A/N: Day 4! This one's a rather short one. Enjoy!

Sky buried his head into his pillows trying to ignore the sound of Legend's whimpering. Legend who had been hit by a curse earlier that day. At first, they weren't sure what sort of spell he had been hit by, especially since there seemed to be no effect but shortly after dinner, he had been quick to gain a fever.

It wasn't long after that, that the fever grew worse, and he began losing touch with reality and broke into insane giggles. The hero's had all of course done their best to help him but soon enough they had to admit that it was clear that they were going to have to let the curse run its course.

Time took first watch, promising to keep an eye on the vet and told everyone to get some rest. Of course, that was easier said than done.

As the night continued to pass, Legends pained whimpers and mumbling rants only grew worse; by the time the moon had reached its highest peak all of the Links were sitting up in their bedrolls, having given up on the idea of sleep to watch their fellow hero. Time had sighed but didn't look surprised.

At that point Legend was full on sobbing and calling out to names that Sky had never heard the Veteran mention before. Judging from the others looks they were just as clueless.

Just as Sky pushed himself up to move closer to Legend, he noticed Hyrule moving forward too. Soon enough they were both settled on opposing sides of the Veteran, rubbing his hands gently.

"Marin- Marin! I'm sorry! Don't- no!"

Hyrule and Sky shared a look as they tried their best to make sure their fellow hero was comfortable. They could only hope that the curse would end soon, and that Legend wouldn't be too badly affected from whatever he was seeing.

Suddenly Legends eyes popped open, and he stared directly at Sky, "No- no- no!"

"Hey, it's okay. We're all right here." Sky tried to soothe.

The words did not have their intended effect, and the panic only grew worse in Legends eye.

"No- no... not you guys too..." Legend sounded downright terrified as he looked around at the chain.

"Woah, calm down!" Hyrule exclaimed as Legend dug his hands into his face.

"No- you can't. Not 'nother dream. I can't... not again, please I can't." Legend choked out through deep sobs.

Besides being thoroughly confused Sky continued to rub soothing patterns into Legends arms.

"Does he think we're all a dream?" Wind asked.

"I-I think so- well at least the curse is leading him to think that." Hyrule agreed.

"Why would it do that?" Twilight questioned.

"The curse seems to have made him ill enough for hallucinations- he has been muttering a whole bunch of names all night long. I'm not sure exactly how that would lead him to thinking we're all a dream but maybe he has some kind of past experience with dreams."

"Oh! Like the dream adventure I went on? I suppose it is still weird to think of it all as a dream- sometimes it gives me the jitters and I suppose sometimes in the right context could be downright terrifying." Wind added in with a shutter.

"Hmm..." Sky replied shifting his gaze to Legend, "It's alright. We're all real. We're not going to leave you."

The words didn't seem to have much of an effect on the cursed hero, but Sky wasn't going to give up on comforting the other.

He moved his arms up wrapping the vet in a hug, in order to be able to properly rock him back and forth. The rest of the chain moved closer and settled around their hurt companion, each muttering their own reassurances.

Tomorrow the group would wake up to find the curse over. Legend would take a while to get back to his normal self and the whole group would later find that that night seemed to heal something within the vet.

But for now, the chain would stay huddled together, muttering soft words to soothe everyone of Legends cries until they would all start falling asleep one by one.
