A/N: I don't really have much to say today. Yeah tbh I don't have anything. Enjoy, and Review.
Chapter 2: Dungeon Break or Bust
Ben was running through the dunes of sand, completely exhausted. The ground was rumbling as he turned around and was soon knocked off his feet by a giant centipede. He screamed as he collided with the sand dunes. His eyes widened in fear as the centipede dove towards him. Before the centipede could catch him, he reappeared in his hospital room surrounded by grains of sand.
He opened his eyes to find himself back in his hospital room. He sat up as he gazed around until the system's screen appeared infront of his face.
[Congratulations on Surviving the Penalty Quest!]
[Rewards for completing the Penalty Quest are now available!]
[Would you like to confirm the rewards?] (Y/N)
Ben let out a sigh of relief as he had survived that dangerous desert, "10 hours? Surviving that desert for 10 hours? I don't know who made this system, but they've got to be a sadistic masochist to wanna torture me like that."
He ran a hand through his hair, "Note to self: do the daily quest or run for ten hours straight. If I wanna get stronger, then I'm gonna have to follow the systems guidance. For now. Now let's check out these rewards." He looked towards the system window, "Yes."
[The following rewards are now available]
[Reward 1: Five additional Stat Points]
[Reward 2: One Random Box]
[Would you like to collect them all?]
Ben thought about it for a moment as he looked over his rewards, "Yes."
[All rewards have been claimed!]
Then an idea occurred, 'If I'm able to collect stat points then I should be able to take a look at my status screen.' He placed his hand onto his chin, 'Status Open?' A large blue window appeared before him.

Ben was looking over his stat screen and his Perception and strength stats were too low for his liking, "I could pour 3 into perception and 2 into strength so at least everything is at least in the double digits, but I'll need to pour more stats into strength too." With his new plan in mind he raised perception and strength.

"It's not where I want it to be, but it's good enough for now. Now onto more pressing matters. How am I supposed to level up?" Until an idea popped into his head, "Dungeons. If I could use the monsters inside the dungeons, I should be able to level up. But I'm an E rank." Ben sighed, "I'll deal with that later, let's look into this random box."
He looked at his inventory screen before seeing the random item box inside, "Sure hope this works." He replied as he stuck his hand inside the system window, grabbing the item, and pulling it out to reveal a white package wrapped in red ribbons, "Huh, that actually worked." He said in amazement.
"Let's see what's inside box #1." He grinned as he pulled the ribbon apart and the box magically opened infront of him.
In a glowing white light an item floated out the box. It was a small ball point pen. Ben watched as it fell into his hand, "A pen? Seriously? This is a pen." Ben groaned as the stat screen for the pen appeared.
[Item: Anaklusmos]
[Rank: C]
[Type: Ball Point Pen/One Handed Sword]
[Attack: 15 Strength 10 Agility]
[Description: Anaklusmos also known as Riptide has been used by the Greeks in tearing monsters to shreds, but if that doesn't scare you it's pen form will.]
[Effect 1: Pen will transform by pushing it's cap. There's a secret button on the crossguard for it to revert back into its pen form.]
[Effect2: If lost, Anaklusmos will return to your inventory.]
Ben was looking over the stat screen with a wierd look on his face as his gaze kept switching from the screen to the pen, "This Pen is a sword? No way. This has got to be a joke." He laughed awkwardly, but it seemed the window wasn't, "This is just a pen, right?" Now he was getting a bit hesitant, "Why am I so scared? All I have to do is push the cap and it'll just be a regular pen."
But another part of Ben just didn't believe him as he pushed the cap, his eyes widened when the pen transformed into a 3 feet long, double edged bronze sword. Ben gripped the hilt of Riptide and could feel how balanced it was in his hand, "I feel like it was made for me." He whispers as he inspects the sword to find a small button on the hilt. He pushes it and the bronze weapon shrinks back into its pen form.
"Amazing." He grinned as he looked over his daily quest task for the day and sighed, "Looks like I've got things to do."
For the past week, Ben had been using the system to help himself grow stronger. He'd been pushing himself far beyond his limits as he did his quest. He discovered a few things when he completed his daily quests. He got a status recovery that relives of his fatigue, he gets three stat points, and a random item box. He'd been hoping to get another weapon or something, but he'd been disappointed when he got pencils and bandages.
He was currently in the middle of his 10k run around the hospital, he felt a little winded, but having been running for 10 hours straight was nothing. He collapsed onto a bench as he drunk some water from a bottle.
[Daily Quest: Preparations to become strong!]

