Chapter 9

(Banquet Hall)

JNPR and RWBY just looked at Jaune and his friends. Jaune and the others sat down with them. "Um," started Ruby. "So, you're friends of Jaune?"

"Yeah," said Ty.

"We were addicted to drugs, " said Tandy as she looked at Jaune. "The same ones that gave us our abilities. He helped us, got us clean, but couldn't help Ty completely." Jaune lowered his head in defeat. Still saddened that he couldn't help his friends. Ty grabbed his shoulder.

"I forgive you Jay," he said. Wanda kissed him on the cheek.

"Yeah," said Jaune. "But it still means I failed."

"But, not us." Said Tandy, Weiss just started to smirk. Arc couldn't even help his friends when they needed him. Never mind the fact that both Tandy and Ty would be dead if it wasn't for him.

"See? I told you Ruby!" She said, "Arc is…"

"What Schnee?" Said Gina, "not a good man? Because he couldn't help Cloak COMPLETELY?"

"But Gina," said TJ. "The… 'das Luder', always wanted to see Jaune destroyed."

"Yeah, it's what gets her out of bed in the morning." Said Brigitte, "she was the one that started the lie! Remember?" Those that weren't in the know, looked over.

"What happened?" asked Laura.

"You know how good Jaune is, right?" Said TJ, the others nodded. "Well, Jaune…" He placed a hand on TJ's arm.

"When it was revealed that I was doing so much better than a Schnee, Weiss couldn't handle it." He said, "she couldn't handle anyone who wasn't, 'her type of people' was doing better than her. So, she had got a school bully to help her because his father was on the council to have me removed from the school. On trumped-up charges," the Marvelites glared at her.

"Bad part?" said Ruby. "My uncle, dad, Pyrrha's, and Blake's parents gave their approval for Jaune to be here."

"So, it didn't matter if Jaune was good or not." Said Laura, "you just wanted him out. Why?"

"Her dad," said Jaune.

"LIAR!" Weiss screamed, Jaune held up the gauntlet with the stones glowing.

"Want me to bring proof?" He dared, Weiss gulped. "You see her family owns the biggest Dust company on the planet. They own mines in almost all of the kingdoms, except for one place." Gina answered.

"Arcadia," she said.

"Arcadia," he confirmed.

"And they are vast and huge." Said Joan.

"So guess who wants it?" Said Jaune, Weiss just stammered.

"YOU HAVE NO PROOF!" She said.

"Did you forget he has something that can give him proof?" Said Gwen as Jaune lifted his gauntlet.

'I'm beginning to hate that gauntlet!' Weiss thought.

"And no, I'm not returning the arm. Because it's not Atlas's arm." Said Jaune, Weiss just left in a huff. "Anyway, the true betrayal came from the fact her mother is my godmother and we used to play when we were younger."

"Winter saw us as younger siblings," said Joan. Jaune sighed and stood up.

"Okay, I better go tell, Uncle Oz about Cloak and Dagger." Said Jaune.

"We'll go with you," said Gina and Joan. So they went up to talk to the Headmaster.

(Ozpin's office)

Ozpin looked at the pair of teens as Glynda just stared in disbelief, Nat looked on as well, "so who are they again?" He asked.

"They are a couple of friends of mine who got addicted to drugs and I helped them." Said Jaune.

"I'm Tandy Bowen," she said. "They call me 'Dagger'." She showed three light daggers in her hand.

"And I'm Tyrone Johnson; 'Cloak'." He said as he hovered near Jaune. They told the three about what he did for them and of course, they were proud of him.

Glynda hugged him tightly, "I only did it to protect them." Said Jaune as he lowered his head feeling remorse over killing people. "They didn't have to die, not like that." Wanda went over to hug him.

"Doesn't mean I can't be proud of you," said Glynda. "Raven and Rachel are as well. Or at least will be when we tell them." Tandy hugged him.

"Hey, you saved us, remember?" She said.

"Yeah, and I don't blame you for not being able to bring me back fully." Said Ty, as he hugged Jaune.

"Well," said Ozpin. "Looks like you're still human." Then team RBY came in. "Yes Ms. Rose, what can we do for you?"

"Well, we were talking to Jaune and his friends…" Ruby started. "Oh hey, Jaune."

"Sup, Rubes?"

"We wanted to talk to you about Weiss and what she did to Jaune." Said Yang.

"We already know about what happened." Said Ozpin.

"Yes, but we know who hired them." Said Blake.

"Who?" Asked Glynda.

"Weiss," said Ruby. Ozpin shook his head disapprovingly.

"That girl," he said.

"So," asked Jaune. "What do we do?"

"I'll handle it, everyone. Don't worry, you're all dismissed." Everyone leaves and went back to classes.

(Later in team JNGL's room)

Jaune was relaxing with Wanda and Gwen relaxing doing his homework, with his team joining him. "Man I'm hungry." Said TJ.

"Let's take a break I'll make us some dinner." Said Jaune, just then Wanda stopped him.

"Don't you dare!" She said, she quickly changed clothes. She was in a red blouse, black pants, and slippers.

"Hun…"

"Jaune, you shouldn't be always making the meals. At least let me help." Jaune sighed.

"Grab an apron," so she does and kisses him on the cheek.

(Ozpin's office)

Ozpin was waiting on Weiss, the Schnee heir walked into the office. "You wanted to see me Headmaster," she asked.

"You want to tell me why you thought Mr. Arc wouldn't be a good huntsman?" He asked, she glared.

"So, it came out? Who was it?"

"Everybody else, you see, Jaune is a prince but you don't want to believe it. Winter can tell you the truth about everything because she used to play with him and Joan, but you don't want to believe it. I Am Their Uncle. But, you don't want to believe it." He opened a drawer pulled out a file and slapped it down on the desk. "All in black and white. I've already taken care of your friends in CRDL. Your team wants you gone, and I'm seriously thinking about it." Weiss paled, "you mess up one more time. You mess with Jaune once more, I'm sending you back to Atlas, I'll let Ironwood handle you. Do you understand me?"

"Yes sir."

"Good dismissed." She left.
