Characters' Watch Midorya's New Family- Intermission Part Two

By: DJ Rodriguez

(Author's Notes: Hey there everyone! How are you all doing? I am doing well, having my ups and downs in life, but doing well thanks to God!

Speaking of, I want to give praise and glory to the Lord! Thank you God for helping me with everything! With my stories, especially the latest chapter of my Disney/Toho movie night special! I confess, it was all you Lord that helped me in setting up that chapter! So everyone, please give all credit and glory to the Lord and His Son Jesus for that! Also Jesus thank you for helping me through the ups and downs in life, especially with old habits trying to consume me like before. I continue to ask for your guidance, correction and discipline Lord so that I become a better servant for you. And I ask that you please safeguard my friends and family as well! Thank you God for everything!

Been taking it easy after that LONG chapter I did for my Disney/Toho movie special. I hope to see reviews from certain others who have not reviewed it yet. I did say to them to take their time, so will continue to be patient as can be.

Now to start off, here is a special intermission chapter for my friend Author ReximusProductionsYT. Something to get my writing energy and creativity back in gear, because I still have a lot of other projects to work on and complete.

I will say this here, and I say it with conviction here.

Author ReximusProductionsYT has some incredible and creative stories here! And he is not the only one! My other friends on this site such as Authors Japan Boy, pinkstoryteller, GojiraFan455516, GojiraRWBYSW18, Data Seeker, AdventureKing2017… they have stories that are excellent and worth reading! In fact, pinkstoryteller, Japan Boy, GojiraFan455516 & GojiraRWBYSW18 surpass my own work by miles!

Pinkstoryteller mixes and utilizes her own OC creations with characters from other series in a way that is truly unique, powerful, bold and creative that leaves any current professional story-writer in Hollywood in the dust! Her works like Godzilla and Family in: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, FNAF Chronicles: A Prologue of Gold and Blood, Godzilla: The New Adventures and so much more within her Profile are Genius-level work! I even told her myself that her works far surpass my own, and that she deserves more reviews, being Favorited and more! So please check out her works, as they are amazing and incredible, just like her!

Japan Boy is the one who started me to write my Disney/Toho works. In fact, it was his own Disney/Toho story The Little Mermaid Godzilla: A Friend In Need that got me out of the deep slump I was in, lit up the embers of creativity once more with the Holy Spirit setting it ablaze soon after! His own works are quite long in their own right, but still detailed and very much dedicated! He also shows honor to those who are still around and have passed on, something that is rare to find nowadays. His work also surpasses mine very much!

And finally GojiraFan455516 & GojiraRWBYSW18. They are one and the same, as the Author created two accounts just in case. But his work in combining Godzilla with various other anime and TV series is just excellent on a number of levels! I can say that he is on the level of Genius-work as well with pinkstoryteller! I suggest taking a look at his works such as Watching the Multiversal Universe Theater, Super Godzilla Bowl, Meet a real King of Monsters and more!

And of course, my friend here ReximusProductionsYT. He has created multiple stories that are creative and unique, and also he asks questions regarding certain characters with me that have me wondering if it is possible in my own works. I suggest that you all see his stories to see the high level of creativity and originality he has!

I am still looking for anyone willing to make pictures of my works; MarieAngel04, Drjeesh, FrostZilla2007 and finally ReximusProductionsYT have already made some pictures from DeviantArt, so check them out when you are able!

I wish to do this for my Tia Pamela Espurova-Allen, and will keep doing it until some solid news comes in. She is working with police and other official groups to locate and bring home a missing girl that is part of a family she works with & has befriended.

Her name is Lina Khil, a little girl that was taken on December 20th, 2021. The search is still on for her, but so far… no luck. A lead was discovered some time ago, but still no word yet on situation. Please continue to pray for them, and also to be on the lookout for her.

Her information is this: She was four years old when she was abducted; hair brown, eyes brown, race Afghan, weight 55 lbs. & height 4'0. If any can help to locate and find her, please do so and notify the proper authorities. Hoping and praying still that she is found alive & returned to her family. They have put up a special about her on TV thanks to the San Antonio Police Department. Any information you wish to seek about her you can search for online, and hopefully it will help to find her and bring her back home safely.

In the words of Winston Churchill- You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life . I will not kowtow or submit myself to others who feel offended at such in what I believe in, and make a big fuss or drama over it that causes unnecessary/unwanted trouble because of them being oversensitive and such.

A new Guest reviewer named Victor Hugo stated in my DP x DB crossover chapter that the quote is false. Well… I do not believe so. I looked it up, and it showcases that Fact-Checkers say that it's false. Considering that it's these so-called Checkers that stated this, makes me believe more that Winston's quote is real. So real or not, going to keep posting it up.

And here is a quote from my Christian hero and role model- Carmelo Domenic Licciardello! He said this: We are called to be effective, not popular. And this I agree with very much.

We cannot please everyone, nor do we ever wish to do so. I believe in the words of my pastor Rick Godwin from Summit Christian Center at San Antonio and it is this: If you try to please everyone, you lose yourself entirely. You lose your identity, your purpose, your direction & your connection with Jesus Christ. So while others may not be pleased at this, it is what it is. My aim is not to please all, but to write a worthwhile story that follows God's Truth. No more, no less.

