As Yuya and Reji keep staring at each other, her friends get worried about her seeing that she has her goggles on, something she only does when something is bothering her.
"I, the man Gongenzaka have realized my own cowardice. If I had won, I could have prevented putting this needless pressure on you." Gongenzaka tells Yuya, ashamed at his defeat.
"I don't know about that.. It doesn't look like she's under any pressure at all to me. In fact it looks like she's ready to fight!" Sora says as he takes a bite out of a chocolate bar.
"This is the real final match. I'll definitely win and protect the Duel School.. and Dad's Dueling!" Yuya declares ready to battle.
Yuya's friends voice their support for her saying there is no way she will lose. Shuzo looks down to them from the control room proudly.
"I wonder about that... You all don't seem to know how strong Reji is..." Himika says, snapping them back to reality.
"Reji?" Shuzo murmurs the name in surprise as he thinks he's heard it before.
"That's enough cheering for now isn't it? From here on I'd prefer if you'd stay quiet and just watch my duel with her." Reji says.
"I've seen that kid somewhere before.." Shuzo murmurs to himself as he takes out his duel disk to look for information on him.
"I knew it... Reji Akaba..." Shuzo says as his worst suspicion comes true.
Now on the field, Yuya and Reji stand across from each other. Reji remains emotionless while Yuya on the other hand seems angered.
"This is kind of scary.." Ayu says as she clings to Yuzu.
"What's happened to Yuya.." Yuzu questions as she puts a hand on Ayu to calm her.
"She is concentrating on her match!" Gongenzaka states.
"But, that's not Yuya at all.." Yuzu says as she looks at Yuya, whose temper seems to be close to the boiling point.
"Yuya! Laugh! You Show Duel School is about bright, fun and entertaining Duels right? Don't forget to smile!" Yuzu reminds Yuya.
"Smile.." Yuya says as she smiles.
"That's right. Bright and fun entertainment is my motto. I can't forget that, no matter what!" Yuya says as she pulls up her goggles.
"Alright, I'll show it to you! The best smile and.. the best duel!" Yuya declares, making her friends cheer.
"Hmph, I wonder how long she will be able to keep smiling..." Himika questions.
"What do you want to do for the Action Field?" Yuya asks Reji.
"Choose whichever you want." Reji says. At that Yuya signals Shuzo to take a pick.
"Yuya is saying that she is counting on me again. But if that boy is the actual Reji Akaba.." Shuzo thinks as he looks at the articles he has found on him.
"He's a Duelist who has the qualifications to be a Pro. Even if this may be seen as underhanded, this is for Yuya.. and to protect the Duel School, I'm going to pick Yuya's best field." Shuzo thinks as he makes his choice.
"Show them your best entertainment on the best field for it, Yuya! Action Field On! Field Magic, Athletic Circus!" Shuzo says as he activates the field, a room filled with circus-related structures and floating balls.
"It's the circus!" Sora observes excited.
"This field is Yuya's forte! Principal! Your manly spirit is supporting Yuya!" Gongenzaka says.
"This is all that I can do. The rest is up to you, Yuya." Shuzo tells her.
"Thanks, Principal. Living up to expectations is what it means to be an entertainer! I'll show you all an amazing Duel!" Yuya declares as she activates her duel disk.
"Duelists locked in battle!" Yuzu starts
"Kicking against the earth and dancing in the air alongside their monsters!" Tatsuya continues
"They storm through this Field!" Futoshi continues
"Behold! This is the newest and greatest evolution of Dueling!" Ayu says
"Action!" all of them finish
"Duel!" "Duel!" Yuya and Reji say as the action cards are dispersed.

