Author's Note:

Another chapter completed hopefully it's a good read and enjoy it as much we enjoy making them for you the reader

PMs should be able to work now after a bunch of testing between myself and Bishop

One last set of question for you the reader before getting into the endgame of this story:

Apzeta's questions

1. Do we introduce "Summer Rose" ( Mainly going on Bishop's theory that she's the summer maiden )

2. All out war Zaia vs Salem while the cast fight each other

3. Akira using the Mirror World's Season Maidens as one Zetsumerisekey or Progrisekey

4. Your Idea/Suggestion

Bishop's Question and note:

So been a while hope things are going well since my questions are just potential concepts

1. Use Ark-One or have Akira gain Assault Mode and have Ark use someone as a vessel

2. Pietro returning and creating "There"

3. Reintroduce Team CFVY, and Team SSSN and have their perspective on current events

4. Return to Vale for the end say what's left of Team RWBY and company discovered Akira's hideout to expand on Akira's backstory

5. Have Akira crash out like Horobi did and talk about his backstory

Till next chapter, Apzeta and Bishop

Amethyst took a step back, her smirk widening as she watched Akira took out the Thousandriver from his coat.

With a smooth motion, Akira snapped the belt around his waist, the device automatically activating upon contact.

Thousandriver: [ Thousandriver ! ]

The device's voice echoed through the air as Akira retrieved the Awaking Arsino Zetsumerisekey, its sleek, reversed design gleaming under the dim light.

With a decisive click, he inserted it into the left slot of the driver.

Thousandriver: [ Zetsumetsu Evolution ! ]

A haunting blue glow surged from the device, the energy coursing like jagged lightning along Akira's arms. He then grabbed the Amazing Caucasus Progrisekey, flicking it open as it automatically activated.

Amazing Caucasus Progrisekey: [ Breakhorn !]

Akira: Henshin !

Without hesitation, Akira slammed the key into the right slot and pushed down on the Thousandriver's handle.

Thousandriver: [ Perfectrise ! ]

Two Rider models—one resembling a monstrous Arsinoitherium, the other a hulking Caucasus beetle—materialized from the driver, circling Akira in blinding speeds before colliding with him in an explosion of molten metal and glowing energy.

Thousandriver: [When the five horns cross, the golden soldier THOUSER is born.]

The final pieces of armor locked into place as the transformation completed.

The last glow of the transformation faded, leaving Akira clad in a black and silver of the Thouser armor.

With the segmented plating, his crimson visor gleaming with a predatory glow. His crown-like horns glowing in the Sun as the final announcement played

Thousandriver: [ Presented by ZAIA. ]

Akira exhaled, rolling his shoulders as he admired his new form. Then, with a confident smirk, he turned his attention to the Happy Huntresses.

Robyn Hill, Fiona Thyme, Joanna Greenleaf, and May Marigold instinctively took a step back, their hands tightening around their weapons.

Akira scoffed, resting his hand on the hilt of his Thousand Jacker.

Akira: "Wow. I can already see it in your eyes—hesitation. Fear." He chuckled. "Let me guess… you've heard the stories, right? The ones about what happens when people fight me?"

Robyn scowled.

Robyn: "You talk big for a coward who hides behind tech."

Akira let out a dramatic sigh.

Akira: "Oh, please. If you think that's all I am, then you're already 100% wrong." His visor flashed as he tilted his head. "No… 1000% wrong."

May whispered to Joanna,

May: "Is he seriously saying that or just plain insane ?"

Joanna kept her weapon raised.

Joanna: "Don't focus on what he says—watch what he does."

Robyn tightened her grip on weapon, her eyes locked onto Akira's.

Robyn: "I've seen plenty of your type before—thugs who think power makes them invincible. But people like you? You always fall."

Akira chuckled.

Akira: "Oh? Then tell me—why do you all make the same face when you realize you can't win?" His voice dropped, his tone mocking. "You think you're different? You think you'll succeed where the others failed?"

Before Robyn could retort, Amethyst snapped her fingers.

Amethyst: "Alright We we get but enough talk."

A shrill mechanical screech filled the air as Trilobite Magia burst from the sand, their sleek metallic bodies glinting in the sun.

Amethyst: "Ready Charge !"

The robotic monstrosities rushed forward, their glowing red optics locked onto the Happy Huntresses.

Fiona: "Here they come!" Fiona shouted as she raised her hands, activating her Semblance. A field of energy shimmered around her allies just as the first Magia lunged.

