"Whoa! Look guys!" Alex said, showing Ash, Pikachu, Bonnie, Clemont and Serena some bulletin board in Brackish town, This was an advertisement they were looking at.
"What is it Alex?" Serena said as Ash looked over to see a man and woman with a vs sign.
"Whoa! A Huge Pokémon Battle!" Ash said, shoving alex aside. Being amazed on the advertisement board.
"And it's taking place right here in town." Clemont said as Alex was amazed.
"Wow!" Alex said in awe, a big battle? Here!? Yes please! They would want to see it.
"We should definitely go!" Ash said, excitingly.
"Yeah we should!" Pikachu said as Alex was happy.
"I agree, I might study more about these Pokémon they might have." Alex said, wanting too see what they might use.
"Wait. Is that!?" Serena said, noticing the woman in the sign as she knew who it was.
"Hmm?" Ash said, looking confused.
"Huh?" Alex said as he was confused with serena's looking and recongintion.
"It is! Diantha's doing an exhibition battle." Serena said. Seemingly to notice the woman.
"Wonderful!" Clemont said happily.
"Yeah." Bonnie added with Clemont.
"Awesome, alright! So.. Who's Diantha anyway?" Ash said, then he turned his head when looking at the three.
"Yeah... Who is she?" Alex added on, Serena, Bonnie and Clemont fell in cartoon fashion.
"How can you both now know who she is!?" Serena said, being annoyed with the two of them on not knowing who Diantha was.
"She's the strongest trainer in all of Kalos, that's who!" Clemont said, telling them what their deal is.
"Yup! She's the champion!" Bonnie said, giving him the short version of who Diantha was.. Alex was surprised about Bonnie's words.
"That's right." Dedenne said on top of Bonnie's head. It was true!
"Wait, The champion!? Why didn't you all say so!? That's amazing!" Alex said being amazed on hearing those words. A Kalos Champion was in sight!
"Really!? No kidding?!" Ash said being psyched up from Bonnie's words.
"Oh man, I'm stoked for it!" Pikachu agreed with ash, wanting to see her.
"Oh my gosh! I want to see her up close!" Alex said, being very excited to see her. A Champion and wonderful person they would meet.
"Diantha, the champion. Huh? I'm psyched!" Ash said looking at the bulletin board.
"Not only Diantha is the champion, she also happens to be a world famous movie star!" Serena said, knowing Diantha a bit.
"Movie star!?" Ash said in surprise. He didn't know she was a movie star.
"Like actors and actresses? Those kinds of people?" Alex added on, knowing what movie stars were like.
"Yeah. Just have a look up there for yourself!" Serena said, they saw a poster of a woman.
"Huh?" Ash and Alex said, looking up the poster of Diantha in different clothing.
"That's her in the blockbuster. 'My Sweet Sweet Lady.'" Clemont said, knowing the famous movie.
"Interesting name for a Movie. I would wanna see it one day." Alex said, wanting to see My Sweet Sweet Lady one day, a great movie maybe?
"Elegant with a dignified precense. The all around leading Perfect lady! I so admire her!" Serena said blushing as she was loving diantha. A big fan of her.
"I do too!" Clemont joined in with Serena on her comment. He wanted to see.
"Once I see her, then I'll believe you both if I get that chance." Alex said with a chuckle. Wanting to see if Diantha was a true movie star.
"Yes! That's it." Ash said being pumped up. Something was up with Ash.
"Huh? What's it ash?" Alex said, Turning his head to Ash and asking his friend.
"I'll challenge her." Ash said with grit determination on his face, Alex was in shock from what ash had said.
"WHOA, WHAT? Already!? We have only two badges. Ash!" Alex said as Ash just had determination on him, ignoring Alex on what he said..
"WAH!?" Serena said, freaking out a bit. This was crazy for ash to do.
"In that case, I'll ask her to take care of Clemont for me." Bonnie said in delight. Getting Clemont surprised.
"Yeah!" Dedenne said as Clemont hated that bonnie said that.
"Hngh. That's even more ridiculous." Clemont said being bothered on what Bonnie said..
"Huh?" Bonnie said, being confused and looking at Clemont..
"Come on, Let's go see her!" Ash said, dashing off to find Diantha.
"Come on everyone!" Pikachu said happily, prompting them to come along..
"Ash, Hold on! Think a few moments first!" Alex said, chasing Ash to get him to slow down.
"Hey!" Serena called to them following Alex who was after ash..
"Coming!" Bonnie delightfully said in pursuit. She was so excited to see the champion!
"Wait for me!" Clemont cried, tired out as he was following them.

EPISODE 31: The Bonds Of Evolution! (Ash)
EPISODE 31: Enter: Champion Diantha! Gardevoir's Strong Power! (Alex)
Transition: Somewhere in Lumiose City, Brackish Town. Battlefield.
As our heroes continue their journey to Shalour City, where Ash and Alex's next gym battle challenge. Our heroes have decided to go and meet Diantha, the champion of the Kalos Region.
"Excuse me. I would like to get a word with Diantha." Someone said as a crowd was trying to enter a room.
"Everyone! Settle down!" A woman with glasses said. Ash, Alex, Serena, Bonnie and Clemont saw the issue. We'll call her Diantha's manager: Kathi Lee.
"Hey, Check out the crowd." Ash said, noticing people near someone's nearby door..
"Wow. What's going on over there?" Alex said raising an eyebrow. What was happening?
"Now, Diantha won't be seeing anyone or won't be getting any interviews today!" Kathi said, explaining the situation. People were a bit upset to hear.
"Wow. That's just unlucky." Alex said being annoyed at the situation.
"Y'know what?" Ash said being let down on what was going on.
"We're out of luck." Serena said sadly as they had nowhere to go.
"Shall we go back?" Clemont asked as alex looked at Ash with an upset face.
"Probably. Thanks for hyping me up ash." Alex said, throwing a glare at Ash.
"Wh- Don't-" Ash said looking at Alex before a voice was calling them to come here.
"Hey. Over here." Someone said as Clemont looked over to see a hand waving them in for some reason..
"Huh?" Clemont said in confusion. The door opened a bit more and it was Professor Sycamore!
"Nice to see you all again." Professor Sycamore said, they were shocked to see him here!
"Huh!?" Serena said surprisingly on Sycamore's arrival, what was he doing here?
"Wh-" Alex said, flubbergasted on why Sycamore was here.
"Professor Sycamore?!" Ash said as Sycamore let all of them in the room he was at.
"Thanks for letting us in." Clemont said, Thanking professor Sycamore for helping.
"What are you doing here, Professor?" Ash said, being confused on Sycamore's appearance.
"There's only one reason for me to be away from my lab. And what's that?" Professor Sycamore said. As Alex knew the answer he wanted to look for.
"To study some mystery on the new topic known as Mega Evolution. Right?" Alex asked in curiosity. He wanted to learn about Mega Evolution.