"As a thanks for letting me pick the stage, I'll let you go first." Yuya tells Reji.
"Thanks...? Let you...?" Reji questions.
"I understand. So that's how you think... Fine then I accept your offer." Reji says, slightly confusing Yuya.
"Now then, my turn. I activate three Magic Cards from my hand. The first one is this... I activate the Continuous Magic, Contract with the Hellgate! This card inflicts 1000 points of damage to me during my own Standby Phase." Reji explains, surprising everyone.
"Additionally... Once per turn, I can add one Level 4 or lower DD monster from my Deck to my hand. I add DD Cerberus to my hand." Reji explains as he reveals the added card.
"DD?" Futoshi questions.
"Different Dimension, it means an alternate plane." Sora explains.
"Likewise, the second Magic Card, Contract with the Hellgate." Reji says.
"Just like before, I am able to add a DD monster from my Deck to my hand. I add DD Lilith to my hand." Reji explains while displaying the card.
"And the third Magic Card I will activate is... Continuous Magic, Contract with the Devil King. This card also inflicts 1000 points of damage to me during my Standby Phase" Reji says.
"Now it's up to 3000 points of damage. What is he trying to achieve with that many Life Points at risk?" Yuya observes as she tries to figure out his plan.
"Contract with the Devil King allows me to Fusion Summon without using a Fusion Magic Card." Reji explains, shocking Yuya and Sora.
"The monsters I choose to fuse are DD Cerberus and DD Lilith! Hellhound that bares its fangs! Vamp of the dark night! In a whirlpool of light from the realm of the dead, become one and give birth to a new king. Fusion Summon! Be born! DDD Flame King Temujin!" Reji cants as his Fusion monster appears.
DDD Flame King Temujin (LV.6) (2000ATK/1500DEF)
"Wow.." Yuya exclaims amazed.
"He's a Fusion User?!" Gongenzaka exclaims shocked.
"But to take such risk to summon only that monster...?" Yuzu questions.
"This time it's DDD..." Ayu says.
"There are three D's" Tatsuya points out.
"What does that mean now?" Futoshi asks.
"Isn't this... completely different...? Could this be the real...? But..." Sora questions to himself.
"There are no records of Reji Akaba using Fusion Summoning in his previous matches. Considering that he showed such overwhelming strength without using them.. and if that means that he's become even stronger.. C-Can Yuya win...?" Shuzo questions, starting to get worried.
"I set two cards and end my turn." Reji says as his facedowns materialize.
"The last two cards left in his hand..." Yuya exclaims surprised.
"Now his hand is at zero." Yuzu says.
Reji simply adjusts his glasses. His hand moving across his face as he looks at Yuya, like he is trying to study her.
"What's with his attitude?! He is so full of himself!" Ayu says angered.
"He's just a substitute for their fourth player, does he think this'll be a walkover?!" Futoshi questions.
"Walkover...? Well that could happen... if he chose to risk taking 3000 points of damage because he's underestimating Yuya." Sora admits.
"No way!" Yuzu says.
"Unforgivable! To underestimate your opponent so blatantly... is a disgrace to Duelists everywhere!" Gongenzaka exclaims visibly angered.
"Don't let someone like that win!" Tatsuya says.
"Yeah! Give him a thorough beating!" Ayu follows up.
"Shiver him to a pulp!" Futoshi adds.
"You got it! But what will make him really shiver is my Entertainment Dueling! My turn! Draw!" Yuya says as she starts her turn and jumps onto a platform.

"Ladies and Gentleman! It's time to begin this performance! With Scale 2 Entermate Ballad and Scale 8 Timegazer Magician I set the Pendulum Scale! With this I'm able to summon multiple monsters from Level Three to Seven!" Yuya exclaims as her monsters appear in the scales.