Robyn barely had time to react before Akira lunged forward, his Thousand Jacker slashing downward with blinding speed.

CLANG!

Robyn barely blocked the strike with her crossbow, sparks flying from the impact. The sheer force sent her skidding backward, her boots grinding against the sand.

Akira: "Come on, Huntress," Akira taunted, twirling his weapon. "Show me that heroic spirit you always brag about!"

Robyn growled and surged forward, swinging her crossbow like a club. Akira dodged with ease, weaving between her strikes before delivering a sharp kick to her ribs.

She grunted, rolling with the impact before pivoting and firing a bolt at point-blank range.

Akira smirked as he raised his gauntleted hand—catching the projectile mid-air before crushing it.

Akira: "Pathetic or Predictable maybe both."

Robyn grit her teeth. "You talk too much."

She surged forward, this time shifting into rapid close-quarters combat, her movements faster and more fluid.

Akira parried each strike with his Thousand Jacker, the two warriors exchanging blows in a violent dance of steel.

Meanwhile, the other Happy Huntresses fought desperately against the Trilobite Magia, dodging razor-sharp claws and mechanical limbs.

Joanna fired a barrage of bolts from her Crossbow Staff, piercing through the mechanical soldiers with practiced precision.

May used her Semblance to vanish and reappear behind a Magia, slashing through its torso with her daggers before blinking away again.

Fiona aided Joanna, blocking an incoming energy blast before retaliating with a shockwave of kinetic force.

But despite their efforts, more Magia kept coming.

And Robyn was running out of stamina.

Akira saw it—the slight hesitation in her step, the split-second delay in her parries.

Akira: "You're slowing down," he observed, sidestepping a desperate shot before landing a devastating punch to her stomach.

Robyn gasped, stumbling back as Akira loomed over her, his Thousand Jacker crackling with golden energy.

Akira: "I'll give you one last chance," he said, his voice low. "Stay down."

Robyn spat onto the ground.

Robyn: "Not happening."

Akira's smirk widened. "Good." Akira presses the Amazing Caucasus Progrisekey and a announcement is heard

Thousandriver: [ Thousand Destruction! ]

Akira's foot gleamed with purple energy, golden lines crackling around him as he twisted mid-air.

His roundhouse kick connected first, slamming into Robyn Hill's midsection and sending her skidding back.

Before she could recover, he followed up with a powerful side kick, launching her into the air.

The moment she hit the ground, her Aura shattered like glass, leaving her completely vulnerable.

Robyn crumpled onto the ground, unconscious. The voice of the Thousandriver rang out, devoid of sympathy.

Thousandriver: [ Presented by ZAIA. ]

A sharp gasp came from Fiona Thyme as she watched their leader fall.

Joanna Greenleaf gritted her teeth while May Marigold instinctively shifted into a defensive stance.

But before any of them could act, the Trilobite Magias surged forward again, forcing them to fight off the mechanical monsters.

From above, Amethyst grinned, pulling out her Forceriser. She quickly activated her Nevermore Progrisekey, its mechanical cry echoing through the battlefield.

Nevermore Progrisekey: [ Screech ! ]

Amethyst slammed the Key into her Forceriser before yanking the Force Executor down. A mechanical model of a Nevermore shot out, circling her before folding its wings around her body.

With a metallic shimmer, the Nevermore shattered, revealing her in her Rider form—sleek, dark armor resembling the infamous avian Grimm.

Forceriser: [ Forcerise! Screeching Nevermore Breakdown! ]

With a burst of speed, Amethyst shot forward, scooping up Robyn's unconscious form.

Fiona: "Robyn!" Fiona cried out, but Amethyst ignored her, taking off into the sky.

May growled, stepping forward to stop her, but before she could, Akira made his move.

He raised the Thousand Jacker, its blade crackling with energy as he slashed forward.

Thousand Jacker: [ Jackrise! ]

May felt a searing pain rush through her body as a glow of energy was forcibly pulled from her, her Semblance—Invisibility Field—being extracted.

Her Aura flickered wildly, nearing its breaking point.

Akira smirked as the sensation of her Semblance settled into his body.

Akira: "I've taken your ability. Wonder how it works."

With a flicker of movement, he activated it, momentarily blending into the shadows before appearing behind May in an instant.

He slashed again, and with that final strike, her Aura shattered. She gasped, eyes rolling back as she fell unconscious onto the ground.

