[Cuts to a green sided cabin type house; there stands Jessie, Luke, and Michael, their dad]
MICHAEL: Well Jessie, [he puts his hand on her back] I guess you're going to have to go now. Have a big dream, get a new life, start a family.
JESSIE: Woah, woah, woah Dad. [Shakes her head no] I'm not ready to do all of that, well, except for my big dream. I still have you and [turns around slowly to Luke] Luke.
MICHAEL: Well I can't let go of change.
JESSIE: Dad, I know it's been different since Mom died but we have to let go of the past. Plus this is getting really boring. [Checks her watch] Dad I have to go.
LUKE: Not without me!
MICHAEL: Not today Sunny, [pulls Luke back from Jessie] I guess you can go now.
LUKE: My name is Luke!
MICHAEL: You listen to me Sunny! [Jessie opens the front door and looks at Luke at Michael fighting; Jessie shakes her head in embarrassment and humor; Jessie waves goodbye] Bye honey!
LUKE: You get back here. [Jessie closes the door; there's an awkward pause; Michael and Luke keep on fighting; shows Jessie relied]
JESSIE: They'll get over it. [Jessie gets into her car; puts her keys in and drives off into the abyss; cuts to her driving on the highway] It only takes boys five minutes to get over it. Plus where's that smoke coming from? [She looks at the smoke; shows her foot getting more gas on the pedal] I better call the police. [Looks out her windshield] Holy damns! [She swerves off the road and crashes; she calls 911 on the phone connected to her car]
DISPATCHER MANDY: [On the other line] 911, what's your emergency?
JESSIE: [Hyperventilating] So. [Out of breath]
DISPATCHER MANDY: [Pauses for a moment] Ma'am I'm supposed to leave this crappy job in fifteen minutes and you're taking up my time.
JESSIE: [Screams into the phone] Because I almost just died!
DISPATCHER MANDY: I quit. [An awkward moment of silence]
JESSIE: Hello? [Another awkward moment of silence]
DISPATCHER JEREMY: Hey this is Jeremy who just got hired, uh so like, 911 what's your emergency?
JESSIE: So's there's this forest fire and smoke everywhere and I was looking at it and I got distracted and [Dispatcher Jeremy interrupts]
DISPATCHER JEREMY: Ma'am, can you [exaggerated] please slow that down a little bit.
JESSIE: Yeah. [Another moment of silence] I'm dying on Highway 55 right next to the stupid roundabout!
DISPATCHER JEREMY: Alright, I have deputies coming to the stupid roundabout.
JESSIE: No I just mean the one they never finished constructing. [Opens the driver door]
DISPATCHER JEREMY: No that's literally the Stupid Roundabout.
JESSIE: Oh. [Another moment of silence] So where is everyone? [They just appear out of sight coming towards her]
DISPATCHER JEREMY: We have the towing company on the way.
JESSIE: It's not that bad though?
DISPATCHER JEREMY: Uh, I have to get you off the line because [slowly talks but gradually gets faster] some Grandma called LifeAlert because she fell out her rocking chair.
JESSIE: Just like the one in the commercial, yeah, I'm not buying that [gets the phone out her hear] The cute sounding boy hung up on me! [The towing company pulls up]
TOWING COMPANY GUY RICHARD: Your receipt.
JESSIE: [Jessie looks at it] There's no way.
TOWING COMPANY GUY RICHARD: Let me check. [Jessie gives him back the receipt.] Your right, I never did an evaluation. [Jessie slaps her hand on her head] Where are your parents?
JESSIE: Well I don't like to talk about it, my Mom's dead, and my Dad keeps fighting with my little brother.
TOWING COMPANY GUY RICHARD: I'm single.
JESSIE: Then what's that ring doing on your finger?
TOWING COMPANY GUY RICHARD: Hun, [points at it] this was a present my wife- I mean daughter- I mean my Mom gave to me.
JESSIE: And where are they?
TOWING COMPANY GUY RICHARD: They're in the United States of America. [The ambulance and fire truck get there]
JESSIE: You want to know something.
TOWING COMPANY GUY RICHARD: Sure. I'm open to any relationship advice.
JESSIE: Oh. [chuckles to herself; Richard looks concerned] I have some relationship advice. [an awkward pause] I don't care. [The people get out their vehicles]
AMBULANCE MAN JUAN: Hey Richard! [Richard and Juan do a very brotherly pose] Brother, have you checken up on Mama and Papa back in Mexico.
TOWING COMPANY GUY RICHARD: They bueno right now Juan.
AMBULANCE MAN JUAN: That's bueno.
JESSIE: You know what, [Richard and Juan look at Jessie] If this ditch was another six feet, I'd be dead by now.
AMBULANCE MAN JUAN: You look okay.
JESSIE: And yes I know some EspaƱola.
TOWING COMPANY GUY RICHARD: So we can still hook up?
AMBULANCE MAN JUAN: [Juan looks at Richard weirdly] You have a wife and a daughter though.
TOWING COMPANY GUY RICHARD: She doesn't have to know! [Juan and Richard both laugh at each other; Ambulance Man Henry comes out]
AMBULANCE MAN HENRY: So no one's going to help her out?
JESSIE: So sir, what's your number?