There will be NO kind of characters or reference to slash or femme-slash of any kind. There will also be NO trans, gender-free, binary/non-binary, gender-neutral characters or notions in this special series, nor in any of my other stories. See my Profile bio to see where I firmly stand in and at. In this I am VERY serious about! No WOKE or New Normal of any kind in my works, current and future! And will not adhere to certain new definitions/concepts that have cropped up that are in line with what I am against!

Also, NO live-action remakes of any kind are in my stories, not even in this one. I only like/love the classic, original and REAL animated Disney movies and cartoons I grew up with as a kid. These new remakes/reboots of that are up now… no way! This is my stance, and I am sticking to it with conviction!

I am making stories for people to enjoy them, not to please every single being. I have my own ideas, standards, thoughts, theories and so on. If people do not like my stories, it is okay. I cannot please all, and will not lower or compromise myself to please all either. Goes the same in real life too.

Now on with the birthday special!)

About twenty minutes had passed for Intermission, and already the various characters were gradually coming back into the theater area that was playing the special presentation of Midorya's New Family.

Inko, Nami, Muriel and several of the ladies who were close to Izuku were carrying various plushies under their arms. The young lad had managed to win some plushies from the arcade for them, each one now holding a medium-sized plushie that was soft, cuddly and also in the shape of various monsters! It is as follows:

Inko got 1961 Showa-era Mothra in her adult form

Chun-Li received a 2014 Monsterverse Mothra in her adult form

Bo-Katan Krye received Heisei-era MechaGodzilla

Kuvira was now the proud owner of a Showa-era Titanosaurus

Alice Gehabichi got a Showa-era Baragon

Sabine Wren was now holding onto a Heisei-era Mecha-King Ghidorah

Wendy Marvell was clutching to her chest an adorable Little Godzilla

Nami was grinning as under arm as a Heisei-era Aqua Mothra

Kanna Kamui was smiling as riding on her shoulders like a child was Showa-era King Caesar

And finally for Muriel Bagge was a Monsterverse King Kong from Kong: Skull Island movie

The ladies had thanked the young lad for the plushies, making him blush and many of his male family relations snicker. Even his MHA schoolmates and teachers chuckle on how the hero was being exceptional generous to his female relations.

Bo-Bo-Bo smiled widely and stated with pride, "Hahahahahaha! That's my nephew, charitable gentleman to the ladies! Well done kiddo!".

Ben added in, "Yeah! I mean, you could have gotten one of those big prizes for yourself with the number of tickets you won. But instead you chose to spend it on your mother and the others. I have to say, that was big of you to do so.".

All-Might put forth, "If you keep this up Izuku, you'll have a girlfriend in no time! Maybe she'll even be your wife later on!".

This got the young man blushing badly, and some of the group teasing him for it, which only made him blush brighter. It was Chun-Li who soon stopped them with a glare, causing the males to freeze and comply. They all did many dumb things in their lives… but ticking off a protective aunt was something they did NOT want to add to their resume.

Author ReximusProductionsYT sat down in his seat, and ordered some food & drinks from the concession stand to be brought to him. After that, he turned to Izuku and stated, " Heh, I hope you are prepared to meet the rest of your family member soon lad. And I will say this to you… when they come to both the big screen and here, you're going to be very much shell-shocked. Hehehehehe…".

This had Inko, Izuku and the others very much perplexed & also excited to see the rest of the unknown family members. If an Author stated something like that, truly it was something to not take lightly.

Once all of them were settled down in their seats, the lights dimmed down but did not go out. Anakin called out, "Ah, a movie trailer. One of your works, Reximus?".

The Author simply nodded and smiled, very much glad that another of his works was going to be shown to all. The whole group soon got comfortable back in their chosen seats before looking up to see the movie trailer:

The camera opens on a four-year-old Izuku looking up at the starry sky, covered in bruises and burn marks as he silently sheds tears of anguish.

Hoka no daremo ayumenai

Kono hibi ni mune yo sawage

The shadow of a mighty dragon appears over him as Izuku is spirited away from the living hell that is his life. Ten years later, fourteen-year-old Izuku looks down at his left palm to see the silver diffused spiral oval symbol that marks him as a dragon rider. Appearing back-to-back with him is Avatar Korra who has the same mark on her own palm. They look up at the sky as their dragons, Shruikan and Jarnunvosk, swoop down with a roar.

Yuraida sekai de yuruganai

Kotae o sagasu yori

Izuku and Korra are seen training in preparation for the trials that lay ahead of them. Korra uses her waterbending to send a water whip at Izuku while he disburses the attack with an 'impact' as he channels One For All into his finger. Watching the spar from the sidelines are Korra's parents along with Tenzin and his family. And behind them are Jarnunvosk and Shruikan, watching with pride as their riders continued to grow stronger.

