UNSC losses had been light twelve men dead eighty wounded none critically. Although the fleets infermaries were overloaded with both civilian and military wounded from the planet. The UNSC's more advanced medical technology doing what Colonial doctors could only dream of flash cloning missing limbs and grafting them onto people was the largest boon to these people the biofoam had saved hundreds if not thousands of people to reach proper medical facilities.
Jackson looked over the compiled list of extended munitions everything from MA5B assault rifles to the MACs in orbit and sent shopping list to the Artemus and her manufacturing plants to ensure new munitions continued to fill the magazines of the troops and ships.
As Jackson started to open the next report a knock made him look up "Enter."
The hatch opened and Arron Wilson followed by two men one man in a strange solid black uniform sporting a double bronze eagle on his collar, And another man in a charcoal grey uniform with a single gold eagle on his collar carrying a sliver briefcase with odd lettering on his breast were a name patch would be for a UNSC uniform, Brians cerebral implant automatically translating it to James Parks.
"The Colonials General James Parks just arrived Sir,"Arron Wilson reported gesturing to the man."As well as the senior surviving Colonial naval officer "Rear Admiral Tomas Walton.
Biran stood and reached a hand out over his desk "Pleasure to meet you face to face General Parks, Admiral Walton" he broke for a moment as the General grasped his wrist instead of his hand before quickly recovering to copy for the …wrist shake with the Admiral and continuing. "I'm Captain Brian Jackson."
The two men looked at the pad on their wrist as Brians words were translated for them to read. "I must say Captain your arrival and assistance is greatly appreciated and more then likely saved every person living on the planet and disabled Battlestars." the Admiral said with a pause looking around and not seeing any written translation for his words "Can you understand me when you speak all i hear is another language. But you seem to understand our language now."
Brian nodded with a small smile "Yes Admiral." and pointed to his interfaces external port just behind his ear at the base of his skull. "Its because we have a neural interface."
At the word interface the both Colonials eyes widen as the Admiral Walton leans back looking around noticing the same port on Aaron's head as well. "We had tech like that decades ago, the holoband. Before the Cylons rebelled forty three years ago, once the war ended in a armistice certain groups took power using the fear of a new uprising to keep tech like that from developing again."
The General and Admiral then give them a brief rundown of the revolt the uprising and the war followed by forty years of silence as the cylons left them alone of the new twelve colonies of Kobol and how the last few years human nature was again pushing technology forward.
A Ensign brought in a tray with food from the mess deck along with some hot coffee. The smell of coffee brought the Admiral back to his senses "Captain as you may not know the attack two days ago isn't a isolated occurrence. Just before the Cylon jamming took everything offline we received word that the other colonies were also under attack. And i know your fleet isn't all powerful but we should try to save as many as possible. To get back in the fight before we are nuked into extinction. i know it would be impossible for your fleet to drive them away from the Colonies but any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated." by time he finished the general was nodding along strongly.
"We are but six ships we couldn't possibly push them back by ourselves but i think we can help save some." Brian leaned forward "ill need information fleet rally points, codes, and navigational data and are any of the ships in dock operational to assist us?"
General parks nearly collapses in relief at Brians promise of assistance, the Admiral nods as well knowing they are doomed if these UNSC decide to leave after all this isnt their war. "Of course ill insure all information is transferred as soon as i get im sure the General here has already thanked you but allow me to as well without your intervention planetside much less the dockyards this war would of been a short one."
"Your quick intervention before they could target the entirety of the shipyard facilities ensures we can fight and rebuild. the reason Minos and Perseus had gone out to meet the Cylons alone is about a week ago we received a update to the Command Navigation Program witch is the compartmentalized base operating system that was developed after the war..first war" he corrects himself "nearly every ship had some issues with the program causing some light to moderate damage. All effort was thrown into getting the two Battlestars operational and then focus on their escorts as well as the planets defense fleet." he paused making a tightened white knuckled fist before he took a breath and continued.
"Once the shut down order that your code specialist from the Trebuchet i believe…" Jackson nodded and the Admiral continued "they still hit each of the eighteen battlestars that was docked with at least four nukes causing serious damage to the facilities and nearby shipping as well. Salvage orders have already been issued to pull and decontaminate everything we can there were no survivors." he paused swallowing "there were however fourteen Berzerk class cruisers nine of witch are undamaged and after having a older CNP reinstalled are operational."
The Admiral pulled a sheet of paper from his briefcase and handed it to the Captain who saw it was technical specifications for the Berserks skimming it the implant translating it for him:

But outwardly he just nodded, allowing him to continue "while some were destroyed or heavily damaged we do also have seven Minotuar class Gunships in fighting condition." he pulled another sheet and handed it to the Captain.

Another nod of approval was his only response as he looked back and forth between the ships and their specifications.
"And finally" the Admrial continued "while only one is operational their are four Atlas class Carriers." a final sheet was handed over

That ship looked to be the most useful the only weapon stronger then that on the UNSC arsenal was the MAC.
These numbers must not be translating right their "heavy" guns were the same as Sentry autocannons… so all together twenty two Colonial ships to assist the six of the UNSC.
The General spoke up as well "i also have two thousand troops under my command it may not be much but to save our people we will all step forward."
"Very well." Captain Brian Jackson said standing up causing both General Parks and Admiral Walton to rise "planning shall commence immediately
Hey guys hope your enjoying the story so far forgive me on the size of the Colonial ships as far as i can remember in the shows or games it never really goes into serious detail unlike halo so i made some numbers up that….felt right as well as measurements and crew numbers like the hell you can look it up and find out a UNSC Paris class frigate (thanks Spacedock Halopidia etc) and find out everything you need to know.
BUT look up Atlas class Carrier you find some background history as a virgon design and not much else.
