Same Day: Planet Knowhere
Outside: Street
Pinkamena walks away from the group angrily but stops abruptly as she sees Sombra and his crew arriving in their small ships, "Oh, no."
Applejack stands in the middle of the street, arms up and out, holding her knife in her hands. She's looking up at the ships arriving, "At last!" She laughs, "I shall meet my foe and destroy him."
Twilight lets go of Sunset's hand and steps forward, angrily asking Applejack, "You called Sombra?"
Sombra's ships lands as Tempest and her crew turn up, walking in the street they're on. Tempest turns her head to the right and notices Twilight and Sunset, "Twilight! Sunset!" They look at her, Sunset's eyes widen, "Don't you move, girls!" Pinkamena looks to her left and notices a row of little mining pods beside them in the building. Pinkamena taps Sunset's arm before she runs towards the building. Sunset turns her head to see and quickly follows, making Twilight follow as well. Tempest starts to run and chase after the couple, demanding, "Don't you move!" She encounters a group of people, "Get out of the way!"
Sombra then steps off his ship with Maud and a few guards behind him. Applejack waits for him with her raised knives, shouting angrily in a growl, "King Sombra!"
Sombra questions Applejack as he walks closer, "You are the one who transmitted the message?"
Applejack exclaims with anger and sadness in her voice, "You killed my granny. You killed my brother. You killed my little sister!" Sombra looks at her almost questioningly.
Inside: Mining Pod Facility
The door to a mining pod opens, and a man climbs out. Suddenly, Pinkamena grabs the collar of his coat. She yanks him out of the pod and looks at Twilight and Sunset as they climb into their separate pods. She climbs in hers.
Rainbow is about to climb into her pod. She looks at Fluttershy as she throws her weapon inside, telling her, "Wait here. I'll be back." She climbs into the pod, and the door shuts as Fluttershy looks around.
Outside: Street
Still standing on the ramp of Sombra's ship, Maud hears ships moving and looks up to see 4 mining pods taking off.
Maud knows who's in one of the pods, "It is Pinkie." She looks to Sombra, "She is escaping with the Orb." Maud commands the guards behind her in a different language, and they turn back around to enter the ship as she quickly marches back into it.
Sombra makes a disgusted face with a snort as he looks at Applejack one last time before he turns to join Maud on the ship, leaving Applejack behind.
Applejack watches Sombra walk away from her without a care in the world and then angrily shouts, "No!" Applejack runs towards Sombra and swings her knife horizontally at Sombra, who casually leans and bends forward, making Applejack miss him completely and stumble to a stop.
Sombra calmly calls out to Maud in the ship, "Maud,-" He stands straight and continues to walk forward, "-retrieve the Orb." Applejack shouts as she swings again. Sombra casually blocks Applejack's wrist with his arm and quickly pushes Applejack back by the chest, making her fly back.
Maud takes off in the ship while Sombra stays behind to fight with Applejack, who rolls on the ground and quickly gets up to continue fighting Sombra. Applejack stabs forward to Sombra with one knife, who casually leans to the right, missing him.
Applejack stabs forward again but with another knife, making Sombra dodge to the left as he pushes Applejack's arm away from him. Applejack misses and goes down to her knee. Applejack swings her knife at Sombra's leg, who lifts it up quickly, making Applejack miss once again and stand straight.
Applejack swings again, and Sombra lifts his arm to block the swing and side-punches Applejack in the chest, making her fly back to the building with a big thump.
Dark Sky
The four mining pods speed in the air around the city, which contains Rainbow, Twilight, Sunset, and Pinkamena. Many of Sombra's soldiers' ships chase after them, one of which contains Maud.
Inside: Maud's Ship
Maud chases after the four mining pods and scans them, finding which one contains the Orb, informing the other guards in their separate ships, "The stone is in the furthest pod."
Outside: Dark Sky
The pod that's furthest from Maud and upfront from the other pods is Pinkamena, meaning she's still carrying the Orb.
Inside: Maud's Ship
Maud commands the other ships, following her order, "Bring it down!"
Outside: Dark Sky
The four pods speed up, causing Sombra's guards to speed up and shoot green blasts at Pinkamena's pod, who moves and dodges them.
Pinkamena looks up and figures out that they're shooting at her. She looks forward and sees a small opening in a building and quickly speeds there without getting hit.
Sombra's guard ship 1 follows Pinkamena through the building and crashes into the walls, making it explode.
Street
Applejack runs and jumps up, shouting in rage, "Ah!" Sombra pushes her away, and Applejack flies a bit, then falls back. She grunts from the hard impact.
Sombra circles Applejack, who gets back on her feet and swings at Sombra twice, who easily dodges both times and hits Applejack's back, making her let go of one of her knives. Applejack half turns as she swings back to slice Sombra, who blocks the hit hard, making Applejack let go of her other knife.
Dark Sky
Maud continues to chase Pinkamena's pod with Sombra's guards. Twilight and Sunset fly their pods up to Rainbow's. They connect their radios.
Sunset's voice tells Rainbow, "Rainbow, keep them off Pinkamena until she gets to the Milano."