Mugen no gimen o itazura ni

Tsudzukete ikite itai

Amon is seen at a rally as his Equalists raise their fists in a declaration of war. Lin and her officers patrol the streets of Republic City as Councilman Tarrlok sits in his office, scheming with an arrogant and sinister smirk on his face. Hiroshi sits in his secret laboratory, a scowl on his face as he remembers how one of the Triads killed his wife before he was approached by Amon and given a chance to rid the world of the benders who abuse their powers. Behind him are hundreds of freshly built war machines ready to be unleashed upon the city and its benders.

Mienai yoroi wo nugisutete

Hoho wo utsu kaze ga

Korra and Izuku stand on the shores of Airbender Island looking out at Republic City, their hair billowing in the wind. Both of them appear to have some doubts about their abilities to save everyone from Amon and his Equalists. Both turn around and smile upon seeing their dragons, both of whom are ready for battle, along with their friends, Bolin, Mako, and Asami. Izuku and Korra share a determined smile… and saddle up!

Jibun wo mamotte te ni dekiru

Mononi kachi nankanai to yuu

Jarnunvosk flies high, bashing and crashing her way through the sky as she blasts Equalist airships out of the sky with her fire breath and knocks equalist planes down to the ground with his tail. Korra helps her by using her bending to deflect and redirect attacks that were headed for them. Shruikan roars as he tears up the Equalist ground forces with his claws and teeth, his scaly armored skin protecting him even from the advanced weaponry of the Equalists. Izuku jumps off of Shruikan and sends several mecha-tanks crashing back with a Lunar Impact.

Tsukiageta nanbaa wan ga yubi sasu sora no kanata

Ima yori mo takai keshikiga mitai kara

Bolin and Mako fought back-to-back as the Equalists swarmed the streets of Republic City, while Lin swung overhead on her metal cable like Spider-Man web swinging across the skyscrapers of New York City, sending sharpened shards of her armor at the Equalist mecha-tanks. Asami provided backup through her own martial arts as Tenzin used Airbending to blast away Equalists while getting the innocents to safety as he led the evacuation. He and the others quickly took cover as Shruikan and Jarnunvosk rained fire from above.

Mitasarenai kara kara ni

Kawaita kokoro wo

Moyashite mirai wo aburidase

Gensou wo yaki tsukuse

Korra, Izuku, and the rest of Team Avatar stood across from the remaining Equalists. Amon stood at the front with Hiroshi nearby. The masked madman ran forward as Korra and Izuku charged to meet him head on. Korra entered the Avatar State as Izuku called upon the power of One For All. The scene formed a freeze frame of the three warriors about to face off, each with a fist reared back to strike.

The Start of a Legend

Izuku and the others were wide-eyed at the start of the trailer, and also amazed on what was shown! Ochaco exclaimed in surprise, "Whoa! What is this?!".

Reximus smirked and answered with a hint of pride in his tone, "This, my dear Heroine, is the start of something new and fresh! Izuku here, and also Korra, are going to be part of something monumental that involves them saving the world like the heroes and heroines of old!".

Savage Oppress put in, "I have to say, my little brother has potential and promise. So its no wonder he was chosen to wield not only a potent power, but also to use it to save the world in a way that leaves the others in the dust.".

The other heroes and heroines of MHA did not seem pleased by the words of the Sith, but they could not deny his words. Izuku, while a rookie at first, did climb up through the ranks with his determination, thinking ahead, and truly utilizing not just his power but his head & heart at the same time that made him a special kind of hero on the level of All-Might.

Fifteen years old Avatar Korra sighed sadly as she lay in her bed. Her real bed. Not that hard thing that may as well be a block of wood that she's forced to sleep on at the White Lotus compound.

She had just gotten through with another grueling lesson from her Firebending instructor who had this terrible habit of forcing her to train until her bones felt like they were going to shatter under the pressure, which was not a pleasant experience. Even now, she was sore and achy all over, but she didn't want to bother her old teacher, Katara, with aches and pains that were just going to come back the next day. He absolutely drilled her into the ground with his brand of training making a point that he wouldn't tolerate anything less than perfection. But the thing is, Korra has practically mastered everything the man had taught her, but nothing she did was ever good enough. Quite frankly, she was beginning to despise the White Lotus and everything they stood for as she saw the corruption that was running deep within the old organization, she didn't care that they helped Aang end the Hundred-Year War. And she was absolutely cursing her predecessor's name for his part in her becoming nothing more than a prisoner in her own village with the White Lotus as her jailers.

A tear fell from her eye as she turned on her side. This whole situation would be a lot more tolerable if her Polarbear-Dog, Naga, was still alive and with her. When she had turned ten, Naga was found dead in her kennel. The White Lotus had claimed that Naga had been sick and passed away in her sleep from the disease, but even at that age Korra knew better. The White Lotus had murdered Naga in cold blood all so that she wouldn't have any, quote-on-quote: 'distractions', from mastering the four elements and becoming a fully realized Avatar.

These days she wished that she had never been discovered as the Avatar. That she could just live her life like a normal human-being and have grown up with a real childhood. Instead, she's being groomed into a weapon to be unleashed on the enemies of her masters. And she hated it.