"You're here to do research on Mega Evolution. Right?" Clemont added to Alex's question. Which got him to wink.
"Still as perceptive as Alex and Clemont. You're Exactly right!" Professor Sycamore said to the two trainers happily.
"But why though?" Alex said, raising himself an eyebrow.
"I'm doing extensive research on Diantha's Gardevoir. And it's mega evolution." Professor Sycamore said, explaining what he was doing.
"Oh..." Serena said surpsingly, diantha's gardevoir can mega evolve?
"Whoa. Gardevoir." Ash said in amazement. A Mega Gardevoir was intriguing.
"It can really mega evolve?" Clemont said in shock, hearing this got him intrigued..
"The champion has a Mega Gardevoir? No wonder.." Alex said in amazement.
"It sure can." Professor Sycamore said to the squad.
"Wow. I wanna see!" Ash said in excitement as he wanted to see so bad.
"Yeah, Me too! Maybe the first Mega Evolution Pokemon I can see for the first time in my life!" Alex said in excitement. Wanting to see a Mega Evolution in front of his eyes would be a dream!
"Have you already seen Diantha, Professor?" Serena said, asking Professor Sycamore about Diantha.
"I have." Professor Sycamore said as he then looked at a door..
"Huh?" Serena said as she looked. Everyone else did too.
"Wait, Really? Where is she?" Alex said in confusion, besides the door.
"She's getting her makeup done in the next room." Professor Sycamore said, looking at the door, Diantha was on the other side?!
"Aah?!" Everyone gasped, seeing Diantha in person would be a dream!
"Diantha's on the other side of that door!?" Serena said excitingly. She was lightly blushing to see Diantha in person.
"Wow, Wow, Wow!" Bonnie said in delight. She was with Serena on seeing Diantha.
"We are so unbelievably lucky!" Clemont said happily, seeing her was right around the corner. He also adjusted his glasses.
"Diantha is gonna see us close and amazingly?! Will she be gorgeous!?" Alex said, very happy to see Diantha. As he lightly blushed to see her in person.
"Yes!" Ash said, walking to the door.
"Wait, Ash-" Alex said wanting to stop Ash from rudely entering.
"I'm gonna challenge her to a battle." Ash said as he wanted to enter, but alex wanted to stop him cause he knew it was wrong to enter someone's room who was putting on makeup. But to his surprise, the door opened. And a woman entered. She had short light brown hair that is designed in a somewhat star pattern with front bangs standing up, light blue eyes and violet eyeshadow. She wears a fairy-like white outfit with lots of gold trim. She is equipped with a white choker and white long-sleeved blazer with lapels that possess large buttons and also a small collar, the blazer finished with three petal-like ends and the sleeves have two golden lines on the cuffs. Two lacy objects on the back of her outfit resemble cloud-like wings that is likely to be connected to the blazer. She also wears a simple white shirt with two golden lines near the end of the shirt. Finishing her attire, she wears short white shorts and low high heel boots, also the color white. She wears a gold swan-shaped necklace around her neck with a Key Stone in it. This was Diantha.
"Sorry to keep you waiting. Professor." Diantha said, entering the room.
"Oh.." Alex said, she looked beautiful. He then had a sudden flash of his memory. She looked as if her eyes matched, but everything else...? Not so much.
"Oh dear, I see you have guests. Don't you?" Diantha said, looking at everybody she sees.
"Ahhhh!" Clemont said in shock. Diantha was here in front of the group..
"Whoa!" Ash said amazingly at the appearance of diantha.
"Beautiful..!" Alex said, wishing this was his mother.
"It's diantha for real!" Serena said happily.
"So pretty!" Bonnie said in joy. She was ecstatic!
"Haha, Why thank you!" Diantha said, being happy that some people aren't too excited.
"So, did you reconsider what we spoke about earlier, Diantha?" Professor Sycamore said, asking the champion.
"You must mean about me lending you this Key Stone, right?" Diantha said touching her own Key stone.
"Key Stone?" Ash said in confusion, looking at it.
"That thing? It seems so pretty. I wish I had one." Alex said. Wanting to earn one for himself.
"I'm sorry, but i'm afriad I can't." Diantha said, wanting to hold dear to it.
"Oh, That's a shame." Alex said sadly.
"If there's anything else I can help you with, I'd be happy too. But this key stone is part of the bond I have with Gardevoir." Diantha said as Alex looked at the Swan necklace with the Key stone inside, he began to think of Steven suddenly but his hazy memory forgot about his battle.
"Key Stone? Bond?" Alex said thinking what they meant by that.
"Bond?" Ash said being confused what Diantha meant.
"I can't lend it to anyone. Sorry." Diantha said as she was making it a promise to herself.
"I understand how you feel." Alex said, knowing what the champion said as she looked to him and smiled.
"Thank you." Diantha said in a happy tone, Alex then spoke up.
"Diantha-san?" Alex said, asking Diantha a question, She looked at him.
"Yes?" Diantha said, Alex reached for his Pocket that resembled his picture of him and the missing family.
"I want to ask you, most champions haven't been able to help much since I arrived but, I want to say if you can help find my family. Please?" Alex said, giving it to Diantha, she examined it but looked sad.
"Sorry, I can't help much about this. It is an old unique photo. But maybe when I get the chance next time I see you." Diantha said in a apologetic tone, she then gave alex back the photo.
"Thank you so much!" Alex said that the champion would help him for once!
"Well then, About my key stone... How about the next time I visit lumiose city if I have time to help-" Diantha said wanting to help, But her manager had other plans.
"Not gonna happen for the both of you. No way!" Kathi said, stopping the both of them from their ideas.
"But I-" Alex said before Kathi pushed him back with her words of her own.
"You know being Movie star isn't easy, Diantha's schedule is already jam-packed so you should know that. Right now, We have no plans to visit Lumiose City! Okay?" Kathi said, scolding alex like he's never seen a Movie star before at all during his time.
"Okay. Well thanks for the late reminder about Diantha's schedule you know. And, Please. Don't be like this to me when we next mee- OW!" Alex said, being annoyed when he decided to teach some payback by trying to remind Kathi Lee as he pointed at her but not touching her before she rudely interrupted him by shoving her planner in Alex's face.
"Hmph." Kathi said, as Alex held his face. Rubbing it lightly.
"Ow... That was uncalled for! I was just being nice to Diantha!" Alex said politely as Kathi ignored him for now.
"Why don't we take it a step down a notch please. It's just a friend." Professor Sycamore said, defending Alex from Kathi's action.
"Well that'll be a no from your plans. Got it!?" Kathi said being a bit cross.
"Well that expression shows your cuteness when your angry you know." Sycamore said as Kathi was getting annoyed.
"Do I need to make it two as well?" Kathi said, stopping and looking at Sycamore from what she did with alex.
