing Serena was at fault as Serena rolled her eyes.

"Hmm, I'm all sticky! That's why there aren't any berries in the forest! The Swirlix must've eaten them all!" Serena said as she was brushing her hair as she was a sticky mess.

"But I can smell more!" Slurpuff said as she could have more smells.

"That's not what Slurpuff thinks..." Miette said as she knew Slurpuff was having a different idea.

"Well, how would it know?" Serena said as she wondered how.

"Slurpuff evolves from Swirlix. So it knows they behave." Miette said as she told Serena.

"Then that must mean the Swirlix were angry about something else." Clemont said as he knew maybe something was wrong.

"But how would they know? Unless it's from the same person who tried to sabotage the contest!" Alex said as they wondered if it was someone who was doing it all.

"I know where to go! Follow me, please!" Slurpuff said as she sniffed once more.

"It's telling us to follow!" Miette said as they followed Slurpuff.

"Let's go!" Ash said as they followed.

"Right!" Pikachu said as they came along.

"Mmh.. This way!" Slurpuff said as she continued to sniff and smell and hurried.

"It must have smelled something!" Miette said as she knew they sniffed something.

"Come on!" Alex said as the group followed them to move.

"..." The group went through the bushes and trees again through the forest as they pushed them aside until they came across the side of a hill.

"Up there." Slurpuff said as she pointed up to the dead end cliff.

"It's a dead end!" Clemont said as he knew it was a dead end.

"How are we gonna get over that?" Bonnie said as she wondered how.

"With what also?" Dedenne asked, Ash had thought before having an idea.

"Hey, I know! We'll all be able to climb that cliff if we work together as a team!" Ash said as he told them his idea.

"Clemont, ask Chespin to help out!" Ash said as he turned to Clemont.

"Wait, that's right." Alex said as he realized he was right.

"I understand! Now, Chespin, let's go!" Clemont said as he understood and summoned out Chespin to the battle.

"Hmph." Chespin said as he was ready.

"It's your turn." Ash said as he looked at Miette.

"Right, Slurpuff, help us out." Miette said politely to her Pokemon.

"Psychic..." Slurpuff said as she used Psychic to carry chespin all the way up to the top of the cliff.

"Okay, Chespin, use Vine Whip to lift us all up there!" Ash said as he told Chespin from down at the bottom of the cliff.

"I can hear you! Vine Whip!" Chespin said as he heard them and carried Pikachu to the top.

"Here's the ride!" Pikachu said as he was taken up.

"It's all safe up here!" Pikachu said as it was safe.

"Alright, Awesome job!" Ash said as he knew it was clear.

"..." Chespin was carrying Bonnie with his vine whip around her body as Ash was being carried up by Clemont's Aipom Arm as they got to the top of the cliff as they all were at the top of the Cliff.

"Thanks, Clemont!" Ash said as he thanked him.

"Chespin, you're amazing!" Bonnie said as she petted Chespin.

"Thanks!" Chespin said as he was proud.

"You were a big help! Thanks, Chespin." Clemont said as he thanked Chespin before returning him to his Poke Ball.

"Oh, wow!" Bonnie said as they saw trees and bushes full of berries.

"Oh.. Look at that!" Ash said as he was amazed.

"Lots of berry trees!" Bonnie said as she was amazed.

"I can't believe how many there are!" Ash said as he looked around.

"Millions!" Bonnie said as she saw millions of berries.

"Lots!" Dedenne said as there was lots.

"I'll make amazing Poke Puffs with these!" Serena said as she picked a berry from a tree.

"They're delicious!" Ash said as he was eating a berry.

"Totally good!" Pikachu said as he was eating one also.

"ASH!" Alex angrily called out which got him to open an eye.

"Already!?" Miette and Serena said as they were startled to see Ash was eating.

"Huh? I smell something." Slurpuff said as she smelled something strange.