She especially hated her so-called 'teachers' and their unrealistic expectations. She worked her butt off day and night for her Earth and Firebending teachers, but nothing she did was ever good enough. She remembered the days when she trained under Katara to master Waterbending and she knew that, unlike the White Lotus, she was a woman of integrity and a truly honorable bending master. Unlike anyone in that blasted organization.

A knock on her door was heard.

"Korra, honey? Are you awake?"

The door creaked open and in walked her mother, Senna. The older woman was worried for her child, especially for her mental and emotional health. She knew that the White Lotus were pushing her daughter too hard, especially with their stunt of killing Naga the way they did. She had found some rather damning evidence about it as well. Apparently, one of the White Lotus had put a few drops of a fast-acting poison into Naga's water dish the night of her death. It was tasteless, odorless, and from what she's heard from Tenzin some doctors in Republic City use it in a lethal injection that's used to end the suffering of the dying. Death was quick and painless, but that didn't excuse what they did to poor Naga.

Senna could hear Korra's stifled sobs as she tried not to cry and felt her heart shatter. She and Tonraq never should have revealed that her daughter was the Avatar so soon. Especially if she had known that her precious daughter, her pride and joy, would be subjected to such treatment because of it. She quickly crossed the room and sat down at the edge of her daughter's bed, undid Korra's hair from the wolftails she keeps it in, and began to gently stroke her daughter's hair like she would when her daughter was just a little girl. Korra glanced up at her mother, eyes full of tears that she was just barely holding back.

Senna gently brought her daughter up into a hug and said in a quiet, motherly voice, "It's okay, sweetie. Just let it all out. Don't keep it pent up inside."

Finally, the dam broke, and Korra buried her face into Senna's shoulder as she cried out all of her pain and frustration, and her anger. Senna just rocked her daughter back and forth and ran a hand up and down her back. One thing was certain, she was definitely going to be having words with the White Lotus. Whether any of them came out of that without injury, and especially with all of their teeth, remained to be seen.

But for now, Senna was more than content to comfort her daughter during these trying times.

Little did they know, Korra's father, Tonraq, was watching the whole thing from Korra's bedroom door and felt just as guilty as his wife for what his daughter has gone through. He couldn't help but feel that he caused all of it. He knew that he should have intervened sooner, but he had placed too much faith in the White Lotus to train Korra and guide her on the right path to being the Avatar. Especially after what happened not long after Korra had been unveiled as the Avatar.

As Tonraq turned and went back to the main room of his family's hut, he silently vowed to make things right, whatever it took.

It took Korra a good twenty minutes to calm down enough to the point where she could stop crying, though Senna honestly thought it would take longer. The older woman broke the hug and held her daughter at arm's length and saw how Korra's eyes had become red and puffy from crying. She took a cloth out from her pocket and gave it to Korra, telling her to dry her tears which she did quickly.

"Feel better, sweetie?" Senna asked.

Honestly, Korra didn't feel any better about her situation. Her heart still ached over Naga's death, and she could just remember the pain that Aang felt when he thought that he had lost Appa forever. And it just compounded with her own anguish. Her emotional pain greatly outweighed the physical pain from her 'training' with the White Lotus. Korra stood up from her bed and started walking towards her coat rack.

"Korra?" Senna said with understandable worry.

Korra stopped in the middle of putting her parka on and said, "I, uh… I need to be alone. I promise I'll be home by dinner."

She finished putting her warmer clothes on and quickly left the house to avoid the possibility of the White Lotus spotting her. Senna watched from the window with sad eyes as her daughter disappeared over the horizon. One thing's for sure, the White Lotus weren't getting away from Senna's wrath unscathed.

This made audience members feel sorry for the young woman. Principal Nezu sighed and stated softly, "It would appear that this White Lotus reminds me of the early days of the institution…".

Indeed, the very start of the U.A. High School, the institution had problems with teachers that put high expectations on their pupils. Some were justified… but most others not, as the unwanted pressure from the adults, teachers and parents alike, had forced many promising students to buckle under the pressure. Some had left, never to return. Others… had become villains/villainesses that were now against the world and the staff that had broken them.

It was only when he became the principal that curriculum changed & teachers were replaced with more competenent and compassionate ones. Sure they pushed the students to become better… but they did it the right way instead of just unfeeling force like before.

~Meanwhile, Musutafu Japan~

(Izuku's POV.)

"I'm sorry, young man. But no… I don't believe that one can become a hero without a quirk." a man named Toshinori Yagi said. "If you still want to help people, maybe try becoming a firefighter or a police officer. They're both highly respectable professions. It's okay to have dreams, but perhaps try to keep them a bit more realistic."

I could feel my dreams being crushed right then and there. All Might, the Symbol of Peace and Japan's Number One Hero… didn't believe that someone like me, someone who's quirkless… can be a hero?

I should probably explain from the beginning, shouldn't I?

Well, that's a long story, but I'll summarize as best I can. You see, the first instance was in Qing-Qing China, a little girl was born glowing as bright as a star. Quite literally. As the years went by, more and more instances like this began cropping up. People born with unique powers and abilities the likes of which have never been seen in humanity before. Soon, our streets became the very comic book battlegrounds that we always fantasized about as children, and the abnormal became completely normal.