Joanna: "Damn it!" Joanna shouted. She and Fiona moved in tandem, their crossbow staffs aimed directly at Akira—only for two loud gunshots to ring out.

Both Huntresses were sent tumbling to the ground as Neo—fully transformed using her Raidriser—stood in their path.

The Dead Monochrome rifle smoked from its freshly fired shots.

Fiona groaned, pushing herself up, only to see Neo take aim once more.

The Raidriser's mechanical voice echoed as she activated her Finisher.

Raidriser: [ Scouting Bolide! ]

A concentrated blast of energy erupted from Neo's rifle, striking Joanna square in the chest.

Her Aura shattered instantly, and she crumpled onto the ground, unmoving.

Fiona, now alone, looked around frantically. Robyn was gone. May and Joanna were unconscious.

The Trilobite Magias circling around them.

Her hands trembled as she looked up at Akira, Neo, and the remaining forces of Zaia Enterprise.

She was outnumbered.

Slowly, she dropped her weapon.

Akira tilted his head slightly before smirking. "Good choice."

Fiona stood still, her breathing unsteady as the Trilobite Magias lowered their weapons.

The mechanical soldiers waited for their next order.

Akira deactivated the Thousandriver, his armor fading in a digital shimmer, returning him to his unarmored state. He rolled his shoulders, exhaling as he stretched his neck.

Neo, standing a few steps away, did the same with her Raidriser, pressing the device to deactivate it.

The sleek, combat-ready plating of her transformation faded, revealing her new attire—a crisp white coat, black pants, black vest, red tie, and the familiar hat of Roman Torchwick perched atop her head.

With a casual motion, she adjusted the brim of the hat, letting a small smirk curl on her lips. She had done well—the outcome had satisfied her.

Akira turned his gaze toward her, his expression neutral.

Akira: "You're getting used to talking now, aren't you?"

Neo's smirk widened, and she gave a small nod, tilting her head slightly.

Neo: "Feels… nice," she said, her voice smooth yet eerily soft, as if she was still getting accustomed to using it.

For someone who had spent most of her life silent, this was a new experience—but one she relished.

Akira chuckled, crossing his arms.

Akira: "Glad to hear it. You'll need that voice for what comes next."

Neo simply grinned, her eyes glinting with amusement.

[ Small Time Skip ]

[ Zaia Enterprise— Special Interrogation Room ]

Inside one of Zaia Enterprise's secured interrogation room, the Happy Huntresses sat restrained in reinforced chairs, their straight jackets preventing them from making any sudden movements.

Robyn Hill, Fiona Thyme, Joanna Greenleaf, and May Marigold—all captured, all bound.

Their wrists and torsos were tightly secured, ensuring zero possibility of escape.

Onyx stood near the center of the room, his expression cold and unreadable. His synthetic body barely moved as his piercing eyes analyzed the captives.

Peridot leaned against the wall, twirling a screwdriver between her fingers, humming an off-tune melody

Her synthetic irises adjusted as she looked over them, amused by their predicament.

Neo stood at the back, arms crossed, observing in silence—until a small chuckle escaped her lips.

Robyn, still groggy from the fight, glared at her captors.

Robyn: "What the hell do you plan to do?" she growled, struggling against her restraints.

Onyx tilted his head.

Onyx: "Simple. Information."

Joanna scoffed.

Joanna: "And what makes you think we'll tell you anything?"

Peridot grinned, stepping closer.

Peridot: "Oh, I dunno… Maybe because I love games, and I always play to win."

She leaned down, her glowing green irises narrowing.

Peridot: "And let's just say… I really don't like losing."

Fiona swallowed hard, looking toward Robyn, who kept her glare locked onto Onyx.

Robyn: "You won't break us."

Neo, adjusting her hat once more, let out a soft laugh.

Neo: "We'll see."

[ Zaia Enterprise—Landing Area ]

Meanwhile, in another part of Zaia Enterprise, several Bullheads touched down on the landing platform, their engines humming as the ramps lowered.

A massive crowd of 500 new employees disembarked, stepping onto the sleek, futuristic landing area.

They were a mix of engineers, scientists, medical workers, and huntsmen and huntresses, all handpicked for their expertise.

At the center of the platform, a long table and several seats had been prepared.

Standing at the front, Akira, Amethyst, Adam, and Ruby waited.

Akira, dressed now in a white suit, stood with an air of a CEO. His hands rested on the podium set before him, where a microphone awaited.