"Er... No." Sycamore said as Kathi finally got through her mind with him.
"Wow, For a Champion's Scheduler. She's one big jerk to other people when it comes to helping out. Is her schedule THAT important?" Alex thought in his head, thinking Kathi wasn't gonna be friendly woman.
"Can we at least have a chance though?" Sycamore said, pleading for a chance to speak.
"No thanks. You're on soon. Are you all set to go?" Kathi said to Diantha.
"Yes, you're all welcomed to stay for the exhibition battle." Diantha said to everyone as they both left for their battle.
"Ohh." Ash said, wondering what's gonna happen.
"Diantha's a nice one, Maybe a chance. Kathi? Tch, She needs to cool her back down from throwing a tantrum nowadays. Gosh." Alex thought, Running his thoughts about what to say for Diantha and Kathi Lee.
Transition: Brackish Town's Battlefield
"And now. For today's main event." The announcer said over the microphone as fans were cheering.
"Diantha's time to shine. Huh?" Alex said being excited.
"Please welcome our trainers! Crowned best of brackish town last year. Say hi to Magnus! He'll be facing off against the elegant Kalos Champion: Diantha!" The announcer said as everyone cheered for both trainers for a fight.
"Yeah!" A fan said in the crowd.
"Yay Diantha!" Another fan said cheering in the crowd.
"Hmm. Diantha's gonna win. I got a feeling." Alex said, Diantha's the champion. How is she gonna fail?
"Professor. What's with that Key stone you two were talking about before?" Ash said, Asking professor Sycamore about the details of Key Stone.
"Yeah, What's special about it?" Alex added along on how was it a special thing.
"You see, the Key stone is crucial for a Pokémon to Mega Evolve." Professor Sycamore said, knowing how special the Key stone has to work.
"Mega Evolve? How does it work?" Alex asked, what more does he need to know about Mega Evolution?
"The stone a trainer possesses is called a Key stone. And the stone a Pokémon Possesses is called a Mega Stone." Professor Sycamore said as
"Mega Stone.. Key Stone.. What?" Alex said in awe, How was it meant to work like that?
"Key Stone and Mega Stone." Ash said in amazement.
"Alright Gardevoir. It's time. Let's show our fans a spectacular battle!" Diantha said, throwing a Pokeball. It was a Gardevoir!
"I'm ready, Diantha." Gardevoir said, Alex saw it and was in shock. He then had a flashback of his Hoenn Journey.
"That's the champions Pokemon." Ash said as Alex saw a gardevoir. He just smiled and reflected back on his Hoenn journey.
"Wow." Pikachu said. Looking at it.
"A Gardevoir? As an ace? Huh, Hoenn ol' days got to me." Alex said chuckling, remembering Hoenn adventures he had.
"Huh?" Ash said to Alex who shook his head and got his pokedex alongside ash.
"Gardevoir, The Embrace Pokemon: A Psychic And Fairy Type. Gardevoir will use all of it's psychic energy to protect a trainer it has made a deep connection with." The Pokedex said as it read about Gardevoir's Data with Diantha by her side, they notice Gardevoir wore something around it's neck.
"Hey, Look!" Serena said as she pointed from the crowd as Alex was confused.
"Huh? What is it?" Alex said seeing what serena was pointing at.
"Gardevoir's wearing a pendant as well." Serena said, seeing the stone inside the necklace..
"Oh wow!" Alex said in shock as he did see it.
"Yeah, You're right." Ash said realizing it.
"That's Gardevoir's mega stone." Professor Sycamore said as everyone looked at him.
"Really?" Alex said in awe. Hearing the mega stone was cool.
"Yes. Mega Stones have many different names, depending on the Pokemon that Mega Evolves. In Gardevoir's case. it's Mega Stone is called Gardevoirite." Professor Sycamore said that explaining how Mega Stones and the name works for the pokemon.
"I see." Clemont said understanding the situation.
"Wow, Interesting name for it." Alex said thinking it was a little clever.
"As long as you have both a Key stone and Mega Stone. A Pokemon can Mega Evolve." Professor Sycamore said as he knows about the Mega Evolution more.
"So cool!" Bonnie said happily.
"That's actually not enough. A Pokemon can't Mega Evolve unless the hearts of trainer and Pokemon become one." Professor Sycamore said not finishing but explaining the situation.
"Wait. What now?" Alex said, being more confused with the hearts thing.
"Hearts become one?" Ash said in confusion. Hearts as one?
"It means they need to have an exceptionally strong bond between them." Professor Sycamore said as he knew the two bits of Mega Evolution was a bond they needed to have for it to work.
"So a connection, but wait... Er nevermind." Alex said before losing it suddenly.
"Of course! That's what Diantha meant when she said the Key stone is part of their bond." Ash said realizing what the Key Stone was about.
"Ooh. It sounds like the Champion's Gardevoir possesses the power to Mega Evolve." James said as Team Rocket were nearby. but in disguises.
"Yeah! That's what i'm talking about!" Meowth said in joy.
"Diantha's a great actress, just like myself." Jessie said bragging about it.
"Oh..? How did I forget that?" James said at Jessie. Looking over at her.
"A fellow great actress's Pokemon is worthy to be my Pokemon. And that Gardevoir will be my Pokemon, Mark my word!" Jessie said wanting that Gardevoir so badly. To gloat as they had one thing.
"Marked." They all said. They had the target on their minds.
"In addition, the boss will love a pokemon that can mega evolve. Now!" Meowth said as team rocket watched but did nothing.
"Absol, let's go!" Magnus said introducing his pokemon.
"Let's do this!" Absol cried out.
"Gardevoir and Absol!" The announcer said as it was the two Pokemon..
"What's that pokemon?" Alex said as he and Serena pulled out their pokedex's and scanned the pokemon.
"Absol, The Disaster Pokemon: A Dark Type. When disasters are detected with it's horn, Absol comes down from Mountains to warn people." The Pokedex said. As it scanned Absol's Pokedex data and reading it out to the group.
"Here we go." Professor Sycamore said, getting his camera ready.
"Time for a good fight." Alex said hoping for a good matchup.
"Now, let the battle. Begin!" The Refree declared. The battle between Magnus and Diantha was underway.
MAGNUS VS DIANTHA: ONE ON ONE
"You may go first, Magnus." Diantha said, letting Magnus go first.
"Thank you. Absol, use bite!" Magnus said to his pokemon.
"Take this, Bite!" Absol said as Diantha made an eye gesture to Gardevoir who looked at her, getting a signal.
"I got it." Gardevoir said, waiting for the attack.
"Nom!" Absol said, looking around to see if it connected.
"Missed me." Gardevoir said as it was behind him. Dodging the attack without commands.
"Absol! Behind you!" Magnus said as Absol saw he missed his attack.
"What?" Absol said turning his head around.
"Now, use Quick attack!" Magnus said as Absol used his move.