It was an age of heroes!

Along with these super powered individuals came new laws put into place to regulate usage of these powers, which we now call Quirks, in order to crack down on vigilantism and give these quirked individuals the chance to put their powers to good use. And with these laws came the profession of Pro Heroes. In this business, your career is mostly dependant upon your spot on a sort of leaderboard. Those with the highest rankings solve the most cases, fight the most villains, save the most people, become the most popular, and receive the most money from saving the day. Well, minus what may or may not be deducted for possible property damage.

And ever since I can remember, I have wanted to be a pro hero like the greatest hero in all of Japan: All Might. A hero who saves everyone with a smile on his face.

But I was born as one of the unfortunate ones.

You see, around eighty percent of the world's total population is born with a quirk. Some have incredibly powerful quirks that are perfect for heroics. Combat based quirks such as strength enhancers, elemental manipulation, and even transformation. There are quirks that are perfect for rescue operations like enhanced senses of hearing and smell, or gravity negation, and there are even quirks used in underground hero work which involves things like reconnaissance and espionage. Quirks for this category usually involve more obscure types of quirks such as camouflage, or quirks that can manipulate a villain's senses.

Then there are lower tier quirks that are more cosmetic than anything else. Such as having an inflatable face or the power to stretch your eyeballs from their sockets, or just the power to change the color of your eyes at will or having a literal cactus for a head.

Then you get down to those from the unlucky twenty percent, like me. Those of us who are born without any quirk at all. People typically refer to people like me as quirkless. I learned of my quirklessness when a quirk doctor took an x-ray of my feet and found that I have a second joint in my pinky toe, something that's a common trait among people who don't have a quirk. From there, my life just went downhill. Especially when my now former childhood friend went from being my friend to becoming my biggest and worst tormentor. Especially since he suicide baited me today.

As All Might left from the roof we had landed on, all strength left my body as I found myself collapsing on my back. All my life I had hoped that All Might would be different from everyone else, and yet… he's just like the rest of them. A quirkist who doesn't believe that one can be a hero without a quirk. I guess that's really all that matters in the world anymore, isn't it? Even if you have a weak or useless quirk at least you're still viewed as human. But if you don't have even that, you're nothing but a blemish upon humanity. I've seen the statistics for suicide rates among the quirkless, and most don't even live long enough to see their tenth birthday, let alone make it to adulthood. I'm just glad that my mother, bless her soul, never stopped loving me despite my lack of a quirk.

I laid there on the roof just staring at the sky. Even as noon turned to dusk, I hadn't moved. I couldn't bring myself to. In the corner of my eye, I could see smoke and what looked like the glow of fire. Probably another villain attack. Normally I would be geeking out and rushing over to see what kind of quirks I could analyze - did I forget to mention that I analyze quirks? - but I just couldn't bring myself to do so. Or to care.

My eyelids felt so heavy. I guess I was even more drained, both physically and emotionally, than I thought. I probably should have at least gone to the hospital after my talk with All Might and made sure there were no health concerns after my near-death experience at the hands of that sludge villain from earlier.

Call me a procrastinator if you want, but I'll do it later.

I think I'll just close my eyes, and… take a nap…

Izuku had been stunned that in this world, his alternate self was denied by his own hero. Even All-Might was shocked by this, as this was truly different from what happened in his world.

At the mention of suicides, it was Bo-Katan that stated in a serious voice, "Sadly, it might be true. People who are very broken, inside and out, often consider escapes from their lives. Some in a spiritual/mental/social/emotional way… and others by the physical route. There are people who try to help them through, but what the person does next is all up to them.".

Inko soon held her baby boy close and whispered, "I'll always love you no matter what, having a Quirk or no, my baby…". Izuku smiled softly and hugged his mother, a touching moment for the two.

For some of the heroes and heroines though… the scene before them hit close to home, and now they were glad that they did not take the suicide option.

(Third Person POV.)

Izuku's eyes snapped open just in time for him to see himself in some sort of dark void made entirely out of black mist. He tried to call out to see if anyone else was there, but no sound came out. He looked down and saw that most of his body from the nose down, other than his hands and feet, were covered in this black mist.

"Sorry kid, but you can't really communicate with us just yet." said a man's voice.

Izuku looked up and saw seven people sitting on what appeared to be thrones of some sort. There were six men of varying ages and one woman who kind of reminded Izuku of his mother, only she had black hair, her eyes were a different shape, and she was in much better shape than his mother. Now, Izuku didn't think that his mother, Inko, was obese, goodness no. But he knows how much the stress of raising a quirkless child in such an anti-quirkless country has affected her. At least in places like America people who are quirkless are much safer thanks to strictly enforced anti-discrimination laws. But I digress.

"Welcome, Young Midoriya. Before you ask, yes, we know who you are. And we have seen your life up until this point." said a sickly-looking man.

"You're probably wondering who we are, though, right? Just nod or shake your head to answer." said a buff man wearing a bandana.

Izuku nodded 'yes' to the man's question.