[Squats - 100 times (Completed) 100/100]
[Running - 10km (Completed) 10/10km]
"All done." Ben replied wiping some of the sweat off his face.
[You've completed 'Daily Quest' Preparations to Become Stronger]
[Completion rewards have arrived]
[Would you like to confirm?] (Y/N)
'Yes.' Ben thought, he also learned he could respond to the system through his mind. Which kinda helped more than he thought, he didn't need people thinking he was crazy.
[The following rewards are available]
[Reward 1: Full Status Recovery]
[Reward 2: Three Additional Stat Points]
[Reward 3: One Random Box]
[Would you like to accept them all?]
'Yes.' He replied as all the rewards were sent to his inventory or his status screen, 'Stat Screen Open.'
[STATS]
Strength: 11
Agility: 12

[Available Stat Points to distribute: 24]
Ben looked over his stat screen, 'I should pour most of it into strength and stamina. Help build up my endurance. I should give some to agility too Incase I need to run away from stronger monsters.'
[STATS]
Strength: 21
Agility: 14

'I should increase perception too, and intelligence is my magic bar, correct? Right now, I only have one active skill I can use, but I have no use for it right now. But I have another problem, I can't keep doing the daily quests, its too slow. I need to level up. I need a way into a dungeon without people recognizing me.' He clasped his hands together trying to think of a way to level up.
Ben sighed, 'I'll have to think of a way later, but now let's see what's inside the random item box.' He reached into his inventory and pulled out another box wrapped in a red ribbon, 'Please be something useful.' An item soon floated out the box and landed in his hand, but it wasn't another pencil or bandaid. It was a green key, 'A key? A key to what?' He asked, but when he did the system seemed to answer as a window screen appeared.
Item: Jade Key]
[Rank: E]
[Type: Key]
[Description: The Jade Key is used for an instant dungeon]
[Location: Bellwood Park]
Ben's eyes widened before a grin threatened to split his face apart, "ALRIGHT!" He jumped to his feet ecstatic, when other patients looked at him strangely. He immediately blushed before sitting back down in embarrassment, 'This has got to be my lucky day. It says Bellwood Park, alright. Let's go conquer this dungeon.'
He headed to his hospital room to find his cousin, Kenny, already there, "Hey Kenny." The brunette waved at the red haired man.
"Hey Ben, doing some excerise?" Kenny gazed at his cousin with a small grin.
"Yeah, doctors say do some light excerise to help stay in shape. Says I shouldn't go overboard tho." Ben chuckles, "Whatcha doing here?"
"Here to see my favorite cousin, that's all." He smirked as Ben rolled his eyes.
"I'm your only cousin." He remarked as Kenny just smirked.
"You forgot Sunny, she's always our cousin." Ben's eyes widened.
"Oh yeah, forgot all about her." Ben chuckled as it was Kenny's turn to roll his eyes, "Anyway, what are you doing here?"
Kenny sighed as he pushed a hand through his red hair, "I'm here to check on you. Have you heard from them yet?"
Ben's face darkened, that was another thing on Ben's mind. His family. Ever since he'd gotten hospitalized, Kenny, Aunt Natalie, and Uncle Frank were the only one's who bothered to show up to see him. Meaning they basically disowned him and want nothing to do with him. So officially Benjamin Tennyson held no ties to Maxwell Tennyson and Gwendolyn Tennyson.
A few days ago, he'd gotten a card and flowers from his grandma Verdona Tennyson, it read 'I'll see you soon. -V' Ben would be lying if he said, it made him a little happy to hear from his grandma and that she was thinking about him. Even if she favored Sunny and her more than him and Kenny. But Ben knew it was too soon to forgive his grandma for her blatant lack of interest in him for not being an anodite like her.
"No. Not one thing from them." He answered with a cold tone, "I haven't spoken to them since I stormed out of the Plumbers Association. You?"
Kenny nodded, "Yeah, after you woke up last week. They made it obvious that you're on your own from now on." Kenny looked away ashamed of how his sister and grandfather were acting, "You don't deserve this, Ben."
"It's okay." Kenny looked up to see the obvious pain in his eyes, "I don't need them. I still have you, Aunt Natalie, and Uncle Frank. Maybe Grandma Verdona whenever she comes to visit. But I don't need them or there help. I can do this on my own. I'll be the world's strongest hunter and I'll create my own guild, holding no ties to the Plumbers or anyone else."
Kenny smiled as he placed his hands on his younger cousins shoulders, "I believe you, Ben. And I'm right behind you and will always support you."
Ben smiled, "Thank you, Kenny. You don't know how much I need to hear that." Kenny soon noticed the look in his eye.
"You planning on going on?" Kenny smirked with a knowing look on his face. Ben's eyes widened in shock having been discovered so soon.
"Uh yeah, might go grab a bite to eat, ya'know how hospital food is-" He chuckled nervously as Kenny just knew he was lying.
"Whatever you say, Ben, but be careful and don't do anything stupid." Kenny smiled, "Now, I've gotta go. I'm gonna be late for class. Take care, Ben." He hugged the brunette as Ben hugged him back. The red head soon left the room as Ben sat on his bed.