"Quick Attack!" Absol said using Quick attack but Gardevoir dodged it with eye contact.
"Missed me." Gardevoir said as Quick Attack could not connect.
"Take this!" Absol said as he charged with Quick Attack but it all missed thanks to Gardevoir's communication with Diantha..
"How is she... doing that?" Alex said, being amazed how fast Gardevoir was..
"It appears Diantha and Gardevoir can communicate just by making eye contact." Clemont said, seeing how they can battle perfectly.
"Oh, Yikes." Alex said, knowing that's the most powerful thing yet.
"Oh wow, they can do that!?" Ash said in shock.
"That's amazing." Pikachu said. He was surprised to see Gardevoir move without command but communicating was strong.
"I'd have to say it's their strong bond that allows them to successfully accomplish that." Professor Sycamore said, seemingly as if Diantha had this match in the bag.
"Alright, use Psycho Cut!" Magnus said to his Pokemon.
"Psycho. Cut!" Absol said as Diantha looked ready.
"Use Shadow Ball!" Diantha said going on the offensive as Gardevoir listened to her.
"Shadow.. Ball!" Gardevoir said as Shadow ball connected through Psycho Cut.
"Huh!? Argh." Absol said being hit by Shadow Ball.
"In the case, use Perish Song." Magnus said as he wanted to end this.
"Perish Song!" Absol said using Perish Song. Diantha had an opportunity.
"And Checkmate. Use Moonblast." Diantha said, snapping his fingers.
"Moonblast!" Gardevoir said charging a pink ball and firing at Absol.
"GAH!" Absol cried as it had swirls on it's eyes and fainted.
"Absol is unable to battle, Gardevoir's the winner. Which means the victory goes to Diantha." The referee said. Diantha has won the battle against Magnus!
"Incredible!" A fan said happily.
"Diantha's amazing!" Another fan cheered.
"Wonderful!" A third fan cried out.
"She's strong." Ash said in amazement.
"She's strong indeed." Serena said in amazement also.
"Definitely a good trainer." Alex said, being worried that if he would face Diantha, he would lose.
"Gardevoir didn't mega evolve." Ash said in shock. It was good without Mega Evolution any way.
"And they still won." Clemont said watching from the stands. Professor Sycamore smiled, knowing it was over.
"Awesome!" Bonnie said as Diantha and Magnus shook hands in a good match, Ash was more excited than ever!
"Yeah! I'm gonna get her to battle me!" Ash said, wanting to battle Diantha so badly.
"We have two badges. If you somehow do that, Then that's a miracle." Alex said to his friend sarcastically.
"I'll ask her again, too. For my research." Professor Sycamore said as he put his camera down.
Brackish Town Battlefield, Inside.
"Will she comment on her victory?" A man said. Asking the guard if Diantha was available.
"Just a few words?" Another man said as the group entered once again.
"Whoa!" Ash said, the crowd was larger than before.
"More people? Give me a break!" Alex said being more annoyed about the crowd.
"They're all here again." Ash said being upset that the crowd was blocking their way.
"Everyone, Settle down. Diantha's shooting a movie right now so, she's already left the stadium." The security guard said, settling the crowd down.
"What?" The crowd said in shock that Diantha quickly left.
"Really?!" A person also in the crowd said.
"Man." Ash said being disappointed that people were crowding her situation.
"She's already gone?" Serena said in a sad tone, seeing Diantha leave was a bummer.
"Movie stars sure are busy." Bonnie said being sad that she left without letting people ask her a few questions.
"That's too bad." Clemont said as Alex just smiled.
"At least we got to see her battle." Alex said happily as everyone did nod but felt disappointed a bit.
"So what do we do now?" Ash said as Serena had an idea.
"Wait, just a sec." Serena said as she was pulling something up.
"What is it Serena?" Alex said looking at Serena.
"Let's go here!" Serena said as she pulled up a shop that looked like a bakery.
"What is that place for?" Alex said in confusion as Serena smiled at him.
"It says that they make the best chocolate cake anywhere. Let's find out." Serena said as Alex was amazed, Chocolate cake was his favorite! Although he didn't remember much, he had a small morning breakfast.
"I wanna go too!" Bonnie said in excitement, wanting to join serena.
"I sure want to have some cake. But only for me." Alex said as everyone nodded, Alex didn't eat much this morning.
"Sounds great." Ash said to her friend who wanted to join.
"Would you like to come, professor?" Clemont said looking at Professor Sycamore.

"Great." Clemont said as everyone left and hurried to the place.
Transition: Chocolate Cake Place.
"Huh? oh. There's a crowd here too!" Serena said noticing the crowd.
"Oh.." Ash said in disappointment, looking at the line.
"It seems like there's a huge crowd everywhere we go today." Clemont said as Alex began to wonder.
"Lumiose city must be a very busy busy place. I wonder if making money is easier?" Alex said seeing if he would be good making money here.
"Planning your life's future ahead of you?" Ash teased to Alex, who just glanced at him.
"Shut up." Alex muttered as Ash snickered. Though Ash was right, what if Alex wanted to work and live in Lumiose?
"But yeah." Ash said looking at the crowd, Serena wasn't having any of it.
"They're not getting me down. Let's move it." Serena said, marching for a slice.
"Right with you." Bonnie said following Serena to join her.
"Hold on! I said I wanted a slice for myself!" Alex said as followed Serena and Bonnie, wanting a slice for himself.
"Huh?!" Ash said in surprise. What was Alex doing?
"Ehh." Clemont said as they watched them get two slices.
A Few Minutes Later.
"I'm exhausted." Bonnie said, Serena held a plate of the chocolate gateu.
"Wait, you both got slices of your own?!" Ash said seeing Alex getting his own cake.
"Yeah, Not a big deal anyways." Alex said as they arrived on their table with happiness.
"But we finally managed to get a piece of cake." Serena said happily.
"I did too, But since I ate less last time we shared breakfast. I'm eating this." Alex said as ash just gave a pouty face to Alex. Which alex blew a raspberry to him.
"Can't wait to try some!" Ash said reaching for it as Alex watched.
"Hmm?" Alex said watching ash come to the cake..
"Now, Let's see... Ah!" Ash said before serena slapped his hand away from him.
"Wait!" Serena said stopping Ash. And slapping it away.
"Hah." Ash said as Alex gave a chuckle as Serena started to scold ash.
"What are you thinking?" Serena said scolding the almost there Pokémon Master.
"That slice is for the four of us! Alex made his deal that he would eat his own whole cake." Serena said as Alex smiled but he examined his cake before eating it.
"Gah!? That one slice!?" Ash said in shock, getting up from the seat.
"That's right!" Serena said being more seriously than ever.
"That's a bummer man." Alex said to ash in a sarcastic but serious tone.
"If were not splitting it, I'll just eat it by myself." Serena said being sarcastic.