Adam, his arms crossed, silently scanned the incoming workers.

Amethyst, her frame perfectly still, merely observed, her red optics flickering slightly.

Ruby, standing beside them, looked around at the employees—a little anxious

Once all 500 employees were gathered, Akira stepped forward, gripping the microphone.

With a charismatic smirk, he addressed the crowd.

Akira: "Welcome to Zaia Enterprise."

The employees stood at attention, eager and excited.

Akira: "Each of you was chosen for a reason. Your skills, your dedication, and your drive to push the world forward evolution."

He paused, scanning the crowd.

Akira: "And in this company, I expect you all to be 1000% ready for anything."

A murmur of excitement ran through the employees.

Akira: "With that said—line up into five lines. Each of you will receive a Zaia Spec—your key to your respective duties."

With precision, the employees quickly formed five orderly lines.

From behind the table, Akira, Amethyst, Adam, and Ruby began handing out the Zaia Specs.

The Zaia Spec—a sleek earpiece with a silver metallic base and red circuit-like accents—was given to each employee. Some received the glasses variant, while others took the earpiece and contact lens combination.

As the employees placed the Zaia Specs on their ears or glasses, a small holographic interface activated, displaying their assigned roles.

Ruby, watching the eager employees, couldn't help but feel a little anxious as well excited now fully feeling part of something with a promise.

As she handed out another Zaia Spec with a small smile.

[ A Day later ]

[ Zaia Enterprise – Top Floor: Akira's Office ]

Akira stood near the large floor-to-ceiling window, his hands in his pockets as he observed the holographic display of Zaia Enterprise's data graphs.

Numbers, logistics, employee efficiency ratings—all were progressing according to plan.

With the opening day running smoothly, he couldn't help but smirk.

Akira: "So far, so good."

Behind him, Ruby leaned against a sleek black chair, arms crossed, trying to process everything.

Ruby: "It's kinda crazy, y'know? Just yesterday we were fighting for our lives, and now… this?"

Amethyst, standing beside the desk with her arms clasped behind her back, responded in a calm voice.

Amethyst: "Evolution often requires abrupt change. Progress waits for no one."

Adam, sitting on the edge of the desk with his arms crossed, scoffed.

Adam: "As long as we don't get complacent. The more power we gain, the bigger the target on our backs."

Akira turned to face them, nodding.

Akira: "Exactly. That's why we keep pushing forward. The world will resist, but we'll outpace them before they can act."

Ruby hesitated for a moment, gripping the armrest of her chair.

Ruby: "And… what about my old teammates?"

Silence filled the office. Akira's expression didn't change, but Amethyst and Adam exchanged a glance.

Amethyst: "They will resist."

Adam: "They'll come for us. For you."

Ruby looked down. She knew that. She wasn't naive. But still… hearing it made her sick.

Akira: "And when they do, we'll be ready."

Akira looks at Ruby before taking a deep breath.

Akira: "When the time comes it will be your call"

Ruby then looks at Akira.

Ruby ( With Malice on her Silver eyes ): "In that case... Don't hold back."

[ Vacuo – Resistance Hideout ]

A holographic projection flickered to life in the dimly lit room, displaying images of MetsubouJinrai dot net—Akira, Adam, Amethyst, Onyx, and Peridot. Each face stared back at them with eerie stillness.

Weiss, Blake, Yang, Qrow, Taiyang, Jaune, Ren, Nora, and Winter Schnee sat around a large steel table, their expressions grim.

Qrow took a sip from a metal flask before muttering.

Qrow: "So that's the lineup, huh?"

Winter, arms crossed, glared at the projection.

Winter: "Androids, a cyborg, and two humans who are just as dangerous."

Taiyang leaned forward, his eyes narrowing.

Taiyang: "Ruby's in there too. We need to get her back."

Yang, gripping her armrest, nodded.

Yang: "She doesn't belong with them."

Blake, frowning, tapped her fingers against the table.

Blake: "She chose to be there."

Silence filled the room. No one wanted to say it, but Blake was right.

Jaune, breaking the tension, pointed at the projection.

Jaune: "We're focusing too much on them and not the real threat."

Ren glanced at him.

Ren: "What do you mean?"

Jaune exhaled, rubbing the back of his head.

Jaune: "The Ark."

The room fell deathly quiet.

Jaune: "We keep talking about Akira and his androids, but we're forgetting what makes them dangerous in the first place. The Ark is their greatest weapon. I fought it once. It used Akira as a vessel… and I didn't stand a chance."