He opened his inventory screen and reached inside to grab the Jade Key and tightened his grip on. He gazed at the clock and saw it was almost noon, "I should be able to clear the dungeon before dark."
Ben soon got dressed with some of the clothes brought by Kenny. He wore green converses, black jeans, a black shirt, with green lining the edges and the number 10 in white and in the middle. He headed to the front desk and asked to check out for the day.
He was told to be back by 8:30, which he agreed and headed out to Bellwood Park which was only a thirty minute walk from Bellwood's Hospital.
Ben stopped as he gazed at all the pedestrians enjoying the park. Kids playing tag or having fun on the jungle gym, parents watching or reading books, others doing yoga, kites were being flown, picnics were shared between couples. Ben gazed at the serene community before him, as he laid his plan into action. He stuffed his hands into his jeans and headed to an abandoned part of the park.
He looked around to see if anyone was around, when he saw no one else in sight, he pulled the Jade key from his inventory and held it up. He placed the key into the air, like it was a lock. He raised an eyebrow before turning the key to the right. When then key vanished into thin air, "Woah. Where'd it go?" He wondered when a swirling portal opened infront of him. His eyes widened, "It really opened a gate."
He looked around once more and when he saw no one, he nodded firmly, "This is the beginning. And if I wanna be strong, I need to do this." He soon walked into the portal and came out in a vast green jungle.
As soon as he stepped foot through the jungle, a window screen appeared infront of him.
[In order to escape this dungeon, the boss needs to be defeated.]
He read the screen, multiple times as a frown found its way onto his face, "So I can't escape unless I defeat the boss?" He looked around and didn't see anything, but plants and trees, "Only way on is forward." He said as he started walking through the plant life wondering what sort of monsters are inside this dungeon.
Ben didn't need to wonder long when he came to a clearing to see a small green goblin like a video game, wearing a loincloth and had a small brown club. There was a name tag over it, but it was orange. Unlike those Centipede's which were red.
[Goblin]
Ben watched it wandering the field as he started brainstorming, "Those Centipedes names were red, while the Goblins are orange, meaning there's a hierarchy in the monster realm. Orange means slightly stronger while red means insanely stronger."
"Okay, since there's only one of them and I could possibly get the drop on it if I charge at it." He muttered as he grabbed his pen from his pocket. He pushed the cap and it immediately transformed into a sword, "Maximum effort."
He rushed from his hiding spot as fast as he could and spun Riptide into an wide horizontal swing and before the Goblin could realize it, Riptide decapitated the monster. Ben spun back around to see the monster dead and a level up screen popped up infront of him.
[You have defeated a Goblin!]
[Leveled Up!]
Ben sighed in relief as he felt his level increase, "That wasn't so hard." He laughed, "Status open." His status soon opened before him.

"I can do this." He grinned before he heard the sounds of chittering behind him. He stopped as he turned around slowly to see a pack of Goblins approaching. He squinted his eyes deducing there numbers which looked to be twenty or thirty of them.
One of them pointed at Ben before noticing there dead comrade, "Oh boy." And that was all it took for the army of Goblins to charge at him, hoping to overwhelm him with there numbers.
Ben got to work, slashing and hacking them apart various screens popped up within his vision, but he didn't pay attention to it, trying to reduce the Goblins numbers as fast and as hard as he could.
One of the Goblins snuck up in Ben's blind spot and whacked him in the head causing him to drop Riptide. He gritted his teeth seeing his health drop
HP: 490
He whipped around quickly before punching the goblin in the face, watching as it's head exploded in blood and viscera. He soon grabbed a club and bashed another onto it's head, he kneed another in the jaw, before reaching back into his pocket and finding Riptide in there. He immediately pushed the cap and the pen transformed into the bronze sword as he sliced through another goblin like butter.
Ben dodged another club, before stabbing it in the chest. He tossed the Goblin away as it was hurled into its comrades. Ben was breathing heavily as he glances to his Fatigue bar.
Fatigue: 35
Ben narrowed his eyes, 'I needa finish this faster. If my fatigue bar goes past 50 it'll definitely start affecting me and my performance.' He noticed there were eight to nine goblins remaining, 'Gotta finish this.'
Ben didn't wait for them to come to him, he rushed towards them and tore them apart as fast as they could run away. He was breathing quite heavily as he grinned and started laughing. He ran a hand through his hair and just laughed again, "Just like mobs in a video game."
He soon casted his vision to the multiple system windows that appeared during his Goblin Slaughter.