"We are the vestiges of the past users of this quirk that was created in my time, back when quirks were on the rise, and everything was in chaos." the sickly man said. "Each one of us was alive at a different point in history when pro heroes were becoming more and more prominent in society. Not all of us were heroes or even wanted to fight villains, but we each took the burden of carrying this mighty quirk."

"I was the seventh holder of the quirk and passed on to this dum-dum next to us because, at the time, I saw that he had the true heart of a hero and wanted to nurture that heroic spirit." the woman said, jabbing her thumb towards what appeared to be a cardboard cutout of All Might in his buff form. "My name is Nana Shimura, by the way. But more to the point, Toshinori is the eighth user of our shared quirk, and now, through a series of crazy circumstances, the quirk has been passed on to you, Izuku Midoriya."

Izuku's eyes seemed to widen as he thought to himself, 'All Might's quirk has been passed on to me? Why? HOW? Quirks aren't supposed to do that! I mean, I've heard about quirks being hereditary, so maybe it works similarly to that? Or maybe it's mutter, mutter, mutter…'

Nana just giggled and shook her head with a motherly smile as she and the other users of All Might's quirk could practically hear Izuku's mutter storm. It was evident from how his eyes turned into classic cartoon swirls. The others, however, had large sweatdrops at this strange mutter storm.

"For heaven's sake boy, take a breath! Do you even have any lungs?" exclaimed the second user.

That snapped Izuku out of it. The boy bowed his head as a form of apology, but Nana and the other Vestiges simply waved it off. They were more impressed by the boy's intellect than anything else.

"As to how you came to acquire the quirk, that's actually quite simple. It seems that while you were clinging to Eight's leg during your impromptu flight on Air All Might, he began to cough up blood as he approached his time limit. A drop of his blood fell into your mouth so fast that you didn't even taste it as you accidentally swallowed the blood. And since our, or should I say, your quirk can only be passed down if the user WANTS it to be passed down, I theorize that because Number Eight was already looking for a successor he subconsciously decided to pass the quirk on to you. But that last bit is merely speculation." explained the fifth user. "Ah, that reminds me. We still haven't told you what this quirk is or what it is called."

Nana took over the explanation as she walked up to Izuku and gently tilted his head upwards. The lad saw what appeared to be eight stars orbiting around each other, each glowing a different color. There was a smaller green star forming among them. He theorized that those stars were meant to represent the past and current users of the quirk.

"Our quirk, Midoriya, is a quirk that dates back to the very dawn of quirks. It's a stockpiling quirk that has been passed down for nine generations as of today, growing in strength with each new user as they add their physical power onto the power stockpiled from the past users. And now, Midoriya, it's your turn to carry the sacred torch that is our quirk… One For All."

'One… For… All…'Izuku thought in awe.

"But for now, Izuku, it's time for you to return to the physical world. When you awaken, you will be in a land not your own, and you will embark on a grand adventure unlike anything you could ever imagine. And you won't be alone." Nana said, kissing him on the forehead which would have caused Izuku to blush if he could. (he's never had much luck with the opposite sex because of his lack of a quirk.)

She returned to her throne and gave him a reassuring smile.

"You are one of the first of a new generation of great heroes from a time before quirks ever existed. You… are one of the next Dragon Riders." Nana said.

As Izuku felt himself waking up and the strange world, which he chalked up to being a mindscape formed by One For All, began to vanish, a single thought crossed his mind.

'Dragon Rider? What's a dragon rider?'

The staff and the teachers of high school were stunned to see the previous owners of One For All, but All-Might had a silly stunned expression when Nana gestured to him as a dum-dum. He exclaimed, "WHAT?! I am not a dum-dum! You all know that, right?!".

He looked to his friends and allies… though some turned away while whistling off-key, some gave him a deadpan stare, and some were trying their best to keep from busting out laughing. BoBoBo laughed and replied, "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That fits you to a T right there! Hahahahahahaha!".

All-Might glared at the muscular man and shouted back, "Oh yeah?! That's the pot calling the kettle black, buster!". This caused the blonde afro-wearing man to soon glare heatedly at the top hero, both having aura flames sprouting out from their forms. It would have gotten into a fight, but Muriel stopped it by speaking, "Hush now! You two go outside if you wish to fight, but not now.".

This caused the two to simmer down, sitting back down in their seats. They did give the other the Angry Eyes, and promised to settle the matter after the movie.

(Real World: Third Person POV.)

Izuku awoke with a start. Slowly sitting up, the boy felt stiff and sore all over, likely from falling asleep on a rooftop.

"Wait a minute, what time is it? Oh man, mom is gonna be so worried!" Izuku exclaimed.

But as he got a good look at his surroundings, he soon realized that he was farther away from home than he realized. He was in some sort of cave made out of a dark colored stone. And judging from the sound of strong winds blowing outside and the appearance of snow and ice at the mouth of the cave, it was in someplace that was in a near constant winter season. But without having a good layout of the area he wouldn't be able to figure out where that is. And there was no way in the nine levels of hell Izuku was going out there in the middle of a possible blizzard! That would be just plain suicide!

So instead, Izuku gathered smaller rocks from around the cave and built a fire pit.

"And mom said carrying survival gear in my bag was a dumb idea." Izuku said to himself as he opened his bag.