Yang, Blake, and Weiss shuddered as their minds flashed back to Ruby's transformation into Ark-Rose—the sheer, overwhelming power of it.

Taiyang frowned, confused.

Taiyang: "The Ark?"

Qrow, equally curious, asked,

Qrow: "What the hell is the Ark?"

Winter, tilting her head, studied Jaune's expression.

Winter: "Explain."

Jaune's fists clenched as he recalled the battle.

Jaune: "The Ark is an AI that Akira created. It's not just intelligent—it's malice incarnate."

He looked down at the table.

Jaune: "It beat me fast. I couldn't react, couldn't fight back… It was like it knew every move I was going to make before I made it."

Weiss, regaining her composure, crossed her arms.

Weiss: "That's… concerning."

She took a deep breath before adding,

Weiss: "But Akira has one weakness."

All eyes turned to her.

Weiss: "He doesn't know how to use his Aura."

Ren furrowed his brows.

Ren: "What?"

Winter nodded in agreement.

Winter: "She's right. Despite having his Aura unlocked, Akira has no experience in using it effectively. And on top of that… he still hasn't discovered his Semblance."

Jaune blinked, realizing they had completely overlooked that fact.

Jaune: "You're saying… he's vulnerable?"

Weiss: "Relatively speaking, yes. As powerful as he is, Aura could be his weakness."

Yang, cracking her knuckles, smirked slightly.

Yang: "Then we use that."

Blake, however, remained skeptical.

Blake: "Even without his Aura, Akira is still dangerous."

Weiss: "I'm not saying we underestimate him. I'm saying we use his weaknesses against him."

Taiyang, looking at the holographic projection of , exhaled sharply.

Taiyang: "Then we take them down. And we bring Ruby back."

Qrow, taking another sip from his flask, muttered,

Qrow: "Easier said than done."

Jaune, staring at the projection of the Ark, clenched his jaw.

Jaune: "We'll have to be ready. Because if we're not…"

His grip tightened.

Jaune: "…We're walking into a suicide mission."

[ Zaia Enterprise – Akira's Office – Night ]

The dimly lit office hummed with soft electronic noises as Akira tapped a few keys on his desk, closing his open data files.

The skyline of the city stretched behind him, illuminated by neon lights and a massive Zaia Enterprise logo shining against the night sky.

He exhaled, rubbing his temple as he leaned back in his chair.

Then, with a soft ding, the elevator doors slid open.

Akira didn't need to look. He already knew who it was.

Oscar Pine.

Or rather, the one truly paying this visit—Ozpin.

Oscar stepped forward, his posture tense but resolute. The boy had changed—no longer the scared farmhand who had been thrown into this war.

Akira smirked. "Well now, this is quite the surprise…" He finally turned his gaze towards him, the soft glow of the glass chessboard reflecting off his crimson eyes. "Then again, not really. I figured you'd show up eventually."

Oscar studied him carefully, taking slow steps into the office.

Oscar: "I'm not here to fight."

Akira chuckled, motioning to the empty seat across from him.

Akira: "Of course not. That wouldn't be your style. Take a seat. I've already prepared something for this little occasion."

As Oscar hesitated, his eyes flickered to the chessboard. It was elegant—made of pristine glass, with equally delicate glass pieces. A game already set up, waiting.

Akira rested his chin on his palm.

Akira: "You do play, don't you?"

Oscar sighed, stepping forward.

Oscar: "I suppose I have no choice." He pulled out the chair and sat down, his fingers lightly grazing a pawn. Then, his expression shifted. His shoulders relaxed ever so slightly.

And when he spoke next, it was in a voice that wasn't his own.

Ozpin.

Ozpin: "Good evening, Akira," Ozpin greeted with that ever-polite, ever-knowing tone.

Akira smirked.

Akira: "Evening, old timer."

He gestured toward the board.

Akira: "Since you're my guest, why don't you take the first move?"

Ozpin's fingers curled around a pawn, moving it forward.

Ozpin: "Very well."

And so, the game began.

Glass clinked softly as pieces moved, each decision precise and calculated. But more than just a game, this was a conversation—a battle of philosophies.

Akira: "To be honest with you, old timer, your Huntsmen aren't heroes."

He moved his knight, smirking.

"They're more like mercenaries than protectors—fighting for status, money, or just to be the bigger fish in the pond. Few ever actually care about saving people. People like Ruby or Jaune ? They're rare."