"Swing Pendulum of the Soul! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Appear my monster! Timesword Magician!" Yuya chants as her monster appears.
Timesword Magician (LV.3) (P.S.2) (1400ATK/0DEF)
"There it is, Pendulum Summon!" Tatsuya exclaims excited.
"She brought out a new monster too! But why just one?" Ayu questions.
"That's because of Timesword's effect! When I Pendulum Summon him on his own his attack points are doubled!" Yuya explains as her monster powers up.
Timesword Magician (LV.3) (P.S.2) (1400 - 2800ATK/0DEF)
"Battle Phase! Timesword Magician, attack Flame King Temujin!" Yuya says as her monster jumps forward to cut down Temujin.
"I activate the Continuous Trap, Contract with the Valkyrie!" Reji says.
"Another Contract?!" Gongenzaka questions shocked.
"Then that means.." Yuzu says realizing what that means.
"I will take 1000 points of damage during my Standby Phase and.. all Fiend-type monsters I control gain 1000 attack points during my opponents turn." Reji explains as his monster grows stronger. At the same time Yuya starts looking for an action card while Timesword braces himself.
DDD Flame King Temujin (LV.6) (2000 - 3000ATK/1500DEF)
Yuya grabs an action card and lands on a higher platform than before
"I activate the Action Magic, High Dive! This card will increase Timesword's attack points by 1000 until the End Phase!" Yuya says as a trampoline appears, which her monster uses to propel itself toward its target while gaining attack points.
Timesword Magician (LV.3) (P.S.2) (2800 - 3800ATK/0DEF)
"All right that's it!" Gongenzaka cheers.
"And with that- it's another comeback!" Tatsuya and Ayu say.
Temujin uses its sword to throw Reji upward at a bal. Reji then grabs the action card lying on it and leaps onto another as he activates his last trap card with a smile.
DDD Flame King Temujin (LV.6) (3000 - 2000ATK/1500DEF)
The two monsters clash creating a cloud of smoke. The kids cheer for Yuya while the LDS students are shocked. Himika on the other hand just smiles.
When the smoke clears Temujin is still on the field and Timesword returns to Yuya's side.
"I also activated an Action Card. The Action Magic Evasion, that is." Reji explains, now standing on the platform across from Yuya.
"You're putting on quite a show, aren't you?" Yuya asks him smiling.
"They're looking pretty even right now..." Shuzo says.
"No, they're not!" Yuzu argues.
"Her opponent has four contracts out right now! So he'll take 4000 points of damage during his Standby Phase! That means.." Gongenzaka says.
"If Yuya ends her turn right now, her opponent's life points will become zero!" Yuzu exclaims.
"Doesn't that mean that big sis Yuya has won?" Ayu asks.
"That's pretty anticlimactic." Futoshi says.
"It was a mistake in her opponent's strategy!" Tatsuya says.
"I wonder about that.. I get the feeling that he isn't the type of guy to make such a simple mistake. And also the fact that right before Timesword's attack connected Temujin's attack points returned to 2000 has been bothering me.." Sora exclaims.
"What's so funny?" Yuya asks as Reji chuckles slightly.
"Pardon me, I was simply remembering your words of 'thanks' and 'let you' from the start of this match." Reji says as he fixes his glasses, confusing Yuya.
"You seem to be a very kind person. But... that kindness is useless on the stage of battle! Despite being given the option to win by just ending your turn, you still hesitate. Most likely that kindness of yours is to blame. Just what kind of results can you hope to achieve with such naivete?" Reji exclaims his impression of Yuya.
"What the heck is this guy talking about?" Futoshi asks.
"Don't hesitate Yuya!" Gongenzaka urges.
"Yeah! Finish him!" Ayu says.
"Hurry up and end your turn!" Tatsuya says.
"I set one card.. and end my turn! Also at this moment High Dive's effect ends and Timesword's attack points return to 2800!" Yuya says as her facedown materializes and her monster's power up ends.
Timesword Magician (LV.3) (P.S.2) (3800 - 2800ATK/0DEF)
"Now! It's time you take those 4000 points of damage from your four Contracts!" Yuya declares but
"Contracts? Those measly things..." Reji says as his contracts are all destroyed, surprising everyone.
"The contracts were nullified. I had already activated the Trap Card, Lease Laundering! Lease Laundering's effect negates the effects of all contract cards, and destroys them all during the End Phase." Reji explains.
"Now I get it! With that, Contract with the Valkyrie was negated and Temujin's attack points returned to 2000!" Sora says.
"Then that means he negated all 4000 points of damage?" Gongenzaka exclaims shocked.
"And now I can draw cards equal to the amount of contracts destroyed by this effect!" Reji says as he draws four cards.
"It was too good to be true.. but if I had won from that, I wouldn't have been happy. It would mean the duel would end in a rather boring way and I do aim to entertain the crowd. To you, this might seem like a naive way to think, but you know.. I want to win.. with my own dueling.. with the Entertainment Dueling passed down from my father!" Yuya declares.
"With Yusho Sakaki's Dueling?" Reji questions.
"You.. You know my father?" Yuya asks him.
"Of course we know him! Your Dad is famous after all." Yaiba cuts in.
"As the former champion who ran away!" Hokuto adds, earning a glare from Yuya and Timesword.
"Silence!" Reji roars at them, making them flinch.
"Idiots..." Masumi calls them.
"Pardon me. Of course I am aware of him... as the pioneer who lead the way in creating our current Action Dueling. I respect him from the bottom of my heart. I'll have you show it to me today... the Dueling that you have learned from him. And if you do, I will have to show you the full extent of my abilities." Reji says.
"The full extend- then does that mean that up until now...!" Yuya asks.
"My turn! Draw!" Reji says as he starts his turn.