Rainbow's voice questions, "How? We've got no weaponry on these things."
Sunset's voice explains to Rainbow, "These pods are industrial grade. They're nearly indestructible."
Rainbow's voice retorts, "Not against necroblasts, they're not."
Twilight's voice tells Rainbow, "That's not what she's saying."
Rainbow takes a second to realize what Sunset meant, "Oh!" Rainbow then turns the control handles to the right, and she takes her pod over to Sombra's guard's ships 2 and 3, which are chasing and firing green blasts at Pinkamena. Rainbow crashes into one, making that one crash into the other. They lose control and crash into a tower, destroying them both.
Rainbow spins out of control momentarily before she straightens out and sees Sombra's guard's ship 4 stopped a few feet in front of her. Sombra's guard's ship 4 sped forward, shooting blasts, and Rainbow sped forward, yelling as she flew straight through Sombra's guard's ship 4, making it explode, leaving Rainbow's pod undamaged.
Pinkamena speeds through Knowhere, trying to avoid the blasts being shot at her by another 6 of Sombra's guard's ships. Pinkamena grunts as a blast grazes her pod. As Sombra's guard's ship 5 approaches Pinkamena's pod, a thud is suddenly heard, meaning something landed on his ship. The guard looks up, confused.
Twilight's pod landed on Sombra's guard's ship 5, and she used the mining hands to rip a hole at the top. She pulled the metal piece off, making the ship go out of control. The guard fell back and flew out of the ship, with Twilight saying, "Let me borrow your ride."
Twilight flies into the ship as it spins out of control while it's going down. Twilight uses the mining hands to gain control and levels out the ship, facing forward towards Pinkamena's pod and the other ships chasing her as they shoot.
Twilight watches as Sunset's pod suddenly comes out and crashes into Sombra's guard's ship 6, causing it to lose control and crash down, exploding. Pinkamena looks at Sunset, and they share a nod, then continue to speed forward as the other ships still blast at Pinkamena.
Twilight's face hardens, and she uses the mining hands to shoot blasts from the guard's ship she's in. She successfully shoots Sombra's guard's ship 7 as Pinkamena passes her.
Twilight shoots successfully at another guard's ship 8 as Sunset passes her, but two guard ships also pass as they follow Sunset. Twilight then shoots Sombra's guard's ship 9 before turning around to follow Pinkamena and Sunset.
Street
Sombra and Applejack continue their battle on the street. Applejack goes to punch with her right hand at Sombra, who quickly blocks the punch with his left fist and quickly grabs Applejack by the throat with his right hand.
Applejack holds Sombra's wrist with her left hand and punches Sombra's arm with her left fist a couple of times, before punching repeatedly at his ribs. Sombra doesn't react and watches her. After punching again, Applejack cracks a bit of Sombra's armor, making Sombra look down at it. Then, quickly lifting his head up, Sombra looks at Applejack angrily.
Sombra tightens his grip on Applejack's throat, making some bones crack, and Applejack steps back a bit. Sombra shouts angrily and lifts Applejack up, quickly flipping her in the air before slamming her down to the ground on her back as Sombra kneels.
Sombra, still holding Applejack by the throat, looks at her and says calmly, "I don't recall killing your family." Sombra lets go of Applejack's throat, making Applejack curl to the side and cough a bit. Sombra stands up and stares at Applejack, "I doubt I'll remember killing you, either."
Dark Sky
Maud and Sombra's guards continue to chase after Sunset and Pinkamena, who are dodging all their blasts. Sunset then pulls her handles back, making her pod stop abruptly. Sombra's guard's ship 10 behind her doesn't stop or move away in time, speeding right through her pod and making the ship explode. Sunset pulls her handles forward and continues to speed after Pinkamena.
Pinkamena speeds towards the wall and turns, flying beside it. The guard's ships come too close to Pinkamena's pod, making her move more towards the wall and start grazing it. This makes her grunt and shout, and she continues to speed.
Inside: Pinkamena's Pod
Pinkamena bumps and taps the walls while she continues to speed. She is surrounded by Maud and Sombra's guard's ships. Pinkamena contacts Twilight and Sunset, "Twilight, Sunset, I'm trapped! I can't make it to the Milano."
Outside: Dark Sky
Pinkamena turns and shoves Sombra's guard's ship 11 away from her, making it spin out of control. Pinkamena's voice as her pod turns up and speeds towards the exit of Knowhere, "I have to head out."
Twilight's pod mining hands let go of Sombra's guard's ship 5, and it breaks apart as it goes down. She narrows her eyes as she hears Pinkamena, "What?"
Sunset's voice says as she turns her pod and starts heading up, "Wait! These things aren't meant to go out there." Twilight turns her handles, and she follows Sunset up.
Space / Atmosphere
Pinkamena takes her pod out of the atmosphere into space, and Maud and Sombra's guards ships chase and shoot after her.
Inside: Maud's Ship
Maud calmly continues to chase after Pinkamena and says as she connects to Pinkamena's pod, "You are a disappointment, sister. Of all our siblings, I hated you least."
