28 days 2nd Cylon war
Scorpia
Father Jerimiah Cavil as the humans knew him looked over the long line of Colonial, Virgonese, and leonisese military and civilian personnel stretching around the block of the prefabricated building he had been given as a chappel outward he appeared caring and compassionate ready to listen to the sins and worries of his flock and offer what advice he could from the gods.
Inwardly he seethed at every single one of these pathetic inferior humans they should all of died by now he thought as movement caught his attention. Without making it obvious he looked and Jerimiah's synthetic blood boiled with contained rage. It was a man in a uniform that stuck out compared to the other colonial uniforms he knew. The void black uniform with a bright white twine draped over his chest a large bronze eagle holding a globe in its talons with the strange letters he had been told said U.N.S.C or United Nations Space Command. On the other side of the man's uniform were some other letters he didn't understand.
He had yet to speak to a single one of the strange humans. Perhaps this was his chance. Figure out who they are and how they got here. Looking at the crowd he smiled his best "I'm here to ease your worries" smile. "I'll be right back to my children. I wish to thank this young man for his part in helping the gods in their children's time of need."
They started shaking their heads and muttering "of course father."
Jeremiah turned and walked up to the man and said "hello my son."
The man didn't respond for a moment and then a synthesized voice said something in a strange language. The man responded in the same language and as Jeremiah cocked his head in confusion the artificial voice spoke again this time in Colonial standard. "Hello sir. Is everything alright?"
"Of course my son," The priest smiled. "I just wanted to know more about the strangers that the Gods sent to save their children in their hour of need."
"Well that's a better idea then the current rumor i've heard about how we got here but nothing is known yet it's just speculation." the man said holding out his hand "im Lance Corporal Eric Henderson."
Jeremiah grasped the man's wrist and shook it "I am Father Jeremiah Cavil. And I'm an instrument of the gods. It's a pleasure to meet you Eric."
Henderson fumbled a moment with the weird wrist shake but recovered "yes sir same here. So father, I'm curious about your faith."
With a mental grin Cavil merely cocked an eyebrow."that makes two of us child" he smiles politely "what queries do you have my son and perhaps you can answer some of mine?"
Henderson nodded so your people worship twelve gods and goddesses right? And each of the twelve planets you used to populate had one as its primary deity. How was that decided? Like who decided Scorpia was Dionysus? The god of games and drinking."
The question shocked Jeremiah and he blinked "well yes my child we do worship twelve gods and each of our worlds has a Patron." Cavil answers "as to how the Colonies and gods got paired the way they did that can be found in the ancient scrolls when our people fled Kobol to settle the twelve worlds they arrived in twelve arks each of them baring the name of a god." he gestures around at the planet of Scorpia "the Ark Dionysus settled here and the planet gained the name of the Arks standard which in Dionysus was a Scorpian."
Henderson looked thoughtful for a moment before asking ""So the Ark Apollo settled Caprica and its standard was a Capricorn? What is that?"
Jeremiah smiled " according to the scrolls it was a mythical and generous sea creature on Kobol that had physical manifestations of a goat and a fish. Legions say if sailors saw one on Kobol their ship would have good luck and a bountiful harvest from the sea. Now I have answered two of your questions. Can you answer two of mine in return?"
Henderson nodded "if i can Sir i will."
"Where do your people come from? Your ships, weapons, even your language makes it clear you're not from here." Jerimiah asked "How did you come to be here?"
Henderson replied "Me personally, I'm from a planet called Ixion in the Lapith system." Henderson said "as for how we got here I'm not really sure we were responding to a fleet rally order of one of our major shipyard and military star systems next thing the people who were awake knew we were here."
Jeremiah goes to ask another question but Henerson holds his hand to his ear and says he has to go and starts jogging away.
The father goes back and continues slowly picking the minds of hundreds of military and civilian humans before sending a massive data packet through the Cylon system

The leader of the cylons known as ones John Cavil stood on the Basestar flagship looking over his grand fleet. It had been two days since Father Jeremiah had killed himself to bring all the information he had collected to John to plan the assault on Scorpia. His hand interfaced with the hybrid who had access to the full report he learned about these UNSC people.
The UNSC on the planet of Scorpia had only a dozen warships and five of them were so small he didnt see how much help they would be worth. The main problem would come from the other eight and their MAC guns he had trouble comprehending something weighing several tons being fired and nearly half the speed of light without a jumpdrive. But he had heard from other humanoid cylons that had resurrected the firepower they had.
But if they waited too long that would change according to Jeremiah's report the UNSC had been given control of one of Scorpia's shipyards and after a refit two ships about the size of their Frigate Rushmore were under construction. And there was some kind of oddly shaped space station under construction as well. If the Cylons waited too long they would keep building and before you know it the Cylons would be outnumbered.
The colonials had been busy as well scooping up several hundred wrecked and disabled warships before his own forces could pick them up for repair or scrapping. He looked over the number of Colonial warships and smiled. At least they wouldn't be getting any ships out of the fleet depots and ghost fleet yards. He had grabbed almost every ship in them and destroyed the rest. Several dozen warships that had been disabled either by the CNP or by infiltrators opening airlocks had been recovered leaving only floating scrap and debris.
It would take a week to manufacture enough centurions to properly man the colonial ships even after the forces he had crawled through them automating what they could. But if the last month of fighting the Colonials and these UNSC had taught him anything they were going to need as many ships as they could muster.
A tone and a flash announces the arrival John Cavil had been waiting on. An Artemis class battlestar had just arrived filled with nearly fifty thousand Centurans enough to finally bring the rest of the ships up to strength.
He looked over the massive fleet of four hundred Cylon basestars and the eight hundred or so Cylon controlled Colonial warships and with a spine chilling grin he held his hand in the holographic interface and thought a single word.
JUMP.
Hey guys sorry for the late update you would not believe the rabbit hole i looked into trying to figure out how the individual colonies got their assigned god patrons like why is Scorpia a shipyard planet patron dionysus the greek god of booze and parties instead of a more mechanical god but anyway i hope you liked how i chose to resolve that

Hey ghostly yeah i watched more ODP videos then i care to mention lol giving me plenty of information of the E=mc squared ballistics and yields of various Mac parameters ranging from the series 6 ODP to infinity's series 8 but nowhere was it mentioned any unique materials so i figured a shipyard complex like Scorpia F and the massive manufacturing bays of the Artemis for the more finicky bits it can be done.
Hey Guest talking about the Titan class Apophis dude yeah go check out the original story i took the class from Depot Veil by Monbade (RIP) if you google it there are some fan made diagrams
As to capturing the shipyards intact it stands to reason when they shut the fleet down they planned on crewing them after the humans starved or died because why not just detonate the ships reactors? By disabling it I think it shows they wanted to seize most of the colonial fleet for themselves.
Anyway keep reading and reviewing
