The Holy Sword imbued with the powers of the spirit
"So you want us to help you in disabling this?" Fanzall asked as he, Dominante and Mairella stared at series of runes which is apart of the larger circle and is responsible for the second exit for the Devils, the one that leads into Wonder World.
"That's correct. As this is attached to the original portal, we have to disable it from this side." Tassel explained with a smile on his face.
"Hmmm. It doesn't look too bad to undo…" Dominante muttered with a deep thinking expression on her face as she examine the magic circle, her knowledge on witchcraft acting up.
"That's good to hear. But we have to a quickly, Storious may likely be able to sense that someone is attempting to disabling his spell, despite Leavatienn distracting him…..hopefully." Tassel said, saying the last part in a slight unsure tone of voice since Leavateinn needs to find Storious first.
"If anything happen to Mars, I'm going to kill you." Fanzall said, glaring slightly at the bookkeeper(?).
"T-there's no need to fear. Leavateinn will surely find allies to help him." Tassel responded quickly, hoping to calm Fanzall down.
"….." Fanzall became silent as he continued to stare at Tassel.
"We should get prepared, Teacher. We don't know when the Devils may attack." Mairella pointed out as she glanced about, keeping a watch out in case any Devils spotted them.
"…..Right." Fanzall said after a few seconds of still remaining silent before creating a wind-bladed sword and began to walk in a direction, followed by Mairella who is creating an ice-made weapon of her own…..who also gave Tassel a glare over her shoulder.
"S-scary." Tassel muttered whilst shaking slightly.
"Well, let's get to work then!" Dominante said with a wide smile on her face.
"Ah ah!" Vanica exclaimed with a wide smile on her face as she fired blood at the two captains.
"Even if I limit her cursed-warding magic with my blue roses, her blood warding magic is strong all by itself. And…." Charlotte thought as she and Rill moved back to avoid getting hit.
"Hehehe. You two sure worked well together. It's probably because you two are close friends." Vanica commented as she glanced over her shoulder to look at both Joyeues and Lolopechika, now donning Devil writing all over body whilst the Devil-like features on Joyeues seemed to have changed, probably due to the opening of the first gate of the Underworld.
"Going on an all-out-rampage feel fantastic, doesn't it, Lolopechika?" Vanica questioned, she originally thinking that Lolopechika may somewhat resit the magic that she placed on the queen of the Heart Queen.
"…." Joyeues glanced over shoulder and stared at Vanica for some reason.
"Not only we have to fight Vanica, but Noelle and Lolopechika. Those three girls possess large amounts of Mana. It doesn't help that Noelle's and Lolopechika's magic are much stronger due to the curses that Vanica placed on them!" Rill thought before casting spell just as water began to swirl around Lolopechika.
"Picture Magic: Subterranean Giant." Rill announced, creating an earth-made creature in the hopes of blocking the large sphere of water that Lolopechika has sent flying towards him and Charlotte.
However, it was of no use at the attack easily broke through, destroying the earth-made creature and a section of the wall behind the two captains.
Someone appeared in front of Charlotte, causing her to move the briars to block sword attack from Joyeues.
"You two. I know how painful and frustrating it is to have you own body stolen. But I swear to break these curses!" Charlotte shouted in her head as she blocked another sword attack from Joyeues whose Grimoire began to glow.
"Water Creation Magic: Sea Dragon's Spikes." Joyeues announced, creating water-made spikes that appear around her.
This cause Charlotte to grit her teeth, not wanting to get hit by Joyeues's attack.
However, it was at that moment that two people came rushing out the destroyed wall, one crashing into the swords-woman of steel whilst the other appeared in front of Lolopechika.
"Blades! Gahja!" Charlotte exclaimed in a stun tone of voice.
"Sorry for being later, Captain Charlotte, Captain Rill." Blades, in his King Lion Daisenki form, said whilst glancing over his shoulder before returning his attention onto the person that he crashed into.
"What has that woman done to you, Joyeues?" Blades muttered, starting to become angry towards the Devil host of Megicula.