"A Tuner Monster?!" Yuya asks shocked.
"He can't be-" Gongenzaka says.
"Oh, but he is. From here on is the main act." Himika says.
"When this card is successfully Summoned... I am able to Special Summon one DD monster from my Graveyard, but its attack and defense points become 0. The monster I choose to revive is... DD Lilith!" Reji explains as Lilith appears in front of Yuya, making her back away from the monster with Timesword ready to cut it down.
DD Lilith (LV.4) (100 - 0ATK/2100 - 0DEF)
"I Tune the Level Four DD Lilith with the Level Three Night Howling! Howls that tear through the night. With the swiftness of a gale give birth to a king! Synchro Summon! Be born! Level 7! DDD Gust King Alexander!" Reji chants as his Synchro monster appears.

Yuya and her friends observe in shock but
"It's not over yet. I activate DDD Flame King Temujin's effect! When a DD monster other than this card is Special Summoned, I can Special Summon any DD monster from my Graveyard! Be reborn once more, DD Lilith!" Reji declares.

"Additionally! I activate Gust king Alexander's effect! When a DD monster is Special Summoned, I can Special Summon one DD monster from my Graveyard! Be reborn, DD Cerberus!" Reji says as his monster revives.
DD Cerberus (LV.4) (1800ATK/600DEF)
"I choose the Level Four DD Lilith and DD Cerberus and... Overlay them! With these two monsters I build the Overlay Network! In order to subjugate all that resides in this world, now, descent onto the peak of the world! Xyz Summon! Be born! Rank 4! DDD Wave King Caesar!" Reji chants as his Xyz monster appears, shocking everyone.
DDD Wave King Caesar (Rank.4) (O.U.2) (2400ATK/1200DEF)
"The title DDD stands for Different Dimension Demon. Prepare to get a good taste of the power of kings who subjugate the alternate planes." Reji declares with his three monsters hovering around him.
"Those monsters.. Their presence is so oppressive.. It feels like they're only out to conquer and destroy without mercy." Yuya thinks as she looks at the three monsters.
Reji turns around and picks up an action card before
"Battle Phase! I attack Timesword Magician with Gust King Alexander! I also activate the Action Magic, Flight! This increases Alexander's attack points by 600 until the end of the Battle Phase!" Reji declares as his monster leaps toward Timesword while it gains strength.
DDD Gust King Alexander (LV.7) (2500 - 3100ATK/2000DEF)
"I activate the Quick-Play Magic, Hippo Carnival! I summon three Hippo Tokens in Defense Mode!" Yuya says as her Magic Card crates the Tokens.
Hippo Token (LV.1) (0ATK/0DEF) (X3)
"Due to this card's effect, the opponent can only target Hippo Tokens for attacks!" Yuya explains as Alexander slices through one of her tokens.
"At this moment, Alexander's effect activates. Once per turn, when Alexander destroys a monster, it can destroy one more monster!" Reji explains as Alexander cuts down Timesword.
"Continue! Flame King Temujin, attack Hippo Token!" Reji orders to which his monster destroys another token.
"Attack now, Wave King Caesar! Obliterate the last Token!" Reji commands and his third monster wipes out Yuya's defense.
"Dammit! He still managed to destroy all of them!" Futoshi curses.
"I set one card and end my turn." Reji says as his facedown appears and Alexander's attack points return to normal.
DDD Gust King Alexander (LV.7) (3100 - 2500ATK/2000DEF)
"You're amazing! This is your real strength? I was honestly shocked when I saw that you could control all three summoning methods! Now, it's my turn! I can't use Fusion, Synchro or Xyz but.. I have a unique power that has bee given to me! The fun has just begun!" Yuya says as she draws and starts her turn.