"What, Slurpuff?" Miette said as she looked down at her Pokemon.

"Something's coming." Slurpuff said as she noticed something was coming.

"Aiyyeee!" The Swirlix cried out as they were running from something.

"Oh no, not them again!" Serena said as she realized it was them, she was unhappy.

"Wait, why are they panicking?" Alex said as he realized something was wrong.

"Something else is going on." Clemont said as he knew something else was going on.

"String Shot! Gack!" The Swirlix said as they fled and tried to string shot but missed as a claw whiffed and missed them.

"What's that!?" Ash said as soon they got their answer.

"..." The Swirlix ran from some claws on a long machine and escaped a fast way before the sudden trees ahead of them broke and showed an R symbol on them! It was Team Rocket's new machine!

"You!" Ash said as Team Rocket smirked once again and done their motto.

"Who's that?" Miette asked, she didn't know them.

"Team Rocket!" Ash said, knowing who it was.

"Not good!" Pikachu said as he knew it was bad.

"We're taking over the berry business. It's all ours to the far as the eye can see." Jessie said as they were the ones to take it all.

"Which means your twerp-ish baking days are over!" James said, knowing they would get nothing.

"And while we're at it, we'll grab all your Pokemon and leave you with a bag full of windful air!" Meowth said as an extra treat of theirs.

"Why you...!" Ash said as this was bad.

"Come on!" Pikachu said as he wasn't happy.

"Well it's no wonder we couldn't find any berries!" Miette said as she wondered why.

"Now I understand why the Swirlix were so angry." Serena said as she understood.

"Knowing the truth won't set you free!" James said as he knew they would lose.

"Show them a thing or three!" Jessie said as it was a lesson to learn.

"Leave it to me!" Meowth said as he wanted to show off.

"Check out my Robo Baby Buggy Berry-Robbing Swipe the Sweets and Make Your Own Treats Octillery Mark Three!" Meowth said as he showed off his new machine's clever name which somehow got Clemont's attention.

"That's such a creative name.." Clemont said as he was impressed.

"You would think that..." Serena said as she burned Clemont hard.

"Clemont, whose side are you on?" Alex said as he looked at Clemont.

"Ouch." Clemont said as he realized it.

"On the Pokemon, side of things. We'll grab Pikachu first!" Meowth said as he pushed a button and a vaccuum was sucking Ash.

"Whooa!" Pikachu cried out as he was taken by the power of the vaccuum.

"Pikachu!" Ash said as he realized he was being taken.

"Pikachu, use thunderbolt!" Ash said as he knew what to do, Pikachu tried to do it.

"Sorry, this machine is guaranteed thunderbolt-resistant." James said as the attack was nulled.

"Now for the rest of twerp's Pokemon." Jessie said as they wanted more.

"Turn it up to ten!" Meowth said as he turned up the max power of the vaccuum sucking power.

"Skreee!" The Swirlix said as they were taken.

"Swirlix, No!" Ash said as they were in a pouch now.

"Nyeh, heh! How sweet it is!" Meowth said as he was proud.

"Swimming in a sea of success!" Jessie said as she knew they had nothing they had in mind.

"Yes!" Meowth said.

"Oh the shame.. Just kidding!" James said as he taunted.

"Yup!" Meowth chuckled.

"We're all swimming a sea of success, We're just-a sailing along Cause we're strong!" Team Rocket sang together as they had their success.

"Yeah!" Wobbuffet said as the group were holding their ground as Ash needed to think.

"Pikachu... and swirlix, What can I do?" Ash said as he needed to help them.

"Hey, Clemont. Does their machine have any weak spots?" Serena said as she turned to Clemont for an idea.

"Weak Spot? Let's see." Clemont said as he would be at work.

"Hurry!" Bonnie told her big brother.

"Okay, first off, it's a giant vaccuum. It has to suck in air in order to function!" Clemont said as he knew it was a vaccuum.