With Vanica herself, she started to giggle happily.
"Megicula was right! Strong opponents would come this way!" Vanica said with a wide smile on her face before it drooped slightly.
"But I thought that Saber would come." Vanica commented, whining slightly.
This cause the swordsman of water to become tense before taking a deep breath and releasing it.
"I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I don't know where Saber is at the moment." Blades responded, causing Vanica to sigh.
"Still having that dragon problem of his? Oh well! At least I get to fight strong opponents!" Vanica said, her mood quickly shifting.
"Vanica Zogratis. I swear on Nagare, the blade of currents, that we will cut you down!" Blades said in a determined tone of voice.
"We? Who is Blades referring to? Gahja?" Charlotte thought, becoming confused just as the swordsman of water began to move, aiming at Vanica.
However, Joyeues appeared in front of him.
"Joyeues! Move out-" Blades began to say, but was cut off as Joyeues thrust Argent-Couronne forwards.
In response, Blades swing Nagare, knocking Argent-Couronne to the side, but Joyeues quickly recovered and swing the sword of steel in a diagonal slash, releasing a slash of water that is mixed with Demonic-Mana.
Luckily, Blades dived to the side, letting the attack missed him.
"That attack sure had a lot of Mana built up within it." Blades thought as the swordsman of water felt the Mana from Joyeues's attack.
"We don't have time to dawdle! We need to fight Vanica!" A voice shouted from within Blades's head.
"That isn't an easy task to do at the moment!" Blades responded back just as Joyeues charged towards him, Devil wings flapping.
However, it was at that moment that briar appeared and wrap around one of Joyeues's legs, halting her charge.
The swords-woman of steel glanced over her shoulder and saw Charlotte having a firm grip on briar's handle.
"Captain Charlotte!" Blades said in a slight stunned tone of voice, possible be due to the already injured state that the captain of the Blue Rose Magic Knights is already in.
"Don't just stand there! Your aim is Vanica, right?! Just move!" Charlotte ordered, knowing that Blades is feeling reluctant to be forced to fight another Sword of Logos Magic Knight…...whilst sensing that something seems different with the swordsman of water.
"R-right!" Blades responded before moving, using the aid of his "Water Lion's Paws" spell to increase his speed.
Despite this, however, Vanica used her blood covered hand to catch the incoming blade.
"Nahaha. Even though you possess a Holy Sword, you need to do better if you want to properly fight me~." Vanica commented with a small smile on her face.
"Don't worry. We're fully prepared to fight you." Blades responded, causing Vanica to raised an eye-brow.
"There he goes again. Why is this Holy Sword wielder sayi-" Vanica began to thought, but was cut off as someone appeared next to the swordsman of water.
"Undine!?" Vanica exclaimed in a surprised tone of voice as she stared at a fully healed water spirit.
Flashback(Start)
"Rintaro. Before ultimate magic or anything else, there's a certain power that you should acquire." Dryad said as she and Rintaro stood alone.
"Me?" The wielder of Nagare asked, becoming confused.
"Yep. Undine. You should properly come on out. It will make explaining this easier." Dryad said and Rintaro's Grimoire started to glow.
"H-huh?!" Rintaro exclaimed, becoming shock just as someone appeared out of his Grimoire.
"U-Undine!? W-why are you attached to my Grimoire?! We heard from Secre that you got cursed!" Rintaro said as he stared at the water spirit.
"That's correct. Megicula's curse-warding magic sapped my strength and temporary dissolved my contract with Lolopechika. In order to regain my strength and store up Mana, I moved to a Grimoire of another qualified Mage. One of those Mages is you, Rintaro. You have what it takes to become a host of my power, especially since you wield Nagare, the sword of currents." Undine explained, causing a stunned expression to appear on Rintaro's face.
"As you may have guessed, the other qualified Mage would have been Noelle. That's if she didn't got captured by Vanica." Undine continued to explain before sighing.
