Feeling very relieved that he can keep his two eyeballs, Cody was happy on this fine morning. After eating breakfast, he got his backpack ready for another new school day.

hopefully, it was the last time Cody would ever seen the Sandman again, and his vile way of feeding hai offspring.

After he ate breakfast, he turned on the TV, flicking till he saw the human news on the screen. "This just in," said a male reporter. "Crazy, unhinged mother who is in prison for child abuse and domestic violence on her own son, Eddy Brungruber, ripped her own eyes out last night. Seriously, what the fuck, people?"

Loona had a sip of her coffee and sat next to her adopted brother, smiling at the possible mayhem the Sandman caused last night.

"Yes. This evil cunt just eipped her own eyes out from being in solitary confinement for so long. Meh, she deserved it for what she did to her child. Hope she dies."

"Normally, I don't like saying this, but, Eddy's mom got what she deserved." Cody admitted

"Yep. The world doesn't need any more shitty parents like her." Then Loona took another sip of her coffee.

"Wait, i'm getting a a tex message." Looking at the phone, the reporter looked at what was sent to his phone. "Ooh, look at this! Footage of the crasy, evil mother causing a scene at the emergency room. Show it on the screen."

The video was projected in the weather screen and there was the sound of a crazy woman screaming like a banshee. Eddy's now-blind crazy mother was flailing around and yelling as three officers were restraining her. Without warning, the bitch kicked one of the officers in the groin and snatched his pistol, and promptly shot herself in the forehead. It was a crazy suicide caught on video.

"Jeez." said Cody with is left lower eyelid up as he looked uncomfortable. "That was crazy."

"Yeah, one of the craziest things i've ever seen." Loona smirked. "But hey, she deserved it. As much as Belmont deserved to die."

Cody nodded his head in agreement. "No kid doesn't deserve to be abused by their own parent. Tyler would know."

"Totally." Loona nodded her head sideways. "Well, i'll take you to school in ten minutes. Do you have everything you need? Finished homework?"

"Yes."

"Textbook?"

"Check."

"Lunch?"

"Uh-huh."

"And your phone in case something goes wrong?"

Reaching into his right pants pocket, Cody smiled as he felt his phone in it. "Yep, got my phone."

Loona smiled back at him. "Cool, cool. Let me put on my mascara and we'll be ready to go."

"And you and Blitzo will feed the animals outside, right?"

"Yep. Don't worry. Chop, Dusty, and Bombproof are gonna be taken care of."

"OK, Loona."

Later on, in the day, right after school, Cody wanted to pay a visit to the Happy Hotel that Charlie Morningstar runs to help souls who want to be redeemed, and check on those who lived in his home and felt guilty about following Belmont. In the hotel, the place was busy with those who used to follow Belmont and his crazy scheme. The place has definitely hit a record sales in selling rooms and food to esteemed guests.

It was so busy in the hotel that there was some of Lucifer's own guards helping out with the place. For Charlie, it was like a dream come true for her. This place probably had the most guests she has had in a while. The daughter of Hell's king didn't really care about the money, and just wanted to help out the souls in need out of the pure goodness of her heart.

"Whoa. Charlie wasn't kidding about a record business time for her hotel" Loona admitted

"I know." said Cody. "Some of my dead friends and people I know will make it to Heaven one day."

Walking over to the bar section, Husk, the cat-like bartender of the place, looked somewhat happy to see the human kid and the female hellhound. "Well, look who it is." said Husk. "It's been a little while, Cody."

"Nice to see you again too, Husk." Cody smiled.

"Got a drink on you?" asked Loona

"Sure, but it will cost you one dollar."

"Whatever." The female rolled her eyes as she gave Husk a book to have some bourbon. "Thanks."

"Yeah yeah, whatever." said the cat demon in reply. Cody can see the similar chemistry between these two demons just hearing them and looking at them. Then something caught him by surprise, and popped out in front of him like a jumpscare. Someone with one eye, making Cody yelp and fall on his butt.

"Hi Cody!" said the little cyclops demon. It was Niffty, looking as happy as usual with her unnerving smile and jagged teeth showing.

"Hello, Niffty." Cody slowly got up.

"Niffty, do you have to do that every time a guest comes to the door?" said Husk.

"I'm a little messed up." Niffty said. "Ooh, i see some dust on your cute shoes, sweetie!" Niffty smiled again as she forcibly grabbed Cody by his ankles with her strength. For a small little cyclops lady, she was as strong as an ox. She yanked the shoes right off, and began scrubbing Cody's shoes like crazy. "Just a little... scrubbing here... little bit here... And... bingo! Here you go!"

"We've been fucking over this!" said Angel Dust, coming over to the group with Fat Nuggets in his two lower arms like a dog or a cat would be held "You can't just force clean someone's clothes like that!" then he looked at Cody with a smile. "Sorry about that, kid. Niffty can be a little... over-eager."

"That's a fucking understatement." Husk rolled his eyes as he took a sip of his wine.

"We heard you were coming, Cody." Angel smiled, putting his pet demon pig down to meet the human kid. "Fat Nuggets wanted to see you again, and he missed you."

the small demon pig licked Cody's face as the boy knelt down to make better eye contact. "Nice to see you too, Fat nuggets."

Suddenly, the the front doors barged open and it revealed to be three demons. One had a TV head, the second was a female with two ponytails, and the third looked like a pimp. "There's the adorable little guy." said the female demon with a British accent