"Hey! I want some!" Bonnie exclaimed to Serena, Dedenne was on top.
"Me too." Dedenne said being disappointed. Why would Serena do this?
"One slice, that's all?" Ash said disappointingly before looking over at Alex.
"Ash? What're you doing?" Serena said as Ash smiled at Alex.
"How about a little-" Ash said, before he reached to Alex's cake. A knife was pointed at him and directed on the table, everyone gasped as Alex gave ash a death stare. Ash wasn't cut but flinched.
"You don't touch my cake. I ate less than you did. I waited a LONG time in that dang line for my cake, Be glad it was the last one. But it's mine." Alex said menacingly to Ash as he withdrew his hand from Alex's cake.
"..." Ash looked silent as he withdrew his hand as Alex looked at him and stopped that stare he gave at Ash..
"Yeah, That's what I thought." Alex said as he measured his cake.
"Isn't that being greedy?" Serena said asking Alex, he then countered with his own statement.
"Is being greedy eating less than all of you combined to fit a pot of breakfast?" Alex said asking Serena as he didn't have a big breakfast. Unlike the other four this morning.
"No..?" Serena said, Alex then stopped and continued on.
"Sounds like that's my cue!" Clemont said as Alex rolled his eyes.
"Oh boy, here we go again." Alex said being a sarcastic guy once again.
"The future is now, thanks to science! Clemontic gear, on!" Clemont said being all smart with his science again holding a weird machine that has a drill.
"Clemont. What is that thing?" Alex said in confusion, not knowing what that thing he is holding.
"I thought we would encounter a situation precisely like this one. I call it the Precisely even Cut-o-matic." Clemont said, explaining his machine to the squad.
"'Precisely even Cut-o-matic?'" Serena said in confusion.
"If it blows up and ruins my cake, then the only thing is gonna get blown up is your gym leader experience when we meet." Alex said looking dead serious at Clemont who chuckled nervously..
"Don't worry Alex, Like the name suggests, it eliminates the imperfection from eyeballing a cut, making equal slices with 0.1 millimeter precision." Clemont said, explaining his decision.
"Oh wow." Alex said in amazement but in a sarcastic tone.
"We've got this one piece, it's got to be right." Ash said to his friend.
"Well. It's now or never. Just pray it doesn't go boom." Alex said, hoping Clemont doesn't get a failure.
"Hope not." Bonnie said to Alex as he watched from the table..
"Alright, here we go!" Clemont said as they were about to cut some, someone's voice was in shock.
"You're sold out already!?" The woman's voice said in disappointment.
"Huh?" The four of them said, Alex looked confused as he turned his head toward their direction.
"Oh? Who's-" Alex said as he looked over.
"I'm so very sorry." The shopkeeper said in a sad tone.
"Ah!?" The woman said in a shocked tone.
"What's her problem?" Alex whispered to himself, what was her problem?
"What a tragedy, to think I came all this way just to have a piece of this shop's award-winning chocolate. Huh, the end of the world." The woman in disguise said being in a sad tone. She was wearing a black hat with a white ribbon-tie and black buttoned shirt with a light jacket over it. Black skinny pants and boots to go along with it, she was wearing a ribbon-like scarf around the neck.
"End of the world?" Serena said, being confused.
"The end of the world...? Hey, don't be anti-climatic." Alex said feeling bad for other people sometimes.
"That's disappointment." Clemont said, feeling bad for the woman.
"Yeah, Anyways-" Alex said before ash spoke up.
"Ma'am?" Ash said to the Lady.
"Ash, Really. Don't open your mouth. We're attending something." Alex thought, he hated being interrupted by someone else at this time?
"If you're okay with a bite, we'll be happy to share ours with you." Ash said to the woman, offering for her to have some cake..
"You will?" The woman said happily to the group.
"Sure!" Ash said as she was walking over, Alex was a bit mad.
"Really? To someone we do not know of?! Why are you guys-" Alex thought as he just facepalmed sighingly.
"Oh my goodness ash." Alex whispered as Ash looked at him.
"What?" Ash said, looking at Alex.
"How do we know her?" Alex said, not knowing her would be dangerous.
"I just think it's nice to share sometimes." Ash said as Alex realized, maybe his friend was right for once.
"Hey, Haven't I seen you all somewhere before?" The woman in black clothing said as Alex was carefully ready with his knife before he noticed her.
"Huh?" Serena said as alex put away down his knife and got some water in his bottle and opening the cap.
"What? Uh, No you-" Alex said sipping his water before the woman pulled down her black sunglasses. It was Diantha in disguise!
"Hi. It's me." Diantha said as Alex was shocked by her appearance.
"Ack! Hmpf!" Alex suddenly choked on his water. And then started coughing.
"HUH!? Diantha?!" Serena, Ash, Clemont and Bonnie said in shock.
"No way!" Pikachu said in shock.
"Really?!" Dedenne said amazement. This was diantha!?
"Shhhh! Hmmhmm!" Diantha hushed before giggling, Alex caught himself once again and was shocked too on her appearance.
"Why? What? How? When?" Alex whispered to himself not even paying attention to Clemont.
"Now, where were we?" Clemont said cutting the cake into five small pieces.
"Alright!" Serena said happily. Diantha was watching the machine work.
"Science is so amazing." Ash said in excitement. He couldn't wait for Clemont's next inventions.
"Oh right, Let me split it." Alex said as he cut half of his chocolate cake and shared his share with everyone. Then he shared half his chocolate cake to Diantha.
"Oh, Thanks." Diantha said to Alex as he smiled.
"Yeah. It's nice for a champion to be shared with." Alex said being more polite then he thought.
"Aw, Thank you!" Diantha said in a happy tone. She was glad to have friends.
"Help yourself, Diantha." Serena said to the champion.
"Thank you." Diantha said as everyone was ready for the chocolate cake.
"Let's eat!" Everyone said being ready for the award winning chocolate cake.
"Mm." Everyone took a bite of the special chocolate cake.
"So good!" Everyone said happily, it was the best dessert ever!
"Wow, best chocolate cake I ever had." Alex said as Diantha looked at him.
"Yeah, Alex?" Diantha said to the boy.
"Yes? Diantha?" Alex said looking at her.
"Thanks for sharing half of yours." Diantha said as alex was a little embarrassed by smiled.
"Not a problem, It is good after all!" Alex said being a bit happy, he slightly blushed.
"Wow, best chocolate cake I ever had." Ash said being happy to enjoy it, everyone else looked at Ash and they knew it was true!
"For once, I agree with you Ash." Alex said to his friend who was happy.
"It is, the sweetness brings the bold bitterness and acidity together perfectly. A memorable cake for sure." Diantha said, tasting the flavors for the cake.
"Wow. So you love the flavor." Bonnie said to Diantha about flavor.
"You certainly know your cakes." Serena said, seeing that Diantha enjoy the cake.