"But to be frank, I would have chosen you regardless. I'd prefer not to chose an ill-mannered, belligerent, noisy girl like her." Undine said, causing Rintaro to sweat-drop.
"Anyway! Let's move on, shall we." Dryad said in a sheepish tone of voice.
"Using half of her body, Vanica has physically manifested the Supreme Devil Megicula. Whilst Arcane Stage Mages could finish her off, there's another possibility." Dryad said before giving her explanation.
Flashback(End)
"Let's do this, Undine!" Blades said, causing Undine to nod her head before the two of them began to glow.
Vanica immediately backed away as Mana started to build up between the two before merging, causing a bright light to appear.
"Water Spirit Magic: Spirit Dive." Blades announced just as the bright light disappeared, revealing a new form.
Whilst it still retains the same form as King Lion Daisenki, the armour seems be made out of flowing water along with two separate strips of water acting as a cloak.
Everyone stared at Blades Spirit Dive form.
"Ohohohoh! Not only you managed to acquire the powers of the spirit of water, but you managed to gain access to Spirit Dive in such a short amount of time!" Vanica commented with a smile on her face.
"…..Not quite." Blades responded, causing a slight perplexed expression to appear on Vanica's face.
"It's true that what you see is a Spirit Dive, however, this form that I am in is called Saint Stage, a stage that only a spirit host can achieve, being blessed with the power to purify malice and destroy Devils. So like I said, prepare yourself, Vanica!" Blades said before firing two water-bullets from his shoulder cannons.
Unfortunately, Vanica managed to avoid getting hit by Blades's attack.
"Hmm. The Mana from those bullets feel different." Vanica thought as she felt the Demonic-Mana within her reacting ever since Blades entered Spirit Dive.
With Blades, the swordsman of water has began to move forwards.
"I suppose that the powers within that Holy Sword of his has also changed." Vanica thought just as her Grimoire began to glow.
"Blood Magic: Pack of Red Beasts." Vanica announced, creating multiple blood-made creatures which charge towards Blades.
However, the swordsman of water easily cut through them.
"Wonderful! This is what I was waiting for!" The Devil host of Megicula said with a wide smile on her face whilst her body shook with excitement.
"Wow….Blades is something else." Rill commented in an amazed tone of voice as he and everyone else watched as the swordsman of water closes onto Vanica.
"Remember! This Saint Stage is quite fragile, if we had more time, then we would have a more stable Spirit Dive. So please keep focus." Undine said in Blades's head, causing the swordsman of water to nod his head.
"Understood! I'll finish Vanica swiftly." Blades responded just as Vanica launched "branches" of blood towards him.
In response, Blades transformed into his lion form to dodge the "branches" before transforming back to his regular form before starting to swing Nagare at Vanica.
"Did Fuegoleon and Yuno knew about this Saint Stage form? Did their respective spirits told them?" Charlotte thought in her head as she observed the battle, but kept most of her attention on Joyeues.
"If they knew about this Saint Stage, then should they have spent time in the Heart Kingdom so that Undine can observe them and suggest improvements." The captain of the Blue Rose Magic Knights thought, knowing that Fuegoleon would have been keen on learning more about the powers of Salamander, yet knowing that Yuno would prefer to train by himself.
Back with the battle between Vanica and Blades, the two of them are moving around at a fast speed.
"Good! That's good! This is the best!" Vanica exclaimed with a wide smile on her face as she managed to get struck by Nagare, yet doesn't seemed to mind.
"This kind of thrill is just like the time when I fought Acier-sweetie. If it wasn't for those two brats, then the battle would have gone longer." Vanica thought, clearer images of the past appearing in her head.
"Mana-Zone+Water Spirit Magic: Undine's Sanctuary!" Blades announced as he stab Nagare into the ground, causing vast amounts of water to suddenly appear, swirling around the two before encasing them in a square-shaped box that has statues of lion's head at each corner.
"This is….." Vanica thought, seeing the resemble with Lolopechika's Mana-Zone spell back at the Heart Kingdom, although this time she can feel the Mana of Saint Stage purifying the Demonic-Mana.