"So.. Hurry!" Alex said as he hurried Clemont, putting him under pressure.

"I've got it! Seal their section tube! That will definitely stop the airflow!" Clemont said as he understood and told Ash.

"Great idea! I'm going!" Ash said as he charged to the machine.

"Stop the twerp in his tracks!" Jessie said to Meowth.

"We're really cleaning up!" Meowth said as they tried to move him out of there.

"You can't stop me..!" Ash said as he got part of his body stuck on the machine, causing no air flow.

"What are you, nuts?!" Meowth said as they tried to shake him off but to no avail.

"Hang on, I promise i'll get you out of here!" Ash said as he looked at his Pokemon, the others were amazed.

"Ash, no!" Serena said as she was worried for him.

"Hang on there!" Alex called out to him.

"Oh, wow.. Ash is so brave." Miette said as she was amazed at Ash's bravery.

"Careful, Ash!" Clemont said as he warned him.

"You can do it, Ash!" Bonnie said as the machine had a black smoke from the pouch and blew it up, making it weak as electric shocks came out.

"Urrhh.." Swirlix said as the pouch stopped spinning

"Oof." Pikachu said as he landed.

"Now's your chance! Get out of there!" Ash said to the pokemon.

"Oouh....." Pikachu said as the machine overheated, Clemont noticed.

"The engine overheated! That stopped the machine! We should attack now!" Clemont said as now that stopped the machine, hoping to attack the machine.

"Fennekin, Flamethrower, go!" Serena said as she had to target the weak point.

"Flamethrower!" Fennekin said as she attacked the weak point which was causing the machine to get worse.

"This could be a little bit of a problem.." Meowth said as he realized something was wrong.

"Little!? We're going to explode!" James said as he told meowth what's happening.

"Cut the small talk and do something!" Jessie said as she told Meowth.

"Switching to exhaust!" Meowth said as he pushed a button and sent the machine to spew out stuff.

"Whoah!" Ash cried out as he was being released along many others.

"Oaah.." Pikachu said as he groaned out.

"Ow..." Ash said as he landed and rubbed his back.

"You okay, Pikachu?" Ash asked his partner.

"A bit dizzy." Pikachu said as he was dizzy.

"Swirlix, you okay?" Ash said to the Pokemon.

"Snap out of it!" Ash said as that got their attention.

"Brpbrpbrph. Ah!" Pikachu shook his head and got his head straight.

"Phphphph! Bah!" Swirlix shook their heads.

"That's great. Swirlix, I need you to help me out by stopping that machine!" Ash said as he told the Pokemon.

"Orrragaghhh!" The Swirlix cried out as they charged at the machine and began to use their stickiness to trap the machine and make it unable to move.

"Leave us alone!" James cried out as their machine was sticky and full of webs.

"That's awesome!" Ash said as now Miette had an idea.

"Hey, Slurpuff! Why don't we help them out too?" Miette said as her Pokemon charged to help.

"Right away!" Slurpuff said as she charged toward the Machine.

"Let's finish this!" Fennekin said as she was beside Slurpuff.

"Fennekin, Use Flamethrower!" Serena said as she wanted to attack.

"And let's do this." Pikachu said as he was beside the two Pokemon.

"Pikachu, use thunderbolt!" Ash said to give the last blow.

"Slurpuff, Energy Ball!" Miette said, chiming in.

"Flaamethrower!" Fennekin said as it fired flamethrower.

"Thunderbolttt!" Pikachu said as he gave a bolt of lightning.

"Energyy Ball!" Slurpuff said as it had three small green balls and fired it.

"..." All three attacks combined together to create one big attack which hit the machine and made it explode.

"I still bake the best!" Jessie cried out as they were in the sky.

"We're all cooked..." James muttered out sadly.

"Time to cool off." Meowth said as they were going to be gone.

"There's nothing sweet about blasting off." Team Rocket said together upsettingly.