Ben grinned, "Sword skills, huh? Well let's see them in action." He pushed on Riptides button and shrunk it back into its pen form as he headed from where the Goblins came from.
Ben had been walking for a few minutes before he found more Goblins and what looked to be giant skinny red wolves with daggers located on there backs and a dagger on there tails. He stopped when he noticed the pack of wolves pick up his scent and he saw the wolves names were orange.
[Blood Mane Wolf]
There were about ten of the wolves and fifteen goblins, Ben knew he couldn't hide from the wolves knowing they've already picked up his scent and he reeked of Goblin blood, so it shouldn't be hard to smell him coming. Ben pushed the cap on Riptide as it transformed back into its true form, "Come at me." He glared as he rushed forward, the wolves and goblins charged at him as well.
Ben slashed a Goblin in his neck, before impaling another. He ducked underneath a wolf tryna pounce on him as he used 'Horizontal' seeing his MP bar drop from 170 to 150. Riptide slashed through the wolf's mouth before continuing through its body. He sliced upwards cutting another wolf's snout off before bringing Riptide back down and slashing its head clean off.
He ducked and dodged between Goblins and wolves slashing and cutting through them as if he'd been doing this his whole life. A wolf attempted to pounce him from the left, his eye sight swung to his blade, seeing the attack coming. He swung his sword in a reversal stance and impaled the wolf through its mouth and out his skull. He threw Riptide through a Goblins skull, before uppercutting a Goblin in his jaw.
He punched and kicked his way through the wolves and Goblins. When he noticed there were three wolves left. They circled him, thinking they have him cornered, "I'm not as useless as you three think." He glared as he slowly reached into his pocket feeling the return of his trusted partner Riptide. He watched and waited as they circled him, then one pounced from behind as Ben pulled out Riptide immediately pushing on the cap and the pen elongated into a bronze sword impaling the wolf through the chest, as the other two didn't wait and pounced on him.
Ben immediately pulled Riptide free and spun back around using one of his newest sword skills [Horizontal Arc] his MP bar dropped from 150 to 110. His blade swung from left to right first slashing through there chests, before bringing his sword back around slashing them once again from right to left in a vicious two slash combo.
Ben dropped to his knees in exhaustion as he smiled, he was getting used to this far more than he'd like to admit. He soon gazed at the various system screens that appeared infront of him.

"Status Recovery." Ben said as his body glowed green for a moment as he was healed in seconds, "Seems leveling up restores my Hp and Mp bars, but doesn't bring down my fatigue bar. Good thing I didn't use those Status Recovery's I've been saving and good thing I can stack 'em." He laughed before he saw another system notice.
[You have slaughtered dozens of Goblins! You have earned the title 'Goblin Slayer'. When going up against humanoid type monsters your attack goes up by 20%]