Pulling out the quirk analysis notebook that his former friend turned bully, Katsuki Bakugo, nearly destroyed using his explosion quirk, Izuku set it to the side and began pulling out the necessary tools to start a fire. He took out a roll of sticks and a few small logs, some old cotton to use for tinder, cooking fuel, and a box of matches. And like an expert survivalist, Izuku built a nice cozy fire in no time at all. Staring into the flames he couldn't help but ponder his experience with those people from his dream. Was it even a dream, or did it really happen? Does he really have some sort of ultra-powerful quirk that has been passed down for nine generations, including himself?

He'd worry about that later. Right now, he would need to figure out how he got to this cave and find a way to get home. He had no doubts at all that his mother must be worried sick! Not that he blames her, as, like he's mentioned before, she's always had his back even before he was diagnosed as quirkless. Although, he had to admit that she hadn't exactly been too on board with his choice to become a quirkless hero. He understands that the life of a hero is dangerous, but he can't just sit on the sidelines and watch as someone else gets hurt when he could have done something to help. That's just not who he is!

Izuku sighed, a cloud of steam exiting his mouth due to the cold air. Maybe he should have taken his aunt Mitsuki up on her offer of therapy. He idly wondered if that offer was still open.

He was startled from his musings when he heard an odd sound. Looking around, Izuku's eyes landed on something in the shadows of the cave. An oval shaped object roughly the size of a small to medium sized watermelon. Izuku hadn't seen it in the darkness of the cave until now since it was hidden in the darkness. The object was colored a sort of red color. The object kept shuddering and shaking, bulging and cracking in certain areas.

It suddenly popped as pieces of it went flying and a small creature was left gurgling in its place!

"Whoa, okay! No doubt about it, that was a huge egg!" exclaimed Izuku.

The creature that hatched from the egg yawned and rolled over from its position on its back as it blinked its eyes open and spotted the green-haired boy. Taking a closer look, Izuku's eyes went wide as he saw that what hatched from the egg wasn't a bird, and it was no ordinary species of reptile like a turtle or a crocodile.

The creature that Izuku was staring at… there was no doubt about it. It was a baby dragon!

If Izuku remembers his dragon mythology and legends right, then this dragon was of the European Dragon species that are commonly depicted in British Folklore as the giant, fire-breathing creatures that destroy kingdoms, kidnap princesses, and are eventually slain by gallant knights in shining armor. But this little creature was obviously a baby, and he would know. He just watched it hatch.

The dragon was small, only about the size of a large house cat. It had scales that were a deep black color that shined with the luster of obsidian. Its wings had the classic arm and finger structure and skin membrane of a bat, having what looked like four 'fingers' and an extension growing from the elbow joint, and it had small stumps growing from its head. No doubt those stumps are the beginning of a pair of horns. Its claws and teeth contrasted its black scales, being alabaster white, and it had big, curious pale blue-white eyes, the color of a high mountain glacier. Its head was rougly triangular in shape.

"Whoa… I know that Ryukyu can turn into something similar, but I never thought that dragons could actually exist." Izuku said in awe.

The baby dragon tensed up and got ready to defend itself from a possible threat, but Izuku knew how to handle himself around animals in situations like these. Making himself appear as non threatening as possible, Izuku quietly shushed the baby dragon and reached out with his right hand. The hatchling slowly relaxed and began to waddle towards Izuku, sniffing the boy's hand much like a dog or a cat would. Seeming to decide that the boy wasn't a threat, the dragonling placed its head in his palm causing Izuku to gasp as a bright light filled his vision.

Inko blushed when the other Izuku mentioned her opinion on survival gear, though her son patted her arm and said that it was okay.

However, Nami spoke, "He does have a good point in carrying anything that does ensure survival, and also carrying a log of sorts to record anything that could be important. Just because one has powers and such doesn't mean that they should take survival lightly, especially in an unknown place.".

This made the various heroes and heroines, teachers and staff included, to think on making mandatory survival kits just in case.

When the scene to showcase the dragon, many of the ladies cooed at seeing the hatchling. Courage asked the question, "Say, what kind of dragon is it?".

~With Korra: Same Time~

Korra was mentally kicking herself. She hadn't bothered to check if a blizzard would be rolling in and by the time she realized that one was on the way, she was already caught in it. Visibility was terrible. She couldn't see her own hand in front of her face. So, she decided to take shelter just until the storm passed. Or at least until she got her bearings again and could find her way back to her village.

So now, she sat alone in a cave far away from the village, the only source of light and warmth being from the fire she had built as her knees were drawn up to her chest. Thankfully, there hadn't been any predatory animals living in the cave she had chosen, so she wouldn't need to worry about that. Although, her situation, being caught in a blizzard and being forced to take shelter until it passed, reminded her so much of when she and Naga had first met, and their bond had formed. Naga had been a puppy at the time while Korra had been four years old. The Polar Bear Dog had been separated from her pack and Korra found her and gave her some fish jerky before waterbending an igloo for them to wait out the storm in. From that day on, she and Naga had been inseparable.