"I just adore desserts." Diantha said, loving it and seemingly having a sweet tooth.
"I do, too!" Serena chimed in to Diantha.
"Me too!" Bonnie said, joining in.
"I also do too." Alex joined in with excitement.
"Me also!" Dedenne said on bonnie's head.
"Whenever I visit a town for work, I always look forward to sampling their most popular desserts whether i'm busy or not." Diantha said explaining about her time as working as a movie star in excitement.
"Really? So you get breaks from time to time?" Alex said, was she really busy a lot?
"Yes. And it is nice once in a while." Diantha said knowing it's good to not be pushed around too much,
"Movie star and Champion. Juggling two jobs must be challenging to say the least." Clemont said being surprised on Diantha's hard work.
"But I do it out of love, so it's really not work at all." Diantha said as she winked at Clemont.
"It's not a challenge if you do it for love." Alex said in amazement.
"You're so amazing!" Serena said happily to Diantha, She happily chuckled.
"That's right! You're a keeper! He-he-he!" Bonnie said walking to Diantha.
"Bonnie? Are you certain she'll do it-" Alex said as he was stopped.

"Take care?" Diantha said being confused as Clemont was stunned.
"Hehehe..." Alex giggled to himself. Clemont freaked out once again.
"I told you to stop this!" Clemont said to bonnie, panicking a bit.

"ALEX, NO!" Clemont said as Alex tried not to laugh.
"You see, my brother is a bit shy. So I thought it would be good if he married a dependable woman like you." Bonnie said making her claim about her brother once again.
"Oh man.. Bonnie." Alex said trying to laugh once again.
"Me? Marry your brother?" Diantha said with a sweatdrop confusingly to Bonnie.
"Hmph." Bonnie said as Clemont yoinked her. And wrapped around her to make her stop.
"It was a joke!" Clemont said retorting but Bonnie had none of that.
"I wasn't joking!" Bonnie exclaimed as Clemont was more embarrassed.
"There they go again." Serena said being a little chucklesome.
"You know, For someone like you. I wish you'd be my mother." Alex said to Diantha as she was surprised on hearing it, then gave a slight giggle.
"Hahah. That sounds like a small chance. But maybe." Diantha said as she winked to Alex, as a promise.
"Although the chances are small. You would be amazing as a mother since you are the champion." Alex said as he was amazed, blushing secretly.
"If it's by luck, I would be happy to accept someone like you. Being a mother for you would be amazing." Diantha said, being happy as she was young, but fit for a mother.
"Maybe. Just maybe." Alex said as he hoped his wish would be true if Diantha would fit perfectly as her mother from the world.
"Excuse me, Diantha? Please have a Pokemon Battle with me!" Ash said, asking Diantha and Alex was shocked!
"Huh?!" Alex said in a surprise tone.
"Huh? You?" Diantha said turning her head toward Ash.
"What, Ash! Why you first?" Alex said being annoyed at Ash always jumping in.
"Ash!" Serena exclaimed to Ash. He was surprised to hear Serena's voice.
"Huh?" Ash said looking at her.
"You must know Diantha doesn't get much private time and here you are bothering her this way." Serena said to Ash as Alex also joined in.
"Besides. We both only have two badges! We just got back here to explore our time and have fun on our journey together! Don't you think this is a bit sudden to go against a Champion?" Alex said to Ash about their journey from Cyllege city and earning Grant's badge.
"Yeah, but. I want to become a Pokemon Master! So having a battle with you would be awesome! Because you're the champion. Please?" Ash to Diantha, Ash was determined to have a battle with the Champion. Diantha looked at him too see if he would really prove it. Ash wasn't backing down.
"She'll say no, So that's a shame-" Alex thought in his head with a smirk.
"Alright." Diantha said with a confident look on her face.
"Huh?" Serena, Bonnie and Clemont said in surprise.
"Wait what!?" Alex said being stunned. Did he hear that correct?
"I usually turn down unofficial battles requests. But since all of you decided to share me your chocolate cake, I'll make this an exception, Just this once." Diantha said, as she said with a happy tone, Ash was excited. Alex wasn't.
"Alright! She said yes Pikachu! hahah!" Ash said happily. Alex crossed his arms, A little bit pissed.
"Lucky ducklett." Alex said in a upset tone, Ash was first to battle her? Come on, It should be me, I shared more than what Clemont did. Alex then peeked at Diantha and Alex's face looked like he was about to be scared. Diantha had the most devious smirk on her face that could tell she's gonna pummel ash without Mercy. Alex could entirely read that from one face. Oh man Ash, You are gonna get absoulutely destroyed on!
"Oh, Ash. You are totally gonna get destroyed by her. From that face? She's ready to enjoy putting you back to rookie class in Kanto." Alex said in his head, feeling bad for ash getting pummeled soon. He was glad it was not gonna be him instead.
"I see your gonna battle against the champion, eh?" Professor Sycamore said as Ash and Diantha heard him.
"Huh?" Ash and Diantha said, turning their heads to see Sycamore.
"Professor." Serena said as Sycamore reached the group.
"If you don't mind, I'd like to come watch it." Professor Sycamore said as Alex approached ash.
"I just saw her devious smirk. You are gonna get styled on." Alex said whispering in Ash's ear, Ash looked as Alex held his firm hand as your in trouble dear friend.
Transition: A Forest Battlefield somewhere.
Everyone was watching, Alex especially watched with Diantha and Gardevoir, Seeing if she would use mega evolution too see if it was the same thing that Steven did to him in Hoenn that costed him champion, Diantha looked directly at ash with confidence. Her ace: Gardevoir, looking like it was ready to battle to beat ash. Diantha spoke to ash.
"I see you're going to use Pikachu. Right?" Diantha said asking Ash about the pokemon he's using.
"Right." Ash said with confidence.
"Darn right i'm ready." Pikachu said, being more excited than ever.
"Now, I really hope to see a Mega Evolution this time." Professor Sycamore said holding his camera. Ready for us.
"Don't be embarrassed Ash! I did warn you!" Alex said, warning ash about he wanted to do.
"I won't, watch me!" Ash said to Alex as Diantha smiled.
"Hmmhmm, Someone's confident." Diantha said, she then smirked with confidence.
"Battle! Begin!" Clemont said as the battle was underway.
ASH VS DIANTHA: ONE ON ONE. (Pikachu vs Gardevoir)
"You may go first, Ash." Diantha offered the first move to Ash who seemed ready..
"Pikachu, use iron tail!" Ash said to Pikachu, making his first move..
"Iron Tail!" Pikachu said getting ready for iron tail.
".." Diantha made her gesture with her eyebrows as Gardevoir looked.
"Got it." Gardevoir said, she and Diantha had a bond.
"Take this!" Pikachu said, whipping iron tail but Gardevoir swiftly dodged out of the way.
"She Dodged!" Alex said in amazement.