"Hahahahaha! You're the best, swordsman of water! Let's keep going!" Vanica exclaimed before manifesting a large blood-made beast. In response, the pages of Blades's Grimoire began to turn before stopping.
"Mana-Method+Water Spirit Magic: Undine's Soul Burst!" Blades announced as water began to swirl around the two shoulder cannons before releasing two powerful water-bullets, easily destroying Vanica's creation and even hitting the Devil host of Vanica, causing her to slam against the wall of "Undine's Sanctuary".
Without missing a beat, Blades charged forwards.
"Are you satisfied with the battle? If so, then begone!" The swordsman of water shouted as before stabbing Vanica in the chest, letting the Mana of Saint Stage flow into her.
However, Vainca started to laugh.
"You sure know how to make this fun, Blades!" Vanica said as blood poured out of her blood.
"Shut up!" The voices of Blades and Undine shouted at the same time just as the swordsman of water removed Nagare from Vanica before swifty kicking the Devil host of Megicula.
Not giving Vanica the opportunity to attack, Blades quickly moved around the water-filled space, dealing multiple sword slashes to Vanica before activating a spell.
"Mana-Method+Water Spirit Magic: Undine's Soul Burst!" Blades announced, this time letting water surround the blade of Nagare instead before swinging the sword of currents, releasing a powerful slash of water which successfully struck Vanica, causing her to slam against the wall of "Undine's Sanctuary" again, but this time with more force than last time.
"Ha….Ha….ha….." Vanica breathed heavily whilst feeling pain.
"I feel….so much pain…..but I don't mind it….." Vanica muttered with a small smile on her face just as Blades floated in front of her.
Vanica then slowly glanced towards Joyeues, who is currently occupied with fighting Charlotte.
"Hey, swordsman of water. Can you let me live? I want to fight Noelle-sweetie again, again and again, for eternity." Vanica said, her body starting to shake in excitement.
"No. I already lost the bond with a fellow Magic Knight. I'm not going to loose another. This is the end Vani/You truly are interesting, Vanica." A voice suddenly spoke, cutting off Blades, causing the swordsman of water and Undine to become wide eyed.
"But there's a reason….why I haven't left you." The new voice spoke again before a black mist-like substance started to pour out of Vanica's right eye.
Blades immediately backed away just as Vanica's body started to float in the water.
"This Mana….?!" Undine thought as she started to sense a build up of Demonic-Mana.
"Not even Lucifero is aware of this. But with the souls of three Mages of the same sex, each possessing powerful Mana, my advent can take place at last." The voice explained just as the mist-like substance started to take on a form.
"This Mana…..impossible!" Charlotte thought in a shock tone of voice as she and everyone else started to sense the build up of Demonic-Mana.
"But there is no doubt….that must be Megicula!" Charlotte thought as everyone now stared at a Devil that possess two sets of horns, wings, an eye that is positioned on it's forehead, long white hair, which seemed to turn into mist and what seemed to be a dress.
With Vanica, the Devil host of Vanica seemed to have gone into a comatose-like state as most of her body is black whilst Megicula is still attached to her.
"I've been with Vanica for a long time, so feel sympathy for her. But without her sacrifice, I can't fully manifest." Megicula explained just as Demonic-Mana burst out Lolopechika and Joyeues.
"Lolopechika!/Joyeues!" everyone exclaimed as they watched the two changing with Lolopechika gaining Devil-like features whilst Joyeues's Devil-like features underwent a transformation.
"You won't be lonely if you all die together….isn't that right? Humans?" Megicula questioned with a cruel smile on her face just as Lolopechika suddenly moved, stabbing Gahja.
"Gahja!" Rill exclaimed in shock just a Joyeues moved herself, targeting Charlotte.
"How come your here? Only the first gate of the Underworld has been opened?" Blades questioned as he return his attention back onto Megicula whilst getting into a battle stance.
"While I may use the gates of the Underworld as my insurance. I far prefer to manifest through my "Curse-Warding Magic: Evil Goddess's Curse"." Megicula responded just as a smile on her face shifted slightly.