"It's time for a counterattack, Yuya!" Yuzu says.
"Do it!" Gongenzaka encourages.
"I'm counting on you, Yuya!" Shuzo says.
"Now, everyone, your attention please! It's time for fire acrobatics featuring our superstar, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya says as she jumps of the platform, puts on her goggles midair and lands on Odd-Eyes neck.
"Battle Phase! Attack Flame King Temujin! Spiral Strike Burst! At this moment, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon's effect activates! When Odd-Eyes battles a Level 5 or higher monster, the battle damage is doubled! Reaction Force!" Yuya says as her dragon jumps into the air and incinerates the flame king.
Reji: 4000 - 3000 LP
"She did it! 500 damage times two is 1000 points of damage!" Tatsuya cheers.
"She's turned the tides!" Ayu says.
"Furthermore, I activate Fife Mufflio's effect! When he is in attack mode while a Pendulum monster destroys another monster in battle this turn that monster gains 200 attack points for the rest of the Battle Phase, and can make a second attack!" Yuya explains as Mufflio creates a ring of fire and she and Odd-Eyes jump through it.
Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (LV.7) (P.S.4) (2500 - 2700ATK/2000DEF)
"Odd-Eyes made it through!" Tatsuya cheers.
"To think she could use that move to give it a power up...!" Yuzu says impressed.
"She's truly a wild-animal tamer... no! A dragon tamer!" Gongenzaka says.
"That's real entertainment! It's burning hot-blooded, Yuya!" Shuzo exclaims in excitement.
"My second attack target is Gust King Alexander! Spiral Strike Burst! Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon's effect activates! Reaction Force!" Yuya says as her dragon burns the gust king to a crisp.
Reji: 3000 - 2600 LP
"I can't stop these shivers!" Futoshi says excited.
Yuya grabs an action card and is satisfied with what she got.
"Alright, I'm on it today! I activate the Action Magic, Wonder Chance! I can give one monster an additional attack! Get him, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon! Attack Wave King Caesar!" Yuya says, not noticing a slight detail.
DDD Wave King Caesar (Rank.4) (O.U.2 - 1) (2400ATK/1200DEF)
The attack connects and the wave king is vaporized.
Reji: 2600 - 2300 LP
"She did it, she took out all of them!" Ayu cheers.
"On top of that, she knocked off 1700 of her opponent's life points in just this turn!" Tatsuya exclaims.
"Now she can win! Even if the opponent can use all three summoning methods, as long as Yuya has Pendulum Summoning, she can protect YSDS!" Yuzu states.
"You're on fire, Yuya! You really are the ace of our You Show Duel School!" Shuzo says, as Yuya gets of Odd-Eyes.
"My dear audience, thank you for your cheers! Fire Mufflio can't attack this turn due to its own effect. With that, Odd-Eyes attacks come to a close for this turn." Yuya says as she takes a small bow.
"At this moment Fire Mufflio's effect ends and Odd-Eye's attack points return to normal." Yuya explains.
Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (LV.7) (P.S.4) (2700 - 2500ATK/2000DEF)
"You did great Odd-Eyes." Yuya tells her dragon as she pats its leg.
Though when she looks toward Reji and the cloud of smoke from her attacks clears she is shocked.

"No way..." Yuzu says.
"She just destroyed all of them..." Tatsuya says.
"Why...?" Gongenzaka asks.
"Why are they..." Yuya questions.
"I activated Wave King Caesar's effect. By using one Overlay unit Wave King Ceasar, can Special Summon any number of monsters destroyed by battle this turn at the end of the Battle Phase." Reji explains.
"Huh? Then that means he can.." Yuya realizes.
"Revive all the monsters from the Graveyard?" Gongenzaka says understanding it to.
"But of course there is a risk for such a powerful ability. During my next Standby Phase, if I control monsters that were Special Summoned by this effect, I will take 1000 points of damage for each one." Reji admits.
"He revived three monsters... His remaining life points are 2300, so that means with 3000 points of damage he kills him-" Tatsuya and Futoshi say before being cut of by Sora.
"I already told you before, that won't happen! There's no way he would lose that easily." Sora says.
"I activate the Trap, DDD Human Resources! This card returns three DDD monsters on my Field to my Deck, and adds two DD monsters from my Deck to my hand." Reji explains as his trio vanishes and he adds two monsters to his hand.
"Look at that! Now that the monsters are gone, he won't take any of that damage next turn! See I told you so." Sora points out.
"All he did was take back his monsters..." Futoshi says.
"He said it was a powerful ability but what's so great about it?" Ayu questions.
"He managed to get two more cards in his hand though..." Tatsuya points out.
"Those two cards..." Sora says getting worried.
"Keep it up Yuya! Just make it through with a smile on your face using your Entertainment Dueling!" Yuzu cheers for her.
"I end my turn." Yuya says.
"You really are amazing! Everything you do surpasses my imagination! I'm looking forward to whatever surprises you have in store for me!" Yuya admits to Reji.
"Likewise, despite my initial prejudice you have done quite well." Reji says.
"Prejudice...?" Yuya questions.
"You claim that you want to win with the Dueling you learned from Yusho Sakaki, honestly I expected less since you doing so is no different from anyone else trying to duel with his philosophies. After all you are just another student of his. There is nothing more connecting you than that, is there?" Reji says.
At that statement Yuya narrows her eyes at him while Shuzo, Gongenzaka and Yuzu give him a hateful glare. Tatsuya, Ayu and Futoshi get confused while Sora just shrugs it off.
"That does leave me with one question but we'll have time for that later. For the moment, you have allowed me to see for myself the nature of Pendulum Summoning... now it's your turn." Reji says, confusing Yuya.
"I'll have you confirm whether or not Pendulum Summoning is unique to you with your own eyes! My turn, Draw!" Reji declares as he starts his turn.