"Now, Follow it up with Quick attack!" Ash said, Pikachu charged in very quickly.
"Quick Attack!" Pikachu said using quick attack.
"..." Diantha made another gesture as she seemed to smile as Gardevoir telepathically got the signal..
"Got it." Gardevoir said, understanding how she could react..
"No, No, No, No." Gardevoir was faster than Pikachu's quick attack.
"She's still too fast for Ash." Alex said, watching Pikachu miss quick attack.
"Use Electro ball!" Ash said as Pikachu jumped in the air.
"Electro Ball!" Pikachu said firing an electro ball.
"..." Diantha made a third eye gesture. She seemed to slightly smile with a more powerful side to her as Gardevoir eyed her.
"I understand." Gardevior said as she was ready.
"Hmph." Gardevoir said, dodging it in the process..
"Now! Thunderbolt!" Ash said, Pikachu's signature move. Pikachu jumped in the air.
"Thunderbolt!" Pikachu said as Diantha and Gardevoir exchange an eye gesture.
"Too Fast." Gardevoir said swiftly using the ability and psychic power to dodge.
"What!? No way!" Alex said in shock.
"Huh, wow it even dodged thunderbolt too." Ash said in shock.
"That's so amazing!" Pikachu said as he was down on ground in okay condition.
"Oh no, Ash. Ah. I warned him!" Alex said, warning about his friend's idea.
"Pikachu's moves didn't do a thing!" Serena said in shock.
"Wow!" Bonnie said in awe. This was a champion's power.
"And. Checkmate. Shadow Ball, Go!" Diantha said, getting to use her move.
"Shadow. Ball!" Gardevoir said, firing a Shadow Ball at Pikachu.
"Uh oh. OH-" Pikachu said as it directly hit him.
"Pikachu! Ngh!" Ash said, as he caught him and hit a tree. Cushioning Pikachu's damage.
"Ash!" Serena cried to Ash.
"You okay Ash?" Alex said, rushing to his friends aid.
"Oh man, That hurt. But I'm fine. Hey buddy, Are you okay too?" Ash said to Pikachu.
"Yeah. Thank you." Pikachu said.
"Ash. Does your back hurt?" Alex said, checking on Ash.
"No, It's fine. Thank you though for asking." Ash said to Alex as he was glad that ash was alright.
"I'm glad your okay man." Alex said as Ash focused on Diantha.
"Thanks Alex, Alright, The real battle starts now!" Ash said, Diantha was amazed what Ash would for his partner.
"Alex caring for Ash, And Ash really cares about his Pokemon, Alex and Ash are such a Passionate Trainers." Diantha said in her mind, How Ash saved Pikachu from being brutally hurt and taking the hit for himself was unlike any other trainer. Alex seeing if his friend was okay from the hit. They were good people, it suddenly was ruined by a cube being thrown.
"Huh?" Gardevoir said as a Cube suddenly trapped her in a cage. Surprising everyone.
"Ah!?" Everyone said in shock, Team rocket did their motto.
"Master?!" Gardevoir said in the cage being carried to Team rocket.
"Team Rocket! You're doing it again!?" Ash said being annoyed.
"Why won't you all leave us alone for once while people have a battle?" Alex said being more annoyed at Team Rocket.
"Who are they?" Diantha said in confusion.
"They're a bunch of really bad guys who go around stealing other people's pokemon." Ash said to the champion.
"They steal pokemon? What despicable people!" Diantha said being angry for taking her Pokémon like that.
"Why thank you, We'll wear that in the badge of honor." James said being sarcastic.
"More like the badge of stupidity." Alex said to himself.
"Since I'm the greatest actress off of all time. I accept your kind words." Jessie said bragging as Alex made another sarcastic sentence.
"You're not even that beautiful if you steal pokemon to come close as an actress." Alex said Jessie wasn't liking Alex for what he said.
"Alright Gardevoir, Shadow Ball!" Diantha said to her Ace.
"Shadow.. Ball! What!?" Gardevoir said, firing shadow ball before it failed breaking inside the cage.
"It didn't break!?" Alex said, being surprised.
"Oh, Smashing." James said.
"The only thing getting in and out of this box is sunlight, dig!" Meowth said.
"And! Curtain up!" Jessie said tossing a box that covered with smoke.
"Bye bye chump heads!" Meowth said as they all left.
"Ah, they're gone!" Ash cried out.
"They flew away!" Serena said as Alex was cross.
"Gosh dangit, Pidg-" Alex said as he was getting his pokeball out before Diantha stopped him.
"No, don't worry. I'll take us right to them." Diantha said.
"Diantha, wait. Do you know where Gardevoir is?" Professor Sycamore asked the champion.
"Yes." Diantha said looking at Sycamore.
"Oh... Alright. Let's go!" Alex said as everyone dashed too see where Diantha was gonna locate gardevoir.
"Come on, Clemont! Hurry up!" Bonnie cried out her brother.
"How can you tell it's this way?" Sycamore said, asking Diantha.
"It happened when I was in the Lapidarian Highlands for a film shoot." Diantha explained about what happened.
"Whoa! That's one of the last unexplored regions in the world." Professor Sycamore explained.
"Yes. That's right. A thick fog rolled into the area while we were shooting." Diantha said as a flashback occured.
Flashback
"Oh…" Diantha said, she was lost and concerned.
"Huh?" Diantha said as he key stone glowed. She walked past some rocks and saw a glimmer, It was Gardevoir walking toward her.
"It's Gardevoir!" Diantha said, running to it. And hugging her.
"Gardevoir!" Gardevoir happily said, hugging back.
"Diantha!" Kathi said as they ran through the fog, following her Gardevoir as they all saw a marvelous sight.
"Gardevoir." Gardevoir said, reminding that they were bonded together. Key stone and Mega stone.
End of Flashback.
"Later my manager Kathi Lee told me that Gardevoir had appeared from its pokeball on its own. It had guided everyone to exactly to where I had gotten lost." Diantha said as the flashback ended.
"Wow, Gardevoir can do something like that?" Ash said in amazement.
"Hm, Could it be the stones be responsible for what happened? I wonder..." Professor Sycamore said thinking in his mind.
"Maybe it's the bond that brought them together!" Alex said coming up with his theory.
"Maybe Diantha's and Gardevoir's hearts were connected and called out to each other." Ash said, alex was surprised.
"Did you say it was our hearts?" Diantha said to Ash.
"I think ash is right." Alex said to Diantha.
"Yup!" Ash said happily.
"That's a really good call ash, they represent the bond. So that must be the answer!" Alex said, agreeing with ash.
"Hmm, Huh? Gardevoir's up ahead!" Diantha said as they reached an end of the cliff.
"Huh?" Ash said as they stopped to the end of a cliff.
"Huh?" Alex and the others said, seeing the view.
"Whoa!" Alex said seeing the view.