Ben looked over his status screen, 'Should save these stat points until I'm done with this dunegeon.' He pushed on Riptide's button and reverted it back into its pen form, "Let's hurry this up." He had a grin on his face as he headed towards a Goblin Village which seemed to be close by and he was also hoping the Boss was there too.
It didn't take very long before Ben was walking through the small village built by the Goblins. It stunk of blood, piss, and shit. Ben grabbed his shirt and used it to cover his nose as he looked around to notice bodies of wolves and other goblins scattered across the village, "Ugh, what the hell happened here?" He asked himself as he attempted to cover his nose, but with his enhanced senses it was barely scratching the surface.
He gazed around until he saw a giant hut straight ahead, but immense blood lust was oozing from the giant home, "Gonna go out on a limb and sat the boss is inside that hut." Ben remarked, "And I don't even think I'm strong enough to defeat it. I can feel how intense this boss is." He tredged slowly towards the hut and took a peek of what was inside.
It was a giant Goblin, but the difference between the small goblins and this one was the obvious color and the fat into muscle on its body. It had green paint swirled on its large belly, on its face, and arms. He wore a large wolf skin on his shoulders, with fangs of the wolf in the form of a necklace. It had a giant loincloth, as it sat on its throne made of goblin skulls and wolf skulls. Located on its left was a giant black sword as its aura and blood lust seemed to radiate through the hut. A red name soon appeared above its small beady head which wore a helmet made of bones.
[Goblin King Gorkil]
'Oh shit.' Ben muttered as he attempted to back up from the hut, but the Goblin King's eyes spotted him and faster than Ben could react, the large King rushed with its long black sword in hand swinging straight through the hut and the surrounding huts. Ben ducked as everything around him was slashed to pieces. Gorkil came barreling out as it gazed at its newest challenger.
It roared loudly as Ben attempted to cover his ears, it was upon him again. Ben's eyes widened in shock as Riptide flashed from his pocket into its sword form and attempted to redirect the swing of its blade. Ben used the momentum of his parry, to slash the Goblin King in his side, but the Goblin King didn't slow down as brung the large black blade back up into the form of a V, but Ben parried it, but the force of the Goblin King sent him flying backwards.
Ben crashed through a hut and into a few dozen trees. The aforementioned teenager groaned in pain as his Hp and Fatigue bar shot up.
Hp: 760
Fatigue: 40
"God dammit. It's stronger than me and faster than me. And the first cut I landed was too shallow meaning, I'm gonna have to slash him as fast as I can." He groaned, "Stat Screen open! Invest 6 into strength and 5 into agility!"
Strength: 32 to 38
Agility: 25 to 30
Ben felt his strength and speed increase as he gets back up just in time to evade a slash from the Goblin King. Ben gritted his teeth as he parried another harsh blow from the King, 'Dash!' He could feel his speed increasing tremendously as he raced around the Goblin King slashing shallow cuts into the False King.
[Dash will consume 1 MP per second upon each use]
Ben used Dash and ran all around the Goblin King lacing cuts through his body, but some of the cuts were too shallow and not cutting deep enough when the Goblin King slammed his sword into the ground shattering it, Ben tripped over his own feet as the Gorkil finally caught him, grabbing him by his shirt and slamming him straight into the ground.
Ben bounced straight off the ground as blood came flying from his mouth from the pain, as he punched through in the face, before he was launched flying through the Goblin Village. Ben hit the ground roughly, colliding with dirt, rocks, dead monster bodies, and anything else before colliding with the Goblin Kings throne. Blood was coughed out of his mouth, as Ben gazed over to his Hp and fatigue bar once again.
Hp: 100
Fatigue: 91
Ben couldn't tell what was broken from what remained. It hurt just to breathe as he attempted to get up.
[Health has fallen below 10%, now activating Tenacity Skill!]
Ben gritted his teeth as he attempted to get up, in his field of vision he could see the Goblin King grinning in satisfaction on the state he was in. He stood on his own two feet before uttering a, "Status Recovery." Immediately he felt the cool sensation of every injury on his body healing. His fatigue dropping back down to zero as he relished in the Goblin King's shock at how he healed so quickly.
"What? Don't like surprises, motherfucker?" Ben glared as he reached into his pocket and felt Riptide there, "Well I got a few for you! Dash!" In a black blur, Ben disappeared.
[Dash will consume 1 MP per second upon each use]
Deeper slashes started appearing all over the Goblin King as he tried to defend himself from the constant onslaught of attacks Ben was carving into his skin. Ben soon slashed him in his Achilles heel sending him to one knee, but The goblin King tried slamming its sword into the ground, but Ben wasn't an idiot. He wasn't gonna allow the same attack to be used against him twice, "Not this time!" He yelled slamming his sword straight into the Goblin Kings arm as it roared in pain.
Ben twisted and turned his sword as the Goblin King roared as it dropped its sword. But it wasn't done yet, the Goblin King grabbed Ben and threw him away. As Ben sailed in the air, he soon righted himself as he landed on the wall of the hut. Ben soon launched off the wall as the Goblin King tried to remove Riptide from his arm, but didn't count on Ben's reversal move and punch it square in the jaw knocking a few teeth out of the false Kings mouth.
Ben had put a lot of force into that blow only to knock out a few teeth. He picked up the Goblin Kings large sword, "My turn." He turned the back of the blade around so the front was visible. He didn't wait before rushing forward and slashing the goblin King deep within his chest watching as it went up to his right shoulder, he soon swung back around and slashed him deeply in his chest watching as his guts soon spilled out, he came back around and slashed another deep cut in his chest as it stretched to his left shoulder, he spun around one last time slashing his chest again as the four slash combo ended as Ben then drove the blade up the False Kings head and out his skull.
[You have defeated the Boss!]