"Using Scale 1 DD Magical Savant Galilei and Scale 8 DD Magical Savant Kepler, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Reji says, shocking everyone.
DD Magical Savant Galilei (P.S.1) - DD Magical Savant Kepler (P.S.10)
"With this I can now simultaneously summon multiple monsters from Level Two to Nine!" Reji says as his Savants rise in the scales.
"Those are Pendulum Monsters!" Gongenzaka exclaims shocked!
"No way..." Yuzu says, unable to believe it.
"It can't be...!" Sora says in disbelief.
"Grand power which shakes my very soul! Arise within me and give birth to a new light that rends the darkness. Pendulum Summon! Come before me, my monsters! The three transcendental deities who rule over all kings... DDD Death Great King Hell Armageddon!" Reji chants as his three monsters appear, shocking everyone.

"Three monsters with 3000 attack points!" Sora exclaims shocked.
"Emptiness... that's all I can feel from these five. It's like.. they have no soul." Yuya thinks as she looks at her opponent's pendulum cards.
"Go! Battle Phase! Hell Armageddon, attack Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Reji commands and his monster prepares to attack.
"Yuya!" Yuzu calls her name snapping her out of her thoughts.
"Action Magic, Miracle!" Yuya says as she starts running and activates the card she picked up.
"It negates a monster's destruction and halves the battle damage I take!" Yuya explains as the blast fails to vanquish her dragon.
Yuya: 4000 - 3750 LP
"Miracles only happen once. Continue Hell Armageddon!" Reji says as his second one destroys Odd-Eyes.

"But even if they are destroyed, Pendulum Monsters don't go to the Graveyard..." Tatsuya says.
"I see, they are sent to the Extra Deck? Then that one as well..." Reji observes as he sees Yuya's dragon being sent to the extra deck.
"Obliterate! Hell Armageddon, attack Fire Mufflio!" Reji orders.
Yuya tries to go for an action card but doesn't make it in time.

"He dealt 2200 points of damage in an instant!" Tatsuya exclaims.
"Yuya..." Yuzu says as she gets worried.
"Just who the heck is he?! Where did you get Pendulum Summoning!" Yuya questions.
"I set one card and end my turn." Reji says as his facedown appears.
"That was splendid Reji. If you have mastered Pendulum to this extend, then this measly YSDS..." Himika says.
"If we don't need them, we might as well crush them. Fusion, Synchro and Xyz all belong to LDS." Himika thinks.
"To think he would use Pendulum Summoning... Just how much power does this Reji Akaba possess?" Shuzo questions to himself. Seeing that Yuya is still in a state of shock he reminds her that the match isn't over yet, and tells her to keep burning and be hot-blooded.
"That's right! I'm still Dueling! Calm down... calm down! Instead of worrying about him, you have to win this Duel!" Yuya tells herself.
"Those are his Pendulum monsters... Pendulum was something only given to me- Stop it! Don't think about it! If I don't win this duel, the Duel School will.." Yuya says.

"It's here!" she thinks as she sees her new cards.
"I activate the Continuous Magic, Soul Pendulum! I activate Soul Pendulums effect, once per turn I can change the Scales of the monsters in my Pendulum Scales by one! So I reduce Entermate Ballad's Scale to 1 and increase Timegazer Magician's Scale to 9!" Yuya explains as her scales change.

