Getting acquainted with his deceased friends, Cody smiled at how he is brightening their spirits in being trapped down here in Hell. But of course, they all felt like they deserved it because of blindly following Mr Belmont in killing Cody's uncle and gang, and for believing that Cody is the Antichrist. Despite everything, Cody can never be mad at them or hate them. They were all kids just like him, and Belmont had charisma before he met his untimely end, and all is forgiven from his deceased cohorts.
"So, are you sure you're not mad?" asked a boy named Ben
"No, i told you guys," said Cody. "I'm not mad. It's Belmont's fault about everything. You guys are my friends, and nothing will ever change that. I promise."
The kids all smiled at how easy Cody forgave them all. They all gave the boy a hug in return at their forgiveness from him, feeling so lucky to have a good friend like Cody Laurent. "Sucks that my mom is not here." said a girl named Elaine.
"Why?" Cody frowned.
"Because she still thinks that you're the Antichrist, Cody." Elaine let out a sad sigh. "She still believes that Belmont is right."
"It's not your fault, Elaine." said Cody, putting a gentle hand on her right shoulder. "We did try everything to help her and those people out, but they can't be helped."
"I know, Cody. But at least my dad is here."
"Yeah. That's what counts." said Ben, giving his female friend a gentle pat on the back.
Cody cleared his throat before asking: "So, how are you guys handling being demons?"
"Honestly, it's not so bad." said a kid named Richard. This kid looked like a pig-like demon. "I always wanted wings, and now I got them!" he then began hovering in the air to flaunt his new body feature. "And people say pigs can't fly? I'll prove them that they can."
"You realize that you can't go into the human world like this, right?" said Loona
"Oh, i can't do that, but it's ok for Cody to stay down here?" said Richard as he was still hovering.
"Hell is full if hypocrisy, little dude. And it's filled sith irony." Loona laid one hand on her waist. "But still, it's sacred Hell law. And besides, friends of Lucifer are an exception, who Cody is."
"Good point." said Ben.
"So have they been giving you fun things here?" Asked Cody
"Lots of fun things." Said Elaine
"They even have their own arcade here." said another girl named Lee, who had a body like a smartphone. "Hold on," she paused and began texting words to her mom. "Grr, my dad got himself sfuck in a pool pipe again. Gotta go."
"The food here's really good too." said Richard. "Charlie always makes sure we are well-fed."
"Well, i'm glad you guys are ok." Cody said.
Later on in the day, riding on the back of Loona's motorcycle, Cody was still enjoying the velocity of his sister's cool ride that he helped Loona pay for.
Loona was heading to Tex and Eclipse' apartment to return some dumbells that Loona borrowed from him.
When they got there, Tex and Eclipse were always happy to see these two. "Hey Loo, Cody." said the burly hellhound. "Thanks for bringing my dumbells back."
"I honestly don't know why you would even need dumbbells, Tex." Loona admitted with a smirk.
"granted, i have a barbell on me, but i like to take rest days from working out. At least once a week so i can rest my muscles, and the smaller dumbells help me ease some stress in me."
"Understandable." said Loona.
"So how did it go at the Happy Hotel, little buddy?"
"It was good. Minus the the Three Vs coming to meet me, my friends-"
"Wait, the Three Vs?" Said Eclipse, looking surprised
"Uh-huh. They're terrible people." Cody had a chill just thinking about those three overlords.
"That's an understatement." Tex rolled his eyes. "This is the kind of people that piss me off. Overlords that think themselves better than everyone else. Same with most Goetias."
"yeah, social pyramids suck." said Loona
"You're a communist?" said Eclipse.
"What, no! No no no, i'm saying it sucks donkey dick knowing that hellhounds are at the very bottom of the pyramid in Hell."
"You never told me that, Loona." Cody pointed.
"Yeah. I know." The white-haired Hellhound sighed. "It's demeaning. Just gives me a headache just talking about it, and it's not even Moxxie's employee of the month day."
"Moxxie's not so bad. He knows how to play guitar, and he's got them pipes in him." Said Tex.
"true, but he's a dork and doesn't really have a spine."
"He does have quite a wife." Said Eclipse. "He and Millie make a healthy couple. Besides, you should at least be nicer to him. Imps and hellhounds are in the same group."
"Wait, imps are at the bottom of the pyramid too?" Asked the human boy."
"Yep. Don't you remember your date with Misty before at the rich place? Those imps serving you drinks on the table."
"Oh yeah." Cody remembered. "Well i think that the pyramid is unfair."
"heh, join the club, Cody. Join the club." Loona said. "I wish that us lesser demons would get more respect, but Hell is what it is, and i guess we have to accept that."
Speaking of Moxxie, he was calling Cody's phone and the boy answered it.
"Hey Moxxie. What's going on?"
"Cody, we have a little surprise for you." Said Moxxie in a sing-song voice.
"What is it?"
"I already told you it's a surprise. Meet us in our apartment and you'll see."
"And yer gonna love it!" Said Millie in excitement