Ozpin exhaled, contemplating his move.

Ozpin: "An interesting perspective. Though, I won't deny that many Huntsmen and Huntresses join for selfish reasons…"

He moved his bishop.

Ozpin: "That does not mean they are all beyond redemption."

Akira scoffed, leaning back.

Akira: "Redemption? They don't need redemption, they need to face reality."

His hand hovered over his rook.

Akira: "Your so-called protectors do more harm than good. They weed out the weak. Look at Raven Branwen. Look at Vacuo. People like them see strength as the only law, because that's what the Huntsmen enforce."

He slid the rook forward.

Akira: "And when the weak can't keep up? They die."

Ozpin's fingers tightened around his piece.

Ozpin: "That is not the intention of Huntsmen. We exist to protect those who cannot fight for themselves."

Akira smirked.

Akira: "You say that, yet you let an entire system develop where power decides worth."

He tapped his fingers against the table.

Akira"And worse? you made a mistake wiping out the former kingdoms' militaries. Because now, you have rogue Huntsmen with no one to keep them in check."

Ozpin studied the board, thinking carefully before making his move.

Ozpin: "Then tell me, Akira, if you had the power to change it… what would you do?"

Akira's smirk widened with Malice.

Akira: "Simple. I already am."

A move.

Akira: "And when I'm done, there won't be a need for Huntsmen at all."

Ozpin frowned.

Ozpin: "And yet, you would have them replaced with soldiers. Enforcers of a different system. Would that truly be better?"

Akira shrugged. "At least my soldiers won't pretend to be heroes."

Akira: "Then again what do I know I was just in the crossfire of everything."

As the game progressed, the conversation took a different turn.

Akira slid his queen into position.

Akira: "Let's talk about something more interesting. Your so-called 'Brother Gods.' "

Ozpin looked up, his grip tightening.

Akira grinned.

Akira: "They're not gods, Oz. Just beings from another realm. The Ever After."

Ozpin blinked.

Ozpin: "What?"

Akira leaned forward.

Akira: "Think about it like this. The Ever After doesn't follow the same rules as Remnant. It exists outside of time, outside of reason. A place where death doesn't work the same way. A place where memories shape reality. Sound familiar?"

Ozpin remained silent.

Akira: "Your gods weren't divine beings. They were intruders. Interlopers. And their so-called 'immortality curse' on Salem and yourself ?"

Akira chuckled.

Akira: "A mistake."

Ozpin inhaled deeply, staring at the board.

Ozpin: "Even if what you say is true… what does it change?"

Akira's smirk darkened.

Akira: "It changes everything. If your 'gods' were smarter, they would've let you talk to her. Maybe then, none of this would've happened."

He made his final move, locking eyes with Ozpin.

Akira: "Then maybe this world wouldn't be headed toward oblivion for the second time or third time"

With a click, the glass king toppled over.

Checkmate.

Ozpin closed his eyes for a moment before exhaling softly.

Ozpin: "You've spoken to Tsukasa."

Akira smirked.

Akira: "Of course."

Ozpin nodded. "And the Demon Lord of Time as well, I assume."

Akira leaned back.

Akira: "Naturally."

A pause.

Then Ozpin spoke, his voice barely above a whisper.

Akira: "So… you know the truth."

Akira's smirk faded slightly.

Akira: "Yeah. I know."

Silence stretched between them, the weight of their knowledge settling in the air.

Finally, Akira broke it with a quiet chuckle.

Akira: "Maybe we can hold Salem back for a while, Oz. Maybe even delay the inevitable. But you and I both know..."

His gaze darkened.

Akira: "Remnant is doomed that's the Conclusion myself Decade and Zi-O reached."

Ozpin lowered his head slightly, as if he had already known this answer but hoped for something else.

Akira exhaled, standing up.

Akira: "That'll be all for tonight."

Ozpin rose from his chair, his expression unreadable.

Ozpin: "You intend to fight against fate, then?"

Akira smirked as he walked toward the window, hands in his pockets.

Akira: "Maybe."

Ozpin gave him a long, unreadable stare before finally turning away, walking toward the elevator.

As the doors began to close behind him, he left Akira with one last statement.

Ozpin: "Then I hope, for all our sakes, that you're as prepared as you think you are."

The doors shut.

Akira let out a quiet chuckle.

Akira: "Oh, I'm counting on it."