"And make it burnt." Wobbuffet said as it was bad.

"And we're doing-" Jessie said.

"It-" James continued on.

"Again!" Meowth cried out.

"Oh! Why?" Wobbuffet cried out as they were long gone.

"Yeah!" Ash said as they were done.

"Alright!" Serena said as she hugged her Pokemon.

"It's over." Alex said as it was done.

Transition: Poke Puff Contest, Next Day.

"And now, we'll announce the winner of our fabulous Poke Puff Contest!" The announcer said as the next date arrived.

"Presenting our head judge, Gena. Take it away!" The announcer said as he let Gena do the work.

"The berrybaker kids incorporated exoctic flavors into their Poke puff creating a delicacy that is comforting and innovative." Gena said as she introduced the first contestant's final Poke Puff.

"Using a Passho Berry for her Poke Puff topping, Serena has created a delight with flavor and a hint of heat! Fire types are sure to love her Poke Puff!" Gena said as she told Serena about hers as she held Fennekin in her arms.

"And finally, Miette's Poke Puff is made with cotton candy and whipped cream, and topped with a Tamato berry. Both electric-type and fair-type Pokemon are certain to love her presentation!" Gena said as she saw Miette's Poke Puff and told the typing.

"And now, the winner is...?" The announcer asked Gena whom nodded.

"I'm happy to announce... The berrybaker kids win it!" Gena said as she put her hand out in the direction of the first contestant and declared it, which got them surprised and happy.

"Wwwaaahhh...?" Serena and Miette cried out as they were baffled.

"Yes!" The big brother said as he was happy.

"Berrybaker rules!" The brother and sister said together which made their pokemon happy.

"Yeah!" Makuhita said happily.

"I'm sorry Serena and Miette both lost." Bonnie said as she was a bit upset.

"That was a shame." Dedenne said, he was sad.

"There's always next time." Clemont said, knowing next time would work.

"They did their best." Alex said to Bonnie as Serena and Miette were talking.

"So, where are you going from here?" Serena said as she asked curiously.

"I'm headed anywhere that helps me make better Poke Puffs." Miette said as she knew she wanted to beat her.

"Next time I see you, my Poke Puffs will be even tastier!" Serena said as they knew they could go.

"Mine, too!" Miette said as they shook hands, in parting ways.

"Maybe this was all for the best." Clemont said as he knew it was best.

"Yeah." Ash said as it was done now.

"They settled it." Pikachu said, they settled the rivalry.

"At least it's over now, it does seemed interesting as a rivalry. Although I would be embarassed if she and I were going to date..." Alex said knowing what happened was interesting yet embarassing.

"Serena, gotta go!" Ash said as he called out to her.

"Huh?" Miette and Serena said as they looked at Ash and back at each other.

"Take care!" Serena said to Miette.

"One thing." Miette said before she left.

"Huh?" Serena said as Miette got close to her ear.

"Either you tell Ash how you feel about him, or I'll tell him how I feel." Miette teased which caused Serena to be startled and blushed big time!

"H-HUH?" Serena cried out, causing her to blush big time!

"Don't say I didn't warn you!" Miette said as this caused Serena to blush several in annoyance.

"Hmmph. Hmm." Serena muttered out as she walked to the group, Miette wasn't done.

"Hey! Alex!" Miette called out to Alex.

"Yeah?" Alex said as he looked over at her.

"Don't forget! All the practicing and training, I hope you make the best Poke Puffs for your mother and her Pokemon!" Miette said as she told him to remember about the training of Poke Puff's they did this morning.

"Thanks Miette! I'll invite you over to her house one day!" Alex said as he thanked her and made a promise.

"That's a deal!" Miette said as she was happy Alex would do this for her.

"Alright!" Alex said as he was excited.

Poke Puffs makes everyone happy, not to mention bring together people with a love for baking! Now, with some baking done as our heroes are off the Shalour City once again, as the journey continues!