"However, this magic took a painstaking amount of time and effort to locate the necessary sacrifices. It was quite a task to pull off, I assure you. The first sacrifice allowed me to half manifest myself through Vanica's body with her herself being a prodigious Devil host that I, a Supreme Devil, am contracted with. With the second sacrifice, I am able to break out, albeit in an imperfect state. The third sacrifice will allow me to fully manifest within the human world. I am planning on using Lolopechika, the Queen of the Heart Kingdom as one of the other two sacrifice." Megicula explained in a calm tone of voice.
With Blades, he noticed something.
"So has Megicula already cursed someone to start this "Evil Goddess Curse" spell? She only mentioned two names…..is Joyeues is the other!?" Blades thought as he glanced over to the swords-woman of steel.
"This is bad! If we don't act, then Megicula will exit the Underworld." Blades thought before charging forwards, aiming on attacking Megicula.
However, it was at that moment that "Undine's Sanctuary" started to disintegrate.
"W-what?!" Blades exclaimed in a shock tone of voice as he watched as his spell getting destroyed.
"In my current state, "Curse-Warding Magic: Decaying World" is nowhere near as fast or strong as normally….?" Megicula said before noticing blue and red roses starting to spread across the ground.
"I won't let you get away with this!" Charlotte said with a determined expression on her face.
"So far, you're the only person who's ever been able to counter my curses. That "Queen of Briars of yours is truly magnificent." Megicula commented in an interested tone of voice.
As Charlotte concentrated on her spell, Rill is defending her from Joyeues.
"I have to protect Charlotte." Rill thought as he used his picture to fight against the cursed swords-woman of steel.
"Even though I'm fighting you, Noelle, you have giving me inspiration!" Rill thought before beginning to activate a spell.
Sensing that the captain of the Aqua Deer is planning something, Joyeues rushed forwards, raising Argent-Couronne whilst doing so.
"I won't be able to cast the spell in time!" Rill thought, starting to panic.
However, it was at that someone appeared in front of Rill and block Argent-Couronne.
And there we have it, instead of Noelle reciving the powers of Undine, Blades gains his Saint Stage form whilst Megicula herself manifest into the human world. Not only that, Tassel has joined the battle along with bringing Leavatienn, Fanzall, Dominante and Mairella as well.
In Gavv:
1) Lango and Glotte have been informed about Vram's appearance, but assumed to be another Granute hunter, despite Vram fighting Shoma/Gavv and Valen. With Shoma, he followed a Chocodan Gochizo to Kenzo's place to help Hanto, reconizing Kenzo from their brief encounter.
2) Shoma started to search for the still missing people before being lead to Laga Nine, who was in the middle of capturing humans, before leading to a fight, which involves Laga Nine mistaken Shoma's red-Gavv as a belt rather than a normal Gavv. Shoma/Gavv started to question Vram about his motivation since he isn't keen on Dark Treats before revealing that he's a member of the Stomach family.
3) This cause Vram to become angry before coming to the conclusion that Shoma/Gavv is responsible for his little brother's, death. Vram explained how his brother, Comel, got addicted to Dark Treats, leading him to run away from home and joined Stomach Inc. A year later, Lago Nine found Comel, yet died soon later. Shoma managed to pursaude Vram not to kill him, and even work together, but he just walked away.
So we've got to learn about Laga Nine's background and his reasoning for joining Stomach Inc, to take his revange against the Stomach family. The name for the fourth Rider for the show has been revealed, Kamen Rider Bitter Gavv who uses a black version of Henshin Belt Gavv. Alongside the Sparking Gummy Gochizo, Bitter Gavv will also use the Vrocan Spicy Gochizo.

2) I suppose that Lucius is focusing on his grand plan whilst Asta and Yuno dealt with a clone of his, thus making the situation more dire in the upcoming chapters. There's also Adramlech to consider.
3) Now we know Laga Nine's background and you're close with the sibling, but they are dead instead of missing.