"Now I can summon multiple monsters from Level Two to Eight. Swing Pendulum of the Soul! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Come forth my monsters! From my hand, Entermate Partnaga! and Entermate Laughmaker! And from my Extra Deck, Entermate Fire Mufflio! and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya chants as her monsters appear.
"Soul Pendulum's second effect! Whenever I Pendulum Summon a Pendulum Monster this card gains one counter! And for every counter this card has my Pendulum Monsters gain 300 extra attack points." Yuya explains.

"I activate Partnaga's effect, and target Odd-Eyes with it! When Partnaga is summoned I can pick one monster I control and it gains 300 attack points for every Entermate monster I control! I have three Entermate's on my field, so Odd-Eyes attack points increase by 900!" Yuya explains as her dragon powers up.

"I also activate Entermate Laughmaker's effect! Since a monster gained attack points, Laughmaker gains 1000 attack points until the end of this turn!" Yuya explains as her monster powers up.

"Now everything is set!" Yuya thinks.
"Go! Battle Phase! Odd-Eyes, attack Hell Armageddon! Spiral Strike Burst! When Odd-Eyes battles a Level 5 or higher monster, battle damage is doubled! Reaction Force!" Yuya says as the first Armageddon is destroyed.

"When destroyed, Pendulum Monsters are sent to the Extra Deck." Reji says as he puts his destroyed monster in his Extra Deck.
"All right, next! With Fire Mufflio's effect I-" Yuya tries to say but
"Hell Armageddon's effect activates! When a monster I control leaves the field, Hell Armageddon gains that monsters original attack points until the end of the turn! Hell Armageddon's attack points are 3000. Therefore the remaining two Hell Armageddon gain 3000 attack points!" Reji says as his remaining Armageddon's absorb the destroyed ones power.

"Woah..." Ayu exclaims.
"How do you even beat a 6000 attack point monster?" Futoshi and Tatsuya asks sweat dropping.
"And there are two of them! This is going to be rough, Yuya!" Sora says.
"With this, YSDS is..." Gongenzaka says.
"No..." Yuzu exclaims.
"6000 attack points are impressive... but not unbeatable!" Yuya declares shocking her friends.
"I activate Entermate Laughmaker's effect again! Since your two monster's gained attack points Laughmaker gains 1000 attack points for each one until the end of the turn!" Yuya explains.

"That's nice and all but it still isn't strong enough." Sora points out.
"Entermate Laughmaker attack Hell Armageddon!" Yuya declares shocking everyone.
"I activate Entermate Ballad's Pendulum effect! When my Entermate Monster attacks I can reduce your monsters attack points by 600!" Yuya explains as white flower petals fly toward Armageddon weakening it.

"What?!" Reji questions as the lightning destroys his last Armageddon.
"His monster is- gone!" Ayu and Futoshi exclaim in shock.
"It might have something to do with the Pendulum Scale shrinking just now!" Sora points out trying to understand what happened.
"Then this is a chance!" Gongenzaka says.
"The next time he Pendulum Summons, he'll only be able to summon Level Three and Four monsters!" Yuzu adds.
"Just three and four..." Yuya murmurs to herself.
"Partnaga's effect prevents monsters under Level Five from attacking. If it's just Level Three and Four, no matter what he sends out..." Yuya thinks.
"In the end they were just prototypes... they were still unstable. But this situation..." Reji thinks as he looks at his duel disk and realizes something.
"Why didn't I notice until now?!" Reji says as he starts laughing, his hand covering his face which twists beneath it.
"Pendulum Summoning is not complete yet! I have seen the possibilities of further evolution in the Pendulum Summoning! And I'll have you bear witness to it at this moment!" Reji says as he composes himself, leaving Yuya shocked at his statement.
"What?! What is he talking about?!" Yuya mentally questions.
"What did you say?!" they hear Himika say, drawing their attention to the stands.
"Professor Marco was-!?" Masumi gasps as she hears parts of what Nakajima is whispering in Himika's ear.
"Reji!" Himika calls him.
"What happened, Nakajima?" Reji asks as he activates the communication function on his duel disk to keep the information private. At the information Reji's eyes narrow and he starts leaving the field.
"Wh- Wait!" Yuya tells Reji.
"I'll give you the win." Reji says.

"Reji Akaba." he answers as he turns slightly toward her before heading out.