"It's them!" Ash said as they saw their balloon.
"So let's review, this gardevoir can mega evolve." Jessie said, trying to review the facts..
"And once it's safely into the boss' hands, we'll evolve into big shots." James said with a smirk.
"A Major mega promotion!" Meowth said as they all chuckled. Ash and the others were hiding from a nearby bush. Wanting to help Gardevoir.
"They're they are." Ash said to the group.
"I'm ready to teach them about Mega-" Alex said, readying Magnemite's pokeball to battle.
"Ash, Alex. I want you all to stay here." Diantha said asking them a favor. Which got them surprirsed.
"Uh. What?" Ash said to Diantha. What was she thinking?
"Are you crazy!?" Alex exclaimed, he hated seeing Diantha get hurt.
"It'll be fine." Diantha said, stepping out from their hiding place.
"Alright. You listen, I want my Gardevoir back." Diantha said, She was serious on wanting her Pokemon back. She did mean it after all. Cause she was furious.
"How'd she find us?" James said in confusion.
"Ha! The how means nothing!" Jessie said smirkingly. But it seems they suddenly got the wrong idea as Diantha began to make a chuckle.
"We'll just see now. Gardevoir! Let's show them a few things about a strong bond." Diantha said raising her hand toward Gardevoir. Gardevoir was ready on their mega evolution.
"Sure thing!" Gardevoir said confidently.
"Strong bond?" Alex said as Diantha's Mega Charm joggled around before she grabbed it and activated her keystone.
"It's time to show them!" Gardevoir cried out as the Mega Stone reacted to the Key Stone, where lights were connecting to each other as Team Rocket were puzzled with what was going on. The group nearby were stunned!
"Look at that light!" Ash said seeing the bond activate.
"Wow!" Alex said watching from the bushes.
"Is it...?" Clemont said in shock.
"It is! That's when a Pokemon Mega Evolves!" Professor Sycamore said, knowing the light. Having his camera ready.
"Gardevoir, Mega Evolve!" Diantha said as she was ready to teach Team Rocket a lesson.
"TIME TO SHOW OFF OUR BOND!" Gardevoir said as the dress she wore became bigger, The hands were outgrown into what seemed like gloves and the crest on it's chest had splitted into two as it mega evolved!
"I'm ready!" Mega Gardevoir said as it was Mega Evolved. Which amazed everyone.
"Whoa check it out!" Ash said as Alex was amazed. This was his first Mega Evolution he witnessed.
"Amazing!" Pikachu said. He was astounded.
"Wow! It mega evolved!" Alex said in shock and delight.
"What a sight!" Serena said watching from the bushes.
"Excellent!" Clemont said in amazement.
"I love this!" Alex said watching the mega evolution.
"It's so cool!" Bonnie said happily, seeing a new Mega Pokemon before them was a dream.
"Marvelous!" Professor Sycamore said with the camera.
"Uh, I think were in trouble." Jessie said in worry.
"Chill! Our box can deal with anything that galoot dishes out." Meowth said. They were slightly worried.
"Use Shadow Ball!" Diantha said as she was serious on breaking out..
"Shadow… BALL!" Mega Gardevoir said firing multiple shadow balls, breaking the cage.
"Our box is junk!" Meowth said watching the cage break.
"Such pompous power." James said from the smoke..
"And. Checkmate, Excellent work. Use Moonblast!" Diantha said with a sinister smirk, as Mega Gardevoir floated down looking pissed at Team Rocket.
"Moon..." Gardevoir said charging a Moonblast.
"Let's make a hasty retreat!" Jessie said trying to flee.
"Step on it!" James said freaking out.
"Blast!" Gardevoir said firing a pink ball.
"We're blasting off again!" Team Rocket said. They were long gone once again.
"Awesome!" Ash said. That was cool.
"Wonderful job!" Alex said to the two.
"You did it!" Serena said as Gardevoir looked at them happily.
"Thank you everyone." Gardevoir said as she transformed back from her mega evolution.
"Huh?" Everyone said looking confused.
"Hey look, It changed back!" Bonnie said, noticing Gardevoir's change.
"That's odd." Alex said being stunned.
"Right, what makes Mega Evolution different from ordinary evolution is it isn't permanent." Professor Sycamore explained, seeing Mega Evolution cannot last a long time.
"So. It doesn't mega afterwards. So that's how it fully works." Alex said, now understanding Mega Evolution.
"Correct." Professor Sycamore said as he looked at alex.
"Huh?" They all said, hearing the sound of a helicopter. And all of them looked up to see one.
"And that's what I call, Perfect timing." Diantha said looking up.
"Diantha!" Kathi said as they lowered, the sun setted later on.
"Ash, I realize I wasn't able to finish our battle together, but it was fun." Diantha said, admitting they had a fun day.
"I thought it was fun too!" Ash said happily.
"Yeah. It was!" Pikachu said happily.
"Thanks so much to all of you." Diantha said thanking everyone.
"Will we be able to ever see you again?" Serena said asking diantha.
"I wanna talk to you more!" Bonnie said to Diantha.
"Now you shouldn't bother her like that!" Clemont said to bonnie.
"I'm sorry, I got a movie shoot I have to get to." Diantha said sadly, she was busy.
"Um, Diantha?" Alex said being a bit embarrassed.
"Hmm?" Diantha said looking at Alex.
"Do you think next time, We should know what we can share about you and spend time if you free yourself up maybe?" Alex said, Diantha was surprised on what she heard. She really was busy most of her time, but she closed her eyes and thought. Maybe it's nice to spend time.
"That… would be interesting. Maybe I should do that if I get the chance." Diantha said, being a bit cheery.
"Aw. Thanks, I need to have some kindness once with the champion." Alex said as Ash was amazed, It was that simple?
"I want to thank you for showing me the bond that's so crucial for a Pokemon to Mega Evolve." Professor Sycamore said to the champion as he was thankful..
"I'm glad that I was able to help. Take care!" Diantha said boarding the helicopter.
"Diantha?" Ash said to the champion.
"Huh?" Diantha said looking at ash once again with confidence.
"Right now, I'm training really hard to enter the kalos league." Ash said telling diantha his goal.
"I am too, that's for sure!" Alex said joining along side ash.
"So, when I win. Will you battle me again?" Ash said explaining his goal.
"That's a tall order! But. That's the spirit! Yes. I look forward to it." Diantha said, hoping ash would win too see if he can do it all. Soon the helicopter left as alex looked at Ash.
"Well. You got lucky, But when I get my turn. I'm gonna be ready." Alex said as ash chuckled with pride.
"Good luck Diantha!" Everyone said watching diantha depart via helicopter.
An encounter with Diantha has given our heroes and Professor Sycamore a deeper look into the mysteries of Mega Evolution. With Alex learning that Diantha will rematch him in a later date, it's off once again to Shalour City, as the journey continues!