Ben was breathing heavily as he dropped to his knees in exhaustion, "That was a lot harder than I expected." Ben dropped to his butt trying to regain his breath.
He then noticed the Bosses body glowing, "Must be the bosses droppings."

"There that should do it." He smiled slightly satisfied with his stats when another system screen appeared.
[Dunegeon will be closing now.]
Ben ran a hand through his hair as he stretches hearing the creeks in his back, "Definitely gonna need a nap when I get back." When in a blinding white light, Ben soon appeared back in Bellwoods Park, but it was dark outside.
"Good thing I went to another section of the park or this would have been awkward to explain." Ben muttered as he then started heading back towards the entrance to the park when he saw it was blocked off, "That's strange. Wonder what's going on." He hopped over the divider and noticed a solider approaching him.
"Sir, this area has been blocked off." The solider stated firmly before noticing his torn clothes and dried blood, "Sir, are you alright?"
"Uh yeah, just ran into a monster back there." He pointed towards the park as the solider looked a little relieved.
"A monster? Are you a hunter?!" The solider asked a little too ecstatic for Ben's liking.
"Yeah?" It was more along the lines of a question then an answer as the solider grabbed his arm and dragged him along side him, "What's going on?"
"A dungeon gate broke and a monster came out. There's some Hunters currently engaging it, but there barely keeping it at bay." The solider answered as Ben raised an eyebrow.
'Did me entering a dungeon cause a dungeon break?' Ben thought as they approached a crowd of people recording the fight against a giant rock monster with a blue orb in the middle.
"ARE THERE ANY HUNTERS NEARBY?" One of the Hunters screamed.
"THE DPS TEAMS AREN'T DOING THERE JOBS!"
"WE'RE TRYING! OUR WEAPONS DON'T HAVE AN EFFECT ON THE BOSSES BODY!"
A massive crowed was formed as seven hunters attempted to bring down a stone golem with a blue crystal eye. There was one C rank, three D-ranks, and three E-ranks. The tank was doing his best to keep the bosses attention on him while the dps attempted to destroy the rock monster, but none of there attacks were landing.
'Dammit, this isn't going well!' The tanker thought annoyed, 'Maybe, if we had a B rank or an A rank we'd be able to win.'
The fight between the Hunter and the Golem proved fruitless as they had no way of shattering it's defense. When the solider and Benjamin entered the scene.
"Have a look, there struggling really bad. Do you think you could help them?"
Ben placed a hand under his chin as he narrowed his eyes and could tell this monster wasn't anything special compared to the Goblin King Gorkil.
"Yeah, I think I can help." He replied curtly before the man smiled and nodded.
"Do what you can."
"Alright." Ben reached into his inventory and out came Gorkil's Nodachi, 'I don't need this thing anyway. So let's see what you can do.' He thought as he held the thin black Katana.
He grinned darkly before pulling his arm back and hurling the nodachi at the golem. He watched as the nodachi soared straight through the air and collide with the golem shattering it's face, with the katana jutting out of the crystal.
Ben kinda sweatdropped at the amount of strength he used, 'Whoops. Time to get outta here.' He made sure the solider wasn't watching as he slipped away unnoticed by anyone.
Everyone was left flabbergasted when a katana had destroyed the golem, "WE DID IT!" One of the E ranks screamed happily, but the tank knew it wasn't them. Over the loud cheering, he noticed a black long katana jutting out of the destroyed crystal, and grabbed it. He looked around for whoever through it.
He gazed around before finding a solider in the background gazing around curiously, "Hey!" He shouted garnering the soldiers attention, "This katana, do you know who it belongs to?" He gestured to the katana in his hand.
The solider looked around and didn't see the boy he'd come here with, "Yeah, it was another hunter, but I didn't get his name."
'A hunter threw that? He must have been an A-Class Hunter.' He thought.
"That monster was weaker than I thought. Didn't even get any exp from it." He sighed as he started heading back to the hospital, 'Oh well.'
To Be Continued...
A/N: I decided to change the entire second chapter and wait until he's gotten his job changed so you'll see Ben face off against the Ninth head of Orochi.