That is, until those bastards in the White Lotus had deemed Naga, her closest and only real friend and animal guide, a distraction from her training and murdered her.

Korra choked back a sob as she refused to cry again. She wouldn't give the White Lotus the satisfaction of breaking her like she knew they wanted to. At least, that's what she saw their 'training' as. A way for them to rid Korra of her free will and make her into their loyal weapon.

The time she spent crying into her mother's shoulder was the exception in her eyes. For she knew that her parents would never betray her.

But even so, holding in all of her negative feelings wasn't good for her emotional health. And because of her stubborn refusal to cry where the White Lotus might see, she couldn't properly mourn.

Korra stoked the fire with a long stick and added another log to keep her fire going. No sense allowing herself to freeze to death no matter how tempting it was in her current state of mind. She was broken from her thoughts when she heard a small thumping sound. She snapped to attention and looked around as she tried to pinpoint the source of the sound. Could it have been a wild animal come to make this cave its home? Possibly. Polarbear-Dogs and artic wolves could definitely use a cave like this as shelter from a bad blizzard. She heard the little thumps again and saw movement in her peripheral.

She got up and walked closer to the object in order to investigate. What she saw was what she assumed to be a very large gemstone. It was shaped kind of like an oval and was a deep royal purple color with a lustrous shine. The now curious Avatar knelt down and reached a hand out to the odd-looking stone, laying it upon the gem, and marveled at the texture. It certainly didn't feel like a gemstone.

"It feels... almost alive." she said in a low voice, awed by this object.

But that awe quickly turned to shock as she felt something thump against her palm and quickly drew it back as if she had just been burnt. Before her very eyes, the 'gemstone' began rapidly bulging and shaking as if something was trying to push itself out. This went on for what felt like hours, but was really only several seconds...

And with a loud 'CRACK' the 'stone' practically exploded to reveal a small creature in its place and sending Korra toppling onto her rear!

Small warbles could be heard from the creature as it slowly blinked open its eyes and flailed its limbs around, obviously not used to being out of its shell. Seeing this miracle of nature and having witnessed the miracle of birth, Korra couldn't stop herself from breaking out into the biggest smile she's had in a long time.

"No wonder it felt alive… it was an egg!" she gasped in awe. "Oh, just look at you…!"

She knelt down as the creature managed to flip itself off of its back and onto its belly as it stood on shaky limbs. It had a long neck on a stocky body and four limbs. A long tail grew from the base of the creature's spine, and it had a pair of wings that seemed to be covered in tiny feathers, along with a pair of small stumps growing from the back of its head which Korra assumed to be the beginning of small horns. It was covered in scales that were royal purple, and its eyes were like the purest amethyst gemstones. It had a row of royal purple studs going down the length of its neck. It had tiny talons on each foot that were bone-white, its hands having three fingers and a thumb while its feet had three toes and a spur. Its head was roughly triangular in shape, and Korra could see two fangs that slightly jutted out of the upper lip and over the bottom.

The creature took a few clumsy steps forward, and looked up at Korra with big, adorable eyes.

"Are you a dragon?" she asked as she knelt down.

The creature, which Korra assumed to be a dragon, flared out its wings with a loud, gurgly screech causing her to fall back on her rear, but the smile never left her face. She just kept her eyes on the strange creature as it seemed to be inspecting her.

"You're like no dragon I've ever seen." she said.

The dragon folded its wings as it seemed to shy away a little. Korra gently made quiet shushing noises as she slowly reached her hand out towards the… she was convinced… baby dragon. The hatchling halted in its tracks, and seemed able to sense that Korra wasn't a threat. As Korra's outstretched right hand grew closer to the hatchling, the dragonling closed the distance and placed her hand on Korra's palm.

A bright flash of blue light suddenly filled the cave! A blinding light that was so bright, one could have seen it in the blizzard if they were looking!

Little did the Avatar or Izuku know that their lives were now intertwined in ways they could have never conceived. A brand-new adventure was beginning for the new Avatar and for a young boy who had inherited a powerful quirk.

The age of Dragon Riders had begun anew!

Anakin smiled and exclaimed, "Oh yeah! Another adventure awaits! I wish I owned a dragon… wonder how I would do with one?". He had seen many exotic creatures and beings in his lifetime throughout the galaxy, but he had never seen a dragon or any sentient beings that had draconian markings.

Ben put in, "I have seen a couple of dragons in my world. Some are good… some not so much.".

Mina stated with glee, "Oh this is so fantastic! Reximus, do you think you can put me in with Izuku in one of your stories in the future?! I really want to go on adventures with him if they are like that!".

The Author merely chuckled and answered, " Heh, we shall see in the future young one. And now, let us see the rest of the movie!".

Once the credits and such for the trailer were done, the lights dimmed down completely, and the movie was about to resume!

Now for the questions! Ahem…

1.) If you won a plushy from the Arcade, which would it be and why?

2.) If BoBoBo face off against All-Might, who would win? And why?

3.) What kind of survival kit do you think would be a mandatory one for the various heroes and heroines to have?

4.) And finally this… what kind of dragon would you like to bond with and raise?

R&R , no flames, enjoy and leave LONG reviews!)
